âRejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.â â1 Thessalonians 5:16
âIn all circumstances part 1: trust in God's characterâ By Antique Candle Co.:
âWhy is it that we most often seek the Lord during the valleys of life? We know from His Word that He wants us to seek Him in every season. During the peaks, with moments of great joy and celebration; during the valleys, in times of worry and uncertainty. Not only does He desire His children to seek Him out, but He calls us to be faithful in all circumstances.
âTrust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding...â âProverbs 3:5
Trusting in the Lord's character allows us to find hope in every situation. It's not just about trusting God to get us through the difficult moments, but fully trusting in who He is, which extends to every moment of life.
So what is God's character? Many things. God cannot be compared to anything else in all creation. He created all things. Therefore, there are some attributes of Christ we can and cannot understand. We can't understand being 'unchanging' or 'all-knowing' ourselves because, as we are finite beings, we are neither. However, His Word tells us these truths about Him so that we may trust the characteristics that are unique to God alone. We can see and acknowledge the truth of His character in the Word and in our own lives.
GOD IS UNCHANGING:
âJesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.â âHebrews 13:8
âEvery good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.â âJames 1:17
GOD IS FAITHFUL:
â...if we are faithless, he remains faithfulâfor he cannot deny himself.â â2 Timothy 2:13
âThe Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever and his faithfulness to all generations.â âPsalm 100:5
GOD IS ALL-KNOWING:
âHe who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see? He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledgeâthe Lordâknows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath.â âPsalm 94:9
GOD IS SOVEREIGN:
âFor from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.â âRomans 11:36
âIn him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight.â âEphesians 1:7-8
âAnd we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.â âRomans 8:28
âAnd this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.â âMatthew 24:14
Place your trust in a God who is unchanging, faithful, all-knowing, sovereign, and so much more. In all circumstances, His character is something that will never fail.â

Living His Word
Keep your lives free from the love of money. And be satisfied with what you have. God has said, "I will never leave you; Â Â I will never run away from you." - Hebrews 13:5
There is nothing wrong with money per se. We need it. We need it most every day. It's a very useful tool with which to conduct commercial and financial transactions. Without money we would have to go back to the days of barter. We would have to lug our possessions around every time we wanted to improve ourselves financially. Money is one of the best inventions of humankind.
The problem is not money, but the love of money. The Apostle Paul said, "The love of money causes all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10). The problems begin when people live to make and receive money. Instead of living to serve and love God, they live to acquire as much money as they can. That's why Paul went on to say in I Timothy that some people have even "turned away from what we believe because they want to get more and more money." Instead of living meaningful lives in obedience to God, they squandered their lives "trying to catch the wind" (Ecclesiastes 1:14).
Money is like the wind. It's difficult to hold on to. You never really catch it. You never really catch as much as you want. It has a way of eluding your grasp and slipping through your fingers. The minute you think you have enough of it the stock market dips, or the banks fail, or thieves steal some of it, or inflation reduces its value. Chasing after money is like trying to catch the wind because, like everything else in created reality, money is here today and gone tomorrow. It doesn't make much sense, therefore, to build your life around its acquisition.
It's much better to serve and love God than money, because He will always be there for you. When we place God first in our lives everything else falls into place, everything else falls into the subsidiary positions where they belong. When we place God first we still make and use money, but we don't live for it. We still do what we can to improve ourselves financially, but we're also satisfied with what we have. We're satisfied because we trust God to take care of us, not money.
Unlike money, He will never leave us; He will never run away from us.

"I'm Not Good Enough" is Only One of the Lies
âIâm not good enoughâ is only one of the lies we tell ourselves. Moreover, this is what I told myself most of my life along with other lies like âYouâre not good enoughâ, âYouâll never amount to anythingâ, âYouâre too fatâ, âYouâre not pretty enoughâ, and the like. What Lies Do You Tell Yourself? I guess the point that Iâm trying to make is that these are lies. So, why did I continue to believeâŠ

The New Testament Instructions for the Use of Music in Worship
Todayâs Christians are under a strong delusion believing that church worship music is what is being played in many Christianâs airways are the musical praises to Almighty God. Before you can argue with that statement, letâs read the Bible for acceptable references for musical worship. KNOW WHICH WILL?
How are we to know God's will with certainty - and in what way is God's will ours to know? In this article, explore the two expressions of God's will, and five practical ways we can seek to know His will in the difficult decisions of this life.
How does the Bible describe Godâs will, and in what way, if any, are we called to know it? David is a bright young high school senior trying to make sense of the near-endless buffet of colleges and degree programs available to him. David is a Christian, and has been told that if he seeks God and prays for guidance, God will clearly direct his path. But despite months of praying, heâs still asâŠ

â12 Promises of God to Lean Onâ By Instaencouragements.com:
âLeaning on the promises of God means relying on the assurances that He has given us through His Word, the Bible.
God's promises are trustworthy and provide comfort, guidance, and hope to believers.
When we lean on these promises and trust in God's faithfulness, we find peace. Peace that passes all human understanding. Peace that sustains us in the midst of difficult circumstances. Peace that assures us that God is in control.
It's important that we read and meditate on God's Word regularly. When we do, we will be reminded of His promises and to deepen our trust in Him.
âToday, let's look at 12 of His promises and meditate on the Scripture where they are found.
12 promises of God we can confidently lean on today:
1. God will fight for you: âThe Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.â âExodus 14:14
2. God will go before you: âIt is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.â âDeuteronomy 31:8
3. God will be with you: âHave I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.â âJoshua 1:9
4. God will renew you: âBut they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.â âIsaiah 40:31
5. God will strengthen you: âFear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.â âIsaiah 41:10
6. God will be your Shepherd: âThe Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.â âPsalm 23:1
7. God will deliver you: âWhen the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.â âPsalm 34:17
8. God will counsel you: âI will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.â âPsalm 32:8
9. God loves you: âFor God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.â âJohn 3:16
10. God will make all things work for your good: âAnd we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.â âRomans 8:28
11. God will never leave you: âKeep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.â âHebrews 13:5
12. God will guard you: âAnd the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.â âPhilippians 4:7
