You’ve been at the French court for two years now as the lady of the queen of France. You were born in England though. One day you heard a great news. The king of England will be coming to France to meet king François.

When the day came, you, as the queens maid were invited to the place where the meeting was about to happen. After the years of speaking just French, you’ve been quite scared that you’ve forgotten to speak your mother tongue. In the past two years you’ve only spoken English with the Boleyn sisters, the daughters of the English ambassador in France, Sir Thomas Boleyn.

The meeting has soon changed into a big party with some sword and wrestling fights and gallons of wine. Even the kings themselves had a wrestling fight. At this time, however, you had some better things to do. You had an eye on one of the English kings adjutants. Tall, well-build, handsome man with ocean blue eyes and flirty cocksure smile. You were pretty sure that you aren’t the first girl he’s smiling at. You were even sure he’s the type of guy who has one girl per night. Maybe even more. But his charisma was stronger than you. The longer he was staring at you, the more you were falling for him. You knew he’s gonna be yours tonight, you’re gonna be his.
