Meeting Trish Stratus & Lita during the Niagara Falls Comic Con (June 10th, 2023)

Yes, I met Trish Stratus for the first time AND Lita for the second time on Saturday !! In fact, this trip to Niagara Falls was planned a long time ago as a part of my sabbatical in Canada. I was very excited because it was also the first official schedule of Team Bestie since their match at Wrestlemania 39 ! 

The trip from Toronto was very smooth, as well as the organization for the entrance of the attendees (I arrived at the venue at 9:30 AM). The problems began when we started to wait in line for the autographs and selfies sessions. The staff was asking us to wait in a ‘snake line’ ; as a result, many people didn’t know where the lines would start or finish. It was very confusing, to say the least. There was also a different line for people with VIP passes and priority ticket holders ; even though the normal line was at capacity, the staff still let them enter, causing frustration and more waiting. This was the only flaw though, because everything went out pretty well during the day. 

The first person I went to meet was Trish : she was super nice !! She said ‘Hello, nice to meet you!’ and asked me my name for the autograph ; as she was signing, I told her that I was from France and she started to speak French a bit ! Her accent was very cute, if I may add ! I then explained that I was studying English in order to get a promotion at my job, and she asked me what I was doing for a living. She then surprised me by telling me that my English was actually quite good, and we kept on talking when she asked me my opinion about living in Toronto. We took the selfie picture and I gave her my letter ; she thanked me by holding my hand. I said that I would see her later for the Op and she HUGGED ME. I was so overwhelmed that I forgot to take the autographed picture while leaving her booth, so she had to give it to me ahaha It was so unreal, because even though the line was very long, she still took the time to have a real conversation with me. She had a way of making every person feel special... She is simply amazing !

After that, I quickly grabbed my lunch and started to get in line for the Photo Op I had with both Trish & Lita. Like in every Photo Op photoshoot, you have to be quick and efficient. Sweet detail : before the picture, Amy stroked my back to calm me 😢 . Once the picture was taken, I said my goodbyes and left. I didn’t have the time to register what happened because I had to get in line for the last time of the day for Amy !

In this particular case, the waiting was bearable ; I noticed that the lines were generally less longer than with Trish (the “local wrestling legend” effect?). Cute story : the Kenz was there ! She was in a bag near to Amy’s feet. Amy only took her out once, but I think the Kenz was napping the rest of the time. Another cute story : Amy’s agent during this event was a French woman ! She found out when she heard my accent while I bought the combo I wanted. Anyway, I went to Amy, introduced myself and told her that it was the second time we met, to which she replied, “Really? It’s nice to see you again!”. I told her that I was French so she asked me what I was doing in Canada ; I explained to her the same I did with Trish. I admitted that I felt more comfortable than in 2017 because my English was better, and she happily said “it’s ok, also because we are among friends, right?”. We took a picture together and I gave my other letter to her ; she complimented the origami envelope I did for it and put it in her bag (she told me that she would read it in the evening). She wished me good luck for my studies and we said our goodbyes. Our whole interaction really warmed my heart.  

As a conclusion, I would say that this day was probably one of the best in my life. Lots of waiting but lots of emotions and a good spirit in general. Canadian wrestling fans are very funny and passionate, it was a pleasure to talk to some of them. I am very proud of being a fan of such gracious, kind and beautiful women. If you have the opportunity to meet them, you should definitely go, it is truly worth it.

Hello! What do you think about Belle's socionics type in 1991 ver and 2017 ver? I think the Live-Action one is an EII and the animated one is an IEI. But I want to ask your opinion tho, because I'm not good at putting my thoughts into word.

Hi there,

I agree that the 2017 Live-Action version of Belle leads with Fi, but I would say ESI over EII. In that movie, she's described as "strong-willed" and takes action quickly without hesitation. She's very forceful about doing what she thinks is right, which points to Se serving as a tool to implement Fi judgments. She doesn't spend any time contemplating the possible options, the way an EII would - she is decisive and acts immediately. Her intuition also seems to be weak. She likes to read books, but unlike the animated Belle, she doesn't read primarily to feed her imagination or daydream. Instead, she reads to gain practical knowledge and information, which she then puts into action through her inventions.

The animated Belle seems to be the EII. If she were an IEI, I think she would have been more compatible with Gaston. Gaston leads with Se and has an "aggressor" romance style - he wants to "conquer" Belle, which is exactly one of the things she hates about him. In contrast, an IEI would actually respond well to that kind of approach. IEIs typically want someone to fearlessly overcome obstacles to pursue and conquer them. With Se in the suggestive position, the IEI is impressed by someone who shows their strength and power. They naturally desire the bold leader, like Gaston, who does not let anyone stop them. Gaston is a hunter. He is competitive and not hesitant to go after what he wants, even with resistance. He does not back down easily. These traits would be impressive to IEIs (and ILIs) with the suggestive Se. However, this would not typically impress the EII, who with unvalued, painful Se would see such displays of strength as crass and excessive, and would see Gaston's persistence as invasive and disrespectful rather than courageous (which is what Belle does).

This is just a brief analysis for now, but I have both versions of Belle on my typing list and plan to be adding them in the near future.

1. I've been drawing since I can remember, maybe since I was 6. However, I got more into it at age 11, and finally started to take my time to improve since 16.

2. I'm not new to Tumblr, I was here in 2014 but left in 2017 I think.

3. It definitely changed since I was here last time, but it's nicer, that's for sure.

4. I'm on many platforms but recently I started to leave some behind. Twitter, Pixiv, Artfol, Gamejolt, those are those I use the most.

Como começar a falar dessa música maravilhosa que ganhou uma versão tão linda e emocionante?!

Hello versão 2017 me emocionou bastante, ouvi-los cantar essa música de uma maneira diferente e ouvir a emoção em suas vozes; principalmente na voz do meu bias o JR, sua emoção era nítida; ficou algo muito lindo, e mesmo o Minhyun não tendo cantado nós podemos sentir a participação dele nessa música de alguma maneira, pois ele também faz parte dessa história!
