4.Tone: Balance skin's pH with a toner.
5 Treat: Apply treatments, such as serums or spot treatments, to target specific skin concerns.

8. Healthy lifestyle choices: Eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep, avoid smoking, and manage stress to keep skin healthy.
9. Avoid environmental damage: Limit sun exposure and use gentle skincare products.
10.Pay attention to hormonal changes: Hormonal changes during menopause, pregnancy, and menstruation can affect skin, so be mindful of these changes and adjust your skincare routine accordingly.

Sick days
A/N: This is the last part of a previous request, I'm really happy that you have enjoyed the last two and I hope you enjoy this one. I've based off myself a little bit, just job wise really 🤷‍♀️
Arthur Leclerc x reader
Synopsis: "Maybee some of the care for her when she's sick 🥹🥹"
Warnings: sick reader, soft Arthur
Tumblr media
You loved your job, getting to watch kids before and after school when their parents would drop them off early or pick them up late. You loved working with the different age groups, doing activities, and running around with them. It wasn't until you got sick that you realised that working with kids might not be completely good. You wake up on a Saturday morning, your sinuses are blocked up, you've got a pounding headache, and your joints ache.
You mentally curse yourself for getting sick, you knew it was from work since you haven't been anywhere else lately. What made it even worse? Arthur has a week off. You're supposed to pick him up from the airport tonight. Luckily you decided to gradually clean your shared apartment throughout the week, so everything has already been done. You gradually get up, heading to the kitchen to get breakfast. You put down 2 pieces of toast, spreading butter and vegemite on them when come up (I am an AUSTRALIAN. Vegemite toast is like a medical remedy for sick days, do not judge me 🫶).
After finishing breakfast, you move on with your day. You head to your home gym, hoping to get a little cardio done. You managed to make it through an hour on the treadmill before your sinuses became too much. You quickly shut it off before running to grab a tissue and pump yourself with more anti-cold tablets. You made it to the shower, washing off the sweat.
You spent the rest of the day in front of the tv, trying to relax and clear your cold up as much as you could. Arthur's plane was arriving at 9pm, so you knew you had to leave at 8pm. It was 7pm when you realised you must shower and get ready to pick your boyfriend up.
After parking at the airport, you made your way in to find Arthur's gate. You had about 20 minutes to go until he walked through the doors. Your nose was still stuffy and you had a bit of a cough, better than this morning but still not great. You sat on a bench, watching as his plane rolled up and connected to the ramp. He was the first person out of the door, frantically looking around until he spotted you.
He broke into a grin and picked up speed, you stood up and broke into a run. Bodies collided in a bone-crushing hug in the middle of the airport, your arms around his neck as he gripped your waist. He pulled his head back, and you let go and grabbed his luggage, avoiding his kiss so you wouldn't get him sick. You linked your hand with him, pulling his luggage behind you. He didn't move, letting go of your hand and pouting as you turned around.
"Baby, what are you doing?" slightly amused by his reaction, you moved closer to him. He mumbled under his breath, "What did you say?" you asked him. "You didn't kiss me" he said through his pout. You giggle a little when you answer, "Arty, I've got a cold, I don't want to get you sick on your time off". He gave you a massive eye roll when he said "Seriously, love? You know I don't give a shit of your sick or not, I'll gladly get sick if it means I still get to kiss you"
You laugh as you reach up to cup his cheek, "I think you might be going soft, baby" you joke. "I don't care" is the only thing you hear as he brings his hand to the back of your head and connects your lips in a mind-blowing, firework show of a kiss. You both make your ways back to the car and head home for the night. Lo and behold, you wake up the next morning with no cold symptoms. However, your boyfriend is shivering and sniffling. "I told you, baby" you says as you big spoon him, "Shut up", he responds, "I still love you, even if you got me sick" he chuckles. "I love you too, Arty"

Last one for Jiro I swear.
Jiro's parents originate from a line of Lightning Dragons that came from the First Realm, and he doesn't exactly recall which realm his family was in previous to The Merge. All he knows is that the realm was often hard to reach unless you looked for the correct spots in another one.
In comparison to other Lightning Dragons, Jiro's variant is actually much more anti-social. Mated pairs are often monogamous and will not find another partner once their first one dies as they mate for life.
There are some cases of those who have lost mates who will seek out the comfort of others who have also lost their loved ones. One of the more famous stories his parents told to him and his sister is actually about an elder who lost her mate and a young adult who lost his first love.
Jiro himself, however, post Merge and before his capture, on occasion, flew to flocks of Dragons to keep up with events that were occurring in the Merge World. He had hung around them long enough to where Imperium thought he was apart of the family.
This is why he was given the name "Sora," as he had been left behind in their eyes. (He had been caught departing from their grounds and had killed a lot of Claw Hunters who'd been gunning for the flock).
As mentioned in the short story, "Silent Storm" and the previous post. Jiro has an older sister who's hatchling name is Squallfang! Her parents named her this to honor Firstbourne's Sentinels, a group of Dragons that were the forefathers to all Dragons during the war against the Oni and Firstbourne's first and last clutch of personal eggs.
Squallfang was specifically named after Thunderfang the Lightning Dragon and Squall the Wind Dragon, taking both names and combining it. This was because she was the biggest of their children, and she would accidentally blow Jiro away with gusts of her wings whenever she flared them or her attackers.
According to his parents, he and his sister had an older brother. But he had left home at a moderately young age without even a goodbye, which didn't particularly either. He hadn't gotten his name before he left. All Jiro and his sister knew of him was that he had been named Stormcloud.
Jiro was named Thunderstrike for his fast movements and nature. When he was a hatchling, he often hunted small lizards and mammals more effectively than his sister, who could tackle bigger games more easily than he.
It is within his family's customs to give a precursory name to their hatchlings before they are properly given names. They must accomplish a feat before they are given a name, and it is often either parent who choses it once they deem the hatchlings ready.
You see, a feat is often left unsaid to the children. It is only when they have done something and reached their true potential that they are given it.
Once the child has been given their name, they often leave the nest and don't return to it. They do, however, reside within the territory of the parents for however long they wish. The only time they are called back is to greet the newest offspring of the parents before they are taken to Firstbourne for her blessing.
This was the case when Jiro had been taken to the All-Mother for her blessing, mentioned in a previous post.
Names in Jiro's family are a private affair, mainly. Jiro doesn't say his parents' names or his sisters. One must ask them for permission to use it. This is why Jiro declined in telling Sora what his sister and his parents' names were. Sora must ask them if she ever meets them.
He, by comparison, doesn't mind sharing, however. He often likes showing his name.
Suprsingly, the way he earned his name was by defending his sick mother and her newest clutch from a pack of Grundles that had found the nest and her sleeping. His father had gone further out to find her something to remedy the sickness, asking his sister for aid.
Jiro fought them off, and his mother had gifted him the name he now bears with pride today. He later learned that this was in reference to his brother, who was a protector, who had done the same thing, albeit defending his sister's egg.
A second defender.

SAINT OF THE DAY (January 31)
Tumblr media
On January 31, the Roman Catholic Church honors St. John Bosco (or “Don Bosco”), a 19th-century Italian priest who reached out to young people to remedy their lack of education, opportunities, and faith.
John Bosco was born on 16 August 1815 to a family of peasant farmers in Castelnuovo d'Asti — a place which would one day be renamed in the saint's honor as “Castelnuovo Don Bosco.”
John's father died when he was two years old, but he drew strength from his mother Margherita's deep faith in God.
Margherita also taught her son the importance of charity, using portions of her own modest means to support those in even greater need.
John desired to pass on to his own young friends the example of Christian discipleship that he learned from his mother.
At age nine, he had a prophetic dream in which a number of unruly young boys were uttering words of blasphemy.
Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary appeared to John in the dream, saying he would bring such youths to God through the virtues of humility and charity.
Later on, this dream would help John to discern his calling as a priest.
But he also sought to follow the advice of Jesus and Mary while still a boy:
He would entertain his peers with juggling, acrobatics and magic tricks, before explaining a sermon he had heard, or leading them in praying the Rosary.
John's older brother Anthony opposed his plan to be a priest and antagonized him so much that he left home to become a farm worker at age 12.
After moving back home three years later, John worked in various trades and finished school in order to attend seminary.
In 1841, John Bosco was ordained a priest.
In the city of Turin, he began ministering to boys and young men who lived on the streets, many of whom were without work or education.
The industrial revolution had drawn large numbers of people into the city to look for work that was frequently grueling and sometimes scarce.
Don Bosco was shocked to see how many boys ended up in prison before the age of 18, left to starve spiritually and sometimes physically.
The priest was determined to save as many young people as he could from a life of degradation.
He established a group known as the Oratory of St. Francis de Sales and became a kindly spiritual father to boys in need.
His aging mother helped support the project in its early years.
John's boyhood dream came to pass:
He became a spiritual guide and provider along with his fellow Salesian priests and brothers, giving boys religious instruction, lodging, education, and work opportunities.
He also helped Saint Mary Dominic Mazzarello form a similar group for girls.
This success did not come easily, as the priest struggled to find reliable accommodations and support for his ambitious apostolate.
Italy's nationalist movement made life difficult for religious orders, and its anti-clerical attitudes even led to assassination attempts against Don Bosco.
But such hostility did not stop the Salesians from expanding in Europe and beyond.
They were helping 130,000 children in 250 houses by the end of Don Bosco's life.
“I have done nothing by myself,” he stated, saying "it was Our Lady who has done everything through her intercession with God."
John Bosco died in the early hours of 31 January 1888, after conveying a message:
“Tell the boys that I shall be waiting for them all in Paradise.”
Pius XI beatified him on 2 June 1929 and canonized on 1 April 1934.
He is a patron saint of young people, apprentices, and Catholic publishers and editors.

Home Remedies for Skin Sunspots: Secret Natural Solutions Revealed
Sunspots are flat brown patches that appear on parts of skin exposed to the sun over time. They are sometimes referred to as age spots or solar lentigines.
These are frequent places that many people find unpleasant from a cosmetic standpoint, especially as they become older.
At least there are a lot of DIY treatments that can help sunspots look less noticeable and balance out skin tone.
Tumblr media
Home Remedies for Skin Sunspots
Understand Sunspots
Long exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation can cause sunspots, a frequent skin problem that is caused by an increase in melanin production in the skin.
The pigment called melanin, which gives our skin its color, can result in the formation of dark spots when it is produced in excess.
Sunspots usually develop on the face, hands, shoulders, and arms areas of the body that are exposed to the sun the most.
Natural Ingredients to Treat Sunspots
Sunspots can be effectively reduced without the use of harsh chemicals by using natural components.
The following are a few of the top natural remedies,
1. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice, which is high in vitamin C, gradually lightens sunspots by acting as a natural bleaching agent.
Lemon juice's citric acid helps exfoliate the skin by removing dead skin cells and encouraging the development of new, lighter skin.
2. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is well-known for its healing and calming qualities, which may help in improving skin health and lightening sunspots.
Compounds found in aloe vera can help in promoting skin renewal and reduce pigmentation.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
Because of its acetic acid content, apple cider vinegar is a well-liked treatment for skin tone evenness and sunspot removal.
Also having astringent qualities, apple cider vinegar helps to tighten and cleanse the skin.
4. Green Tea Extract
Antioxidants found in green tea extract can diminish sunspots and decrease the synthesis of melanin.
Green tea's anti-inflammatory qualities may also help in soothing and shielding the skin from more harm.
Tumblr media
5. Turmeric
Curcumin, the main component of turmeric, has strong anti-inflammatory and skin-lightening effects.
Skin tone can be evened out and sunspots can be less noticeable with the use of turmeric.
6. Vitamin E
Strong antioxidant vitamin E can help heal damaged skin and lessen the visibility of sunspots.
It is a fantastic treatment for sun-damaged skin since it encourages skin regeneration and healing.

biography
one minute he was in his den, his harem of omegas full and contently curled up against him as they slept, and the next it felt as if his mind was being split open, as if his limbs were being ripped from his body as he was torn and pulled violently through some kind of magic spell. stuck in a wilderness he did not recognize, without any way of getting back home or reaching his mates, he was stranded; lost in time. finding it faster to traverse the unfamiliar surroundings, he remained in his animal form for months; roaming the mountains and countryside as he searched for his mates and any clues as to what happened to him.
in his roaming, he came across a lone, strangely dressed person. before he could shift they reacted to the fear of seeing a wild cougar sneak up on them and shot him; three times. he expected them to leave him there to die, to bleed out on the mountainside, but to his surprise the stranger he had scared turned out to be a witch. out of guilt the witch took him in and helped heal him with magic and horribly tasting herbal remedies. rowan, in turn, spent a few weeks with them while he recovered; learning about and adapting quickly to this new timeline he had found himself somehow thrust into.
it wasn't long, though, before people came looking for him. apparently being thrown through time without any explanation or reason wasn't as unique a occasion as he'd previously assumed. without questioning any of them, rowan followed to new haven and was quick to find a job for himself and settle into the community. he also jumped at the chance, whenever he could, to help them find other stranded souls like his own in hopes that they would be able to transition a bit more easily than he did at the beginning. he wanted to give them the clarity he lacked for so long.
though he'd been in new haven for five months, or so, this town already felt like home to him. then the barrier cracked. while he might not have known much about what was going on, or magic, he's already dug his heels into the ground and readied himself to make his stand here. he's already been ripped away from his home once, it wasn't going to happen again without a fight.

The Healing Power of Castor Oil: Liver Cleansing and Detoxification
Tumblr media
As homemakers and caretakers, we’re often focused on the well-being of our families, sometimes neglecting our own health in the process. However, maintaining our health is crucial to keep the household running smoothly. One simple and effective way to support our health is through liver cleansing, specifically using castor oil packs. This age-old remedy is a gentle yet powerful method to detoxify the liver, and it’s easy to incorporate into your self-care routine. Let’s explore the benefits of castor oil liver packs and how to use them for detoxification.
The Importance of Liver Health
The liver is one of the hardest-working organs in our body, responsible for detoxifying chemicals, metabolizing drugs, and filtering blood from the digestive tract. Keeping the liver healthy ensures that our bodies function optimally, promoting overall well-being. Regular detoxification can help support liver function, and castor oil packs are a soothing and effective way to do this.
Benefits of Castor Oil Liver Packs
1. Enhanced Detoxification: Castor oil packs stimulate the liver to release toxins, improving its ability to cleanse the blood. This enhanced detoxification can lead to better digestion, increased energy levels, and improved overall health.
2. Improved Circulation: Applying castor oil packs can boost blood circulation, aiding in the removal of toxins and promoting healing. Better circulation also helps to deliver nutrients more efficiently throughout the body.
3. Reduced Inflammation: Castor oil has natural anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation in the liver and other parts of the body. This can be particularly beneficial for those with chronic inflammation or autoimmune conditions.
4. Stress Relief and Relaxation: The process of applying a castor oil pack is inherently relaxing. Taking the time to perform this self-care ritual can help reduce stress levels, promoting a sense of calm and well-being.
5. Hormonal Balance: Regular use of castor oil packs can help balance hormones by supporting the liver’s ability to metabolize and eliminate excess hormones. This can be particularly beneficial for women experiencing hormonal imbalances or menstrual issues.
How to Use Castor Oil Packs for Liver Cleansing
Creating a castor oil pack is simple and can be done with a few basic supplies. Here’s how to do it:
Ingredients:
High-quality castor oil
A piece of flannel or cotton cloth (large enough to cover your abdomen)
Plastic wrap or a plastic bag
A heating pad or hot water bottle
An old towel
Instructions:
Prepare the Pack: Soak the flannel or cotton cloth in castor oil until it’s saturated but not dripping.
Apply the Pack: Lie down on your back and place the cloth over the area of your liver (right side of your abdomen, just below the rib cage).
Cover and Heat: Cover the cloth with plastic wrap to keep the oil from staining, then place the heating pad or hot water bottle on top. Cover everything with an old towel.
Relax and Detox: Relax and let the pack work its magic for 30-60 minutes. This is a great time to listen to calming music, meditate, or simply unwind.
Clean Up: After removing the pack, wipe your skin with a clean cloth to remove any residual oil. You can store the used cloth in a sealed plastic bag and reuse it for future packs.
Frequency: For best results, use castor oil packs 3-4 times a week for at least one month.
Bringing It Home
Incorporating castor oil packs into your wellness routine is a wonderful way to support your liver health and overall well-being. As homemakers, we often juggle numerous responsibilities, making it essential to carve out time for our self-care. The gentle detoxification process provided by castor oil packs not only enhances liver function but also offers a moment of relaxation and stress relief.
By prioritizing our health with natural remedies like castor oil packs, we can maintain the energy and vitality needed to care for our families and homes. So, take a moment to nurture yourself with this simple, soothing practice. Your liver—and your entire body—will thank you.
With care and wellness,

Understanding Joint Pain: Causes and Calming Techniques at Home
Tumblr media
Joint pain is a common ailment that can affect people of all ages. It can range from a mild ache to a debilitating throb, significantly impacting daily life. While the discomfort itself is unpleasant, understanding the root cause of your joint pain is crucial for finding effective relief.
Unveiling the Culprits: Common Causes of Joint Pain
Tumblr media
Several factors can contribute to joint pain. Here are some of the most frequent culprits:
Injury: Sprains, strains, and fractures can all cause joint pain, inflammation, and stiffness. These injuries are often accompanied by swelling, bruising, and difficulty moving the affected joint.
Arthritis: This is a general term for conditions that cause inflammation and degeneration of the joints. Osteoarthritis, the most common type, results in the breakdown of cartilage, the cushioning material between bones. Rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease, attacks the joints themselves.
Overuse: Repetitive motions can stress the joints, leading to pain and inflammation. This is particularly common in athletes and people who perform physically demanding jobs.
Bursitis: Bursae are fluid-filled sacs that cushion the bones, tendons, and muscles near joints. Inflammation of these bursae, called bursitis, can cause pain and tenderness.
Gout: This is a type of inflammatory arthritis caused by a buildup of uric acid crystals in the joints, often resulting in sudden and severe pain, particularly in the big toe.
Natural Remedies to Soothe Your Sore Joints
While consulting a doctor is always recommended for persistent or worsening joint pain, several home remedies can offer relief:
Rest and Relaxation
Tumblr media
The first step is to give your joints a break. Avoid activities that aggravate the pain and allow your body time to heal.
Ice and Heat Therapy
Tumblr media
Applying ice packs wrapped in a towel can reduce inflammation, especially after an injury. Conversely, applying heat through warm baths, heating pads, or moist towels can help loosen stiff joints and ease muscle tension.
Dietary Adjustments
Maintaining a healthy weight puts less stress on your joints. Consider incorporating anti-inflammatory foods like fruits, vegetables, and fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids into your diet.
Gentle Exercise
Tumblr media
Regular exercise strengthens the muscles that support your joints and improves flexibility. Opt for low-impact activities like swimming, walking, or yoga.
Supplements
Certain supplements, like glucosamine and chondroitin, may help with osteoarthritis pain. However, discuss these with your doctor before starting any new supplements.
Additional Tips for Joint Comfort
Here are some additional lifestyle modifications that can contribute to joint health:
Maintain good posture: Proper posture helps distribute weight evenly across your joints.
Supportive footwear: Invest in shoes that provide adequate cushioning and arch support.
Ergonomics: Setting up your workspace ergonomically can minimise strain on your joints.
Stress management: Chronic stress can exacerbate joint pain. Techniques like yoga, meditation, or deep breathing can help manage stress levels.
Remember, these remedies aim to provide comfort and are not substitutes for professional medical advice. If your joint pain is persistent, severe, or accompanied by other symptoms, consult a doctor to determine the underlying cause and receive proper treatment.

How did you get started on your witchcraft journey? I'm a beginner bruja and I'm having a hard time finding resources or trusted brujas to get advice from, do you have any tips or pointers?
Hello! well, to be honest, I am a hereditary practitioner. Most of my current practice comes from what I learnt from my mother & grandmother growing up, with some bits from other family members aswell. I started putting effort & trying to find my own way when I was 11-12 years old, but still with my family's guidance and I've been walking the path ever since.
My first and most important tip will always be to connect with your ancestors first. They have the keys to the kingdom. Anything you want to do or learn, they'll either teach you directly or point you towards the right mentors & elders to learn from. Light a white candle for them and pray, in whichever way you prefer, christian, pagan, doesn't matter. Speak to them. Make a space in your home for them, a shelf with the white candle and some stuff that reminds you of them, that they would like. Christian ancestors could appreciate a bible or a book of psalms and songs, but other offerings could be medicinal plants, alcoholic drinks (if you're of legal drinking age) musical instruments, even food if you feel like cooking for them, feeding them is a great offering to strengthen that bond. A cup of water would also be splendid, and change the water often. Don't let it go dry. Ask for their guidance in your path, let them lead your hand.
My second tip is simply to talk to your family, if you can and it's safe for you to do so. Depending on their beliefs and what culture they belong to, they'll be able to tell you more or less about brujería and magic in general, but both your living and dead relatives, of your own blood and culture, will always be your #1 most valued source. Ask for paranormal stories, or about hadas, duendes, ask if they know any origin stories to rivers, mountains, to the world, any fables that include the native animals of your ancestral land, any tricks or charms to attract good luck, drive away evil, home remedies, etc. Careful here, because brujería traditionally has negative connotations in latin america, so older folks are likely to reject it. Instead, ask about magia, santos, curaciones, remedios, you'll probably have more luck and see they have a completely different (a more positive) reaction to these words than to brujería. I'll post in more detailed about the wording of it all soon.
And finally, connect to the Land around you & it's spirits. If you're lucky to be in your ancestral lands, learn all you can about it's flora and fauna, and it's history and folklore, and about your own family's history. If you're displaced, learn about both your ancestral lands AND the land you're currently living in, who the ancestral owners would be, etc. Again, flora, fauna, history, folklore and stories of all sorts. There you'll find more bits and pieces of how to build your relationship with the Spirits and the Ancestors of the Land, of what kind of magic and spirits inhabit it, and more.
Of course you can also try to find other brujas online to help you find your way in brujería, there's a lot of very knowledgeable practitioners of curanderismo, brujería and other traditional practices online, but as inspiring as they can be, they shouldn't be your primary nor only source, rather, take what you find online with a huge grain of salt and before accepting and using what they share, analize it critically from your own point of view, your history, your culture, make sure it makes sense to you. Online sources, videos, books even, can have a lot of useful things or a lot of misappropriated out-of-context nonsense. Everyone's brujería is different because our history and our cultures are different... and beyond differences, there's a bunch of crap online aswell. Always keep a critical eye, specially a decolonizing & anti-racist eye.
Last tip, Prayer Without Work Is Dead. Brujería is a practice, so practice! research as much as you can and then try different approaches, see what sticks, find what works best for you, and make sure to balance the spiritual and the material. A study spell to ace an exam won't do much if you don't actually sit down to study, always accompany your spiritual work with physical effort aswell.
Hope that helps darling!! best wishes 💕

Indian habits that are actually good for your health
Reading time- 4 mins
Since childhood, we have been following certain habits and rituals without ever questioning why we are doing it in the first place. People are working late at night, eating irregular meals, and consuming processed and junk foods in the name of modern living. In this rush of our modern life, we have entirely forgotten the small things our grandmothers taught us or made us do.
While each of these rituals has stood the test of time, it is only because they had a scientific reason behind it. India, a land of diverse cultures and traditions, is a treasure trove of habits and customs that not only enrich our lives but also promote mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Let's take a journey back in time to explore some of these timeless Indian habits that can rejuvenate our minds, bodies, and souls:
Morning Rituals: In India, our elders have always taught us to start the day by greeting the rising sun. The dawn is greeted with rituals that set a positive tone for the day. The practice of rinsing your face and eyes with cool water upon waking not only refreshes your senses but also stimulates blood circulation. The age-old tradition of performing Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) is a gentle yet invigorating yoga routine that flexes your muscles, calms your mind, and welcomes the day with renewed energy.
Healthy Eating: Having home-cooked Indian meals has been a habit inculcated in us since childhood. Indian households have long relied on the power of herbs and spices for their medicinal properties. Turmeric, with its anti-inflammatory benefits, finds its way into curries and healing concoctions. Holy basil, or tulsi, is revered for its stress-reducing and immune-boosting properties. Incorporating these natural remedies into your diet can fortify your health and enhance your vitality.

Eating with your hands: Indian meals are not just about satisfying hunger; they are an experience that engages all 5 senses. The practice of eating with your hands, as per tradition, connects you with your food, encourages slower eating, and aids digestion.
Practicing Gratitude: Indian traditions place great emphasis on gratitude. Daily prayers and offering thanks for the blessings in life cultivate a positive mindset and nurture your soul. Taking a few moments each day to acknowledge the abundance in your life can shift your focus from worries to appreciation, fostering a sense of mental calmness and emotional well-being.
Connection with Nature: India's reverence for nature is woven into its cultural fabric. Taking leisurely walks in green spaces, practicing yoga outdoors, or simply meditating under a tree can reconnect you with the natural world. This practice not only improves physical health through fresh air and movement but also rejuvenates the spirit.
Festivals and Celebrations: When we were young, Diwali meant a celebration with our entire friends & family including our most distant relatives. India's diverse festivals bring communities together in a celebration of life, traditions, and unity. Participating in these festivals fosters a sense of belonging and shared identity. The joy and camaraderie experienced during these events can have a positive impact on mental health, reducing feelings of isolation and promoting a sense of happiness.
Daily Prayers & Chanting Mantras: It is customary in a Hindu household to light a ghee diya and offer incense sticks while performing aarti every evening. Chanting mantras or sacred sounds can have a calming effect on the mind, reducing stress and promoting inner tranquility and the calming aroma of incense sticks removes negativity or blockages from your life.
