I read some of your fics (IT'S SO GOOD) and I was thinking.. Hmm, what would happen if Basil meets Hercule Poirat? (Not a one shot request, just wanted to hear some funny ideas)
Oh god Basil would despise him
Basil would be really serious about the case, deep in thought, and Hercule would just be loudly chewing his banana
And whenever Hercule is actually trying, Basil undermines him with passive-aggressive comments
They constantly argue and neither get anything done

How would you describe the Stilton family?
Or
How do you think a Thea Sisters x Geronimo Stilton book would go down?
How about I answer both? :3
OKAY SO the Stilton family is, dare I say it, one big dysfunctional mess :D There are good parts and members of the family who are vibing (see Aunt Sugarfur and her family, who made their debut in The Wedding Crasher), but they are an absolute MESS.
Thea is the crystal clear favorite, Trap is... well, Trap, and WILLIAM SHORTPAWS. Oh BOY. His whole "only I'm allowed to talk smack about him" thing and constant Steven He emotional damage dealt on Geronimo would probably be considered emotional abuse at this point. Actually nah I looked it up and it IS emotional abuse, from the neglect to the verbal abuse to the gaslighting (I SEE YOU WILLIAM PUTTING A LITERAL KID-FRIENDLY SHOCK COLLAR ON G JUST TO MAKE SURE HE'S WORKING AND EMOTIONALLY MANIPULATING HIM TO SELL HIS HOUSE AND BELONGINGS IN MOUSE HOUSE HUNTER). The entire package. Not the best look for the main patriarch of the Stilton family, is it?
AND NOW WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY I've actually been toying around with the idea of a Thea Sisters x Geronimo Stilton book for a while now. Stuff going into the grindstone, maybe I might put out something but so far nothing's stuck besides "what if Violet and Geronimo switched places?" Okay hear me out.
Violet and G have been known to be very similar to each other: shy, introverted bookworms who like classical music, antiquities and history-related things; both of them are planners who prefer not to have things shoved upon them at the last minute; take sleep very seriously; can come off as "lazy" when they have a day off just to relax (Colette even calls Violet "lazy" in one of the Secret Thea Sisters' Diary entries, Italian because Scholastic hASN'T TRANSLATED THEM YET--); AND TO PUT THE CHERRY ON TOP, they love their families, although one is more problematic than the other.
As a pleb who hasn't read the Thea Stilton books, you'd think "hmmm okay, if Vi is that much similar to G, doesn't that just make Violet a genderbent G?"
Well, yes and no. Violet, for one, isn't a doormat. She's inarguably one of if not THE Thea Sister who's thrown the absolute most shade on people she doesn't exactly like (from roasting Colette on multiple occasions albeit from behind her back, to confronting villains like the Three Scottish Assholes (the Golden Grumps and Angus from Old Castle), A PERSON HOLDING THEM HOSTAGE (Dunya from Blue Scarab Hunt), AND a guy who literally had her life or death in his hands (Luke Von Klawitz from the Treasure Seekers). Then there's the time she schooled Enrico Mousetti in Dancing Shadows, and chef's kiss, beautiful, 10/10, would watch her roast the hell out of him again.
Violet is a confrontational person when it counts, and unlike Geronimo, she is not good with people pushing her around like it's nothing (if anything, it's one of her biggest pet peeves).
So I ask again: what if Violet and Geronimo switched places?
How it happens is up for you to headcanon, but what if Violet had to have one of those adventures where either Hercule Poirat, Bruce Hyena, Wild Willie or someone else burst in like "VIOLET HOLY F#^K" and dragged her onto a mission? She wouldn't take it sitting down, I'm sure :]
I'll leave you to think on that :]]]
Was the second question an excuse for me to vomit my brain out for the entire fandom to see? Yes.
Do I regret it? No.
Would I make fanfic about this sort of scenario when an idea more solid than daily brainrot comes to me? Maybe.
Anyway, I hope you like that answer Anon. I'm very surprised and mildly flattered on just how fast a question came into my inbox. Hope to answer your questions again ^^

(This isn’t an art request, btw)
What is your take on a Geronimo Stilton AU set in like 1920s-1940s?
Or if you’re not sure, what do you think of a Western AU?
Ohhh 1920s-1940s?! (Excited bc I love the fashion in that era lol-)
Tbh, Geronimo’s clothing wouldn’t be any different bc it’s kind of a same thing people wear during that era-
Now this one would be interesting.. Gosh! This Geronimo is gonna have way too many near death experiences than the regular version!
Geronimo’s gonna go through mafia, illegal stuff, gangsters, any dangerous thing all for a good scoop and reveal the truth. (Which he doesn’t like thank you very much!! Why does he always get the dangerous parts?!)
He’s gonna get dragged into some murder mysteries by Hercule Poirat and other lovely things~ To which Geronimo exclaims “I’m not a detective! Just a writer/editor for Rodents Gazette!! Please NO-“
Hmm, rumors say that their rival newspaper company Daily Rat has some dark connections with local gangsters hired to take down Rodents Gazette. But that’s just rumors! Right..?

Facts about the Third Floor (Spoilers for Mad Rat Dead)
Imma be real with y'all, these few chapters were an absolute challenge to write, in both a good and bad way.
Attempting to novelize a rhythm game, especially one with Mad Rat Dead's mechanics is surprisingly hard. Writing a story that has a constantly ticking timer in the background, and spacing out that time lapse in a logical way depending on the events happening in the foreground is not easy. But at least the rewind mechanics was pretty easy to deal with.
Thankfully I had the various videos of MRD levels, plus the extended videos of the level and boss themes I used as a guide. Thanks to those I can better follow the tempo and see how much 'time' passes as the events of the story happens in real time, even accounting for 'cutscenes'.
I had to take some massive creative liberties when creating the levels, and accounting for how to fit Mad Rat's mechanics of movement and attacking to Peppino, and how to adapt the enemies' attack pattern into the mix. That's how I came up with the Beat Barriers, in order to represent an enemy or boss being vulnerable, then adding that mechanic to the Pillar. And to also make sure that he doesn’t cheese some of the tanker enemies by just bulldozing through everything.
I couldn't for the life of me find a way to add the Employees in the level itself without it looking too out of place. So I opted for shoving them at the end, with the progress being tied to how many Fragments are found.
I also had to take creative liberty for both the cameos and the enemies that Peppino has to face. In MRD, Mad Rat had to fight what are essentially hallucinations, these... 'creatures' in the form of colorful abstract shapes. I have no damn idea on how to write these in, especially since Peppino or anyone in Gloucester isn't hallucinating in any capacity. So I replaced those enemies with the denizens of that world; the Gloucester Police and the Rude Rats Gang. With both parties tying in with Geronimo's background, and for the latter case, a stand-in for the Lab Rats boss fight as the chapter's miniboss.
Speaking of, the Fourth Floor Guardian, Geronimo Despereaux, takes inspiration of not one, but TWO Rodent based characters. Both of them being hinted in his name.
The most obvious one, due to his appearance, is Geronimo Stilton from the eponymous book series. The color palette, the book that he uses for his spells (His ‘Pact Boon’ for all you DnD Nerds out there), even down to knowing Italian since the book series originated in Italy. Which is why there was some easter eggs from the books sprinkled throughout the last few chapters. One example being that there was 1 character in the series per trio of Employees, along with Mayor Petunia Prettypaws and Chief Hercule Poirat.
The second is based off of his personality and his weapon of choice, a rapier, which Despereaux from the book 'A Tale of Despereaux'. (Though technically it's a sewing needle due to his size.)
Geronimo is supposed to be a chivalrous hero willing to protect his people and home. Even going as far as putting their safety above his duties as a Tower Guardian. So the best way for Pizzahead to corrupt him is to reverse his priorities, forcing him to stay in the background and watch as civilians get hurt. Which for a hero like him, is a fate worse than death.
But there is a major reason for his choice of Classes. Being a Bard is a given seeing that he lives in a music-based world. As for being a Warlock, to finally provide the long answer to an Anon’s question:
Does Geronimo have any sort of sickness or medical condition?
Alluding to Rat God’s true nature in game as a virus in Mad Rat’s head, tricking him to get eaten by a cat in order to continue living.
To fully answer that:
Short answer: No
Long Answer: It’s to provide Rat God a role as his Patron, with this AU version changing her from an antagonistic living virus hellbent on staying alive, to a benevolent deity willing to look over the Ratfolk Race, with Geronimo as her Champion.
A thing that I'm beginning to do is to add cameos and minor roles from the media that each Floor is inspired from. Hell, after thinking of that and forgetting to do so for the First Floor, I'm half tempted to revise 2 Employees to add Lemeza and Lumisa from La Mulana 1&2 in there.
But after Geronimo's defeat, two heart to heart conversations with a Vigilante mention, and a Rat God cameo...
The Third Floor has been cleared.
However…
With a kidnapped Peppino forcibly removed from the party, Ella prepares to take his place to clear the next Floor.

Here’s a fun little game called Am I Talking About The Adventures of Tintin or The Hercule Poirot Series?
Someone is Belgian. Someone is probably English. Someone is a detective. Theres a lot of French being spoken. Most of it happens in Europe. There’s a concerning amount of cars. The detective has a gun. The detective has a sidekick he is probably married to. The detective is known as the greatest detective. Theres a lot of murder. The detective has killed someone. Theres a concerning amount of boats. The detective almost certainly has a mental disorder or illness. Moustaches. Lots of moustaches. Big fancy mansions with connections to the side character. The side characters life being put in danger so the detective rescues him.
Which have I just described to you. Hm. Which. Fucking which.
Dude I know the Hercule Poirot series would be right up my alley just because I like detective stories but in Geronimo Stilton theres a character called Hercule Poirat and I honestly cannot read it now knowing I'll be imaging this fuckign rodent with a gun asdfghgfdsdf
