hi i would love to let you know that in renaissance florence it was actually incredibly rare for someone to be executed for sodomy, at most they would be given a fine! in fact, the term "Florenzer" was used to describe someone who routinely participated in those sort of activities!

so about the "history with tryna start a renard discography" i basically began working on linking his first few albums on my old "all soundcloud lapfox playlists" doc where i just. Worked on looking for lapfox stuff on soundcloud for fun. back in november 18 2023 i began with renard and uhh my first thats when i had my first "discovery" when doing this whole research thing. i didnt know about renards trauma megamix so i just put an indent cuz i had no idea what to do with the mixes 😛 after this i tried again around april-may 2024 to start working on this but i just didnt wanna do such a large playlist at the time. here in the doc i still have the shit i used to keep track of my azrael and kitsune^2 playlists . i dont really use this anymore since i just make a fresh doc for whoever im working on but it still has the work for deuteronomy (which i chose to "research" first for some reason) and ill probably use it if i make a doc for them

2 años, la madurez no le llega a todos al mismo tiempo.

En los últimos dos años la vida me dio una arrastrada, creo que hablo por todos cuando digo “siempre hay algún momento de la vida en el que parece que nada puede llegar a empeorar”, ciertamente muchos nos sentimos identificados con esto, todos tenemos algún pasado oscuro del que nos avergüenza hablar.

Quiero compartirles de como la cague y la seguía cagando a pesar de ver las cosas tan obvias.

Conocí a la persona que más tarde se convertiría en mi pareja, cuando nos conocimos claramente me gustaba ya que siempre fue una persona carismática y como mujer a las chicas nos encanta que tengan buena personalidad, y para mi en ese entonces el tendría a lo que se le llamaría una personalidad atractiva, siendo jóvenes creemos que se puede solo vivir de unos cuanto besos, abrazos y unos “te amo” aunque realmente no conozcamos el significado de esa palabra, muchos tardamos en entender el verdadero significado y peso que esta tiene.

Por ahí del 2012 mi abuela fue invitada a una boda de parientes políticos, nos tocaba quedarnos con la familia del novio quienes eran muy amigables, obviamente más familiares llegaron y mi abuela se había ofrecido a ayudar, entonces yo siendo algo aburrible fui a buscar donde distraerme o pasar el tiempo, ahí fue cuando lo vi llegar estando sentada en el patio sobre una gran montaña de tierra, ambos nos miramos por bastante tiempo hasta que su prima nos presentó (desde entonces me habría parecido tierno), siendo atento y bastante hablador el chico se gano mi corazón aunque jamas ninguno dio un paso, más tarde después de la boda teníamos que separarnos y para ese entonces fue tan triste, recuerdo haber llorado por que quería más tiempo a su lado, siempre fue muy ocurrente y alegraba mi corazón.

As part of the anniversary week I have compiled all the interesting stories (to say nothing else) that comics and fanfic have brought to this small fandom.

When I was still in high school, a teacher gave us a project and since I already had my little group of friends, between them and me we were going to do it. The thing is that none of them had a computer to do the project but me, so I offered to do the project at my house.

At that time there were 3 friends, of the three I was the only girl in the group, so what would happen?

The thing is that I had already learned about the story of the little star, so I was giving her encouragement to continue it. Anyway, even at home and with the computer open the creation of the project began, half an hour later I suggested something to eat so I went to get some snacks.

When I came back they were looking attentively at the screen without saying a single word, I approached them and oh surprise! I had forgotten to close WhatsApp web, so they were reading every chapter of the comic mame of Arceus and Damos.

The strange thing was that when they noticed my presence they didn't notice any disturbance, only anger; because Arceus is the passive one! And from that moment on they wanted to cut off the head of the little creator star.

In short, that is it, although according to my friend they were also hurt and horrified to see Arceus less authoritarian and more "chicken-hearted"(his complaints are all contrary to those of my cousin) and make Damos and Arceus look so cute together only to end up splitting them up. Although they mainly complained about Arceus' tastes in bed, how funny and terrifying those three were to me.

A Crash Course to Kendrick's Super Bowl Performance, from a Black Woman

Note: this does NOT go in depth into all of the song's lyrics. I don't have time to recount two decades of his discography. This is just a summary of the performance itself.

Let's start with the first visual we get:

UNCLE SAM - most notably recognized from WWII American wartime propaganda, Uncle Sam is the personification of American patriotism and freedom. The term "uncle" is also evocative of Uncle Tom from Uncle Tom's Cabin, an abolitionist book that aided in inciting the Civil War. Uncle is also a very common term (both endearment and derogatory) towards Black men (eg. "unc"). Samuel L Jackson was fantastic. (Edit: and please look up his history of civil rights activism, he was on the FBI watchlist and even a pallbearer at MLKJr’s funeral.)

Uncle Sam also resembles a circus ringleader, notable for my next point:

THE GREAT AMERICAN GAME - no, not Super Bowl. The GAG is us the people being pitted against each other: through late-stage capitalism, through the culture war, through class warfare, through being built of the backs of slaves. We are all players in the GAG because none of us on this site were the oligarchs seated at the inauguration.

This is also seen as Kendrick's stage was a Play Station controller. Not only did it remind of circus rings visually, but it was a game battle stage. The Great American Game is a battle royale of the commoners for the amusement of the rich whites.

Remember the foods / Them color was tin and brown / But now they 100 and blue - For this I'll just say, look what the last election said about lowering the price of eggs... and look at the prices now.

The revolution about to be televised / You picked the right time / But the wrong guy - Election 2024 once more. *Edit to add, the first part of this lyric is in reference to the Black Liberation Song "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" by Gil Scott-Heron. Thanks to everyone who mentioned that.

THE FLAG DANCERS - yes, the dancers formed the US flag... off of the backs of Black people. Not a single white person in sight, and that's true of the cotton pickers in the fields. Plantations are part of how the US came to economic prominence after being a "backwater" colony. Remember tobacco? Cotton? Our bloodlines do. *Edit to add: they also all piled out of a clown car. The US flag in a clown car? Brilliant.

The red and blue dancers are also notable for representing the Crips and Bloods, two infamous street gangs. The dance in Not Like Us is the Crip Walk. I recommend researching more on your own time about them, but just know they are a large part of the stereotype of Black people being "ghetto."

TOO LOUD, TOO RECKLESS, TOO GHETTO. Do you really know how to play the game? - This is exactly what Black people, especially Black men, get told all the time. It's why we change our names on resumes if they sound "too Black." It's why we codeswitch in non-Black company. This is especially rich considering how non-Black people love our culture and love to make money off of us, as the latter part of the quote points to. And it's even more profound during the Super Bowl-- the NFL is majority Black players.

STREET LIGHT A CAPELLA -- "thug" stereotype dancers to counteract the a capella connotations, with Uncle Sam then saying that Kendrick figured out "bringing other street guys around being a culture cheat code." Yes, this is a direct hit at Drake (listen to "Not Like Us") but also politically. Look up "model minority". Notably I would point to Candace Owens, or the Miami Venezuelan political group that's been in the news recently, especially as this directly led to Kendrick being surrounded by...

DANCERS IN WHITE -- it's white America. That's... that's the allegory.

NOT LIKE US TEASER -- Kendrick says "Not Like Us" is "their favorite song." -> he means white people specifically here. It comes after he's surrounded by all white dancers, the women around him who are his call and response are also in white (my opinion, they represent the industry). He's saying "Not Like Us" is the favorite of yts because it is about BLACK MEN FIGHTING. This again is reflected in the video game stage and ringleader Uncle Sam.

SZA -- instead of giving what they want, we see SZA. She's one of Drake's exes and Kendrick has always supported her.

ALL THE STARS -- This was in the first Black Panther movie, which I recommend you watch. Rest in Power Chadwick. Notably, this movie was incredibly mainstream as a major Marvel movie, and then we have Uncle Sam say...

"THAT'S WHAT AMERICA WANTS: NICE AND CALM. DON'T MESS THIS UP" -- translation: Marvel (the industry, America, etc.) wanted a safe, semi-pop song because white American likes safe pop songs, not Kendrick's usual heavy rap style about his life as a Black man! Don't mess up what you've got going mainstream for having this "Black rap feud" with Drake, who is an R&B model minority to white people because he's safe.

So what does Kendrick say?

IT'S A CULTURAL DIVIDE / IMMA GET IT ON THE FLOOR -- He was warned not to be political or apologetically Black for this Super Bowl performance, but he is using this big stage opportunity to speak out.

40 ACRES AND A MULE / THIS IS BIGGER THAN THE MUSIC -- 40 acres and a mule are what the freed slaves were promised. Instead, this land went to white sharecroppers. Research Jim Crow laws.

THEY TRIED TO RIG THE GAME / BUT YOU CAN'T FAKE INFLUENCE -- rig the election, rig the industry like with model minority Drake, rig the Great American Game with culture war to distract from active class warfare.

NOT LIKE US -- the only thing I'll mention because it made me holler is Serena Williams crip walking on Drake's metaphorical grave. She's another one of his exes (read: Drake harassed the hell out of her). *Edit: she was also fined at the 2012 Olympics for crip walking in celebration at Wimbledon.

TURN THE TV OFF -- exactly like he said! The TV is a distraction, the Super Bowl is a distraction, the mainstream news is often a distraction. Turn it off and get with your people!

GAME OVER — could not see this on my stream but at the end of the performance, the lights in the stadium spelled this out. The world is watching, America…

Muy bien, paso algo en estos últimos días. Tengo un "amigo" con quien se supone me llevaba bastante bien. Un día este "amigo" a quien le diremos "H", me insistió y intento convencer de participar en un juego donde si dos personas elegían el mismo color se debían besar, yo que tengo pareja, por supuesto no acepte, pues me dio una punzada de incomodidad que incluso dijera "nadie se enterara". Bien, aquí el caso es que, yo le conté esto a mi pareja, pues me pareció un poco cómico además de que siempre le cuento situaciones así. Mi pareja junto con un/as amigo/as en común regañaron a H, no entiendo bien que le dijeron pues no me dieron explicaciones, pero según sé con un/a de ello/as término en buenos términos, mientras que con el otro, lo termino bloqueando por las cosas que dijo de las cuales no estoy enterado. Ese amigo y H eran bastante cercanos y se conocían desde hace años, mucho antes de que yo los conociera, ciertamente me sentí culpable pues no quería que se hiciera tanto por eso, pero recientemente he visto a H tener actitudes más que cariñosas y románticas con otra persona que creo no es su pareja, eso de alguna forma ha hecho que deje de sentir algo de culpa, sintiéndose que se lo merece, por que aúnque diga que solo es "juego" sé que su pareja lo considera Infelididad pues ya tuvieron una pelea antes por eso que le llevó a terminar. Aún con eso no me quiero meter, pues sigo sintiéndome mal por causar todo un alboroto antes y tal vez romper una amistad de años. Ahora mismo realmente necesito Consejos incluso si quise que este fuera un blog solitario.

¿He sido el idiota por contarle a mi pareja sobre la insistencia de H para que jugará ese juego?
