Hey I saw your latest post and I wanted to ask if you have any resources about eating vegan! (recipes, getting started, etc.) I'm honestly so tired of the "vegans are annoying and obnoxious" stereotype too
Sure!
The first thing to know is that you'll want to ease into it. This is a big change to your diet, and that can affect you in lots of different ways while you're adjusting. One good idea is to adopt a vegetarian diet first, and then switch to vegan once you're used to that.
The only supplements you definitely want to make sure you're getting are Vitamin D and a Vitamin B complex (just make sure it has B12 in it specifically).
Everything after this comes with the caveat that I don't know your particular living situation, dietary habits, or overall health, so this advice is pretty general. Take or leave it as it works for you.

General Tips
Focus on seeking out ways to eat more plants, not on avoiding things. Focusing on the positive side of things makes the whole situation a lot easier, because you won't be thinking about stuff you're missing out on. If you're deliberately filling your pantry with plant-based foods that you enjoy, you'll find that you don't miss the things you used to eat so much. After a while, you'll stop craving things like meat and dairy.
Cutting cheese out of your diet is the hardest part. Turns out that cheese contains a protein called casein which, when you digest it, breaks down into chemicals that have a similar effect on your brain to microdosing cocaine. Be prepared to go through a week or two of bizarrely strong cheese craving when you stop eating it.
You don't have to be a fancy cook to be vegan. Obviously, there's a lot of fresh fruit and veg that you can just eat raw. But there's a lot of other stuff that's super easy that requires almost no prep. I'm a lazy bastard when it comes to my food, and I have no problems. Some of my go-to meals include: spaghetti (I use cheap jarred sauce most of the time), simple curries, rice and beans (plus whatever the fuck spices I feel like), potatoes in every form imaginable, peanut butter and jelly, chips and salsa, chips and bean dip, and oatmeal.
You don't have to pay exorbitant prices to get vegan snacks. There are a lot of companies nowadays producing vegan versions of common snack foods, and they are fucking expensive. However, lots of favorite, cheap snacks are already vegan! Off the top of my head: Oreos and many other cheap packaged cookies, most flavors of Pop-Tarts, almost any candy that isn't chocolate, a lot of chips, dark chocolate (70% cacao or higher), french fries, and popcorn are all good ones.
Fruits and veggies will get tastier the more you eat them. At this point, I'm as happy sitting and eating grapes, cherries, fresh green-beans, or frozen peas as I ever was eating candy. And I don't feel wretched afterwards.
Learn what produce is seasonal in your area. Fresh produce is absurdly expensive, but if you know what's in season at any time, you can take advantage of sales. This has the added benefit of putting some variety in your diet throughout the year.
Preserved produce is just as good as fresh. Frozen, dried, or canned fruit and vegetables are all delicious, often cheaper than fresh, and don't have any nutritional deficiency to speak of. If you're eating canned things, don't throw out the juice though! A lot of the good stuffs in the plants end up in the juice (basically it gets steeped out), so it's best to use that in your dish. Pickled foods are not only tasty, but they have great probiotics in them, and they're a lifesaver in hot weather if you're having trouble staying hydrated.
Add oil and salt! People get a lot of oil and salts from animal products, and if you don't replace those somehow, you may find yourself feeling hungry all the time. Also, adding oil and salt to veggies makes it easier for your body to digest them efficiently.
Roast those veggies! Pretty much any fresh vegetable can be roasted with oil and seasonings to turn it into a delicious meal. If you have an air-fryer, that's also a fucking excellent option.
Legumes are life. Beans and lentils are top notch friends for the vegan, and they can be added to almost any dish.
Peanut butter. If you can eat peanut butter, it's got soooo much fucking good stuff in it.
Tofu is bullshit most of the time. Ok, it's not, but I usually find it to be more of a pain in the ass than it's worth.
Fake meat is overrated. Some of it's definitely tasty, and if you're still feeling very emotionally attached to certain meat-based dishes, it's really helpful. But it's also not necessary. And honestly, it's been long enough since I ate meat that I find the stuff that really tries to mimic meat deeply unsettling and kinda gross. Speaking of which:
You'll start being grossed out by meat and dairy after a while. It's not a performative moral thing, your body just starts being grossed out by it.
Once you stop eating animal products, you will eventually stop being able to digest them. At this point, I am incredibly lactose intolerant, and even tiny amounts of meat or animal fat in my food will make me sick as fuck. Turns out, a significant amount of your digestion is actually done by your gut flora, and there are specific species of microbes in your guts that help you digest different foods. If you go long enough without animal products, the microbes you need to digest those will all die, and you can't actually digest them at all any more.
Things to keep on hand:
Spice blends! Try out a bunch of different ones and then just keep a few bottles of your favs around the house. They can be sprinkled on veggies, tossed into pasta dishes or soups, added to stir-fries, etc. They're especially great if you don't generally cook much and don't have a huge knowledge base for what spices go well together.
Nutritional yeast. This can be a bit expensive, but it's so worth it if you can swing it. It's a kind of yeast that's been dried into flakes, and it's great for putting on some things in place of cheese. I mostly use it for spaghetti and popcorn. It's got a very nice savory flavor.
(Personal) Plant milk. You don't need this by any stretch, but I like having it for oatmeal, smoothies, and baking. Almond milk is usually the cheapest, which I'm not super happy about. Oat milk is my favorite, but for some reason it's way more expensive (making your own oat milk is actually super easy, but I wouldn't expect most people to go to that much trouble).
Cooking
Like I said earlier, you really don't have to be a fancy cook to eat vegan. However, learning a few recipes that you can pull out as stock meals will make life way easier. If there's a specific dish you want to learn how to make vegan, the easiest thing is to just go online and search for "vegan [dish] recipe."
One thing I cannot recommend highly enough is the cookbook Supermarket Vegan by Donna Klein. It's a simple, affordable cookbook that's focused on recipes that can be made of ordinary ingredients. It has a huge variety of different sorts of dishes from all around the world. They range from super easy snacks to main dishes that you could use as the centerpiece for a fancy meal. And the instructions are clear and concise, easy for even a beginner cook to follow. If you get a copy of this book and start basing your meals off the recipes here, it'll probably be a lot easier to make the switch, because you'll have a plethora of tasty foods to make!
Honestly, the most difficult adjustment to cooking vegan is baking. Most things can be adapted, but it takes a bit more know-how and understanding of what roles various ingredients are playing in a dish. And by various ingredients I mostly mean eggs.
Eating Out
This is generally the biggest pain in the ass for vegans. For one thing, it's amazing how many people just. Don't get what being vegan means. Be prepared for some awkward family dinners or parties where there's not a lot available to you.
When it comes to actual restaurants, your best bets are generally going to be Indian, Eastern Mediterranean, Ethiopian, Thai, and higher-end Central/South American. These places are the most likely to serve a variety of dishes that don't have any animal products in them by default.
If you like coffee drinks, ask for soy or oat milk when you order. They steam better than almond milk, which tends to curdle because of the acidity of the coffee.
Lastly, and this is definitely localized to where I live, Taco Bell is my absolute go-to for fast food. Almost none of their default items are vegan, but they're good about customizing things. My usual order is: Cheesy bean and rice burrito, no cheese sauce, no creamy jalapeño sauce, add black beans, add potatoes, add red sauce, and grilled.
Last Thoughts
Despite what a lot of people think, being vegan is easy once you adapt to it. It's suitable to any food budget, allows for a wide variety of different foods, and is just as healthy as any other decent diet. You might go through a couple months at the beginning that feel a bit rough, but dietary changes are a big deal and always take some adjustment. If you stick with it, you're likely to discover that you actually start feeling a lot better and more energetic than you did before.
Most importantly, be yourself and have fun! It's not a contest, and any benefit you want to see from adopting a vegan diet is still going to happen if you only manage to partly change how you eat.

How to lose weight
For most people who are overweight or obese, the safest and most effective way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more. If you eat less and exercise more, you will lose weight. It's as simple as that. There are no magic pills. Diets that sound too good to be true are just that.
Effective weight loss plans include several parts. You will find tips for achieving these goals in the next sections.
Eating less: Unless you eat fewer calories than your body uses, you will not lose weight.
Physical activity: Any good diet plan will include physical activity. Physical activity burns calories and is one less opportunity to eat during the day. You should exercise for at least 30 minutes, five times a week. Regular exercise also has many other health benefits.
Change in habits and attitudes: Most people have enough willpower to lose weight for a few weeks. To lose enough weight to improve your health and keep it off, you will need to change the way you think about food and exercise. As you eat, try to understand some of the hidden reasons you eat. You can learn to spot situations in which you overeat and head off the overeating. You can learn to enjoy eating less and being active.
Support: Many people find that enlisting friends, family, and coworkers for support is helpful in losing weight. Others prefer groups such as Weight Watchers or Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) to keep them motivated. The important thing is to seek the support you need to achieve your goals.
Drastic changes in eating habits, such as not eating at all (fasting), are usually unsuccessful. Eating too few calories causes your metabolism to slow down, meaning the body burns fewer calories.

Eating Less
Pay attention to serving sizes (portion control). Read food labels to find out how many calories and fat calories are in a serving. Keep a food diary or log to find ways to eliminate extra calories.
Eat fewer calories. By decreasing calorie intake by 500 per day, you will lose 1 pound a week. One way to eat fewer calories is to limit your fat intake. No more than 30% of your daily calorie intake should be fat calories.
Foods that contain large amounts of fat might surprise you. Many types of baked goods, such as crackers, cookies, cakes, pancakes, waffles, pastries, and special breads, have high fat levels. So do many prepared, convenience, and take-out foods.
Fat-free foods are not necessarily low-calorie foods. Fat-free versions of popular snacks often contain simple carbohydrates that are rapidly absorbed and converted to body fat if consumed in excess.
Eat fat-free or low-fat dairy products such as cheese or frozen yogurt. Consider changing from whole milk to skim milk.
Substitute egg whites or a product such as Eggbeaters for whole eggs.
If you eat meat, eat it in moderation. Lean meats, skinless chicken and turkey, and seafood are good choices.

Low-fat foods such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes will help you feel full. This helps you lose weight or control your weight.
Avoid sugary foods such as candies, jellies and jams, honey, and syrups. These foods offer little nutritional value and tend to be converted to fat quickly.
Limit alcoholic beverages, which provide empty calories -- calories that have no other nutritional value. Women should have no more than one alcoholic drink and men no more than two alcoholic drinks a day. An alcoholic drink is 4 ounces of wine, 12 ounces (one standard bottle or can) of beer, or ½ ounce of distilled liquor.
Don't stop eating altogether. Fasting may result in rapid weight loss, but most of this weight will be water and possibly even muscle. Your body slows its metabolism, making it very difficult to maintain any weight loss.

When walking for weight loss, distance is important, not speed. Wear a pedometer to measure your steps and then find ways to add steps during your daily activity.
To exercise, walk at a pace and distance that puts no strain on the body. Set reasonable goals. If you walk until you become tired, you will be exhausted when you stop.
Walk with smooth, rhythmic motions at an easy pace.
Each time you walk, walk slowly for the first five minutes to warm up. After five minutes, walk for 10 minutes at a faster rate if you can. Do not overdo it. You may stop to rest at any time.
When you have walked for 10 minutes without stopping, your first goal has been reached. The new goal should be to walk for a little longer time (say, 12 minutes). Continue to set new goals without overdoing it. It is important not to walk too fast or too long.

Ride your bicycle to work or to the store.
Buy an exercise bike and pedal while watching TV or talking on the phone. Keep track of your mileage.

Even weekend chores use calories if you do them the physical way.
Skip the riding lawn mower and use a push mower.
Wash your car manually.
Use a rake, hoe, and shovel for gardening chores.
Exercise tips
To let your skin breathe during workouts, wear loose clothing. Wear comfortable jogging shoes or sneakers.
Drink plenty of water before and after exercising. This will replace water lost by perspiration and prevent dehydration. If you want to carry a water bottle, you can drink while exercising.
Check your pulse rate frequently (every five minutes) while exercising.
Normal resting pulse rate may vary between 60 and 90 beats per minute.
Your pulse should increase somewhat while exercising. The pulse rate may increase up to 120. It is normal to become somewhat short of breath. If you are so short of breath that you cannot speak comfortably, stop for a rest and then continue at a slower rate.
While exercising, make it a point not to hold your breath. Holding your breath deprives the body of oxygen. Inhale with one movement, and exhale with another.
Do not continue exercising if you feel pain. Stop and take a break. If you continue to feel pain, talk to a health care professional.
Keep a record of your activity. You will see progress over time.

Changing your habits
Eat slowly and chew your food well. This helps you feel satisfied with less food.
The amount of food you eat is more important that the type of food. Think portion control. Familiarize yourself with official serving sizes, and measure and weigh foods accordingly.
Keep a record of when you eat, what you eat, and how much. This will help you spot situations in which you tend to overeat.
Avoid or limit comfort foods which are easily eaten foods (such as macaroni and cheese, ice cream, chocolate) that are used to modify your mood.
Don't give in to food cravings. These are typically foods with a high sugar content that cause your brain to release hormones that temporarily make you feel happy. These foods have addictive properties, so once you start eating them, it's difficult to stop.
Do not skip meals, especially breakfast. You will just be hungrier and more likely to overeat at the next meal.
Do not read or watch television while you eat.
Reduce your appetite by drinking one glass of water 30 minutes before each meal. If your stomach is not empty, food does not look as appetizing.
Drinking tea (especially green tea, white tea, and pu-erh tea) has also been suggested as a weight loss aid. Tea may contain caffeine, which acts as a stimulant. Tea also has no calories (assuming you don't add sugar or milk). Much like drinking water, drinking tea can make you feel full, thereby suppressing your appetite and reducing food cravings.
Stock your refrigerator with healthy, low-calorie foods. Snack on baby carrots instead of microwave popcorn. Don't keep high-fat snacks around the house.

Staying motivated

There are too many weight-loss diet plans to address each of them here. A few are discussed below.
Dean Ornish Diet
This is a very strict low-fat diet. Besides causing you to lose weight, it also decreases your cholesterol and has been scientifically proven to reverse coronary artery disease. Some people on this diet have decreased the size of the plaques in the arteries supplying the heart, thereby avoiding the need for open-heart bypass surgery.
The diet involves intensive lifestyle changes.
A vegetarian diet that includes 10% fat calories
Moderate aerobic exercise
Stress-management training including yoga and meditation
Smoking cessation
Group psychosocial support
Caution: The American Heart Association cautions that very low-fat diets may increase triglycerides. Increasing exercise and taking a flaxseed or fish oil supplement can minimize this risk.
Very low-fat diets may be difficult for all but the most motivated and disciplined people.
The Atkins Diet
This diet restricts carbohydrates. The introduction phase (two weeks or more) restricts carbohydrates to less than 20 grams per day. This excludes most fruits and vegetables and relies on a diet of mostly animal fats and protein.
It is true that simple carbohydrates, such as sugar and white flour, pasta, and rice, and alcohol, are rapidly absorbed and cause weight gain when consumed in excess. They should be avoided by people who are overweight or obese.
On the other hand, complex carbohydrates such as whole grains, brown rice, fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and soy products are rich in fiber, which slows their absorption. In moderation, they are excellent food choices for overweight and obese people. They should make up a significant proportion of the diet. And yet these are also strictly limited by the Atkins diet.
Numerous studies have shown that excess animal protein in the diet increases the risks of breast and prostate cancers, heart disease, kidney disease, and osteoporosis. Fats and proteins break down in the body to substances called ketones. The large amounts of fat and protein in the Atkins diet are likely to cause an excess of ketones in the body, a condition called ketosis.
Caution: This diet may not be appropriate for people with diabetes, and its safety in pregnant or breastfeeding women has not been established. It also establishes unhealthy eating habits.
The hCG Diet
Human chorionic gonadotropin is a hormone produced during pregnancy. This new diet plan claims that HCG can suppress appetite. The FDA, however, has not approved HCG for weight loss, and it must be prescribed by a physician. Over-the-counter preparations are often labeled as "homeopathic" but contain very little, if any, of the actual hormone. People lose weight on this diet because the plan calls for a restriction of calories to 500 per day. This is not healthy, and one is likely to regain any weight lost during the severe calorie restriction.

Medications and Surgery for Obesity
For people who are overweight and have been unable to lose weight with diet and exercise, consulting a weight-loss clinic may help. There are several prescription diet pills that are now available.
Sibutramine (Meridia) is a prescription medication approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1996. It may be recommended for people who are more than 30 pounds overweight. In clinical trials, people who took this drug lost an average of 5%-10% of their body weight. It may also help to keep weight off. It works by making the person feel full and thereby decreases food intake. It may cause an increase in blood pressure and should not be used by people who are on a number of other medications, such as antidepressants.
Orlistat (Xenical 120 mg by prescription or Alli 60 mg available over the counter) is a medication approved by the FDA in 1999. Your doctor may prescribe it if you weigh more than 30% over your healthy body weight or have a BMI greater than 30. Over one year, people who followed a weight-loss diet and took orlistat lost an average of 13.4 pounds, almost 8 pounds more than people who used diet alone to lose weight. It works by reducing the absorption of fat from the intestine. Diarrhea and incontinence of stool may be side effects of this medicine.
Lorcaserin (Belviq 10 mg one to two times daily) was just approved by the FDA in June 2012. It may be considered if your BMI is 30 or greater or if you have a BMI greater than 27 with weight-related conditions. Studies demonstrated that almost half of patients lost an average of 5% of their body weight when combined with diet and exercise (compared to 25% of patients with diet and exercise alone). Lorcaserin works by activating the serotonin 2C receptor in the brain, which helps you feel full after smaller portions. The most common side effects were headache, nausea, and dizziness.
Qsymia (combination of phentermine and topiramate) was just approved by the FDA in July 2012. It is only approved for those with a BMI greater than 27 with weight-related conditions. When combined with diet and exercise, studies have shown that half of the participants lost 10% of their body weight and four-fifths lost 5% (which equates to 12 pounds in a 227-pound person). Topiramate is associated with a high risk of birth defects such as cleft lip and palate. Phentermine (an appetite suppressant) was one of the ingredients in fen-phen and is associated with an elevation in heart rate. Because of these potentially serious side effects, Qsymia is only available through mail order. Other side effects include tingling, dizziness, alterations in taste, insomnia, dry mouth, and constipation.
Surgery to correct obesity (known as bariatric surgery) is a solution for some obese people who cannot lose weight on their own or have severe obesity-related medical problems. Generally, surgery is recommended only for morbidly obese people (body mass index 40 or greater) or for those with a BMI of 35 and greater or who have weight related-conditions. This generally means men who are at least 100 pounds overweight and women who are at least 80 pounds overweight.

A Seat at Our Table
      Our eating habits are socially constructed; what we eat, as well as when and how we eat, is often regarded as a social practice that has been predetermined by our culture. Different cultures consume different food under different setting and circumstances, but one key component is usually present in this practice, that is social interaction. Food is the introduction to building community and relationships, although it is necessary to live, it is often viewed in celebratory or ritualistic association in a social setting. However, in recent years in western culture, predominantly in America we have begun to take the togetherness out of our eating habits. We view food and a chore that keeps us alive and not as chances for celebration and social interaction. Americans are eating more on the go, in their cars, at their desks at work, or in front of the TV. The Standard American Diet (SAD), is a diet that often consists of high amounts of red meats, fats, refined grains and sugars, sodium, and highly processed and packaged meats and foods. This western diet is advancing around the world, and McDonalds and Americanization is spreading like a disease. The western diet is not just about the food, its about the lifestyle and many of these foods are marketed towards young busy people and what really is being sold is convenience in a box or at the drive thru. The only thing certain is change, and throughout our history we have changed and advanced, currently the food we eat has changed so much our great-grandparents may not even recognize some of it as food. We also seek out to change cultural perspectives by changing the good foods that have been around. Americanized Mexican foods, Asian foods, and Italian foods seem to be a favorite, we have manipulated these foods by adding extra sugars, salts, preservatives and “special sauces” until they are no longer culturally relevant and take on a new form.  We have over packaged, over processed, over marketed and signed over too much power to our food industry.
      The French aren’t as fat as Americans, and that makes us angry. The French diet typically consists of full-fat cheese and yogurt, butter, breads, and lots of wine. Though the French diet is full of cheese, wine, and bread (foods that are not typically consider overly healthy) they have low rates of heart disease and obesity. The catchphrase “French Paradox” is often used in nutritional literature to describe this trend in data and is what makes us Americans so angry, but it all comes down to the culture of the French rather than the science of the food. The French typically eat full three course meals and eat for over two hours a day, globally the people in France spend more time eating that any other country. Americans spend the least amount of time at the table compared to other countries in the world, eating for only an hour a day (Bourget, 2018). This brings back to the topic earlier discussed about the American lifestyle and the newfound convenience of our meals that challenge social growth. In a study conducted by NPR and Harvard School of Public Health found that the ideal image of family dinners is beginning to fade. According to the study, “most children are in households where a parent says it is important that the family eats together, but for almost half (46%) this is difficult to do – largely because of work for the adults and extracurricular activities for the children” (NPR, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Harvard School of Public Health, 2013).  Also, for some families who do eat dinner together, the setting is not around the table but the television. Distractions are present in current societies and these distractions are working their ways into what we consider social norms, so watching TV, being on our cellphones, laptops, tablets, and iPods during meals has become more socially acceptable and increasingly present during meal times. The same study by NPR and Harvard found that 24% of families experience these distractions during their dinners (NPR, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Harvard School of Public Health, 2013). Though serval studies have shown that eating together and engaging in social interactions during a meal reduces obesity and benefits psychological development, our busy lifestyles are competing for our time. The unconscious motion of eating while watching television or writing an email conflicts greatly with our health. The French may spend more time eating than Americans, but they also spend more time socializing and in turn consume smaller and more balanced portions than we do.

      Since we’ve discussed the when and how we eat in America (on the go, or in front of the TV) it is also important to know what we are eating and how these foods have evolved over time. In America we eat a lot of overly processed and refined foods, most of our dinners come in a box or a can and have a shelf life longer than the average life expectancy for humans. These foods did not start out this way but have been shaped over time by our obsession with convenience and health. The processed foods have ways of appealing to our senses thanks to years of nutritional science engineering and fear of fats. Michael Pollan, author of “The Omnivores Dilemma” counters the French Paradox by quote, “… the American paradox: that is, a notably unhealthy people obsessed by the idea of eating healthily” (Pollen, 2004). Americans are easily swayed by fad diets and even more easily mislead by the food industry and their main goal to turn over profits. Over the years, food has been manipulated to the point of making food as addictive as cocaine. Sugar, salt, fat, MSG, and casein-these ingredients have been thickening the wallet of the food industry and the waist bands of Americans, creating a social issue that sells. With body image changing the food we eat have been changing and marketed in such a way to specific target audiences. Frozen sells kids’ sugary cereal, professional athlete’s sell Wheaties, yogurt companies are adopting “manly” packages, and women are faced with everything “skinny girl” in the stores. We have so modified our food its is hardly recognizable, this can especially be said for some ethnic foods in America. Taco Bell is not Mexican food, it’s American. The sushi we eat at Chinese restaurants is actually traditionally Japanese and our version of sushi is not what Japanese would consider sushi at all, and the Chinese food in America is packed with extra sugars and MSG which is not customary in the original dish. French fries are not French and German Chocolate Cake has no association with Germany. Why have we created and claimed these foods to be ethnic, when really, they are American foods? We have warped our cultural perspectives and created a whole new market for the false prophets of the food world. We have in a way blended the communities and created completely different foods in the process, this is partly due to generational changes as the original immigrant families become more American than their pervious culture and being assimilating to more American tastes. Authentic ethnic restaurants do exist in America, but overall, we have confused the general public about fortune cookies and fats.
     Even though we have blended and shaped our food industry, and seen a rise in nutritional scientist and engineers, supplements and new seasonal fad diets the sad truth is, the western diet kills you. We live in a society that is over fed but under nourished. Only in western diet is pizza considered a vegetable to be severed as a school lunch. The main interests in connection to sociology is that our diets are socially and culturally created but so intertwined with politics and economic gain that the balance is beginning to tip dramatically. The when, how, and what we eat will continue to change and as society continues to adapt to it. Michael Pollan stated in his documentary based around his book “In Defense of Food an Eaters Manifesto” by PBS that we can stay on the western diet of eating processed food, fast foods, and junk foods and just wait for evolution to adapt us to it or we can change our eating habits (Pollan, 2015). The latter sounds like the best option, in hope that the when, how, and what we eat changes back to what it used to and should be. Food should be celebrated and enjoyed bringing back the social aspects of sitting down and eating with family and friends. However, in order for this change in our diets it requires a change in our lifestyles as well.
