Hey so do you know where I could find this acting manifesto of yours?

I usually try and avoid publicly expressing my opinion on things like this but I recently saw some people commenting negatively on his acting again and I’m starting to doubt my own judgement.

I’ve truly never had a huge problem with his acting but I keep seeing people using really harsh words to describe his prior and current work. I genuinely think he’s doing a good job in THK but these comments sometimes make me think I’m missing something.

That conflicts with the fact I know at least three people he worked with on THK specifically had positive things to say about his acting too and I trust people who do this for a living to know what they’re talking about for the most part.

I guess I’m just looking for your post to have a more detailed perspective of the opposite viewpoint to “he’s a terrible actor” to help affirm some of my thinking so I’m more confident in my positive opinion of his acting.

Overall though I’m enjoying everyone in this show but for me I’m specifically enjoying the four mains the most. Kudos to them honestly.

(Disclaimer: Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion but the harshness of some of the opinions took me off guard a little.)

reece king has been making the rounds in fancasts since tumblr began it seems and he’s always been a popular nursey option! alex ruiz i think i found on tumblr too? and lauren de graaf & song weilong were pinterest finds

PINTEREST!!!! is a total godsend. especially with people like reece king, because he has a different vibe now which is sooo cool but doesn’t really match nursey as he appears in the comic. there are a million pictures of him from a few years ago when he first started posting. idk if that’s creepy or not but it sure is useful !!

i also follow them on insta so if they post any pictures or stories that give me frogs vibes i screenshot them and add them to my folder. THIS SOUNDS SO CREEPY TYPING IT OUT LOL

Could you elaborate on Revali's territorial behaviour in regards to Link and how it varies from how Hylians respond to prospective romantic rivals?

I feel like hylian’s are doing an elaborate mental game of chess when it comes to romantic rivals, where as rito are a more- physical- people. I feel like hylian’s are out here saying “my house is bigger than your house!” “my house is bigger than your house!!” over and over where as rito are like, “Let me get that for you!” “I’ll take of that!” “Here’s some food I made!” Rito really said “my love language is acts of service, physical affection, quality time.” and hylian’s said “I have better assets!!” {though now thinking about it I wanna think about how rito and hylian’s differ in how they court people and how rito take lifestyle into account more; where as hylian’s take security into account more. anyway.}

so when it comes to being territorial over Link he’s playing an entirely different game than everyone else. On the external it’d probably look like those unhealthy boyfriends who don’t let their girl go anywhere haha. just looming menacingly over Link at any given time. Revali doesn’t seem to be one to sit back in his uncomfortable feelings, even if he doesn’t always know where they stem from he’s sure as shit going to do something about it! Verbally undermining whatever the romantic rival is saying, being more flashy in general in front of Link (especially if someone else is around), very “look at me! look at me!” I think most hylian’s find it weird and off-putting to have someone getting in their space and business (hylian’s seem like a people who have Too Big a space bubble) so they mostly back down cause they think Revali is weird. Thankfully Link is into the ‘weirdness.’ It’s also probably the only time Revali is ever verbally nice to him to his face.

but to anybody who knows anything about how rito express themselves Revali is essentially holding a giant sign above his head saying “HEY I LIKE THIS ONE! LEAVE HIM ALONE!”
