The only thing in sprunki that actually kinda bothers me is Sky’s death. Cause like, he’s a kid. He’s literally 14, the only sprunki who’s under 18 so the fact that he gets the most brutal and painful death out of anyone is like. A tiny bit too fucked-up for my personal taste.

Therefore in my sprunki au Sky gets to survive pretty much unscathed bc I want him to and canon was only ever a suggestion anyways ✨

Or why there is a hero who nearly broke the door down in a right panic. 

Like genuinely, he doesn’t know who was more surprised, him, or the hero who came running up half in a panic attack.

okay, another post about gray wing and clear sky because i will Never shut up about them. to begin with, it reallly could go either way why gray wing "shrinks from the idea of clear sky's fury turned against him." it's interesting that "fury" is used to describe clear sky literally two pages ago in the last chapter, when he reacts strongly to jagged peak freezing on the road, not "concern" or even "protective fury." like, the two things i'm considering are whether or not gray wing is afraid of clear sky because this is a pattern he grew up with but has trouble admitting to himself that conversations with clear sky usually end in fury from clear sky, or just because gray wing expects this because this is his understanding of loss and grief and how it affects other cats

white fang and this book really putting into words how i imagine "eating one's heart out" to be. gray wing really does Dwell on this and always does things that he believes are punitive to himself. like, yes, he does this to accompany clear sky, but i do believe at least a small part of him does this because he feels he deserves to feel bad after doing bad, and like. in a twisted way because he knows clear sky is prone to outbursts, using clear sky to punish himself. wild stuff.

it really is no question that gray wing blames himself, yeah, but the stuff that drives me crazy is the way he's literally constantly feeling guilty. maybe this is consistent with gray wing's character later on? because it certainly isn't so with shaded moss's death. (that could be due to the fact that gray wing feels less responsible, or feels less close to shaded moss than future deaths like turtle tail's) otherwise, it is possible to take this as evidence that maybe it's a pattern that clear sky will take something he knows he can find gray wing slightly responsible for and then blame him for it openly.

that one phrase that Henry Galley once used about perks of being a wallflower: other people doing your "emotional labour" for you (spelled with a u becuase um. british). maybe this is just gray wing's turn to protagonist it up, but it really is glaring now how clear sky doesn't actually seem to process this in any other way than agreeing to explore. i personally like the idea that he internalizes this but eventually forget who teaches him it, because of the multiple times in his POV where we see him repress things that make him feel guilty for some unnamed other beneficial reason
