At last, we've come to 300 Jasper comics... really feeling that age @_@. So to celebrate, is time to give THIS little abomination his own place to run around... So introducing, I.H.O.N.Y. (International House of No Yeah!) "A good breakfast at a reasonable price? NO YEAH!!" With Casper as the head chef, Hoofio as the supervisor, and.... whoever's sadistic enough to put up with the two all day. And the worst part is... CASPER ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!!!! So this could either mean Jasper has less Casper to deal with every week... or new competition.

***SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES FINALE!!!***

Hoo boy. The time has finally come... the last chapter of the book - the end of Friendship is Magic. BUT, that doesn't mean the end of the fandom! No, the fandom will always exist to those who let it... besides, there's still plenty on the way - Generation 5 might be promising, we've got Season 10 in comic form, and I've still got plenty of comics/projects to complete! So really, don't think of it as the end, more like the beginning of something even better - something we make all our own.

Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: ...I WANTED to cry, but I couldn't... I feel bad that I couldn't because this was a really satisfying ending! It felt like the series came to a complete circle - Twilight Sparkle -once a promising student who didn't see the value of friendship- now sharing her wisdom with her own student with the same issues... and the stress of Twilight moving out of Ponyville to pile on top! First I wanna talk about the flashback scenes... very well executed! The emotional turmoil of Twilight moving away and the worrying of how it'll affect their friendship... and how they try to hide their pain... though it kinda doesn't help ^^;. And as for Twilight's SECOND coronation... kinda feels like a symbol of the show itself - it's not perfect, but it's definitely one for the history books and something we can all enjoy. I think the moral of the final episode really hits home - change is scary, but it doesn't mean the end of everything you love, and you don't have to go through it alone... a fitting metaphor for the show ending and a new generation beginning and for the fandom/friendship in general -they don't have to fade away as long as you put in the effort to keep them alive. As for the future stuff.... there's too much to talk about!! So here are my personal highlights - Spike got BUFF over the years ^^, Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich had a baby... AND IS A CUTE FAMILY!!! (I dunno why, Pinkie looks cute with a mommy-fro). Looks like Fluttercord and YonaBar are a thing... but is AppleDash canon? I don't know why, but the way they were talking about doing chores kinda gives me a signal that they MIGHT have a thingy going on.... personally, I'd have gone with RariJack, but beggars can't be choosers. ...Nyeh!!! TOO MANY FUTURISTIC EASTER EGGS!!! If you want to ask me about a specific one, you might need to bring it up in the comments ^^; ...ok, if I have to complain about ONE thing, not too fond of Twilight turning into a grape-flavored Celestia recolor.... though I guess it had to come with the territory of inheriting both princess' powers and crown. In the meantime, with this, the last of the original HUB Channel giants... ending with a symbolic closing of the book from the very first episode (REALLY LOVE that bonus touch). Where do we go from here.... what did I literally just say? :P

Eeeeeyup, now Casper exists for real.... sometimes, the universe has too much time on their hands. Also, I wanted to get ALL my close friends in the store... but only so many would fit T3T

Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: Gulp! This is it, the second-to-final episode, and the final brawl between the Mane 6/all of Equestria vs. the Mean 3! How does it fare? ....Not too shabby, actually :P. You can really tell the stakes are high this time around - the major protectors of Equestria -aside from our girls and Spike- are out of commission, ponies are so scared they've isolated themselves and are basically plunging Equestria into the Dark Ages with the Wendigo swarm (REALLY nice callback to the Hearth's Warming story), and Twilight's completely lost her confidence again (I should be annoyed because we've seen this happened before, but it kinda makes sense now since Discord's little bombshell last time). I think I only have a FEW little complaints - Winter Lotus' (I think that's her name) attitude in PonyVille bugs the hell out of me (Not just insulting the Pegasi, but passing off the Wendigoes when they're LITERALLY SWARMING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU... you are the equivalent of that idiot from Power Rangers who said there's "No such thing as monsters"), Tirek's dad from the comics being mentioned instead of Scorpan (Seriously, where even is he right now? Did he just... die off-screen... oh dang, kinda sounds like Tirek got to him first), and the ponies that make it through to the Unicorns and Pegasi... who were they again? I mean with Sandbar I can buy since we already know who he is and I can believe that Apple Bloom wanting to be with her family, but why not Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle -We could CLEARLY SEE THEM WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE PONIES!?!? I dunno, just a personal tick since we've got like an ENDLESS AMOUNT of already established characters! Other than that, though... really loved the rest of it! Literally every creature in the land coming together to aid the Mane 6 (Including the Kirin, Shadow Tempest (She looks good in show-style), the buffaloes, and the Flim Flam Brothers!! ...Glad the show acknowledged that they're not exactly evil) ...guess that School of Friendship wasn't pointless after all ^^;. The Young Six being treated as ambassadors for their respective species, that slick Pinky and the Brain reference (Yeah, don't think I didn't see that!!), and of course... Chaos Pinkie ^^ -I couldn't not love that. As for the villain's punishment? ...to be honest, I can't think of a better one - Tartarus isn't as secure as it used to be, reforming them is clearly out the window since they're too stubborn to embrace friendship... so yeah, I think a stone prison seems about right (And yes, I know, Cozy Glow is a child.... buuut, she kinda nearly destroyed ALL the magic in Equestria and willingly turned her back on her people without a second thought... why give her special treatment? :P). Also, really appreciated the little "Best Night Ever" callback where they meet up for donuts. I can't think of a better way to celebrate... except maybe with pizza :P. But of course, they still have one last problem to deal with before their time is up - the final episode! Stay tuned this weekend for the final chapter of G4... but NOT the final chapter for our Pizza Pone ;). *Also, personal note, I don't know why, but I love that Tirek's the practical one of the Mean 3, it really balances out between the power-hungry Chrysalis and the... annoyingness of Cozy Glow.

Ever since I first conceived the idea of Casper when I was working on Rumble on the Rails with Science-SteelRail, I've debated how his story should go.... and I came up with the twisted idea that he was never real, but a hallucination brought on by a dangerous combination of Jasper's stress and Thunder Blight's magic. Jasper's been feeling the pressure ever since his Aunt and Uncle left... which is kind of a reflection of how I've been feeling since I moved out of my parents' house last year - worrying about being independent, being able to survive on my own.... to be fair, though, I was never alone. I've always been lucky to have friends willing to help me when I need it the most... I don't know if it counts as being independent ^^;, but I do what I can. Also, don't think this is the end of the story just yet :P but don't worry, we'll be doing the reaction comics to the final two episodes next.... this was just a story I've been building up for a bit ^^.

***SPOILERS FOR THIS WEEK'S SEASON 9 EPISODE!!!***

...No seriously, what WAS that?!?! ...and yes, the first two panels were a jab at those who were sending death threats to the staff after the leaked finale... YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID AND YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!!

Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: And with that, the end of the Daring Do saga has come.... and OYE what a letdown (Season 9 has been in a bit of a rut lately). Now, I can understand what they wanted to go for - the villain's side of the Daring Do story -which can KINDA work since we saw in "Daring Done?" that Daring Do's actions DO have consequences even if she had nothing but good intentions. Instead... it felt completely one-sided, making it extremely obvious that Dr. Caballeron was lying through his teeth, and making Fluttershy look extremely gullible -though, to her credit, she does manage to win the villains over with her kindness -probably right behind Twilight with the record for villain reformations. Speaking of which, I personally am not TOTALLY against villain reformations as long as they're done well... this was not one of those times. I sincerely have a hard time believing that Caballeron would quit JUST because somepony listened to his crocodile tears and he found out Ahuizotl was just protecting his pretties. Speaking of, Ahuizotl... based on his previous schemes with the Sapphire Stone and the whole "using magic rings to unleash 800 years of heat" thing, it's KINDA hard to believe he's just some misunderstood guardian. Speaking of continuity glitches, Daring Do's secret is exposed... and the fans' first instinct is to crash her book signing and jump down her throat about how their fee-fees got hurt because a book character is real and because their dumb enough to believe Caballeron's dumb book ...even though this revelation REALLY means that she's helped Equestria more times than these snobby brats deserve! ...I hate angry fan ponies, can you tell? And something I just remembered... didn't Dash technically already blow the secret when she wrote about her adventures with Daring Do in the journal that got PUBLISHED in "Fame and Misfortune"? So... by now, it kinda shouldn't be no surprise unless there was some kinda spell that made the townsfolk forget all about the journal (Which I wouldn't rule out since we never got to see HOW the Mane 6 got out of that one). Sooo yeah, not really a fan of this episode - rushed reformations, plot holes, and obnoxious fans... really wish they could've ended Daring Do's adventures on a high not since we may never see her again :(. Oh well. Farewell, AK Yearling. Thank you for reminding us that reading isn't just for eggheads and that fiction is more close to home than we thought.

Jasper's ACTUAL thoughts: Ah, Lesson Zero Twilight ...a constant reminder that book horse PROBABLY has a straight jacket in her wardrobe somewhere. While it was nothing but fun watching her lose her marbles, and this episode is filled to the brim with memable faces (Also I don't know why, but the fact that Twilight has a nighttime shirt is cute ^^), I feel like this could've been a Season 2 episode where seeing her be kind of a dingle to her friends was appropriate... though I kinda forgot that she DOES have a history of obsessive behavior over something small (Like winning three Trivia Trots in a row... does she win a free toaster if she does?). Also, I kinda feel like it could've been funnier if Pinkie SOMEHOW actually got an impossible question right instead of repeatedly having her get every answer wrong. Overall.... ponies take Trivia Trot WAY TOO seriously around here, but the little bouts of insanity and meme faces helped balance things out a little... also at one point, I may or may not have been a TwiPie shipper ^^;

***SPOILERS FOR THIS WEEK'S SEASON 9 EPISODE!!!***

...Lord help us, Casper's got his own Magisword!

Jasper's ACTUAL Thoughts: I said how I wanted a sitcom with Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow.... and I got it! ^^ I loved how these three bounced off each other -though because of personal biases, I still prefer Tirek and Chrysalis (Still have no idea what Cozy's deal is.... other than she's just a spoiled brat), and I absolutely loved the song! It was really fun watching the triad learn to not totally hate each other -and heckling their common enemy along the way, but not completely call each other friends just yet (They treat Friendship like a disease, and it nearly caught them in its grasp). But OOF, Grogar is gonna be pissed when he finds out that they've hidden his bell from him... assuming he doesn't already know -he WAS able to see all their previous blunders/King Sombra get decimated... part of me kinda doubts he didn't see them. Either way, this was a really fun episode and gives us something new for Friendship is Magic - an episode starring ONLY the villains! I really like those kinds of episodes, gives us a better look at them not just as baddies, but as characters -it kinda paints the three as the Team Rocket of MLP, and it works so well!!

Part 1 of 2 (Because Tumblr’s kinda anal about the picture limit)

Finally, we come to the 250th comic -featuring the conclusion to a story arc five months in the making, and introducing a new obstacle in Jasper's life - Casper Cake!! Yes, THAT Casper cake from Me and Lightning Bliss' Prank Call video. I didn't think of making him real at first... but after a while I figured why the hell not? With his Uncle Fettuccine away in rehab, it was time to give Jasper something ELSE to be annoyed by -because I'm that much of a masochist :P. And as you can see, I made this comic a double-length thingy for one page, cus there was so much I wanted to cover -meaning that if it's a special occasion, I WILL go beyond my traditional 10-panel limit (Uploading this on Tumblr's gonna be hell though.) And as you can tell, he's loosely based on Nohyas from Mighty Magiswords (Please don't sue me, Kyle!)
