Honda Rafaga 2.5 S, 1993. A sports saloon sold through Honda's Verno dealership network powered by a longitudinally mounted 2.5 litre 5 cylinder engine driving the front wheels (very Audi-like). The Rafaga (Spanish for "gust" or "blustery") only survived for one generation.

2017 Honda Accord Sport SE Special Edition

The 2017 Honda Accord Sport SE Special Edition is a car of the Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda, which has been manufactured since spring 1976. The 2017 Honda Accord  opened new markets in the mid-class for Honda and finally established the brand as an automotive manufacturer.

The 2017 Honda Accord Sport SE Special Edition based on the intention to bring the relationship between man, society and the automobile into a harmonious “accord”. In Japan, Honda used the Accord to enter the market of the upper class with luxuriously equipped variants. In the course of time the Accord appeared under the names Honda Vigor , Honda Ascot , Honda Rafaga , Honda Torneo and Honda Spirior.

Up to and including the fourth generation, the same vehicle was sold as Accord in Europe, Japan and North America. This development has been separated with the fifth generation. Since the seventh generation, the smaller version offered in Europe has also been used for the Japanese market, so the Accord is now considered a mid-class vehicle in these two sales areas, but is sold in North America under the same name but a limited-scale larger model ( Honda Inspire ). The Acura TSX was based on the European version of Accord.

If all 2017 Honda Accord Sport models offered under the name Accord are combined, then around 17.5 million cars have been sold since 1976. The Honda Accord is thus ranked seventh in the list of the most frequently sold cars of all time. In the summer of 2015, Honda discontinued the production of the current-generation successor to the European market. In other markets, the 9th generation has been on the market since 2013.
