Honestly I cant say there is any direct inspiration more than the fact I adore making characters as soft and huggable as possible, I kinda just looked at his official designs and went... "What if he was squishier..." IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE HSJSHSJ

My favorite Dedede design is the N64 version, but I'm also a big fan of how he looked in Smash Bro's so its kinda a mix of both I suppose. 🤔

ive been a fan of yours for a while and i gotta say, i think you have the best grasp of yurisere/predatorshipping in the fandom. you actually take their characters into consideration and acknowledge their complexity as two stunted individuals who are very different but similar instead of diminishing them to memey single-trait characters. its amazing how many other other fans reduce serena to only "edgey mean girlboss" and yuri to only "nasty psycho" and then call any other version of the ship than constant hate fucking, backhanded affection and beating each other to a pulp "wrong". very tiring how only a handful of us dont like that to be the only thing they ever do

btw, your fics on ao3 are a godsend. judging by your stats im definitely not alone in loving how you write yurisere. thank you for doing the lords work. cant wait to see more updates

Yeah. I agree. A lot. You pretty much summed up my thoughts perfectly.

"Edgy mean girlboss" and "nasty psycho" for Serena and Yuri respectively is... extremely accurate, lol, to the point where I kinda have to laugh bitterly for how pervasive it is. Like, I know they both got shafted hard by canon, but it's a bit annoying when so many people override Serena's multifacetedness to fit the girlboss mold and accuse Yuri of being one-dimensional. I'vs seen some even get strangely angry at the prospect of him not just being the sadistic plant guy. I just don't think him only being that is true. Then again, I'm a staunch defender of the assessment that most of Yuri's character is shown, not told.

Unfortunately, the fanon interpretation of characters overriding canon is something that happens in pretty much any fandom, so there's not much we can do but ignore it and find like-minded people. It's super annoying, but it can't be helped. There's also a broader phenomenon of prioritizing tropes and meme-y dynamics over actually appealing characters, so there's that too.

Since we're all waiting for more canon interaction, I'm definitely in the minority in that I don't think Yuri and Serena's interactions in Duel Links will be a pure hostility fest the entire time. I've also gotten accusations over the years that my Yurisere writing is objectively "wrong" for a plethora of reasons, many of which you stated above, so... there's THAT, too.

At the same time though, that isn't to say Yuri and Serena would never fight or bicker or even be mean to each other — I never expect them to be completely nice and friendly to each other right off the bat. And people are free to write and draw whatever they want — I want to express my disagreement and only that here — so if I don't like it, I ignore it. The people who don't fall into fanon have a much more appealing, deep, and romance-forgiving interpretation of yurisere to me, so I just focus on that!

Anyway, thank you once again for being a fan of my writing! I'm honestly surprised at the following for my current fics on ao3. The Arc-V tag doesn't get much engagement despite being updated every day. (this is so messy, i’m sorry) yughhh, I have such a hard time w/ boxer!aus because I never want to be … cliche with them. You know, meeting when he saves you from something and then slowly falling love only for him to defend your honor in a match of some sort. Like I love that, don’t get me wrong but… i don’t wanna copy or just write a do-over, either!!

Plus, I’ve never seen southpaw, nor do I want you to die… so I wonder, how do you meet? How do you fall in love??? (the only boxing movie I’ve seen is million dollar baby and we all know how that ends…)

But i like the thought of being boxer!Bakugo’s partner or spouse……. and the thought of visiting him at his dojo🥺 … always bandaged up in his ratty gym shorts, topless and showing off his numerous scars and bruises and tattoos…

There’s one by my aunt’s house that has these big glass windows that let you see inside, so I’m kinda imagining that maybe you stop to watch the sparring for a couple minutes every day. Still in work clothes, wrapped up in your cute little scarf and hat to keep you warm outside in the cold.

It’s not even the hot guys that draw you in to watch (the tank of a man with red hair and spikey teeth, the monster with green curls), but just how interesting it is. How they can fight so brutally with each other only to get back up and laugh just as quick (and if the blonde that always seems to notice you doesn’t smile, well, who are who to care).

And idk. Maybe one day they invite you inside, maybe one day you don’t show up and they’re concerned… or maybe you just end up working a double and only cross the dojo’s path when everyone is on their way out… the blonde with a gym bag and the keys locking up and holding back a snarl when you try to rush by.

(He’s not mean, but he’s not sweet yet, either. Just catches your eye for a bit which stops your walk home entirely. he says, “you’re late,” then asks, “gonna get home safe?”

You can’t help but smile. Or try to, at least, feeling a bit silly trying to wave the whole thing off. He doesn’t seem to care.)

But that’s not the end of your interactions, and soon, the man who introduces himself as Bakugo, a boxer, is holding the door for you to come watch the hub from inside. Is waiting for you to arrive to start. Is walking you home every night too, BLAHHH.

Anyway, I’m kinda rambling. Like I said, not the best at this topic, though flattered you came to me w/ it🥺

I just think it spirals from there. Or it started off at a different point, and still continues on. To you bringing him warm dinner to take home with him after practice, to sharing the large cupcake your coworker sent home with you … to like, going home with him in general, when he wants to cook for you, too, in return.

And then of course, the other fighters pick up on things, too. I mean, they knew Bakugo had a thing for you (the cute girl in the window, they called you) since the moment they caught him watching you, but now that things are more… official, it’s like you’re the rink mascot they all love and look out for (lest bakugo beat their ass, but that aside).

You become kind of their cheerleader. Prep their ice and stand on their backs. Go to their matches and sit with whoever isn’t competing, leaving marks in kirishima’s thighs and denki’s palms whenever Kat is in the rink… and running to the rail when he wins (always, usually) and getting pulled up by the collar of your shirt to give him his kiss…

(Not to mention all the good luck love you give him before matches, in the locker room, too…)

Despite how aggressive he is with competitors in the rink, once Bakugo finds you, I feel like he starts to calm down a lot more after fights, too. No longer feels the need to boast and gloat (as much) because you’re already there cheering for him, caring for him, waiting to take him home so you can reward him and he can thank you. He honestly refuses to let you go, even during the aftermath when he’s being interviewed or helping to clean up, you’re there with him, making him happier than he’s ever been before to have chosen this path.

(Plus, when you have a beautiful, doting lover, everyone is already jealous, win or lose…)

Interviewers are like, “how are you feeling, Bakugo?” and he’s just rolling his eyes, “like I wanna take a fucking ice bath with my baby. Move.”

(kids tw from here on our) And when you finally have your little daughter with him, after you’re married (the whole community coming to your wedding, even former opponents), she’s the literal pride and joy of the dojo… worshipped and SPOILED as all heck by all her aunts and uncles, they probably even carve out a few hours a week for her to do stretching, gymnastics and tumbling on the squishy, gym mat floors.

She always walks into the gym carrying the bag of snacks you made for everyone, and Bakugo never hesitates to stop whatever he’s doing (even if it means sero gets dropped on the floor) just to pick her up and carry her around the whole place instead of practicing. She even gets the hang of yelling at people the way he would, too… calling Kiri “kiwi” and telling him to tighten up his butt when he’s in a plank LOL.

She’s probably even the reason Bakugo ends up semi-retiring (phew) and becoming a coach, because she eventually starts wanting lessons, even if he’s SOOO nervous about her actually fighting anyone.

(He’s like, “maybe we can start with Kiri teaching you mma and wrestling?” And she’s like “I want to punch things, dad :/“)

The physical touch part 🤭 in my head he wished he was Peter B. in that moment!!! I MASSIVELY AGREE with the binjpipe takes. i think ETS was good/iconic if only because it was so like. You go along listening to him excitedly run through his past few days, telling you everything in excruciating detail as he jumps from one half-finished thought to another. He may be an adult but he certainly has a young soul. The whole while you feign attention, your fingers continually fidgeting with the diamond necklace or the matching bracelet he had sent you a few weeks back.

“How was your weekend?”  He finally gets around to asking. 

“Not so good. I always have to work so much," You complain, batting your eyes at the camera.  

“You could always quit and come live with me.” He jokes-but not really. It’s a topic he has raised 3 times already.  And you have the same answer ready as always. 

“Daddy, you know I’m a strong and independent woman. I could never let someone else pay for me.” You pout, running your tongue over your lower lip while pushing your chest up a little to draw attention.  “It’s just my rent is so expensive. I feel like I work just to pay the bills.” 

In truth, your rent is already being covered by someone else.  But he doesn’t need to know that. 

While you continue to run through the fabricated details of your weekend, Taehyung is distracted, looking down at his phone.  You know what's happening. It’s like a game. And you’re winning. Your banking app sends a notification, letting you know that K. Taehyung has just sent you a payment. 

You open it up. Yep. That's rent for the month.  Or more, money for that new TV you wanted.

Tuesday.  Jungkooks day.  

With Jungkook it’s a much more straightforward transaction.  He has said he wants to pay for you and he hates the back and forth pretences.  He just wants you to say thank you, smile pretty, and give him all your attention.  

“Do you need anything more for the week?” He asks through the camera.

“Where are we staying this time?” 

You always insist to stay in hotels. Because ‘your apartment feels too busy and mundane, and you want the time you spend with him to be magical and undistracted’. Honestly, you just don’t want him, either of them, in your personal space. You purposefully chose boys who live a few hours away.  It’s hard enough to keep them separated in your everyday life with them being far away. It could only get messy for them to know where you live and how to reach you in person.

You’ve certainly gotten smart at this. Arranging the two men into different days of the week, scheduling them into your calendar to keep them apart and unaware of the other. Both had specifically said very early on that they do not want to share you with anyone else.  And that you were all theirs. And while both of them seemed to trust you, you knew their reactions would be unpleasant, to say the least, if they found out about the other. 

Sugar Daddies can be so possessive. 

But while both these men are very handsome, money is better and more reliable than boys. And if they are stupid enough to spend it all on you, why should you care.

The week passes quickly and it’s the 14th.  Once more you find yourself in the lobby of a 5-star hotel. Jungkook arrived in town early and sent you a message with the room number. 

Time to actually work for your money. 

You knock on the door only to find it slightly open.  Entering there is a trail of rose petals lining the floor leading into the suite. All the lights are dimmed with a warmth of candlelight filling the room. This is so typically Jungkook. Pulling out all the stops to try to impress. 

Dropping your bag at the entrance, you close the door behind you and explore inwards.  

“Daddy?” You call out in a singsong voice. Your heels clack on the tiled floor as you round the corner into the living room. Jungkook is sitting on the lounge, one leg crossed over the other, arms rested up over the back. You smile at seeing him. You always seem to forget just how stunning he is in person. 

“Which one of us are you referring to?” A deep voice startles you from behind. You jolt, spinning to see Taehyung standing behind you leaning against the wall.  

Holy fuck. 

Your mind starts to jumble through what is happening. Thinking about what it was that might have given you away. Evaluating how much they may know. And planning your next move.  

Damn it.  You doubt you’ll be able to smooth talk your way out of this with Jungkook. He’s too direct and absolute. So you’ll just have to accept that that relationship is over. However, you might be able to salvage this situation with Taehyung if you play your cards right. Being defensive should do the trick.

“What is this?” You snap, keeping focused on Taehyung. “This is such a violation of my privacy! You keep smothering me Taehyung! See this is why I tried to find someone else to hang out with.” You stomp your foot. He would always wrap around your finger so quickly with the little girl act. 

“Ha!” He blurts out a short laugh in contradiction to how you expected him to react. “Wow. No, go on. I want to see where this is going.” 

“Do you think we only just found out about each other?” Jungkook pipes up, coming from the couch. 

You sigh. You had almost saved enough for a holiday to the Maldives too. But they seem to know too much. Fine. You can burn both relationships. They were starting to get too clingy anyway.  “Whatever.” You roll your eyes. You got all you could from them. Time to move on to the next.

As you shrug them off, Taehyung steps into the path of the front door. 

“Where do you think you’re going?” Both he and Jungkook start to close in tighter. There is a cold tone to his words. Something far too close to a threat for your comfort. Even in heels, both men naturally stand taller than you which usually wouldn’t bother you. But with an unsteadiness to your footing and a very short dress on, in a dark room with two men you have used and spurned, you are feeling even more vulnerable than you feel you should. 

“Move.” You order. 

A smirk on his lips, Taehyung lifts his hand up and backhands you, knocking you back a few stumbled steps. You gasp, your hand clinging to your cheek, eyes wide in shock. He starts forward, Jungkook intervening, standing between the two of you. 

You can not believe he just hit you! He has never done anything like that before.

“No, don’t do that.” He stops Taehyung as he starts to swing again.  Shaking all over, you’re relieved that one of them is seeing sense.  You take the outstretched hand of Jungkook, lip trembling from the burn on your cheek. He draws you closer and you wrap into him for protection. In the same motion, his free hand swings down punching you in the stomach, doubling you over, dropping you to the floor. “If you hit her head, she might get spaced out. I want her to feel this.”

His words send a chill down your spine. This can not be happening.

“Are you crazy!” You gape, trying to speak while gulping down air. Your head is dizzy, your lungs burning.  Kicking off your heels for better movement, you climb back up to your feet not wanting to engage either man. Eyes focused you look past Taehyung to the door, storming forward. “I’m leaving. We’ll forget all of this, okay.” You bargain through short, panicked breath. 

Taehyungs large hand slams you into the wall, pressing his palm against your shoulder. He follows Jungkooks lead, pounding his fist into your gut. And then again. And again.  His hold removes letting you free and you plummet to the ground, crying within broken huffs while cradling your battered torso. 

“You’re right. That is better.” He laughs at Jungkook. 

“Stop!” You beg, unable to raise your voice above a soft yelp. 

“What's wrong baby? You wanted two men. Now you have them.” Taehyungs bright smile returns to his face. This time with an entirely different meaning than it had ever had until it shifts into a straight, harsh look that you have never seen from him. “Didn't you always say you wished there was some way you could repay me?” 

“You said that to me too.” Jungkook joins his side, both hovering above you, trapping you between them, the wall, and the floor. 

Leaning down Jungkooks hand follows you as you squirm away from him. His fingers wrapped around your throat and lift you up, keeping you against the wall. He takes advantage of you being stuck, leaning into you pressing his lips to yours as you resist as much as you can. 

“Baby, you’re going to pay us back for every dollar we spent on you.” He snarls. 

Taehyung turns your face to him, also forcing a kiss on you. “Don’t worry, Y/n, you’ll see that we know how to share.”

Stan is a really funny person, like its one of his strong traits. even if hes not trying to be funny, his snark and bitter sarcasm is enough to make me crack a smile. like.....hes also just really rude?? hfjhdgdfk like he will outright tell someone that they have an ugly baby like "woah lady you have one ugly baby!!" Ford is a bit different. he doesnt rly use the "make her laugh" tactic to cheer me up, he lets stan take care of that. hes more of the "give her the plaidypus treatment and make her fave drink" guy. basically a lot of holding and words of affirmation, a kiss on the forehead or two shld def do the trick.

HOWEVER, doesnt mean the guy aint funny. hes a diff brand of funny though, he can be sassy and mischievous when he wants to. (when both stan and ford get snarky its a real fuckin treat lemme tell ya) according to journal 3, he used to prank fiddleford by messing w his rubiks cube. its small and harmless, but tiny pranks is his way of playing around and teasing others. sometimes when i enter a room, he starts to sing an old 50s song rly loudly and grabs my hands to swing me around in a bad waltz cuz he knows i get embarrassed easily and i start to giggle out of habit (FJHKJDHFDG IT JUST FLUSTERS ME OK)

i love to drawing, mostly to draw off my imagination, 'bout a word where i can be when reality is too cruel. and also listen to music, bc too lazy to find some typical songs, i just listen to playlist ( mostly suna's 'cause those songs they pick for him just perfectly fit mine ) in all genres or anything that just pop up.

I rarely show my emotions, usually just a blank face or a joking face with " bro, chill " attitude, and always looks exhausted with eye bags.

i don't usually get along with people who i rarely interact to, just needs close friends and that's be enough. my love language are quality quiet time and physical touch, netflix and chill will be a perfect date for me.

Honestly I cant wait until I get into the more artistic part of the development of the game. Drawing the background, doing the cutscenes, drawing the townspeople... Showing that progress is more satisfactory than just saying "I've been structuring the game's story and organizing each chapter!", but well, I guess it is also an important part of the development.

The good part is that I've received a lot of help from friendly volunteers (both from english and spanish speaking communities), who have mainly helped checking the writing.

I honestly can't wait to share more. Would you guys like to see updates on how the game is going from time to time? Or would you rather just wait for trailer or stuff like that?. Because while updates would be spoiler-free, I might include some reference or gag I'm adding to the game you might want to discover yourself while playing 🤔, idk.

on the bus with chip bags on their laps, the silence is almost comforting, right before it’s not. the bus stops to let in more people, and renjun looks at y/n. y/n pops more chips in their mouth before looking back, and renjun swiftly looks away. they’re sitting next to each other, and renjun has never been that close to y/n. he starts noticing their more delicate features up close and feels his chest tightening. after y/n swallows the chips, they look at renjun’s hand, a single ring on his pointer finger. mindlessly, they pick it up to examine the ring. renjun’s heart starts beating louder at the contact, and he looks out the window without knowing what else to do. “pretty ring.” y/n says. “thank you, chenle gave it to me.” he says, smiling shyly. “so you’re married?” y/n says, a single brow raised. renjun takes back his hand and and looks at his ring. “its not like that! besides, i dont like him.” he says. “do you like someone else then?” “maybe.” renjun mutters so quietly that he can barely hear himself. “HA! once renjun reaches his stop, he stands up. “this you?” y/n asks. “yea, bye!” he says, almost sadly walking in front of y/n to get out of the aisle. “no, not bye, lemme walk with you the rest of the way.” y/n says and gets up, walking out and away from the bus shortly after. renjun smiles to himself and walks towards his street, leading the way. “so... who is it?” y/n asks. renjun blushes and covers his face. “i can’t tell you that!” he says. “why not? huh? i’ll tell you mine.” y/n says. “yoU HAVE A CRUSH?” renjun practically screams. “yea, it’s not a big deal.” y/n says, right before pulling two lollipops out of their pocket and handing one to renjun. “fine, but, please don’t hate me.” renjun pleads, putting the wrapper into his pocket. “i promise i wont hate you. who is it?” “well, we only started being friends recently, but they’re just so.. i don’t know. and i’ve told jisung this, but i would do anything for them.” he says, trying hard not to stutter and even harder to not get a heart attack. y/n puts the lollipop in their mouth, and renjun follows. “anything?” y/n asks playfully. “yea, pretty much. i don’t even know why i like them so much, they act like... i don’t know, they kind of ignore me.” y/n secretly wondered what type of human would be able to ignore someone as nice and as attractive as renjun. “ignore you? it’s hard to do that with how whiny you are.” y/n laughs and renjun whines. “see, i told you!” y/n says and smiles around their lollipop. “anyways, do i know them?” y/n asks shortly after. “yea, kinda... hah, all of a sudden i dont really wanna talk about it anymore, so, bye?” renjun forces his hands into his pockets. was he really ready to confess? “fine, i’ll tell you about mine then. he’s really charming in his own way, and i just realized that i liked him recently. we also haven’t been friends for long, ha. i don’t know why, there’s just something about him, his cute little habits are so endearing to me. ew, i sound gross.” y/n pretends to vomit, and renjun sighs lowly. “you really do like him, huh?” he asks, defeated. “yea, i guess i really do.”  y/n smiles to themselves and nudges renjun.

renjun kicks at a rock before stopping in front of a house. “well, this is my house, so...” “right.” y/n nods and presses their lips together. “hey, could you do me a favor?” y/n asks, right before renjun goes to walk up to the door. “sure, anything you want?” “anything?” y/n asks with a smile on their face. renjun lightly blushes, before saying quietly, “yea, anything.” he sends a small smile and y/n can’t help but walk closer to the boy. renjun’s heart starts pounding inside his chest. did he just confess?   y/n reaches out to him and gives him a hug. renjun frantically tries placing his hands on y/n’s back multiple times before finally resting them in one spot, placing his head in the crook of their neck. to him, it felt like they fit together perfectly. a giant smile paints his lips and y/n starts retracting their arms. ‘it’s you, renjun.” y/n faulters with their words. renjun’s eyes go wide and his lips part to let in air. he felt like he couldn’t breathe. “me. i am? it’s… what? he says, absolutely speechless. “you’re the guy i was talking about earlier. not that it matters.” y/n shrugs, trying to hide the fact that their heart was absolutely racing. “it does, uh, to me, because, you’re the person i was talking about earlier too, so…” he hides his face with his hand and looks away. ‘you think i ignore you?’ y/n says, surprised. ‘uh, a little bit…” he admits, shyly. he felt like he was going to explode, he was so flustered. “sorry, i’ll try to pay more attention to you?” y/n offers, paired with a crooked smile. renjun bends his knees and screams into the air, making y/n smile and laugh shortly after. “sorry, and, yea, that would be nice.” y/n hesitates before stepping forward and planting a quick kiss on renjun’s cheek, sending the poor love-struck boy’s heart to heaven and hell at the same time. a wide goofy smile is shared between the both of them. “ill text you?” y/n offers, hands trying to find a place to stop before finally landing in their pockets. “yes, great! i mean, uh, cool. very cool.” renjuns fails to hide his excitement as he practically floats on air and lets out a sigh, shooting y/n a thumbs up. “very cool, yes.” y/n laughs and finally leaves the boy to go inside, and he automatically starts jumping in a circle and clapping out of happiness.
