Today and tomorrow (November 1st and 2nd), in many countries we commemorate All Saints' Day and the Day of the Dead to remember the people we loved who have died. We go to the cemeteries to clean the graves and take flowers for them. This year, we will also remember the 155 people killed by the cold drop in the Valencian Country these last few days.

But besides, I would like to take a moment to think of the people who are grieving their loved ones and who can't even take flowers to them, result of a genocide so intense that we had never seen anything like it in our lifetime. In a year, Israel has already killed more than 40,000 Palestinians and continues massacring them every day. Hundreds of dead Palestinians have been found in mass graves, and parents have had to use plastic bags to collect the body parts of their children who were killed when Israel bombed their school (image warning for the link). The horror and grief that Palestinian people are going through is unimaginable for any of us.

Today, as we remember our relatives who have died, we also remember the +40,000 people that Israel has killed last year and the tens of thousands more that Israel had already killed since 1948.

We used to have the tradition of doing theatre plays to raise money for good causes on November 1st. This tradition has almost disappeared nowadays, but we are living through disgraceful times and it would be a good idea to bring it back. I would like to take this day to encourage everyone to help the people who are grieving with an economical donation so they can have enough money to evacuate their families to Egypt and make sure they are safe from the bombings.
