ideally slick should have linked up with B2 DD and CD and tried to make The Midnight Crew Minus One (rip HB) but ultimately fails miserably because he is incapable of realizing that the two goons he collected are not in fact the guys he spent several centuries developing relationships with. slick is like “hey droog i mean diamonds droog i mean diamonds dignitary i mean diamonds droog i mean dignitary. do you maybe want to do a bit of the old ultraviolence together and then get super drunk and after that beat the shit out of each other until we are both bleeding out in the gutter but we still help each other get home anyway and then later you can stop me from committing random acts of self destruction. doesnt that sound fun lol” and DD is like “slick i do not know you”

Homestuck Secret Santa for @davepepsisprite for HSSS 2023

They asked for "CD/DD (carapacians..)" and "please no humanstuck/humanizations," hopefully this fits the bill :D

This is the first time that I have tried differentiating carapacian bodytypes with this bauplan, and I think it came out well! CD is in general shrunk, but also has a shorter skirt, thicker segments, a bigger head, and 2 fewer torso sections (the diamonds and their associated crowns).

And I FINALLY have something approaching done wrt the arms; though I think I'll end up fiddling with the hands a bit more since being able to manipulate the cards they're holding with only 3 digits seems difficult.

Overall, I am happy with this piece and I am glad that @davepepisprite prompted it. Happy holidays! :D

Diamonds Droog and Striped Skunk for my Kemono Friends x Homestuck au! Skunk doesn't like Droogs smoking habit since it stinks and makes her cough and Droog only tolerates her because she did save him and also she's a gray lady. Otherwise he thinks she's completely useless since she was a domestic skunk before becoming a friend so she lacks both the ability to spray and has zero homing instincts so she's always getting them lost.
