Summary:
In the distant past, the Guardian of the Milky Way galaxy named Lanancuras began to harbor a desire for more power. Because of his connection to the galaxy, he was able to absorb parts of planets and add them to his strength. As a result, he began invading the worlds he was assigned to protect. In the wake of his destruction, a following of creatures from across the galaxy pledged allegiance to Lanancuras and became known as the Kadrians. Taking notice of his ever-growing power and followers, the other Celestial Guardians confronted him; however, he had become too powerful, and they were defeated. Unable to subdue Lanancuras, the Celestial Guardians each gave up a part of their power and combined it into a single new Guardian, Mushra. In a final desperate attempt, they used Mushra's core by transforming it into a powerful card with which to seal Lanancuras in a prison. The prison was created from the remains of planets that had suffered under Lanancuras' tyranny. Because planets are themselves large beings, their combined strength (along with the power of the card) was able to restrain him. Thus Lanancuras was successfully sealed in a large meteorite.
The meteorite was sent off into the galaxy to be sealed forever. Meanwhile, the way Lanancuras had increased his strength had consequences on the planets of the Milky Way On Earth, around the 22nd century, it was in the shape of a virus that merged with human DNA and destroyed the humans that way. In order to eliminate the virus, scientists worked on combining human DNA with the DNA of animals and other creatures immune to the effects. They succeeded and created a sentient race known as Enterrans (a race of engineered Earthlings) which are based on humans, insects, reptiles, birds, sea creatures, wild beasts, and phantom beasts. Eventually, a cure was found and the human race survived.
However, due to Lanancuras' influence, the Enterrans fought their human creators as well as the robots that worked with the humans, driving the human race to a near extinction state. Luckily, a scientist named Dr. Daigo Tatsuro placed his 4-year-old daughter Yakumo in a sleep chamber in hopes that she would save the human race and find the human sanctuary Shinzo and bring peace back to Earth which was then renamed to Enterra. When the meteor that Lanancuras was imprisoned in struck Earth during the earlier parts of the Human-Enterran War, its fragment had struck an infant Yakumo giving her abilities that she would later discover.

FictionJunction Music Member News
Some fairly new and old news that some people may not know.
Yuki Kajiura is slated to work on a new Madokoa Magica anime entitled Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Gaiden. She has recently completed 18 new songs. Whether it’s for Madoka Magica or some other project is unknown. She is continuing to work on additional songs with the Front Band Members. The Composers Summit Concert featuring some of the greatest video game and anime related composers will happen on December 28. Yuki Kajiura, the Front Band Members, Konno’s strings, along with Kaori Oda, Joelle, and Yuri Kasahara will perform. She is releasing a new single with Aimer for the anime Fate Stay Night Heaven’s Feel Part II Lost Butterfly. The song title is “I Beg You.” It’s scheduled to be released on January 9th. The Flying Dog anniversary event will happen on February 2nd featuring FictionJunction Yuuka. On the February 3rd, 17th, and 23rd are new FictionJunction Station Fan Talk Events. On April 24th Sword Art Online Alicization OST will be release with the second OST being released on July 24th. She will be featured in this month’s Lisani! volume 35 and has done two online interviews you can find here: https://www.famitsu.com/news/201811/16167737.html https://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201811160073/
Kaori Oda has announced on Twitter she is currently in the studio working on a new album. She has also announced a small acoustic tour around March of next year, which will be Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. In May she intends to go on another tour. In late October she released a single with Mao. The song is called “Can’t Stop Love,” for the visual novel More Love. She will also in the concert event The Score Re;fire #1 ~WILD ARMS Vocal Songs Concert~ scheduled for December 15th. Lastly she will also be at the Yucat x Eggman: Diva 3Man volume 6 on January 21st. In more personal news she revealed she celebrated Yuriko Kaida’s birthday with Yuki Kajiura (no mention of Keiko, but a good chance she was there considering how much she loves Yuriko), and had drinks with Joelle and Yuki. You can see that post here: https://lineblog.me/odakaori/archives/13206078.html She also went to see Shinji Kakijima’s 25th Anniversary Live and had her picture taken with him late last month. She also got a haircut (nothing particularly drastic). Traditionally haircuts symbolize change and a break with the past, which considering her break with Spacecraft feels rather fitting. She also just got her nails done in a pale pink.
Koichi Korenaga is extremely busy! In late October to November 1st, Jungapop (which also has Jr.) did a small tour. This was for a newly released anniversary album 20+1. They also recorded some new songs in September. On November 10th he did a seminar on music equipment. He performed alongside Jr. for his solo 50th Anniversary on November 16th. On November 23rd, he’s performing with others at the Rock ‘n Roll Yokohama Club. He has three tour dates for Crystal Kay for December 2nd, 3rd, and 6th. He is performing for NOKKO on December 19th and 25th (his birthday). He also is performing for Ami Ozaki on December 14th, 17th, and 24th. In his personal life, he had corrective eye surgery early this year, has been having physical therapy on his shoulders and arms (from his long guitar playing), and just celebrated his mother’s birth or death anniversary. The photo contained flowers and a cross necklace with Jesus hanging on it on a decorative cross. He states something along the line that he knows she’s in heaven as she was a good Christian. He also went to see the new movie about the rock band Queen.
Tomoharu Jr. Takahashi just performed his special solo 50th Anniversary for his 50th birthday on November 16th. This also included his Jungapop friends including Koichi Korenaga. In addition, he just released his first solo album.
Joelle has some concert dates lined up. She performed on November 9th and on October 21st. She has two more scheduled, one for December 19th and another for December 22nd. Some of these have her good friend George Nagata. She also just performed at 5:00AM for a local television station in her hometown of Akita. It was also her birthday in late October.
Yuriko Kaida released an EP called Portia earlier this year. She also went on vacation to Hanoi, Vietnam back in September with a close friend.
Remi and Koichi Korenaga worked on some songs for the anime Non Non Biyori Vacation. It seems she also worked on Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Soundtrack 2 released on November 7th. She seems to have been doing a lot of recording this year.
Rie Akagi has a Latin jazz concert trio scheduled for November 30th. She also responded to Hikaru’s twitter post on her eating rice.
Eri Itou performed in a musical called Musical Award that went from October 31st to November 4th. She is also in a Christmas album that was released on November 14th. It was her birthday on November 16th.
Drummer Kyoichi Satou and keyboardist Hirotaka Sakurada will do a concert with others on January 22nd.
Hiroshi Konno has been recording and performing at various places with his strings unit. Much of the recording is likely for Yuki Kajiura. He also received Jr.’s album and a shirt.

songs sung by beyblade VAs #2
a couple of people were interested in another post with songs by beyblade seiyuu... well alright, this comes with the fact that in addition to the main five, there's a small handful of big name seiyuu in bakuten shoot who have done a lot of everything and the rest have done pretty much nothing, so, this is a very mixed bag. and a bit too many of these are hetalia songs because i just actually really like hetalia music ok
# a link to the previous post if you missed it #
i put these in alpahbetical order according to character names so you can easily just check whoever you want. or whatever. do what you want with these
hiroshi kamiya (blood & garland):
lost in shinsekai (one piece)
dark side of the moon (shingeki no kyojin)
wasabi mizuta (boris):
yume wo kikasete (doraemon) -- i.... i couldn't find anything but doraemon songs by her.......... so this is how life is now
souichirou hoshi (brooklyn):
I can fly (saiyuuki) -- this was like my favourite song 13 years ago? i’m having such a throwback compiling this post
ima kono shunkan ga subete (gundam seed)
akira sasanuma (claude):
marukaite chikyuu: austria edition (axis powers hetalia) -- not very surprised this is the only thing i could find
yasuhiro takato (dunga):
pechka -kokoro tomoshite- (axis powers hetalia) -- also didn't expect to find anything but russia's songs. and i didn’t. russia it is
daisuke sakaguchi (giancarlo):
update go-issho ni (hyouka) -- with satomi satou
back to back (dynasty warriors)
shiho kikuchi (hiromi):
spring dream (tokimeki memorial)
imitation (memories off 2nd)
daisuke namikawa (hitoshi):
tales of hermit (K project)
oishii tomato no uta (axis powers hetalia) -- we are dying on this hill now guys
emi shinohara (judy on season 1):
starlight ni kiss shite (sailor moon)
hitomi wo wasurenaide (lupin III)
yumi touma (judy on seasons 2 & 3):
kiss shite ii (angelique)
my heart iidasenai, your heart tashikametai (aa! megamisama) -- with kikuko inoue & aya hisakawa. i apparently love hisakawa too much and can’t make a list without her in there somewhere
kumiko watanabe (julia):
love drug (tekkaman blade II)
say yes! (digimon frontier)
junko shimakata (kiki):
kimi no ouen uta (sotsugyou -graduation-)
hirofumi nojima (king):
shitsuren samba (toradora!) -- this one is on soundcloud because i hunted for this specifically on youtube for ages and it was nowhere. the volume is ridiculously high for some reason
ki ta ko re (kuroko no basket)
hiromi konno (mathilda):
nade nade shite (gegege no kitarou)
hakase no same to inu (nichijou)
kappei yamaguchi (michael):
it's a show time (magic kaito 1412) -- with mamoru miyano
tenka muteki no yattarou (samurai pizza cats) -- some other familiar voice is in there in the beginning too. what a coincidence. misi what a coincidence of you again
hiro yuuki (mihael):
brain damage (weiß kreuz) -- i know this guy has sung a lot of stuff including lots for weiß kreuz and i love his voice but the title of this one describes my mood when i tried to find any GOOD songs
aya hirano (ming-ming):
god knows (the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya)
cha-la head cha-la (dragon ball z featured in lucky star) -- it's just so beautiful.
kouki miyata (mystel):
akogare starting block (free!)
yuukyuu no tsuki (kyou kara maou!)
omi minami (olivier):
in the stillness (kidou senkan nadesico)
born to be queen (code geass) -- with junko minagawa
yuki kaida (ozma):
ni hao chuugoku (axis powers hetalia)
koko de bokura wa deatte shimatta (prince of tennis) -- with ryoutarou okiayu
mie sonozaki (queen):
whiteout (bleach)
yakusoku (growlanser)
kouichi nagano (rai):
run to win (eyeshield 21) -- with aya hirano, miyu irino and kappei yamaguchi, technically nagano is the only one whose voice you can't hear worth shit tbh (i assume he can't really sing. he's just there to be like a B voice in the bg) but i've always liked this cute song plus it's like ming-ming and michael singing with rai pushed flat against the wall somewhere behind them so here it is anyway
akiko kimura (raul & yuuya):
yasashii mirai (inazuma eleven chrono stone) -- with aoi yuuki
hikaru ikeda (salima):
katakoi (yakin byoutou) -- apparently this song is from a porn that's regarded as the most brutally graphic hentai to ever exist? sounds good
tomokazu sugita (sergei):
SM hantei forum (inu x boku SS)
one jump ahead (aladdin)
kenichi suzumura (steve):
oreta tsubasa de -with broken wings- (digimon frontier) -- i was getting tired at this point and steve is a very minor character with a very major seiyuu for whatever reason and i didn't even feel like browsing suzumura's discography for this purpose so i just put my boy kouichi's amazing song here and called it a day. the best digimon character song to existtt
takehito koyasu (volkov):
dengon (fushigi yuugi)
hyakumankai no je t'aime (rosario + vampire) -- the difference in mood between these two songs was too much for me. good thing this is the end of the list

Takashi Miike’s bracingly unpleasant Imprint originally aired as the 13th episode of the 2006 TV series Masters of Horror. Or it did if you were in the UK, catching it on the Bravo Channel. If you were in America then Showtime shelved it because America is the Land of the Free, but only in certain circumstances. Concerns were raised, apparently, regarding the level of unpleasantness within it, but Imprint was later released on DVD; because making money means qualms get crushed. Which is apt since some of what Imprint is about (and Imprint is about a lot of things) is commodification, particularly the commodification of the human body. Which is why there are more whores in the cast list than in the last six Frank Miller comics. Imprint is also about insanity, and if you want to make connections between commodification, money as power, and the inevitable usurping of humanity by appetite climaxing in insanity, well, I won’t stand in your way. Heavy themes. Heavy stuff. It’s also entertainingly batshit in that magical and uniquely Takashi Miike fashion.
Imprint is set in 19th Century Japan, when gaijin knocking about the place were still a novelty. (Japan’s 200 year isolation had ended in 1853, when the namesake of Friends star Matthew Perry sailed 4 ships into Tokyo Bay.) Maybe we still are a novelty; we are quite funny looking. Anyway, fresh from the wild west and its enthusiastic ethnic cleansing of the native Americans, Christopher (Billy Drago), an American journalist with a penchant for histrionics, is searching for Komomo (Michié), a whore he promised to return and free. Which is mighty big of him. Along with a bunch of filthy labourers Christopher alights on an island populated by whores and whoremasters; you don’t go looking for a lovelorn Japanese whore in a Swedish furniture warehouse after all. A tiny tout with a delightfully syphilitic nostril claims Komomo never came this way, and convinces Christopher to pick a whore and stay the night. Christopher does so, selecting a distinctively faced lady of the night, The Woman(Yûki Kudô), to ply him with saki. The Woman turns out to know all about Komomo (apparently you can’t trust touts with syphilitic nostrils on an island of whores; who knew?) Through a long dark night of saki and stories, Christopher learns the fate of his procured paramour. Stories within stories, lies within lies; unfolding like the dark petals of that most poisonous flower – truth. Like life, Imprint ends badly for everyone involved.
Apparently unforgivably for a horror movie (since it was pulled from broadcast) Imprint is, really, really horrible. Horrific in fact. There’s really no ifs or buts about that. Imprint is definitely Ugh City. Mind you, I’m not sure what Masters of Horror were expecting when they let Takashi Miike sink his teeth into the horror genre. They were expecting horror, but not too much horror, I guess. Masters of a Certain Amount of Horror But Nothing Too Horrible doesn’t really have the same ring though. Also, Imprint is really, really horrible. Did I mention that? There is a danger of overselling it, resulting in the defensively adolescent approach of “Huh! It wasn’t that bad. Pfft!”, like actually being affected by the horror in a horror movie is some kind of failing or weakness, instead of being the whole point. Personally I enjoyed the implacable ratcheting up of the horror, my reactions were kind of along the lines of - “Oh, that’s okay.”, “This isn’t too bad.” , “Whoa, that’s harsh.” , “Hey now, hang on.”, “No. Don’t.” and ending with everyone’s favourite - “STOP IT! I WANT TO GET OFF! MAKE IT GO AWAY!” As horror goes, Imprint is the hard stuff. If Imprint doesn’t make you squirm it’s because a) you’re lying or b) you’re dead.
Imprint is an ugly watch but it isn’t just ugliness for ugliness’s sake. Imprint has more about it than that; it’s ugly because it’s about ugliness, it’s just not shy about it. There’s a lot of physical ugliness on show from the initial syphilitic nostril to the scrunched up face of Christopher’s spooky Scheherazade; from the plethora of aborted foetuses to the extended torture of a woman more sinned against than sinning. But that’s the surface stuff, in Imprint the ugliness runs deep. The ugliness in Imprint isn’t just skin deep; the physical ugliness is merely a symptom of the psychological ugliness. Cages of women imploring filthy labourers to rut them up for money, the sadism of the brothel madame’s regime, the victimisation of the weakest among the whores, the nonchalant abortions, brother-sister incest, father-daughter incest, patricide, infanticide and…whatever you call palming your kid off on a pimp dressed like Willy Wonka; it’s all here and more besides! Ugly stuff because it’s an ugly world. Sure the ugliness is somewhat souped-up (it’s a horror movie!) but Imprint gets closer to representing the truth of the brutal world of our ancestors than most straight entertainment. Life was cheap as chips and kids were a burden, and not too long ago at that.
The most bizarre thing about Imprint (and that’s saying something; I’ve not even hinted at the pinnacle of the freakery within (hoo boy!)) is how visually gorgeous it is. Takashi Miike churns movies out, and sometimes, well, a bit more finish might have been desirable. But with Imprint there are no such reservations; it’s fantastic stuff. Rich with cultural signifiers I am too bovine to plumb, no doubt; but even I can bask in the visual sumptuousness on display. And for all its knowing excess Imprint is subtler stuff than you might think; the chill when the meaning of the toy windmills strikes home is a showstopper. Basically, Imprint is the real deal horror wise and well worth seeking out.

[Ramble about the new year, my birthday approaching, anime this year, and my plans for future songs... kinda?]
----------
It's a little late, but HAPPY NEW YEAR! We all survived the holidays! I personally had a very rough time with all the parties and awkward interactions. Now that it's over, my mom's birthday has passed, and now we can get started planning the real stuff. My birthday is at the end of the month! January 28th. Mark your calendars! International Dino Day is just around the corner! Time zones are a hassle, but Hiroshi Kamiya is one of the most famous Japanese voice actors out of there, and he shares a birthday with me! How cool is that?
I really liked this anime! It was one of my favourites from last season and one of my top anime of the year! I originally watched it because I heard how strange it was with its premise and Mamoru Miyano's crazy acting as Kotaro. Speaking of Kotaro, some people found him annoying, but I liked him! He was a highlight of the show.
And about Lily being a transgender girl, I don't think it's a spoiler anymore over how much buzz it has gotten. It was overshadowed by G****n S****r (I watched that anime and hated it a lot). Anyways, let's respect Lily. She's valid, and the show makes a point of that in both English and Japanese. My favourite girl (excluding the LEGENDARY TAE YAMADA) is probably Saki. She got the best episode, and I liked every moment of it. It was one of my favourites.
On my Tumblr, I wrote my favourites from this year (I haven't finished all of them!): Hataraku Saibou, SSSS.GRIDMAN, Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san, Violet Evergarden, Wotakoi, Hinamatsuri, Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai, and Zombieland Saga.
But I haven't watched: Planet With, Sora Yori mo Tooi Basho, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san, Megalo Box, Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, Yuru Camp△, Golden Kamuy, and Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara.
I am sure I'm missing a few, but those are the ones from my list for now.
----------
I have a Synthesia video for this as well that I want to get uploaded eventually. It's better aesthetically, isn't it?
I'm not sure if I want to make a full version, but I am open to the idea. I don't know what I want to work on next! It's tough to decide... I also start a lot of things I never finish...
*As usual, sheets will be linked if anyone wants them.* I have this written as a piano duet, but it can easily be a solo piano piece if you take out the second piano. And again, if you want it simplified, just ask! I might ask for a reference piece that you can play in return just to see what level it's at. I am not a very good piano player though. I am also open to other instruments as well. This was originally written for brass and woodwind band!

1: How did you get into Otome Games? I started playing things like ren ai, princess maker 2, Wonder Project J as a kid so I was interested in that kind of visual novel / relationship building games already. I tried playing the Angelique snes too but my japanese wasn’t so great back then…
My first official otome game was the english version of Yo Jin Bo, and uhh, the quality of it was… lol… but the game is pretty fun and it did get me motivated to seek out more otome games and that was the time I started learning basic Japanese so I played more on the DS (TMGS 1&2, Hakuouki, Vitamin X, etc.) and it grew from there. \(^o^)/
4: What game or game series makes you the most hyped? I don’t have any specific games I’m hyped about. I think I’m most hyped about Rejet games, because they match my tastes & sense of humor. So I usually check their games out first. Other than that, I usually go by art style, video previews and then check their website. I usually go for the genres I enjoy and if I like the majority of the characters.
9: What kind of themes do you like? Demon/Animal boys, historical settings, dark stories, family drama (+bromance), childhood friends, ドM boys, and/or comedy. and also maybe some of the yandere boys
16: Do you have a favorite Ending? One of my favorites was from Hoshino Kanata in Glass Heart Princess. He’s an android created by aliens to report about Earth. When Kyoko’s heart fails (due to her heart condition), he gives her his second robotic heart. However, he needs two hearts to function properly so they decide to go to Area 51 to contact the aliens and eventually the aliens picked him up. When he comes back, he received more human-like qualities and, of course, they live happily ever after. It’s hard to tell by my short summary but his route is very cute and sweet.
18: Who are your top 5 favorite Main characters? I’m assuming this question is for the male main characters, and I have so many favorites (including the heroines), but currently these are the ones I’ve personally would call husbando material. Please excuse my tastes ^^;
Hiroshi Miyanomori (Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku)
Mimasaka Toma (Klap!! Kind Love and Punish)
Asahina Tenma (Glass Heart Princess)
Konno Tamao (Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 3)
Himuro Kira (Lagrange Point/Pythagoras Productions)
30: Describe your ideal Otome Game? I guess something that includes funny, action/conflict, passionate emotions, character development and, most importantly, character interaction. I really like it when the writers incorporate all/most of the characters into each route’s story. I enjoy knowing all sides of each character, their personalities and their relationships with one another.
