Talent is analyzing scriptures

When Yuna was very young, they lost their parents from a bus crash, leading to them being adopted by their Uncle Theodore (their mother’s older brother). Since then, Theodore raised Yuna as his own, teaching them life skills and more notably history which inspires little Yuna. Theodore worked as a linguist, historian, and a cartographer; the latter of which being his full time job while also teaching Yuna how to speak in different languages especially their mother language; they struggle quite a lot with that subject. Throughout their entire school life before college, they didn’t have many friends but is well liked by peers. When they were around 12, they become interested in cryptozoology and mythology, studying them for quite a long time to this day. Yuna is now a college student at age 17, studying history (mainly art history), English, and of course art. One day, they missed the bus but saw a black carriage. Not taking any chances of having to wait for another bus, they got on the carriage and were then transported to Twisted Wonderland.

Facts:

•They dabbled a bit in the occult in the past, but has since given up on it

•They like to read stories about monsters

•Flustered af with intimacy

•Friends with a guy named Adrian Rosco, a 20 year old mechanic that goes to the same college as them - He’s also like a brother to Yuna and taught them how to fix things

•Fashion sense is inspired by campy horror movies (Ginger Snaps, Lisa Frankenstein, Jennifer’s Body, etc.)

•A horror fan

•Outright refuses to kill someone

•Due to studying cryptozoology, they have a hyperfixation on ancient creatures, extinct or not (Rook #2 but a little more pleasant)

•Has a part time job at a restaurant as a busboy, still has a similar role post-Book 3 in Wonderland

•Theodore would take them to meet their father’s side of the family; Yuna hates the parties due to loud music

i  know  you  didn't  send  for  them  and  that  they're  not  a  ship  or  whatever  BUT  i  was  going  through  her  instagram  and  the  baby  picture  .  .  .  i  had  to  do  it  .  alright  so  :  1  .  maddie  giving  milo  one  of  those  children  toys  that  work  as  cameras  and  the  image  is  shitty  and  has  no  quality  at  all  but  maddie  would  go  through  them  all  and  keep  every  single  one  of  the  pictures  she  could  make  some  sense  out  of  .  and  genuinely  ,  there  would  be  so  many  of  isla  in  there  .  he's  just  her  biggest  fan  ,  every  since  he  was  a  little  kid  ,  so  everything  she  did  was  just  so  cool  that  he  had  to  be  there  with  his  ridiculous  little  camera  snapping  shots  .  just  them  having  snacks  and  isla  puts  two  cookies  together  and  he  thinks  that's  so  smart  and  he  needs  to  remember  that  forever  so  it's  a  picture  .  and  i  know  he  has  those  printed  and  stored  somewhere  ,  maddie's  doing  .  .  .  cause  she'd  want  him  to  keep  them  and  he  definitely  would  cherish  them  dearly  .  2  .  taken  in  aspen  ,  cause  that's  where  most  of  their  good  memories  are  from  as  well  .  from  when  he  first  learned  to  walk  and  isla  and  jaxon  helped  him  into  his  skates  to  taking  their  significant  others  to  maxon's  cabin  for  the  holidays  to  spend  some  time  with  the  family  .  all  the  snowball  fights  ,  being  so  happy  they're  both  finally  drunk  enough  to  drink  maddie's  spiked  eggnog  ,  staying  late  to  hear  jaxon  sneaking  their  presents  onto  the  tree  and  jumping  into  maxon's  bed  first  thing  in  the  morning  because  they're  both  too  eager  to  open  their  gifts  .  3  .  milo  says  it's  very  important  to  mention  before  there  was  theo  working  as  her  personal  photographer  ,  there  was  him  .  isla  making  him  take  pictures  of  her  in  cute  little  outfits  or  when  they  were  traveling  and  ,  of  course  ,  his  young  brother  ass  would  be  complaining  a  little  before  taking  as  many  pictures  as  she  wanted  because  he  knows  she  likes  them  and  she'd  be  sad  if  he  didn't  .  and  to  this  day  ,  he  probably  knows  her  favorite  angles  and  knows  exactly  when  someone  stupid  took  her  picture  instead  cause  it  looks  terrible  .  he  will  never  tell  her  but  he's  kinda  jealous  when  she  asks  theo  to  do  them  instead  cause  he  thinks  he  was  so  good  at  them  🥹  4  .  gonna  get  .  .  .  a  little  depressing  here  .  .  .  and  say  that's  one  of  their  first  dinners  after  isla  has  moved  out  .  probably  at  his  new  house  ,  him  inviting  her  over  before  anyone  else  (except  for  nik,  cause  yk)  and  just  having  a  movie  night  with  her  ,  paying  so  much  attention  to  everything  she  looks  at  and  how  she  reacts  to  the  way  he's  put  everything  together  cause  her  opinion  matters  most  to  him  and  always  will  .  maybe  that's  when  they  finally  talk  about  the  elephant  in  the  room  and  how  he  was  so  heartbroken  about  her  leaving  ,  even  if  he's  so  happy  for  her  and  theo  .  just  two  silly  gremlins  crying  on  the  floor  of  his  new  living  room  ,  getting  drunk  on  all  the  wine  he  bought  and  stuffing  their  faces  with  the  crazy  amount  of  food  they  ordered  ,  the  movie  long  forgotten  on  the  screen  .

9. If your paras found out you were their creator, how would they react?

This one is complicated because my paraself is a big part of my paracosm and uh he has broken the fourth wall a few times... so how would he react? "Oh hey alternative universe self, how's it goin?"

I think my other main paras would be like "ahah no way, I always knew everything was fake"

My other paras would be very confused. Like genuinely confused because they are mostly atheistic so that explanation would be out. "Who are you??" Like overall wouldn't believe me.

19. What are your paras typing styles?

NONE of them use emojis. Such things are outlawed in my brain lol. Axel, Theo, Bingo, and rarely also Tamara, use emoticons [:>, :3, :/, etc]. On paper Axel would write tiny and have a sort of fake fancy handwriting because he never learned to write, but he doesn't want to seem pathetic. Milo would have simple writing with no connection between any letters, fully legible. Theo and Tamara both connect letters. Tamara actually tries to have good handwriting while Theo is a scribbler. Natty would write in big letters and insane spacing between each word. Through text, Milo and Tamara are the only ones who use punctuation. Theo does sometimes but it's not correct (like me lol). Axel just types and types and types and relies on autocorrect to fix everything. Natty doesn't misspell but she just writes big chunks with no stops. And the rest of my paras are fact-paras... and I struggle so much with comprehending other people so yeah I can't even begin to tell you their writing styles.

33. If you make images of your paras with meiker/picrew, what is usually missing from the meiker/picrew?

Uhgggg Milo has to have freckles because acne rarely exists. I also can never find the right middle part. Axel of course I have to draw in his extra eyes on my own. Also there's never the right amount of hair colors. Tamara is whitewashed so much and that drives me insane. I've spent ages searching for black centered picrews. Theo rarely gets his fangs. Natty doesn't ever get her like half shaved head look. Bingo never gets multi colored hair. AND SO MUCH MORE. Which I respect picrew creators and allat but personally I just want my people to look accurate. I learned a lovely skill of editing picrews so it's alright usually. EXCEPT FOR THE PICREWS WITH NO SKIN COLOR OPTIONS.

Donnie helped design Milo and Theo’s hearing aids, and simultaneously made Milo decide that he wanted to be just like his Uncle Donnie when he grows up <3

Donnie was a bit apprehensive about letting a four year old into his lab at first, but Milo is so enamored watching him work that he eventually caved - now the little chameleon is his little shadow and "Genius Buddy". <3 Having the twins around helped Donnie with his patience as well; he lets Milo help with tiny things (like helping screw in a screw or find a certain tool) and Milo is just starstruck by the whole experience.

I just realized that I haven't posted these kiddos over here, so I thought I'd share! Meet Milo and Theo!

I've never personally gotten into making fan children for characters, but a friend over on Twitter has the sweetest little Donnie fan baby and she brought up the fact that there aren't a ton of Mikey fan children around so we and a few other artists put our heads together and made some!

I feel like Mikey would definitely wait until he was a bit older to have kids - maybe late 20s to early 30s- and thought it would be really cool to see him choose to adopt. In my idea, Mikey starts volunteering at Hidden City pregnancy centers and orphanages once things have started to settle down at home. He quickly becomes one of the favorite volunteers, and loves helping pregnant moms, rocking babies, and playing with all of the kiddos. Every time he comes to work, he immediately gets flocked by all of the Yokai kids calling for "Mr. Mikey"'s attention.

For the longest time he any sincere plans to have children of his own - especially since he's single and didn't feel like he was "ready" to become a dad. However, the moment he met the chameleon twins (who he affectionately dubbed 'The Spaghettios'), he had a moment of like "OH. Oh these are MY boys."

Theo & Milo are 4 1/2, with Theo being a hair older. They're both pretty shy and timid, especially after they first come home, but open up a bit more overtime. They are both also partially deaf, though Mikey didn't realize it when he adopted them. Once he realized something was "off", he and Donnie helped construct hearing aids for the boys which they now wear the majority of the time. Prior to their adoption they had hidden both of their disabilities by translating for the other when needed and developing a small arsenal of signs to communicate.

Theo is the shyer of the two, preferring to spend time with his brother, clinging to Mikey's shell to join him on adventures, or snuggling with his PopPop. As an adult, he'll eventually go into the nursing field. Milo is a bit more outgoing, though he's also an introvert. He loves being his Uncle Donnie's shadow, and his super interested in inventions even though he doesn't fully understand them yet. <3

The other kiddos featured are characters belonging to the other artists in the group - the two reading with the boys are @/Star_sparkler's August (the one with glasses) and Matisse (the smaller), the one making flower crowns with Milo is @/HoneyLemon_UwU_'s Amy, the mischief maker with Theo is @/darlinakaz's Benji, and the little round cinnamon roll is @/tdubberz Juliette <3

Grey is a social butterfly, he will hang out with staff, with the odd gym leader who comes by, with visitors he clicks with, he'll go off and do his own thing, and happily return when he's ready to do so. He likes a night out, and will usually go to the mainland once a week to socialise outside of the trio. He hangs with fun, diverse people, who can take a joke and enjoy life to the fullest. He's often invited to hang with Brawly, the fighting gym leader over in Hoenn, but its quite far so he doesn't go often, they get along well however.

Plum has a choice few friends, and occasionally attends a birthday or gathering with 15-20 others who she knows through association. She's got a couple childhood friends back home, both rich kids who she grew up with that she visits as much as possible when in the area, but on the island its usually the HR staff who share the building with her, June, one of the women who runs the gift shop, and a couple of the more friendly gardeners, one of the battle aid staff. Nice folks, they all enjoy the finer things, chat over expensive teas and snacks during their breaks, go off to shop in Goldenrod when they get a chance.

Peach is a bit of a loner, she on occasion will socialise at staff gatherings, and is never particularly unkind or rude, just, not that interested in making friends as such. She has however bonded with the garden staff though she wont admit it freely, and finds great joy in hanging with Teddy, the on-island groomer. Aside from them, she'll get the odd invite to meet up with Kukui when he's in the area or he swings by her neck of the woods, those two share a braincell. She enjoys the company of Jasmine, the Olivine gym leader, her seemingly innocent docile nature is a lie and she loves that. Milo, grass leader from Galar also bonded to her and now wont leave, their physical similarities amused him, then they found out they had grass based specialities, it was kind of written in the starts, they get on like a house on fire.

The trio do overlap from time to time, but not often. Peach is anti-social, but plum and grey can be found chatting and hanging out with the same folks on occasion. Explaining their relationship is easy, they don't! Peach asks the other two to either play it like she's not part of it (her and grey are very private about their connection, even some of the staff don't know they date), OR they call people out for prying in their business, and dodge the question. Those who know, don't care...except Theo, she always wants details, she's nosey. A couple of the friends who do know are pretty chill bout it. Peach tells no one. Plum tells some. Grey tells anyone who asks.

Whenever possible, Peach encourages Grey and Plum to go out and do regular couple things without her, she's not into the parties, the couples double dates, the gimmicky junk. Happy to ditch it and let them get on. Plum is happy, her moms finally shut up about her being single. Grey just likes to go out and is indifferent as to where and under what circumstances, though he does quietly miss Peach when she doesn't tag along.

Gnat

Alina: Headstrong with a bit of awkwardness, Gnat is not afraid to make waves and challenge others. Like Alina, she’ll fight for those who she loves and she has a strong moral compass.

Phoenix: Both are extremely dorky, but somehow incredibly competent. They have a strong sense of what is right and wrong, and a little bit of naivety. That optimism in people can get them in trouble though. Also, they love arguing, heh.

Elle: Intelligent, popular, beautiful, and stubborn. What more can I say? Both of them have a lot of drive, and will do things out of spite constantly! Who knew spite was such a huge motivator towards success? The more and more I look @ this, the more and more I think Gnat should be an attorney.

Peggy: Oh Peggy. Started out so naive and meek and in the end was the baddest bitch of the series. Gnat has high aspirations like Peggy and is willing to go through it all to get them. She’s also not afraid to butt heads against the many Mad Men in the world. 

Ladybug

Sophie: Ladybug is very insecure and is content to study her craft (painting vs hat making) instead of going out there and meeting people. She always has your back though and is brave enough to stand up to others! Maybe she just needs a push from a magician who eats girl’s hearts...

Juno: Sprinkle in a little naivety, sarcasm, edgy humor, and attitude and you have these two. They both hide a lot of their feelings and affection with harsh words and jokes too. They try to not take themselves too seriously, so they both can be perceived as a little immature sometimes.

Ramona: Manic pixie dream girl is basically 75% of Ladybug’s personality. She dresses the part, had funky hair at one point, and acts like she’s emotionally closed off. Btw, did you know people say Comic!Ramona is fat?! I never thought that but she’s kinda drawn “chubby”. Our girl LB is def bringing those chubby alt girl vibes <3

Marceline: Plays guitar/bass? Check. Awesome sense of style? Check. Prone to anger and loves to fight with others? Lots of checks. 

Max

Milo: Dude, when I first saw Max, I saw Milo. He’s partly the reason why Max is a librarian and into history. They also look exactly the same. I can’t unsee it! 

Peter Parker: Specifically Andy Garf. vibes~ He has that charming, but geeky look to him. He’s not afraid to dig deeper into things, even if they hurt him. He’s also a HUGE dork around girls, but somehow he always ends up with them anyway! Also I hate this but ~absence/missing parents~ is a common denominator. I’m sad now.

Dean: ARRRRT!!! If you don’t remember Dean, he was the best part of the Iron Giant. An artist with a heart of gold! He’s pretty laid back and him and Max share their passion for art. They’re also both into crafting, although Max prefers wood to metal.

Professor Jones: UM can I just say I prefer Indy as a prof? Max gives me HUGE professor vibes but he’s also kind of a himbo?? Like he’s super educated in certain topics but I feel like he’s also a bit oblivious in his personal life. Who knows, maybe he’s a secret adventurer like Indy as well. 

Theo

Bender: When I first saw Theo I thought about making him an edgy, bad boy like Bender. I knew that a) he had to smoke b) have a BAD attitude c) come from a toxic home. Wow, this is making me sad. My bad Theo.

Trent: Two words--lazy, mooch. Both Trent and Theo don’t have jobs (no plans to get one anytime soon) and spend most of their time sleeping/smoking. Laid back, carefree, zero judgements...ah. That’s the life of someone who has no direction lmao.

Boris: I have a confession. When I wanted to write Theo’s dialogue, I knew I wanted him to be ~mysterious~ I racked my brain on how to do so and at the time I was reading TGF. Boris is my FAVORITE FICTIONAL person. I decided to take two things from him--his accent and his history of traveling. They’re also both reckless, moody, overly confident, and a horrible influence. I love them for that <3

Sebastian: Both are always looking for something more, something better. They very non committal and are frequently in a bad mood. Once they warm up to you, they’re extremely loyal~

It was the window that set him off.  It was open and it was never left open, Nick never forgot.  It was their bedroom window that was always always locked and their room was safe but the window was open and Milo could barely think straight everything hurt so badly.  His throat hurt from yelling, ears ringing and heart pounding so hard he could barely hear himself, nails digging into his skin as he panicked.

Nick was here but it wasn’t safe and he was never safe and he was stupid to think he was safe, stupid.

“He’s, he’s here, Nick, I can’t, he’s here I can’t go back Nick p,please,”  Air was impossible to pull into his lungs now, everything was so loud and Samuel could be anywhere in the house right now and he was going to take him away from Nick and he couldn’t go back he’d rather die than go back.

“Milo, he’s not in the house.”  Nick was here, he couldn’t let Samuel take Nick away, everything was so wrong and the house was supposed to be safe but the window was open and Samuel was here and now everything was wrong.

“No, no Nick h,he’s in here he’s in here-”  He pulled at his hair, back hitting the wall.  The room felt too small, he couldn’t breathe and Samuel was in here and he was going back and it felt too much like before and he couldn’t-

“Milo, nobody is here.  He didn’t find you, I promise.”

He felt like he was suffocating, hitting his head with the palm of his hands as he spun around, gasping.  Milo just shook his head, hitting harder and harder until he felt dizzy with the panic, voice breaking in a whimper.  Nick tried reaching out to him but Milo just flinched, jerking away from the hands always trying to touch him and always trying to hurt him.  It smelled like rain and dirt and blood and there was always blood on the floor...it dried and cracked under his fingernails but it never went away.

“You need to breathe, Milo.  Come on, deep breath.”

Milo stumbled as he shook his head almost violently, hitting the wall again.  He was choking and he could almost feel the teeth sinking into his neck, licking the blood away as whispers of horrifying reassurance burned into his memory.  

“No..no-” He moaned in pain, slamming a closed fist into the side of his head, barely staying upright.  “-He..the window, N,Nick he’s gonna hurt me Nick it wasn’t real, please,”  He jerked back when his wrists were grabbed, a familiar face coming close to his.

“Milo, listen to me.  I left the window open, nobody is here.  I opened the window.”

Milo paused, gaze darting between Nick's eyes, terrified.  His chest was tight, hands shaking and throbbing in pain from where he’d slammed them into his head and the wall.  He drew a shallow, sobbing breath, searching for some lie in Nick's eyes.

“Y,You left it? He, he..”

“You’re ok, he’s gone.  Samuel is gone.  He will never put his hands on you again.”

Milo nodded, breathing hard.  He slowly lowered his hands, bracing himself against the wall as the room started to tilt, vision darkening.

“Milo, you- Milo.”

Nick’s weight slammed into him as arms wrapped around his waist, catching him as his knees buckled.  Everything got darker and louder and heavier until suddenly everything went quiet.  He still couldn’t breathe.

Nick brushed the hair out Milo’s face, watching him carefully.  They were in their bed, Milo nestled protectively against his side. He’d stirred before, briefly, but not fully woken yet.  He figured it would be better to let him sleep, after getting so worked up.

Samuel. That was the first time Milo had ever said a name- his name, the man who’d taken him.  Nick had combed through every inch of the house, made sure every window and door was locked, for his sake as much as Milo’s.  He did leave that window open, he wasn’t lying just to calm Milo down.  It still gave him an uneasy feeling, though, the thought of him still being out there.

He’d probably wind up in jail if he ever got his hands on the fucker

He snapped out of his thoughts when Milo moved, fingers gripping his shirt.  A soft groan escaped him as his eyes fluttered open, exhaustion and confusion lining his features.

“Easy, you’re safe.  You’re in our bed, me you and Theo are the only ones in the house.  Searched the whole place myself.”  He slid a hand through Milo’s hair, watching his reactions carefully.  It was always helpful to...to ground him, to let him know where he was right off the bat.  There were too many nights Milo woke up thinking he was somewhere else.

“He- Nick, where-”  Milo’s eyebrows furrowed in worry, body tensing as he glanced around the room.  He leaned into Nick, hiding against his side.  

“He isn’t here.”  Nick insisted.  He kissed the side of his partner’s head, wrapping his arms around him and shielding him as much as he could.  He didn’t miss the way Milo held his arms close to his chest, always conscious of the ghosting feeling of restraints.  Nick wouldn’t be surprised if they were never taken off, the way the skin around Milo’s wrists were pale with scarring.  

“Promise?”
