Question: Does 47 dream?
I’m writing a Hitman fanfiction and the subject of dreams came up (how does it came up when I was the one writing it? Clearly I’m not in control, I just follow the story). I’ve only played the last Hitman triology though, so I’m not sure.
Has there ever been a moment where it was revealed that he dreams or remembers his dreams? If yes, what does he dream about? Or was it perhaps stated that he doesn’t dream?

I wish Sekiro was a different game
Sekiro follows the SoulsBorne formula: enemies respawn every time you die except for bosses and the world is full of them, boss fights are very difficult so that you will have to fight them many times, you will die a lot but slowly get better and work your way to success.
However, I don't think this formula fits the story. The game experience is an excessively hostile world (because almost anyone you meet is hostile to you) and at the same time uncaring (you can kill the enemies hundreds of times, they always respawn and act as before). This fits the Dark Souls world perfectly: a post apocalyptic world in which almost everyone is undead and most of the undead have gone hollow, so they are incapable of forming new goals and just repeat what they are doing over and over again. But in Sekiro, lorewise the protagonists immortality is an exception. The world isn't, as far as I can tell, supposed to be a post apocalyptic world, and most of the people you encounter are supposed to be normal (or at least mortal) people.
So it doesn't fit that the world is excessively hostile and uncaring. I would enjoy the game a lot more if the world was primarily populated by civilians, minding their own business unless you interact with them. Peaceful interaction with NPCs / social engineering (convincing people to give you access, disguising yourself and playing a role, gathering information so you find the perfect moment to strike) would fit so much better with the story I have experienced so far. I would have liked to infiltrate Ashina Castle by disguising myself as a servant.
Sekiro himself would still be immortal and return to the last sculptor's idol upon death. But the world would react. You wouldn't be able to use the same disguise to fool the same person again if they recognized you in the past. If you kill Ashina soldiers, they stay dead, but the security around the castle gets tightened/the soldiers get more alert. Bosses have a routine and you can attack them in different locations (for that there should be day/night cycle). Bosses would need to be more forgiving, because getting to a boss would be a lot more difficult.
So yeah, a very different game, sort of a blend between SoulsBorne-formula and Hitman-formula.
(Alternatively, if the games lore and vibe was closer to Dark Souls that would also work. But as it is now there is, in fancy terms, ludonarrative dissonance.)

on one hand "two bros chilling in a world of assassination" would be a banger name for my hitman fic idea
on the other hand that would probably cause readers to assume the titular two bros are more than just platonic life buddies who run some kind of computer consultancy service together and keep ending up in places where 47 is out assassinating people because their other friend works for providence and keeps getting them jobs

Of course Lara Croft is more iconic than Mario, Sonic, Link and the rest, you can cry about it all you want in the replies on Twitter but it's the truth.
She's the most successful woman to ever hit video games.
She jump-started the action adventure genre.
She revolutionised 3D gaming.
She inspired tons of imitations and her likeness (dual pistols, long braid, blue tank top + brown pants combo) continues to be applied to various degrees in female characters to this day.
She has stayed relevant across decades.
She was the very first and only video game character to become a pop culture icon and be treated as a celebrity in the 90s, appearing in magazine covers, advertisements for Séat, Lucozade, Visa etc., touring with U2 and having her own publicist.
She has won multiple Guinness awards.
She has been portrayed by two Oscar-winning actresses.
Her games have been extremely successful, both critically and commercially, and she has outlived her main and only competitor, Nathan Drake.
