DAY 5605
Jalsa, Mumbai                   June 22,  2023                   Thu 11:25 PM
🪔 .. June 23 .. birthday greetings to Ef Anish Morarji Tataria .. yo from your Ef Family 😁✌🏽 ..
And .. to dear Ef Moses Sapir .. your wedding anniversary on June 23 .. our good wishes always ..
Birthday - EF - Anish Morarji Tataria Friday, 23 June .. and our wishes for this special day of yours .. love from the Ef family ..
Does it dawn .. dawn in the recognised morn of the day .. the day doth announce its presence .. or about its presence .. and the World of writing and writers hurriedly adopts the ‘dawn’ to their world ..
‘ it be the dawn of a new world’ ..  they say .. or words to that effect .. effective , poetic and composite .. whether the dawn turns to the sun lit day or not irrespective .. or sets into another quiet unknown night for another dawn to re appear ..
amusingly , when the film ‘DON’ was announced with me .. many in the world of Hindi cinema were quite unaware of the word don ..
what they were familiar with was a product known as DAWN .. the  DAWN banyaan .. vests ..
And the market was very skeptical and annoyed with the makers as to why a film title should be about undergarments .. !!
many still are .. 🤣
... but on another note .. Ef remembers Babuji and his translated auto biography and puts it all down .. I feel it deserves mention here :
And .. before Music Day ends .. I feel having the honor of sharing few words from Babuji about his journey with music from his autobiography .. but , then , indeed , every day is music day .. love .. ❤️🙏🏻
Quoting babuji : 🙏🏻
“ [...] ..
Pratap Narayan [my Father] was duly betrothed to the daughter of Munshi Ishwari Prasad, a resident of Katra Mohalla in Allahabad. Her name was Sursati, and she was to become my Mother. The name 'Sursati' is clearly derived from 'Saraswati', and when I felt the first stirrings of a desire to be a poet or writer, I derived much self-confidence from the fact that I was the son of the goddess of learning and of art and music.
[And in mentioning music] ..
Professor Khushhalkar, was our music teacher, he was a Maharashtrian and a pupil of Pandit V.D. Pulaskar. His Hindi was of the Bombay variety, but when he taught us devotional songs, his pronunciation of every syllable was crystal-clear; he would make us do voice practice to the harmonium, then teach us bhajans such as Tulsi's Gaiye Ganapati Jagabandara, which I can still sing from memory today. He also showed us how to sing while picking out the notes on the harmonium: he would pump the bellows with one hand while the fingers of the other would run lightly over the keys, his own voice blending with that of the instrument in such a way as to achieve a sublime harmony of the inanimate with the animate: evoking a tingling emotional response. Professor Khushhalkar sowed the seeds of music in me, but regrettably I was never able to grow the plant that should have sprung from them. Still, my slight study of music was helpful in the reciting of poetry, and a little knowledge of tala helped me compose songs in the folk genre. I can also tap out a rhythm on a drum, but that was learnt from my mother and sisters. ” ~
Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan's Autobiography: In The Afternoon Of Time .. Chapter: Things to Forget, Things to Remember .. Pages: 56, 112 ..
.. and in time .. hopefully there shall an introduction to the music that this untrained novice who has had no musical training at all .. just been in the company of listening and present to the sounds of music that has remained with me .. and the legacy of Babuji , if nothing else shall prevail .. yet again ..
In quiet love and affection to the Ef ..

IT!loser reader/rich reader learning Sarabis native language to write and recite him poetry (reader has a thick accent and stutters around a lot but he's trying)
reader learning Stones native language to compliment him in and learning a song to serenade him with
reader learning your ocs native languages to recite their vows in it when they get married
I think if Reader learned Hindi for Kali, Stone, & Sarabi or also Russian for Sarabi, they'd love it. Stone and Sarabi would love it the most since they both mostly spoke only their native languages when growing up due to being home-schooled (Sarabi's case) or isolated during childhood (Stone's case). Stone actually has moments where he'll only speak in Hindi, but I personally can't speak it (my father was supposed to teach me and my sisters, but he never did) and I didn't feel comfortable using google translate cause I knew that can be wrong.
But again, they'd all love it. They'd tear up at the altar if they heard Reader speaking their native languages to recite their vows. Kali would bawl his eyes out for sure. Sarabi too would also cry, Stone's eyes would just tear up.

Dast-e-talab | rohaniat ka safar | Journey to spirituality | Urdu poetry with roman translation |
Spiritual Urdu poetry with Roman Translation for Urdu and Hindi readers. In the days of my youth, I went through some such circumstances that my thoughts turned towards the pure being of Allah. In the beginning, I had to deal with the states of faith and disbelief at times. Since then, I had started writing my emotions and states in the form of verses and poems. But except for a few close friends, I never tried to recite my poetry in poetry gatherings or publish it. But after retirement, now on the insistence of my dear wife, I am taking the courage to present to the readers a part of my writings written during the period of about thirty years of my life. This poetic material of mine is a portrayal in the form of verses of a continuous journey of my life where a person travels in the world of Sufism riding on the chariot of emotions of desires, happiness, sadness, peace, love, pain and suffering, supplication and demand and writes down the unseen states and effects.I hope that these writings of mine will not only be interesting for the readers but will also be a means of learning and understanding something new along with the journey of the world of Sufism and the encouragement of the readers will give me the courage to publish the second part of my writings which is the material beyond these writings.

🔰Investiture Ceremony 2024-2025: A Celebration of Leadership and Patriotism
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2024-2025 was held today, marking a momentous occasion in the school calendar. This event, which coincided with the Independence Day celebrations, was a true testament to the spirit of leadership and patriotism that defines our institution.
The cultural program celebrating Independence Day was a vibrant display of talent and national pride. It began with a moving poetry recitation by our esteemed teacher, Mrs. Sara, setting a patriotic tone for the event. This was followed by the Nanhe Munhe Rahi dance, a touching portrayal of innocence and hope. The English skit, Wings of Will, captivated the audience with its inspiring message, while the tricolor patriotic dance stirred emotions of national pride. The program concluded with a powerful Hindi skit on the Quit India Movement, performed by our primary and high school students, reminding everyone of the sacrifices that have shaped our nation's history.
The Investiture Ceremony itself was a grand affair, starting with a disciplined march past. The procession was led by the Head Boy and Head Girl, followed by the captains and vice-captains of various houses—Asad, Uhud, Badr, Hunayn, and Khaybar—as well as the Discipline and Environment captains. The sight of these young leaders, marching with pride and purpose, was truly inspiring.
Our newly elected captains were formally invested with their responsibilities as they were pinned with badges and sashes by our distinguished Chief Guest, Mrs. Nasima Mirza, mother of the renowned tennis player Sania Mirza, and our Guest of Honour, Mrs. Vani Sudam. The solemn oath-taking ceremony that followed was a powerful reminder of the responsibilities that come with leadership. Our school leaders pledged to uphold the values of integrity, accountability, and service to the school community.
The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of our Director, Mrs. Farhana Khan, who felicitated the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. Their words of wisdom and encouragement resonated deeply with everyone present, leaving a lasting impact on our staff, parents, and students.
As the ceremony concluded, a sense of pride and optimism filled the air. The Investiture Ceremony 2024-2025 was not just a formal event; it was a celebration of leadership, responsibility, and the enduring spirit of patriotism. Congratulations to the newly appointed School Cabinet of 2024-2025. May they rise to the challenges of leadership and strive to achieve extraordinary things in the year ahead.

Hanuman Chalisa: A Chant for Strength, Protection, and Inner Peace
The Hanuman Chalisa, a revered devotional hymn dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god in Hinduism, is more than just a beautiful piece of poetry. It's a powerful chant that has been recited for centuries, offering devotees strength, protection, and a path to inner peace.
Unveiling the Power of the Chalisa
The Chalisa, composed by Tulsidas, a 16th-century poet-saint, narrates the glorious life and deeds of Hanuman. Each of the 40 verses (chaupais) within the Chalisa celebrates a different aspect of Hanuman's character and his unwavering devotion to Lord Rama.
As devotees chant the Chalisa, they connect with the immense strength, courage, and unwavering faith embodied by Hanuman.  This connection empowers them to face their own challenges with greater determination and fosters a sense of inner peace.
Benefits of Chanting the Hanuman Chalisa
Here are some of the reasons why devotees turn to the Hanuman Chalisa:
Strength and Courage: Hanuman is renowned for his immense physical and mental strength. Chanting the Chalisa is believed to invoke these qualities within the devotee, helping them overcome obstacles and face challenges with greater confidence.
Protection from Evil:  Hanuman is revered as a protector from evil forces.  Chanting the Chalisa is believed to offer devotees protection from negative energies and harmful influences.
Inner Peace:  The repetitive chanting of the Chalisa has a calming effect on the mind. It allows devotees to focus their thoughts and find a sense of inner peace amidst the chaos of daily life.
Devotion and Focus:  Focusing on the story of Hanuman's unwavering devotion to Rama can inspire devotees to cultivate similar dedication in their own lives, be it towards their goals, relationships, or spiritual pursuits.
How to Chant the Hanuman Chalisa
The beauty of the Hanuman Chalisa lies in its simplicity.  Here's how you can incorporate it into your daily practice:
Find a quiet space: Choose a clean and peaceful environment where you can focus on the chant without distractions.
Light a diya (oil lamp) or incense: This is considered auspicious and creates a sacred space for your chanting.
Focus your intention:  Before you begin, take a moment to set your intention. What are you hoping to gain from chanting the Chalisa? Strength, protection, or simply a moment of peace?
Start Chanting:  There are many recordings of the Hanuman Chalisa available online. You can choose to listen along or chant on your own.
Maintain focus:  As you chant, focus on the meaning of the verses and allow yourself to connect with the energy of Hanuman.
Beyond the Chanting: Embodying Hanuman's Spirit
While chanting the Chalisa offers numerous benefits, the true essence of Hanuman's teachings lies in embodying his spirit.  Here are some ways to integrate his values into your daily life:
Develop unwavering loyalty:  Just like Hanuman's devotion to Rama, cultivate unwavering loyalty in your relationships.
Face challenges with courage:  Draw strength from Hanuman's bravery and face your own challenges with determination.
Practice humility:  Despite his immense power, Hanuman remained humble. Integrate this quality into your life and treat others with respect.
Serve selflessly:  Like Hanuman's selfless service to Rama, find ways to serve others and contribute to the well-being of those around you.
Conclusion
The Hanuman Chalisa is a powerful tool that can empower you on your journey towards strength, protection, and inner peace. However, the true essence of Hanuman's legacy lies in the values he embodies. By incorporating his unwavering devotion, immense courage, and selfless spirit into your life, you can navigate your own path with greater purpose and meaning. You may also share Hanuman Quotes in Hindi to celebrate the Hanuman spirituality.

A few days ago, I signed up for a school event where you're supposed to perform a song or recite original poetry. But because I was absent from school and travelling with my family, I wasn't able to perform it and share my poetry to the world. I felt it was a waste to leave my poems silenced in this way, so now, I shall free it, both the original English version and the Filipino version.
(English Ver.)
The Ruins
I still find the ruins of our love
What used to be an elaborate castle
Reduced to rubble and ash
I find pieces of debris
Between lyrics of songs
In the pages of my books
Infused in the ink that marked my notebooks
Our history written in poems, an ancient epic
And no amount of revisiting will bring it back
Nothing can rebuild something so beautiful
But even if I burn the books
Even if I rip the pages out of my diary
Even if I destroy the libaries to bury the memory of you
Nothing can really eradicate what's left of our encounter
~
(Filipino Ver.)
Guho
