I think I just finished writing #Hazeldine Vol. 7?

When I released Vol. 6 in September, my goal was to finish writing 7 by the end of the year (since I had more than half of it already written).

I pushed myself really dang hard the entirety of my holiday vacation/winter break these last two weeks to achieve that.

And, yeah, I'm *technically* one day late. But I actually did what I set out to do????

(This may legitimately be the first time I hit a personal writing goal outside of NaNoWriMos.)

ANYWAY, it all still needs to be fully edited, and will need to sit and percolate for a few days/couple weeks before I really dive into that. So it'll still be at least a month before Vol. 7 is available for purchase.

BUT I'M REALLY DANG PROUD OF MYSELF.

#on a recent rewatch of LOTR i really noticed how unhinged a performance karl urban is putting in as eomer #but like as an expression of rohirrim ideals #i mean there’s definitely a sibling resemblance re: eowyn’s laser focus on dying in battle #like that did not come out of nowhere #eomer is ‘i will escalate any situation and i will do it with my whole body’ #‘ill kick your ass i’ll kick my own ass i don’t even care’ #like he cries big and he loves a poem and i’m 100% sure he sings #bc these are the ideal expressions of citizenry in edoras #but also there’s this skywalker-esque absolute batshit feral child quality about him #like i have this image of 15 year old eomer #and he’d absolutely be doing the horseboy equivalent of wamp rat targeting in beggars canyon on a horse with no saddle or tack of any kind #frankly terrifying tbh
