Quiet and rainy

I know I have been quiet for a while, but I have been busy with getting but the retired horses and the young horses into their new rutine. A new horse also landed here today. It's a new boarding horse named Hermés, and he is the son of Ysabel's mare BOE Prada. He is 4 years old, and now owned by Ysabel, who needed a new horse after Prada retired earlier this month.

He has been owned by her for about three months, but has been send to another training stable to be broken in, as Ysabel - with her back injury - couldn't do that herself safely.

But now he has arrived, and even if he is still young he is a good boy, and has the best intentions when ridden. Ysabel hopes to enter him in his first dressage show next month or the month after, we will see when precisely later on.

It was definitely hard for Ysabel to retire Prada, but buying her son gave Ysabel the light back in her eyes. She wants to possibly geld him in a few months, as he is still very stallion-y, but we will see, as she possibly want to offer him as stud, if he does well in competitions over the next year or so.

I hope to post more pictures tomorrow or so, as I have some big news to reveal!

As stated before, refusing to grow and transition is not an option, but your attitude as you experience it is a choice you make; you can make it easier or harder on yourself by having an open mind. 

This year, you will be going from being a turtle to a tiger. You will no longer be allowed to take your time in regards to things in your life that are keeping you from growing into someone who is healthier and happier: mentally, physically, emotionally, and everywhere else. Being flexible does not entail not working hard though; find a balance between being hardworking and putting in effort and also being open to change and loss. There is a major emphasis on balance and being in control when it comes to your emotions but also overall this year. 

Overall, your lessons deal with being open to the change that comes with a new year and declaring that you’re ready for new things. You still need to put in work and go about life and strive to achieve what it is you want - in relationships, friendships, work, your daily life, and more, but you also need to be willing to let people and things go when the universe tells you they’re no longer serving or helping you. Thinking about how since ancient times, young girls and women were married off to their rapist to safeguard their honor. How they believed it was the only way to leave behind their shame and continue being respected in society. How there’s registers of women who wished to stay celibate (like Hera, the Greek goddess of marriage) and had to marry their abusers. Even the bible has such a law to protect a young maiden’s honor. How in a medieval society, marriage was the only escape from shame after failing to maintain yourself chaste.

How Criston Cole begged for his rapist to marry him and run away with him, so he wouldn’t be killed for failing his celibacy vow, and would be able to restore his honor, if not as a kingsguard, as a married man. How he was laughed at. How he tried to kill himself to get rid of his shame. How he thinks it was a failure of his character to be abused and taken advantage of.

Helly and Hera at the party they throw for bestie's birthday .

"Happy birthday Aunty Charlotte!" Hera squealed, as Charlotte set Baelon back down and went over to Hera. "Thank you, pretty girl." Charlotte smiled, kissing Hera's cheeks as Criston came over. "Hi Uncle Crisp," She smiled at Cole who was used to the name by now- thanks to Daemon, who told the kids to call him that since they were little. "Hey kiddo." He gruffly kissed her forehead. "What did you get Aunty Charlottte for her birthday?" She asked adorably. "Hm, well that's a secret little one," Criston said. Hera pouted. "Please?" Cole wavered and leaned in to whisper it to her. "Promise not to tell her?" He asked. "I super promise!" She said. "It's what Jae and I do when we make super important promises."

Nora and Saera. She finds it annoying that Daella is inviting Alerie over more but she holds her tongue, and tries her best to be nice- which is so hard.

Nora being distracted by her sweet girl does wonders for her softer nature; thankfully for Alerie.

Daemon is so mean to tell the children his nickname for Criston but its the cutest!

Solas changing his mind because he has something from his past grounding him is so on brand. He's so lonely and scared and he is convinced he was wrong hell tear the world down but seeing kids connected to it he just can't.

A world of tranquil but while he can accept that they're people he would always chase the idea of more. They could be more. But here is a group already more. He will protect.

Cole chooses to be himself and he is not bound. He'd still in the middle he always will be. Grover is happy he keeps his friend his friend. (there are no moments of Cole remembering his past and removing them. There is no cole losing his abilities. He is himself.)

Also laughing at the idea of people asking all of them what their godly parents are like and Solas becoming more and more determined to fuck up another pantheon with each anecdote. Particularly Zeus, Hera, and Athena because the shit they did to these kids (and huge number of other Athena kids in the past) was heinous.

The thing about wolves is that they’re loyal and for all he may have been named for his pride Solas would always define himself by his loyalty to his people. And now to these kids who are so like what once was.

Cole still having his powers and getting to keep his personality is so important to me and I’m so upset they made us force him to change. He deserved better and Grover will be there to make sure his friend gets better.

Lore Olympus Episode 243 Spoilers

Okay, so no magical infertility-fix.

Just leg-pregnancy.

That's a relief.

And the fact that I can say these sentences and genuinely mean them should tell you all you need to know about how dogshit this story has gotten.

I find it really funny how Zeus is continually raked over the coles by the narrative for his infidelity, but Hades and Hera are just completely let off the hook.

Also, Jesus Christ did this episode need a trigger warning for body horror and gore. There's this series of panels where Persephone cuts baby Dionysus out of Zeus' thigh and there's just blood everyhwere. It's incredibly nasty.

Seems now that Persephone stole a baby we can forget about the child deity who's still stuck in Tartarus with Kronos? We're not even gonna mention them once? Okay then.

God, I hate how Persephone just goes rage mode when Zeus says he's going to leave Dionysus in the care of nymphs. She acts like he just said he was gonna eat the baby alive. Honestly, Zeus' plan here is reasonable. Zeus and Hera are pretty subpar parents. Dionysus would probably be way happier with the nymphs. Recognizing that he's not parent material and leaving the child in the hands of someone more capable actually shows a lot of maturity on Zeus' part.

But no, we have to make Persie look good again, so lets just have her steal the baby and raise it as her own. Even though she has zero experience raising kids, is an emotional basketcase and bends under pressure quicker than a folding chair sat on by an elephant. Even though her hubby has already demonstrated that he's a shitty father and has the emotional maturity of a sixteen year old.

Zeus was tired of being just Zeus, especially now that his own Pantheon is a bit on the unemployed line of the godly affairs. Skipping Hera and just jumping into the Human World, he created the funny, incredibly lucky, albeit a little bit naive and funny, Giorgio. Giorgio, who no one knows how he ended up where he is, at the top head of a Mafia group that gives him money and protection.

But if you think it is all that serious, you are a bit wrong. Knowing of the impossibility of being killed by mortals in their daily disputes, he is reckless, often putting himself in the most silly dangerous situations. He is clumsy, loud, likes food and drinking and fucking and lives to complicate human matters for the simple sport of it.

Very few people know his true identity, including some of his godly sons and daughters. But in the human world, Francis his ex-lover and his son, Cole (along with Cole's family). Alfie, because of the secret service against gods and demons. Idris, because the witch knows it all and sometimes helps Zeus when his jokes turn too out of control and Jishnu, who keeps a tab on Zeus in case the god misbehaves too much.

As a human, he has an affair with the young wolf, Dagger, who tops him whenever the old man has an itch.

There was chaos in the throne room, the war was supposed to be over. Cregan had marched South after the dragon queen's death to fulfill his oath, and his younger brother Bran had marched with him to avenge his Velaryon lover. Cregan had ended the war, and taken King's Landing, although now the last of the Greens resistance had taken their last stand in the throne before the Iron Seat. Otto was face-to-face with Cregan, Criston between the two, and stood in front of Queen Alicent with his sword pointed at the Wolf's chest. Their warriors held at a stalemate, ready to attack one another at the slightest provocation. Lynesse stood to the side, holding Hera in her arms as people yelled and argued.

"You have no right!" Otto yelled, demanding Cregan to call his men off, to release the city. He began yelling again but stopped as there was a commotion outside the doors of the halls, the sound of fighting, yelling, and shouting. Next the doors of the hall burst open and warriors bearing the Velaryon and Targaryen sigil surged into the room, shoving people aside and cutting down a few of the Green warriors who charged at them.

"What is this?!" Alicent demanded looking at the warriors who stayed back a bit near the doors. However, they slowly started to part as someone stepped through. The warriors parted like water as someone walked into the throne room.

It was Jacaerys.

Dressed in black Targaryen garb, Prince Jacaerys emerged from the crowd, a ghost to all, as he had been presumed dead for nearly a year. He held his head high and his gaze was dark, serious, slightly amused. His hair was longer and curly, one of his eyes was a different color and he had a scar on the left side of his face, near his temple. But it was him nonetheless. He smirked softly and walked towards the throne, approaching Otto, Alicent, and Cole.

"Otto Hightower." Jacaerys breathed out, not looking at anyone else in the room, "How in the seven hells are you still alive?" He asked with a little chuckle, before glancing back at his warriors and gesturing with his head, "Take them. Now." His warriors surged forward and grabbed at the green warriors, who sent Cole to the floor and grabbed Alicent and Otto. Jace slowly turned his gaze to look up at the Iron Throne before slowly walking up the steps and standing before it. "You have no right!" Otto nearly screamed as Jace stood in front of the iron throne. Jacaerys turned smoothly and looked back out at Otto before finally letting his gaze wander over the crowded hall and looking back at Otto.

"I have the only right," Jacaerys said.
