Well, I did it. Posted my first "archived" fic to AO3. Since... I suppose it was alredy "formatted" (I downloaded a back up coming from ff.net), editing it wasn't difficult :)

I remember posting a ff.net link back in the day (2013-ish), but, yeah.

Fic is in Spanish, my writing there does not reflect my actual writing abilities (nor editing... this looks more like "this is how English writing/editing looks like, but...) in the 2020s, etc. etc.

Compared to its ff.net's original upload, I did change/edit the notes at the start and at the end, giving it's an "archived" fic and I basically dropped the "disclaimer" and some other explanations that I feel are not worth to keep forward in 2024 due to the availability of the Medarot anime subs (either official or unofficial - I know Discotek's BD set is getting OOP soon, but I don't have the mind to spend 60 USD on it, despite the fact of "owning" it while I have other "priorities" on mind 🫠🫠).

For example, I edited the reason of why I wrote it at the time (part being tired of the angsty fanon around Hikaru that was within the fanfics in ff.net the decade prior I uploaded this there... but it also made me realize that "HUH, I like this kind of characters who supress their actual feelings around a situation, even though they look 'optimistic' or 'happy', do I?" since there have been others and even OCs that share something of that "hiding trauma over their joyous appearance" attribute).

Also, also, did you know that one of my original ideas about this fic was to use it as part of the canon of a canon compliant, part-fanon project I was writing back in the day? However, College and change of interests (and fandoms) from that moment forward never gave me the time to continue and, tbh? I think it's for the best, lmao (if not, I feel I couldn't be working on other ideas for fics or my current original project).

I posted a cover here that I did ages ago, as well, but I dunno if linking it back to Tumblr or actually putting it in the AO3 fic itself. What should I do, lol?
