okay i'm clearly on a journey through fandom memory lane but it really is wild to me that a random norwegian teen drama cracked the code on how to perfectly market and promote a show in the age of social media and NO ONE ELSE (besides the countries trying to create their own version of the same show ig) has emulated it?????????? like?????????? legitimate social media profiles for your characters????????? with posts and instagram stories from them that fit within the plot as well as offering a fun little extra insight into the characters/friendships/relationships?????? groundbreaking. i had instagram notifications turned on for FICITONAL CHARACTERS. one of your characters wants to be a director??? here's his real youtube channel with a video he made for his boyfriend's birthday full of never before seen clips that don't exist on the show?!?!?!?!?! unbelievable. you want your show to be immersive??? you want the audience to feel like they're living within the pov of your main character?? drop a clip/sneak peek in real time as it's supposed to happen in the episode so your audience is thinking about it 24/7. genius!!!!!! like can you imagine if circa 2018 everything didn't move to full season dumps and instead shows that aired on a weekly basis and incorporated even one of these things became the norm??????? we were robbed of what could've been

He's is poc as the description of the book says so and on top of that the author herself confirmed that he's not white. I was in the fandom back in the days Fourth Wing just came out and I remember her reply to someone's comment. He's not tanned under the sun or whatever, He. Is. Not. White.

So when you make one of those ugly AI "arts" and say "this is how I imagined him" when people tell you so or you fancast him with a white actor, I know you haven't read the books (or you don't care). And when they actually cast him with a poc actor y'all will throw tantrum and saying "tHiS iS nOt mY XaDaN"...

Going through Taylor instagram post for rwrb related I have to laugh at his banter with Nick 😂 they really are doing the “bits” everywhere they could huh?

This started from here when he post their pictures together and Nick commented “why have you uploaded the same photos twice” 😂😭 yes Taylor did. You could see there were 4 pictures but it’s just 2 same pictures twice 😂😂

Another time when he posted about their GQ cover together. You see there were 4 pictures as well guess what? It’s the same picture! 4 times posted 😂 I feel like this time he posted it just to annoyed Nick Istg

Also there’s a really heartfelt thing he wrote under the GQ cover that I love, it’s such a precious moment for him to finally be on GQ cover because he has history with it with his Dad and he got to share his first GQ cover with Nick! This is history people.

Another time when he posted this picture? He quoted nick but didn’t actually tag him I wonder why. He likes what Nick said because

Also one more post where he also basically just post the same picture four time 😂 Taylor! He just complained once! But you make it as “our” thing. Too precious to handle.

Also whenever Nick has time to comment all he did just asking questions 😭😭 why are they so adorable together. Literally can’t stop laughing just from observing the ig banter alone. They do serve comedy without even trying.

(Another thing worth mentioning that I think quite adorable is the fact that they have almost the same ig followers, like they grow together in term of popularity because of this project? Don’t know how many ig followers they have before rwrb but I just think it’s quite neat lol)

Basque region sirloin steaks, dry brined overnight. Served with Garlic mushrooms and oven chips! The steaks came out a touch above what I prefer temp wise, but were delicious all the same!
