The balmy summer air was not making it any easier to stop yourself from peering stealthily at Chan in the driver’s seat of your rental convertible, wearing a casual outfit of a half-buttoned linen shirt and swimming trunks. He was drumming his fingers on the steering wheel to the music playing from the speakers as the car slowly moved up to the north side of Jeju Island.

You had made plans a long time ago to spend a weekend away together, and given Chan’s love for the ocean, you had agreed to go for a beach trip. So you found yourself parking right by Hamdeok Beach, which was proving to meet your (high) expectations – clear water, blue skies, small waves brushing up against the shore. It was stunning.

Before you had taken it all in properly, Chan had already set up a parasol and was currently fighting to put down a large beach towel against the wind. You rushed over to help him with the towel and looked for your phone to take some pictures.

After a few obligatory landscape photos, Chan came up behind you and offered to take some of you (“to send to your mom, she kept saying the other week you aren’t getting enough sun”). He was grinning behind the phone camera as you posed in a flowy sundress, squinting slightly in the bright light.

“Looking great, angel,” he called, and you walked back to him, your flip flops digging up the fine sand with each step.

“Don’t you want to take some with your phone as well?,” you asked, smiling at the photos Chan had taken. He was a pretty gifted photographer, but the scenery was definitely adding to the pictures.

“I’m alright, I don’t have my phone on me, actually,” he said, already digging for sunscreen in your bag.

You frowned, surprised. Chan was usually the first to admit he was a workaholic and it was pretty rare for him to be anywhere without his phone, if not an entire travel-friendly recording setup. “Really? You left it at home? What if there’s an --”

“I’ve left Changbin and the staff with very clear instructions that I won’t be reachable for any reason this weekend,” he interrupted you lightly, sunscreen now in hand. “They can handle it.”

You joined him underneath the parasol, feeling rather touched. “And you’re fine with that?” you asked softly. “I mean, I really appreciate it, but I don’t want you to feel restless or uncomfortable or something while we’re here.”

He seated himself a little closer to you, shaking his head, though there was no heat behind it. “Please, (Y/N), I’m more than fine with it. I’m very thankful to have this time with you and want to enjoy it as much as I can before we go back on Sunday,” he said, gently pushing some of your hair out of your face. “Now, let’s get some sun protection on that cute face of yours before we both burn to a crisp.”

You sighed, hanging up the call.

Today was not your day.

You had gotten a run in your tights on your way to work basically as soon as you stepped out of the subway, spent all morning in back-to-back meetings that should have been emails, and had been forced to skip your lunch break to rectify a mistake a coworker had made in a report you were signing off on. And now, you had found out right before you were about to head home that you were missing signatures on an important budget proposal.

Normally you wouldn’t really mind too much, but you wanted to leave early today since you were supposed to meet up with Minho right after work. You anxiously eyed the clock as you waited for the necessary emails to come in.

By the time you wrapped up for the day, you had already sent an apologetic running-late-text to Minho and scored another run in your tights as you speed-walked through the subway station.

As soon as you walked into the hallway of your apartment building, you heard music playing faintly – it seemed like it was coming from behind your door. You were supposed to meet up at Minho’s place and go out for dinner, but you figured you had enough time to at least touch up your makeup and find some new tights to wear. Maybe he had gotten impatient in the extra time you had taken.

You unlocked the door and stopped in your tracks. Not only were you right – Minho was standing in the kitchen, back turned towards you – but he had probably arrived at your apartment before you had even sent your last text. He was in the middle of stirring a pot, a cutting board with chopped green onions beside him. The smell of seafood stew was immediate and comforting.

“Minho, you’re here? I thought you wanted to go out?” you asked, kicking off your heels and leaning over to him by the stove, kissing him on the cheek.

He turned to kiss you properly, murmuring a greeting, and raised an eyebrow at you. “I figured you probably weren’t feeling up for heading out again when you told me earlier about the day you were having. So I thought we would do dinner here instead.”

Your heart ached with affection, not only at the thoughtfulness, but also at the familiarity he showed with your living space – he knew where you kept your vegetable peeler, where the clean dish towels were. “You know me too well, you know.”

He smirked. “It’s part of my job description. Go get changed, dinner’s almost ready.”

Soon enough, you were sitting at your dinner table in sweatpants, one leg tucked under your body as you took a careful bite of the piping hot stew. You let out an appreciative noise; Minho knew exactly how spicy you liked your food.

With him sitting across from you barefaced in a T-shirt, you knew then that no restaurant could really come close to replicating this feeling of home.

People would have to pay you a considerable amount of money to go the gym with Changbin. You didn’t hate working out, and you certainly didn’t hate spending time with your boyfriend. However, as you explained to him, it was healthy and more sustainable for couples to do some activities separately, and you were happy to try out the odd group class on your own from time to time. It was also, as you muttered, really hard to stay focused on your own exercises when Changbin was working out within your immediate vicinity while wearing a compression shirt. This explanation usually satisfied him, you found, a wicked little smile appearing on his face.

One part of his routine that you would more readily agree to was visiting a sauna afterwards. Changbin usually made a wise comment about the importance of recovery here, but you did not need much convincing to get a massage or soak in a near-boiling pool for a while.

Today was one of those days; Changbin had picked you up from work and you had gone to a spa you both liked together. You were happily submerging yourself in the hot water, steam rising in the darkening sky. Changbin also sank in the water next to you, squeaking at the difference in temperature from the cool outside air.

“How was your day, baby?,” you asked, sidling up to him.

He closed his eyes, leaning his head back. “Good. Busy, though. Didn’t have time to text you,” he said, pouting.

You laughed and splashed some water on him. “Don’t be stupid. I won’t wilt like a dying flower without it. I’m happy to see you now,” you smiled.

Some of the cloudiness remained in his face, and you moved to gently push at the tense muscles in his shoulders. “I don’t want you to feel like I don’t have time for you. Like you’re not as important as other parts of my life,” he said quietly.

You moved away from the seating edge of the pool and got in front of him, both of you up to your shoulders in the water.

Looking at him more seriously now, you said: “Bin, if I do somehow ever end up feeling like that, I will tell you. I trust you to do the same. I think you’re being too hard on yourself right now.”

A smile came back to Changbin’s face as he pulled you back to him, back to his firm chest. He placed a kiss on the top of your head. “Thank you, sweetheart,” he muttered. “And thank you for coming here with me.”

“You say that like it’s a sacrifice on my end,” you shot back.

He laughed, and you felt it reverberate in you against your back, a sound of not just amusement, but real tenderness.

Sometimes, you weren't sure how this had ended up being your life.

You were waiting for Hyunjin to finish up in the enormous bathroom in your suite at the Relais Christine, it being your final day in Paris to accompany him to a Cartier shoot on location. Although the trip had been amazing – great food, the weather had been cold but sunny, you’d convinced Hyunjin to ask the brand reps for an extra set of PR goodies for you to steal – you were both tired, worn out from the packed schedule.

Today was your last day in Paris, though; you were catching a flight so early tomorrow morning that it should be illegal. You had been racking your brain for something to do together, a museum he had not been to yet, a gallery that he wouldn’t already know. Would he think it’s corny to go on one of those boat tours?

You shook your head to yourself, starting to pack a few essentials to take on your outing. Before long, Hyunjin emerged from the bathroom, free of make-up but looking as statuesque as he had during the shoot, and he seemed excited for a last outing. “You ready for a last hurrah, baby?” he said, grinning widely.

It was a nice day to be out, at least, you thought as you walked to Montmartre together. It was incredibly busy, and you stuck close to Hyunjin, his face half-covered by a (hilariously) large pair of sunglasses and hair unstyled. He was nothing if not used to navigating crowds, though, and he easily weaved through the throngs of tourists to grab sandwiches that you split, sitting on a bench covered in stickers.

Finally, something caught your eye as you looped back around to the main square: a side of the street full of stalls displaying artworks, mostly paintings.

“Hyunjin, look,” you tugged on his sleeve, “there’s the artist market that they were talking about in the guidebook!”

His eyes shone with interest as you got closer, even though your head was spinning slightly from the sheer variety of art to look at. From soft watercolors of flowers to realistic portraits of elderly people in a park or abstract prints, there was no shortage of things you could see yourself putting up in your apartment.

Suddenly, the gears in your head started turning. “Hyunjin, wait, I wanna split up.”

He wheeled around abruptly. “God, (Y/N), please don’t scare me like that,” he whined, clutching at his chest dramatically.

Suppressing a laugh, you continued: “How about we each start at one end and pick out one painting for each other? We’ve been looking for something to put in the hallway by the bathroom for ages.”

Hyunjin smiled. “What’s the budget?”

“How about 25 euros each, Mr. Cartier,” you rolled your eyes affectionately, squeezing his hand.

He squeezed yours in return and practically ran off to the opposite end of the market.

A month later, a watercolor of apple blossoms and a tiny ink drawing of the Seine in the morning sun hung proudly in your hallway, with a slightly blurry Polaroid of the two of you in front of the Sacre Coeur taped to the frame.

Don't see him as a big cuddler tbh. I think he does every once in a while when its convenient, but i see him preferring to have his own space more. Like still laying in one bed with his partner, looking something together, but everyone has their personal space. Maybe when initially laying downs theres 2 minutes of cuddling and then everyone gies back to their own place🥲 im also seeing him preferring cuddles when its dark, so either early in the morning when waking up or late at night when doing movie night or falling asleep.

Felix

Cuddling with him is a part of daily routine, i think it'll be happening all day long, at every convenient chance. Cuddles will also be really warm and feel...ugh uk that feeling when you've been out and about the whole day, and ur exhausted and finally lay in bed and ur spine decompresses and u literally can feel the tension and stress exiting ur body? Thats the feeling u'll get when cuddling with felix. Of relaxation, but not quite. Just purging u off negative energy and tension. Cuddling will also be filled with talks and fun and jokes etc im hearing and also - im seeing he won't be shying away from pda. Im seeing lots of cuddling and embracing in public. Im seeing also firm grip(?) and compression. I think he likes receiving deep pressure and probably also gives that in his cuddle sessions too. Im also seeing feet massage.

Seungmin

Seungmin sadly is also one of the non-cuddlers. Im hearing "its a waste of time" and he would prefer to indulge in a hobby by himself, get some work done, run errands tasks etc, or spend quality time with his partner (but like doing something together, actively). But just laying on the couch, together, doesn't seem very appealing to him. He doesn't like it as far as i can pick up on the energy. Despite all that im seeing him cuddling A LOT nonetheless, probably because his partner loves it, and he loves his partner and wants to make them happy, so persay he doesn't like cuddling itself but he likes making his partner happy. Not seeing many clues on how he actually cuddles, but the card shows strong focus on the partner and mirroring to some degree so i assume he just cuddles the way his partner likes. So there's no one set way - it depends on who he's with. Also another important point is that this is not the case for all his partners. The person he's with has to be very special, and he has to love them very much. So yeah - they get that special treatment cuddles.

He got almost all the same cards as felix😂 i'd say he really loves cuddling, he does it often and likes to keep a constant "schedule". Like he would definitely notice and miss it if today he only cuddled his partner once, for example. Or if in the morning they forgot or didn't have time to cuddle. He'll definitely notice the difference and miss it throughout the day. I think he needs that constant energy to keep him strong and balanced (like mentally/emotionally) and it just gives him a sense of comfort and makes him feel loved in the relationship. I think physical contacts very important to him. I also see him get easily aroused when cuddling and often wanting to slap some cheeks after the cuddle sesh. Im seeing high libido overall, may be a reason for why physical contacts so important to him and why he needs that to feel lm throughout the day. Now i don't mean him needing that every 30 min. But he needs a consistent routine as i said, for example in the morning, then when he gets home, then after dinner, then while watching a movie, during cooking, before falling asleep etc. like just once for a few minutes isn't enough. Not getting much insight on the cuddling itself tho...so i think he doesn't have much preferences as long as its cuddling and just physical contact and just like...their bodies being pressed close to one another. I think he likes cuddling in a layed down position, like he's on his back and his partners on top yk? But not just the head the whole body. Or he has his head on their belly or butt. Just something of that sort, more horizontal cuddling.

Day Off - Jiwon

*Ring*… *Ring*… *Ring*

And there it is, the dreaded iPhone alarm. This alarm is what gives all high school and college students nightmares, then coming with them into adulthood, the alarm becomes a part of a person throughout the rest of their lives.

*Ring*… *Ring*… *Ring*

You wake up from what was your splendid slumber to that accursed alarm, but there’s one good thing about this alarm.

“UGH!”

It’s not yours.

You hear a woman groaning, following with a hand slapping down to a nightstand next to your bed and the alarm ends. You stay laying in your bed, facing the edge of it while you feel movement on the other side, you chuckle as you stay relaxed. As the movement gets closer towards you, a hand lands on your shoulder, gripping you slowly then suddenly a body is now on top of you.

“O-ppa.”

Your ear was filled with her voice, she’s now wide awake which means you’re wide awake. “Yes, honey?” Your voice was groggy, it was a low tone, your throat felt a strong vibration once you spoke. “It’s time to wakey, wakey…” She whispers into your ear, then begins leaving a trail of kisses from the farthest end of your cheek, making a slow way to your lips.

“Baby, you know it’s your day off.” You turn yourself slowly while she’s keeping her position on top of you; now facing frontwards, you see what is the cutest thing to wake up to in the morning. Jiwon’s hair messy and all over the place, her lips are pouting right at you. “I know oppa, but I don’t want to waste the day.” Jiwon lays belly first on top of you, nose to nose, staring into each other’s eyes.

“You know, you have the prettiest eyes.” Her eyes are an extremely dark brown, the black pupil blending in perfectly with the colours of her corneas. “Do I have prettier eyes than Heoni?” Jiwon’s pout grows bigger, you remember the last time you saw all the members, you had answered that their maknae Jiheon had the prettiest eyes, Jiwon hasn’t let you off the hook for that.

“You always had prettier eyes than her baby.” You move your nose away from hers, losing contact but instead you kiss the tip of her nose, which in turn converts her lips from a pout to a smile, cheeks lighting up like a fire. “Good!” Giggles fill the room, Jiwon now sitting up on top of you full straddle, she covers both her cheeks and just smiles at you. “I should be the only one you look at!” Her voice has always been quite loud, bed talk is no different, Park Jiwon is definitely the loudest member from her group, Saerom has told you horror stories about it.

“What do you want to do today baby?” You continue looking up to your girlfriend who’s just casually sitting on top of you, pretending to think, but you got a feeling she already knew how to start today. She looks at you as if she’s wants… No… needs something, something she hasn’t had for a long time. “Baby… We just woke up…”

Jiwon lips become loose again; her tongue moistens her bottom lip. “Then let me…” Jiwon slowly disappeared under the blanket that you two shared. “Baby, w-wait!”

No stopping now…

The sounds of sizzles and the smells of scrambled eggs fill your apartment’s small kitchen, the table was filled with a bowl of rice, sauteed gai-lan with garlic, a large grilled pork belly. Since waking up, both you and Jiwon were… Occupied throughout most of the morning, you decided to make a full lunch instead to regain energy.

Jiwon wearing only one of your t-shirts, a pair of underwear and an apron, you on the other hand wearing a pair of your old college basketball shorts and a baggy sweatshirt, not worried about the oils possibly spraying on your clothes or the smell being stuck to your clothing. “Mmm, everything is smelling great oppa.” Jiwon enjoying the time cooking with you in the kitchen, it’s been so long since the two of you spent quality time together.

Jiwon has shut off the stove, pouring over the eggs into a bowl and handing it off to you. “All doooone!” Her voice is soothing for you; you miss her presence whenever she goes on tour or is practicing for a comeback, with the time today, you want to enjoy what time you have left before she leaves again.

Lunch is all set, placing the bowl of eggs on the table while Jiwon makes her way to the table with a small container of kimchi. You watch your girlfriend take off the apron, you couldn’t help but watch Jiwon set the apron on the wall, with her t-shirt flaring up exposing the pink frilled underwear. “Hey, you perv, you’d think I wouldn’t know you would look?” You up from looking at Jiwon’s little tush to her face directed right at you.

Caught red handed, although you were not flustered one bit, this being typical behaviour while the two of you finally have alone time. “It’s not my fault that my girlfriend is a sexy idol.” Smirking at her, which was met with a smirk of her own, walking slowly towards you. You watched her as she moved step by step, each thigh coming after another, you just kept watching Jiwon get closer, passing by her designated chair.

She pulls the chair you’re sitting in out, with you on it. “Damn, have you gotten stronger?” Jiwon lifts her t-shirt, showing off her mid, slapping it confidently that her mid has become solid as a rock. “You did get a good look at them earlier, didn’t you?” A big smile was on her face, you chuckle. “Well sorry baby, I was… Distracted…” While giggling Jiwon props herself to sit on you, both legs hanging off one side, arm around you neck, she draws a finger along your jaw.

“Should we have our meal?” You smiled and leaned forward to meet your lover’s lips halfway.

“Look honey, they have a Takoyaki stand!” Jiwon points with her finger poking out slightly in a glove, over to a busy stand, smoke and steam coming out for a little cart with quite a line up. “It’s been a while since I had som-” You look to where your girlfriend was, but in typical Jiwon fashion, she’s disappeared away from your side only to see her lined up for the Takoyaki. “Honey, over here!” You see a small figure sticking out their arm, with a hand covered by a glove, of course it’s Jiwon lining up for food.

You couldn’t help but smile as you walk over to her lining up with her, shortly joining her, the wait time for the line was terribly long. In normal circumstances, you wouldn’t attempt to wait in a line like this, preferably going somewhere else for food, but this isn’t normal circumstance.

You waited patiently; the line moves ever so slowly. The cold was creeping up your body, but it seems as though Jiwon wasn’t feeling cold Fall breeze. “Are you not cold baby?” You put your hands inside your jacket while your girlfriend wraps her hands around one of your arms while the two of you wait for the line to move.

The line is slow going, but your patience has paid off as both you and Jiwon had gotten a fresh portion of Takoyaki, you were amazed about how great the food smelt. The cart didn't look different than the others that you've seen, you look over to Jiwon who's holding her own little paper bowl of Takoyaki. You can see in her eyes how ready she is to devour it; you almost feel bad for the octopus that was harvested to make this. You pull your girlfriend to the side of the cart to some small tables for customers to eat their purchases at the market.

"Look oppa, the bonito flakes are still moving!" Jiwon looks so cheerful; you almost feel like you're going to fall in love with her all over again. "Baby, did I ever mention that you're the cutest thing that lever seen?" Your lover is suddenly flustered. Putting down the little bowl on the table, then following up to cover her face to hide her now even more pinker cheeks from the blushing. “Aish, why do you have to embarrass me now? In public too!”

After getting settled at your little table, Jiwon picked up a piece with a toothpick given at the cart. “Baby, wouldn’t it be too hot to eat?” You try to warn her while you’re trying to open a little hole with your toothpick, but before you knew it, you hear muffled scream.

“MMMMM!” You already knew it were to happen, you didn’t even have to look over to what sounds to be a little Jiwon steaming hot fumes from her mouth. You calmly open up a water bottle and handed it over to her, which she grabbed in a furious manner. “I tried to warn you baby.” You take a small bite out of your takoyaki, thankfully it was cooled down enough to safely eat in peace.

After knowing that your portion was cool enough to eat, you switched yours with Jiwon’s. “Wait, but that means you have to wait for them to cool again.” You watched your girlfriend pout, but you didn’t care. “It’s okay baby, you can eat first. Waiting isn’t a problem.” You kissed her forehead, turning that pout into a smile.

You watch Jiwon eating the food a little bit more cautiously while you create small holes to let the hot air out of yours.

Seeing your girlfriend happy was always the priority.

“Okay… Grand Prix mode… 200cc… You ready to get your ass kicked?” Jiwon gets herself set, sitting down next to you. Trying to keep your composure, you compare your made kart with Jiwon’s, you’re using King Boo while she chooses Rosalina. You knew she was trying to match your weight class so you wouldn’t abuse her off the track.

“Okay, let’s start!”

You and Jiwon get quite competitive when someone suggests to turn on the Switch and run some Mario Kart, usually it would be Jiwon’s idea.

A few tracks went by, she placed 1st place in the first track, but you followed up in the second track, after the third track both you and Jiwon are tied for 1st place, coming down to a winner takes all fourth race.

“You may have kept up this long, but I’m going to win!” You look over to your left, Jiwon leaned forward, glasses tipping slightly at the tip of her nose, tongue sticking out while slightly biting on it with her teeth. She’s dressed in sweats, her hair is tied up in a bun, she couldn’t look anymore differently when she’s up on stage, but then again, this is the Jiwon that you fell in love with.

After a fight of bananas and red shells flying everywhere, an untimely blue shell had taken you out of your 1st place ranking.

“I WON!”

I'm currently watching the Stray Kids survival show for the first time and I've been noting down my thoughts while watching, so I decided I might as well share my live commentary on here as well:

Episode 1:

- Chaeryeong my love, my humble queen, skz fangirling for her was so cute

- Yeji and Ryujin already being heartthrobs before debut

- interesting how they only showcased the Itzy girlies individually of the girls team

- obviously grateful that skz got to debut through this show, but also grateful the girls team didn't debut bc I would've missed Lia

- Changbin and Seungmin were already such solid performers predebut it's insane

- OMG Jeongin was tiny, I 100% get the baby bread thing now

- Jisung somehow looked older predebut than he does now

- Hyunjin's predebut visuals!!! sir?!! leave some of those good looks for the rest of us

- wtf how does Felix look like he's 12 years old but has the same voice he has now??? my brain can't match his voice to his face, this is crazy

- videos of Chan as a teen are so cute, I can't-

- I do admire Chan's leader qualities which already show themselves really strongly here. He was 20, I believe, which isn't super crazy, he obviously will have had lots of experience by nature of having been a trainee for 7 years, but it's still an insane amount pressure

- Chan with Twice is so cute, my heart!!! Sana teasing him!! OMG!!

- Lily??!! OMG!! I love how instantly recognizable she is from her voice colour

- the girl team slayed, holy shit, my queen Chaeryeong loml

- from the showcase alone, I'd say 3racha + Seungmin were really their pillars they could rely on for live vocals/rap, apart from maybe Chan and Hyunjin they're all lacking in stage presence still tho

- Ryujin's resting pouty face, I love her

- Jeongin is so baby!!!

- Changbin 100% deserved that shoutout from JYP, I mean you wouldn't have guessed he's a trainee from how he looked on that stage, damn

- lmao not Minho keeping his clothes in bundles, what is wrong with this man

- the entire maknae line were such cuties back then omg

Episode 2:

- Chan being really harsh in dance practice bc it's important they get this right, and Minho stepping in to show Jeongin the dance in detail; it's like he observed the scene and saw that Jeongin felt a bit intimidated so he gave him some confidence by going through it with him

- Minho cheering everyone on before their performance, he's like the heart of the group atp, he keeps the cool for everyone, while Chan handles all the outward responsibilities, they really are like mom and dad

- 3racha + Seungmin again with their insane predebut live vocals

- Hyunjin's flow was a bit sloppy and Minho, Woojin and Jeongin sounded a bit out of breath (honestly didn't expect that from Minho)

- Han Jisung the ace of aces

- I sometimes see people make fun of Hellevator for its line distribution but it made sense for that context, Jisung was their most solid live performer and he could hit the high notes, so he should get the most lines

Episode 3:

- NOOOOO leave Minho to singing, don't make him rap, he's a singer and he has a beautiful voice, he's just not as stable yet

- Jisung holding Minho's hand while Changbin is supporting him during his rap is beautiful

- Minbin are truly the cutest, like for the song they chose, Changbin was like "this would suit Minho" and then later said "this song is mine, I'll do it with you" and an unsaid "I'll get you through this evaluation"

- the "there's no vocal" in relation to Minho, Changbin and Felix hurt my heart, let Minho sing!!!

- Seungmin's voice!! I am deceased

- the way Changbin is teaching Minho to rap, my heart

- Minho, Changbin and Felix are such a fun trio

- the Changlix kiss was too cute

Episode 4:

- apart from Chan everyone is super awkward at giving feedback which is so valid, but I'm impressed by Jisung who wasn't as harsh as Chan but at least tried even though he is one of the younger members

- my heart is bleeding for Minho who's like "I'm one of the older members, I should be helping the younger members, but instead they've helped me a lot" and Changbin who immediately takes the blame when Minho isn't rapping well enough and the fact that their entire performance is a mess bc the rap members are singing and the vocal member is rapping (although Changbin sings well enough tbf)

- leader Chan! the way he's serious and not afraid to tell the others off is honestly very impressive

- Minho's softspoken voice is just so nice to listen to

- Seungmin is so insane, I could listen to this man sing all day

- Felix is on the verge of tears, nooo :((

- when Minho cries, I cry, I'm so sad, and Changbin blaming himself again makes it worse

- Jisung has such a big heart, the way he talks about Jeongin and talks to Jeongin

- Han Jisung, the man you are

- it's really unfair, Minho's a dancer!! which he never got to show off at this point (which is their own fault for sure, but he was way too focused on the fact that JYP wanted him to rap)

- if anything, JYP's evaluation that Minho would hold them back is just wrong, he's no Changbin or Jisung who were already well-rounded performers at this point, but he is a solid dancer, he led the dance practice in episode 1 really well and he is the heart of the group. while Chan is responsible for making sure they debut and they're all doing good work, Minho is responsible for everyone's emotional well-being. it's honestly super interesting to me that Woojin, who is actually the oldest, doesn't take on any real older member role

- something I realized as well this episode is the leader qualities all of 3racha possess, they really took charge for these subunit performances

- as much as I love Changbin, I feel like Minho would've benefitted more from a collaboration with Chan for this evaluation. it would've removed this barrier that Minho built between him and Changbin because Changbin is younger and he felt like guilty having to rely on someone younger than him and Chan's tough love teaching style might've also spoken to Minho more than Changbin's much nicer method.

despite being a promising group , with high quality music and sufficient promotions , back2u just never found the outstanding success that their labelmates have seemed to achieve with ease. although their releases would occasionally resonate with the public and chart well , the group itself never caught on , with only sangwoo being deemed popular. nevertheless , they did manage to earn a tightknit and dedicated fanbase that still support them to this day and all of the members are extremely close.

with the expiration of their contracts in 2023 , only two of the back2u members chose to remained signed to seventh heaven— sangwoo and taein— while the others chose to focus on their solo careers elsewhere. they've subsequently halted group activities , but swear to fans that this isn't the end and they'll eventually have a comeback.

Hm, I found this "Styler" Korean magazine. It's about stylish things, home decor, clothes. It has a little bit of vintage and artsy style? Not luxury brands. Think Poetic beauty rather than Prada.

There is also a cooling (?) humidifying (?) wardrobe by this name 스타일��, but I doubt Do meant this specific product. A big jump from perfume.

Do was right to worry as Jungwoo demonstrated during DJJ he doesn't know his way around even a normal kitchen. Do has a habit of being cautious and fussy.

The winning team was given a task by the producers, Johnny and Jaehyun seemed to get too interested with that (JN is famous for liking coffee, Jae wanted to get the final result). Jungwoo doesn't cook. I was surprised Yuta was so helpful, usually he is the one to slack the most. He was in good spirits, had fun.

I don't think Jaehyun cooks much. He is named the best cook, but I suspect he just knows how to make a few dishes following a recipe.

I don't know if age order plays here any role, probably for Do it's just easier to burden Hyuk as a more close person (and he sat nearby). Kind of like guest/family member at the dinner table distinction? Both of the guys ate, so both should have been equally hungry/non-hungry.

THANK YOU!! I've literally grown so annoyed with pjms lately because all they do is whine and whine and whine. LC is a good song, but the truth is that it never left the kpop bubble. The GP doesn't know that song and frankly, im shocked that people are expecting LC to get a grammy nom over Seven. This isnt me being biased either because i would say the same about 3D if it was jungkooks debut song, because 3D never made it out the kpop bubble either.

Do you feel like the Fandom has started to resent Jungkook? I've seen the same pattern lately. Someone praises Seven, and someone mentions another person's release. For example, people were talking about how seven deserves to win best music video and someone comments "what about Haegeum?" Or "haegeum deserved it." It just feels like they want any other member to win other than JK. I already Nov 10th is going to be filled with so much drama

I disagree that 3D never made it out of the kpop bubble. Jungkook's very much out of the kpop bubble as a soloist, and Jack Harlow was never in the bubble. 3D's doing well on Spotify too, given the fierce competition and the fact that it's obviously not as good or as well promoted as Seven (the alternate version is almost on the same level as Seven to me, but Harlow is unbearable and 3D's not as replayable).

Anyway, 3D will never get a Grammy nom, but Seven should. The Grammys are all about popularity. Igaf about "quality", at the end of the day, of all the artists voters know, they choose the songs they like best (or get paid to like). It's simple: if you're not popular/influential, at least in those circles, no one will hear your song. Seven deserves at least the pop group/duo nom since it's going to become the fastest song to hit 1B streams on Spotify, was loved by the GP, had impact, and because it's a good song. Imo it's actually better than Dynamite and on the same level as Butter. I don't like Latto much but her part is admittedly fun and catchy once I stopped being annoyed at her feature (Seven would be miles better without it though). The clean lyrics are good enough for me too, and Seven also has longevity. I've heard it a million times already but it doesn't really become annoying - the opposite, actually. Now I can understand why people liked it.

Anyway, I'm not sure if the "fandom" resents Jungkook. I mean, what is the fandom? There are millions of us. Solo stans for sure resent Jungkook because, obviously, neither Jimin nor V can compete with Jungkook's power and global popularity right now, Jimin stans are mad at Hybe for sabotaging LC in the radio, and Hyung line stans are often mad at the maknae line for being more popular. When it comes to the Grammys and other award shows, it's like all of a sudden fans don't know how the game works... Seven not getting a best MV nod when (although I didn't like it) it was high budget, cinematographic, well shot, had a story, had impact, served visuals, etc. would be at least a bit unfair unless all other nominees have better MVs. But why would Haegeum be nominated? Just because it's good? Again, it's not about quality. It's about being known (or buying your way in). Not many Grammy voters know Agust D or watched Haegeum. It's not like YTC, when the Grammys clearly just wanted to nominate BTS so fans wouldn't accuse them of racism again and maybe tune in to the show. Agust D is not BTS. People don't know him as much. They know BTS, but not Suga individually for the most part. But a lot of people know Jungkook individually now, and he's the member people are most likely to know. They could nominate him just to throw kpop some crumbs. That's what all these award shows do anyway.

There's a lot of discourse about Jungkook now. Jimin and the rap line wrote their songs and produced their albums, so they're better than Jungkook. V sang in Korean and paired up with a pedophile artistic genius, so he's better than Jungkook. Blah blah. The audience doesn't care. There's popularity/sales/streams/engagement and then there's artistry/quality/whatever. Those two dimensions intersect but that's it. Fans know this... That's why Dynamite is BTS's best performing song...
