trying to imagine what a Welcome Home ending would look like (which is extremely stupid lmao considering we dont know shit about jack yet), and it's just... huh.

i doubt it's going to take the "the puppets are turned into humans and they join the real world" route (and if it does, then cool! that'd be sick as fuck!), so what would a happy ending look like for them? would they get a little sanctuary to live freely in? is there a secret world of living puppets out there somewhere?

what if its a tragic ending? the puppets either are repurposed for a new show, or stripped of their Awareness, or become inanimate objects - normal puppets? what if they just straight up fade away?

or a bittersweet ending? they renew the show in order to stay alive and together, but they're forced to return to their old lives & routines? or it's ambiguous and we don't actually see what happens after a certain point - where the ending for the audience comes before the puppet's real endgame; it's not for us to see/know, they get an unobserved close to the story.

its simultaneously fascinating and distressing to think about.

finally got a job & then my car's engine immediately started smoking on the way home from meeting my supervisors & filling out tax paperwork. 🫠

#ctxt #well i got the job earlier this week but bc this dumb organization does things backwards #it wasn't until today that i confirmed that yes actually things are proceeding as normal & i should start in ~2 weeks #had to get my dad's help to limp my car to the fucking mechanic tho while he drove behind me to make sure nothing caught on fire #fingers crossed that it's just a coolant leak from a busted hose or something cuz i cannot afford any major repairs rn #i'm excited thoooo this'll be my first job in uuuuhhhhh 9 years? that isn't retail sales customer service or food service #it'll be more manual labor than i'm used to so sending up a prayer that my body will be able to handle it #but holy shit i get to more or less choose how many days i work and i just get to spend all day #organizing pieces of paper & then going around town putting them in various locations #it sounds like the dream #charlie vs mail

Back in the day it was three months ago and you would go to church at the normal time and see your normal fellow churchgoers who were not annoying and a very hot man would be there beautifully performing classical music for your enjoyment. this was only a very short time ago

#the problem with this combined service is that the people who normally attend the larger earlier service are there #and because THEY have never once been to the later service they act like YOU have never been there before even when you tell them otherwise #even then. like where were you during Lent??? we were all supposed to be at the same holy week services...#i went to maundy thursday and nobody knew you...

omg they're mad because biden officially declared march 31st to be trans day of visibility and easter just so happens to fall on march 31st this year. MIND YOU none of these people celebrate easter beyond egg hunts and the obligatory lecture they receive about the resurrection. also easter lasts 50 days i don't know why they're so angry about one thing that won't even happen again within the next ten years

We had three sacred ministers at mass today! We haven’t had three since before Covid, when it was normal for the 9 o’clock Sung Mass. I served on the altar as an acolyte and we got to use the fancy outdoor torches since the procession went outside. And the choir chanted the Passion of Christ which was as beautiful as always. And we sang “all glory laud and honor to thee redeemer king” one of my favorite hymns. And we brought a friend with us who’s been coming for a couple weeks and she’s loving mass too!

Anyway, Palm Sunday was amazing this year! Praise the Lord!
