This movie is so inconsistent with previous lore. I'm trying so hard to enjoy it. Whoever's dumbass decision it was to focus on the box instead of more Pinhead - I feel like it was probably Clive tbh

Angelique is interesting but I do not care for the incarnations of Le Merchand, nor Pinhead referring to her as a "princess". Part of the intrigue of the box and the Cenobites is the concept of "demons to some, angels to others", which doesn't really make any sense if it is literally Christian hell. I like the ambiguity of BDSM hell.

But Pinhead was just on screen patting a dove and said "human acquiescence is as easily obtained by terror as by temptation" and I will be using that in my fanfic.

Also he said "I grow impatient with the princess", which is funny because a while ago I went back and re-wrote lines of my fic because Pinhead doesn't seem the type to grow impatient, and I had him literally saying "I grow impatient" . He's an immortal demon and an evil dom wtf has he got to be impatient about?
