Let me get this off my chest
My hottest(?) take in the MILGRAM fandom (specifically the Haruka Sakurai subsection, cause ofc it is) is that Haruka genuinely suffered through severe neglected + abuse and never received treatment for his disability. Which means, yes, he will need some help navigating through things in daily life and having someone that will teach him these things will be like the mother he never had (Muu). But it also constantly irks me when people infantilize Haruka in either extreme direction (he's an evil sociopath or he's an uwu soft wittle baby) cause not only are both extremes are insanely wrong, but also just incredibly ableistic. Like....imagine being so traumatized you aren't even sure of your own age! Yes, he needs help, but he also stated that his greatest wish is to live normally and be a smart, strong, and interesting person. He literally just *wants* to be normal. Yes, he wants attention, but he doesn't want to be babied or woobified. He wants to be treated normally, which was happening in the prison. He's on good terms with everyone (or was when T1 was back to happier times :,D), learned communication skills not just from Muu, but from other others as well, and had someone that showed him accommodation and kindness for the first time. No wonder he sees Muu as a maternal figure, the MILGRAM prisoners genuinely feel more like a family to him than his real family is. But it also goes to show that he wants to be relied on as much as he wants people to rely on. His threat to khs in his second VD? No, he wasn't a 'platonic yandere' for Muu or a psycho. He wanted to be useful to the very end. He wanted to show his 'new mom' "Hey, you said you were scared of the prison! Your good boy will make sure that you're safe no matter what!". He wanted to show off the 'skills' to his 'new mom' that he didn't have before, which made him a 'failure'. Haruka may not think he's very smart, but he is aware that he is strong (Hello??? "I can kill anything smaller than me!"). So what is his way of showing his use? Protecting his loved one. While he does rely on people, he also wants someone to rely on him. Even if it's to the point of using him, which he canonically doesn't care about! ("So what if she's using me? Isn't it a good thing, to be used?"). All so he can feel like he was worth in someone's life. It's not a matter of him wanting to be treated like a child forever. He genuinely wants to find value and worth in life, but bc of the highly stressful environment + the toxic relationship he has with "new mom", he tries to find it in the worst way possible
TDLR: Haruka, yes, wants kindness and support. It's natural to cling onto the first person to show you that in your life. But he also *wants* to be useful to his loved one. He doesn't want to be babied, he *wants* to be relied on. He wants to be this 'smart and strong person' his loved one can fall back on and count on for certain things

Fell into the Wind Breaker fandom, got my heart stolen, so I decided to write about (some of) my favorite boys.
Also, Kiryu is my beloved, and I think he deserves more attention and love in this fandom (please).
No TWs. Just endless fluff.
How they act when they have a crush on you:
Tumblr media
Sakura Haruka:
Oh. Oh.
Brace yourself for a whirlwind of profound confusion. You will simply not be able to tell if Haruka hates your guts, wishes to never lock eyes with you ever again, or actually wants to smother you with affection to the verge of death.
The way Haruka instantly blushes at your mere sight, crimson seeping all the way down to his neck and collarbone, will make you dizzy with fondness for him. But the way he equally proceeds to stammer at cheery greeting, before spitting something along the line of "I wasn't waiting for you or anything!" before huffing and puffing and disappearing, will make you feel dejected and abandoned at times.
Haruka will spend his mayhem-like crushing stage both near you, always protecting and watching over you, and from a distance, panicking at these strange feelings welling up within his heart and filling him with a warmth he has never experienced before.
My dear, be patient with this foolish child, for he has suffered so much. He likes you so, so, so much that he does not know what to do with himself. But do no fear. Once Haruka's heart is set, nothing, and no one, can make it sway away from you.
Umemiya Hajime:
If you thought spending time with Umemiya was enjoyable before, time filled with nothing but his tender smiles and light jokes, wait until you become the only person reflected in his eyes.
Umemiya will simply refuse to let you leave his side. Wherever he goes, you have to be there, hand entangled in his.
Expect to be enveloped in hugs at all times of the day, and for seemingly no reason at all. If Umemiya is happy, deep in thought, sleepy, or even hungry, he will first reach out to squeeze you in his arms before beginning to whine about whatever state he is currently in.
Brace yourself to be considered as the boss' girl, even if Ume has yet to tell you about his feelings. Umemiya will ensure you get treated with as much respect as he receives, and will make it clear for everyone in the school that you are not to be touched.
Umemiya will try to gauge your level of comfort before attempting to start any kind of romantic relationship with you, which might lengthen the crushing stage by a while. But once he feels that only an affectionate yes will be your answer, Ume will not waste any more time.
Choji Tomiyama:
You might think Choji's friendly attitude and cheery aptitude will make differentiating between his platonic and romantic affections highly difficult. But once you start experiencing being the target of his fondness and devotion, you will realize how extremely wrong you were.
If you thought Choji was touchy before, brace yourself to experience true clinginess.
Choji has to be touching you at all times. A hand at the small of your back as you walk with the team, an arm around your waist as you sit together on a bench, and even a hand tightly holding yours as you cross a busy street.
Choji's smile, bright as the sun, will increase in intensity each time you make your way to him after finishing up your tasks for the day. Expect to be showered with straightforward compliments, and seemingly never-ending praise, as you fight off a deep blush from dominating your features.
Rest assured. Choji will not be able to keep his crush a secret for long. So hang on tight and wait for him.
Kiryu Mitsuki:
Oh, to have Kiryu pine over you. What a literal dream.
Expect to be pampered. Lots and lots.
Kiryu will offer his arm to you whenever you have to walk down a flight of stairs, gently hold your hand in the crowded areas of the town, and offer you the most honeyed praises about your clothes, style, face, and everything.
Do not ever be afraid of walking home in the dark after finishing a late study session. Kiryu will always be there, leaning against the wall opposite your building, waiting for you.
His face would instantly brighten under the street lamp as soon as he spots you. He would greet you with his usual cat-like grin, before starting to ask you about your day. Kiryu will distract you with the conversation as he takes away your bag, heavy or not, and slings his own jacket on your shoulders, all within the span of a few seconds.
Late night walks have never felt safer than with him by your side, ready to send anyone, who would even do as much as glance at you, face first into the floor.
Reciprocating a crush has never felt this easy before.

MILGRAM, Growing Up & Maturity
Recently, I've been thinking about MILGRAM and its prisoners connections to the concept of age and growing up - not every prisoner has a connection to this theme, but I think it's worth talking about!
Haruka - Haruka still sees himself as a child (his age is listed as 17, so he technically is) though in his MVs, he's often shown as a very young child, which makes sense considering his story centers around his relationship with his mother (and likely his life in the school system/being mistreated as a disabled child). Haruka represents being stuck growing up forever, never being supported enough to grow into an adult.
Yuno - Yuno's young age was often used as a point of skepticism by the audience during T1. She was told she was just too immature to know what she was doing/was barely an adult etc. Yuno spoke out against this view in Tear Drop, which represents her as a mature adult, despite her young age. She mirrors Haruka in this aspect. She grew up as fast as she liked, her decisions were her own. She was allowed to become an adult exactly when she wanted to.
Fuuta - Fuuta, even being 20 years old, still acts very much like a teenage bully - or at least, that's the act he puts up. He goes along with the crowd and doesn't really know his own place in the world just yet. He's not even able to realize the harm he's doing to his online victims until his 'murder'. When he's voted guilty in T1, this bully attitude is finally stripped away and he seems more like a confused young boy than a confident college student. Fuuta hasn't quite reached the point where he can call himself a grown adult yet.
Muu - This one is a little harder to properly pinpoint. Muu has been pampered by her rich parents all her life and has never had to make many decisions or work for herself (assuming she was actually a queen bee bully type). The first decision in her life that's actually hers is, tragically enough, her murder. She seems to see herself as someone who can boss around adults already when she clearly still has a lot of growing up to do.
Shidou - Shidou seems like the most mature prisoner of all. He had a family, a wife, kids - though that's been taken away from him, he still retains a wiseness that the other characters don't seem to have. Shidou is an adult who would rather be taken apart by piece by piece than see others be hurt. He often talks about his childhood in his extra material, almost seemingly longing to be a child again, where he had to experience no loss and no growing up.
Mahiru - Mahiru, as contrasted by Shidou, is very lacking in experiencing what she values most in life - love. She's in college when she finally gets what she wants, and she doesn't understand what being in a relationship truly means. In her 2nd MV, her view of her relationship is almost childishly whimsical. There's a carousel, sweets, a party just for her. This is to symbolize her still needing to grow and see the real world for what it is, also linked to maturity.
Kazui - With the next pair, this motif is a lot easier to see. Kazui is the oldest prisoner in all of MILGRAM, but he is still immature at heart. He often talks almost like he resents being an adult, wishing to be irresponsible again. This may sound similar to Shidou at first, but the difference between Kazui and Shidou is the fact that Shidou doesn't seem to mind being affected by societal norms (having a family, a good job, wife and kids...) as much as Kazui. Kazui wants nothing more than to be as free as he used to be before his relationship (either because he doesn't want to have just 1 relationship or because he hates the norms being forced on him). This might just be disproven in like 1 month but.. we'll see?
Amane - I feel like Amane is almost too obvious for me to write anything about her. First off, she's a child. Obviously she's still growing up and learning - but she's a child trope flipped on her head, she's only twelve, but she's obsessed with being a mature adult (assumedly to be respected by her elders in the cult). Often showcased in the Minigram comics is her childish nature surfacing in calm moments, but it never lasts. She's been forced to grow up too fast and there's no undoing it for her.
I feel like I can't really connect this theme to Mikoto and Kotoko, honestly. We just don't know enough about them yet - So maybe I'll expand on this once their T2 MVs come out? Feel free to add on if you'd like, though. :) Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!

Fantober 2020, Day 24: Picnic
Tumblr media
Author: DatHeetJoella Fandom: Free! Pairing: MakoHaru Rating: T Part: 24/31 (read the full collection here) Word count: 1,564 Tags: Canonverse, Established Relationship, Fluff, Quarantine, Pandemic, References to Sexual Content Read at: AO3, FFn, or right here!
                                             --------------------------------
When Makoto visited the shrine on January first and prayed for a good year, the last thing he expected was to be in quarantine because of a pandemic three months later. And yet, that was exactly the situation he found himself in.
His study and work had been put on hold and he had to refrain from leaving his home except for necessary groceries, but Makoto felt like he couldn't complain. He wouldn't get lonely because Haruka was here and there was no one he'd rather be stuck inside with than him. They recently moved into a bigger apartment, so even if they did get sick of each other's company - which was unlikely - they could retreat to either the bathroom and their bedroom, which was separate from the living room and kitchen. All of their loved ones remained to be healthy up until now which was a blessing in itself, and he'd always been a homebody anyway so he didn't miss going out and about as much as some of their more extroverted friends.
But there were days Makoto couldn't help but feel lost. After all, he was in Tokyo to follow his dreams and it was a bit frustrating he couldn't continue to live the life he meticulously built here. When days passed during which cancelled plans should've taken place, the sullen feeling welled up and he missed even the most mundane things, like going to a bookstore with Ikuya and Hiyori or drinking coffee at Marron and catching up with Kisumi, Asahi, Akane and little Tsukushi.
Today was one of those days. The cherry trees were in full bloom and even though they hadn't planned a flower-viewing party with their friends, Makoto always looked forward to the season. It was sad to let the beautiful petals fall without appreciating them properly, but spring would come again and Makoto was sure they could celebrate a new start then. Health and safety were priority number one, everything else could wait until later.
Fortunately, Makoto wasn't one to get bored easily so on days like these, he distracted himself by reading a book or playing some games. While Haruka didn't mind being cooped up at home either, he did miss the freedom of swimming at the pool. To make up for the lack of water, he spent even more time in the tub than usual and to release his excess energy, he dragged Makoto over to their bedroom at least twice a day. It could be a bit exhausting, especially if Haruka insisted on a second or even a third round, but Makoto would be lying if he said he disliked this turn of events. Being with Haruka so much, both between the sheets and outside of them, was the silver lining amidst this awful situation.
After one of these 'morning marathons', Makoto was the one relaxing in the bath for a change. He invited Haruka to join him, but he claimed he had something to do and left swiftly after they cleaned up. Not wanting to pry, Makoto let him off the hook without any questions. If it was important, he was sure Haruka would tell him eventually.
Cuddling with Haruka held his preference, but it was also nice to be able to stretch out his legs for once. With his eyes shut in contentment, Makoto basked in the warm, soapy clutch, enveloped by comfort and serenity; moments like these made him understand Haruka's affinity for the water a little more. He could stay here for hours, but the seed of curiosity Haruka planted in his mind by acting so cryptically began to grow as the water nourished it.
When his stomach growled, he gave in to the temptation and yanked the plug out of the drain. He dried himself quickly and slipped on some loungewear. If Haruka was still busy, he would leave him be. Then he'd be a good boyfriend and whip up some egg sandwiches for their lunch.
"Haru?" he called as he opened the bathroom door and his jaw hurtled to the floor.
The furniture inside their living room was shoved aside and Haruka was sitting on a large quilt in the middle of it. Multiple lunchboxes with all kinds of different food, from onigiri and karaage to pieces of fish and a variety of vegetables, were set out beside him along with a thermos and two cups. And to top it all off, an enormous drawing of a hanging, blossoming cherry tree was taped against the wall, fallen petals spread across the floor.
"Haru," Makoto gasped, slapping a hand over his mouth to stifle his astonishment. "What's all of this?"
"You looked so somber that we can't go out to watch the cherry blossoms, so I thought I'd bring the cherry blossoms here."
Tears emerged in Makoto's eyes, but he swallowed them before they could spill. Ever since they were little, Haruka had been incredibly kind and thoughtful, yet gestures like these never ceased to surprise Makoto.
"This is amazing, Haru," he said, letting his eyes drink in the atmospheric feast Haruka prepared. "When did you do all of this?"
"I started this morning when you were still asleep and I finished it while you took a bath," Haruka said, a soft, shy smile adorning his lips.
"So that's why you were so eager to keep me in bed," Makoto said; Haruka was always excited and ready to pamper him behind closed doors, but he brought it to a new level this morning.
"Part of the reason," Haruka mumbled and Makoto could read the rest of the reason on his face, that was shaded the same lovely pink as the paper petals. "Now, sit down and eat before the food spoils."
At the mention of food, Makoto's stomach cried out again. At least he hadn't skipped breakfast for nothing.
He plopped down on the quilt beside Haruka, who handed him a pair of chopsticks. They said their thanks, then Makoto didn't waste a second before he dug in. He picked up an omelette roll, that was so soft and fluffy it melted on his tongue. He had to resist the urge to moan; he'd already disturbed the neighbours enough at that point.
"This is so good, Haru," he said through his full mouth. "Thank you so much for doing this for me."
Haruka shrugged. "I know it's not the same as an actual picnic with our friends beneath a real cherry tree, but I hope you still like this."
"I love it," Makoto said, leaning over to drop a kiss onto Haruka's cheek, "I couldn't have wished for anything more than this; this is the best flower-viewing party I've ever been invited to."
And he meant every word. Despite them being inside their house and the tree being cut out of pencil-coloured pages of his notebook, the ambience hadn't gotten lost. On the contrary, because it was just the two of them at home, the ambience was even better than it would've been otherwise. Haruka put so much effort into doing this especially for him and that made it so much more meaningful than anything they could've set up with a group of friends. This was so charming and whimsical it turned Makoto's insides to mush, his heart fluttering against his ribcage.
Perhaps Haruka was even more of a hopeless romantic than him. But if he said that, Haruka would surely get annoyed at him and he wouldn't want to make him grumpy after this grand gesture of affection.
"I had no idea you were planning something like this," Makoto said instead as he plucked a mini tomato from one of the boxes. As a token of his appreciation, he'd leave most of the mackerel for Haruka.
"If I let you notice, then it wouldn't have been a surprise."
"You're right. You raised the bar by a lot, though. I don't know how I'm ever going to top this."
"You don't have to," Haruka said, munching on a tuna with mayonnaise onigiri. "I didn't do this to get something in return."
"I know, but this is so special to me, I want to do something for you that gives you that special feeling, too."
"Idiot," Haruka said as he picked at a grain of rice, "You don't have to do anything for that."
Fireworks of adoration exploded in Makoto's stomach. Haruka was so cute, he truly loved him too much for his own good. This adorable reaction only made the desire to return the favour fizz up even stronger.
"Thanks, Haru." An unrestrainable smile curled Makoto's lips. "Still, this is so much fun, we should do things like this more often. When all of this is over and we can go out again, I'll take you on a nice date. I can't promise it'll be anywhere near as good as this, but I'll try my best."
"If you insist, then I'll be looking forward to that," Haruka said with a tiny smile of his own brightening his beautiful face.
Makoto leaned forward and stole a kiss from Haruka's mouth, the flavours of the food intermingling between them. He wasn't sure yet what he was going to organise for their date, but fortunately, he had a lot of time to think about it. For now, he would simply enjoy their little picnic and revel in this amazing moment Haruka created.

20 Somewhat Important Questions for [Kizunashipping]
Who sleeps in the middle? Crow mostly. He likes being held, and Jack likes holding both him and Yūsei. Yūsei is happy with whatever as long as everyone's comfortable.
Who is the best cuddler? Jack, by force. He has a habit of pulling whoever's closest and laying them on top of him when he takes naps on the couch. He likes the extra weight, and tucks Crow or Yūsei under his chin and wraps his arms around them carefully.
Who gets hurt the most? Lmao, probably Crow if we're talking about small cuts and bruises. He's not really careful about himself when doing routine stuff, and they don't really hurt most of the time really. It's just a part of his day really. If we're talking about larger wounds and injureis, Jack if he's dealing with crime again (lol) or Yūsei in sacrificing himself for his friends (smh).
Who acts like the baby? Depends. Jack can be very childish with his high standard of luxury and spoils himself on the team's budget. Yūsei can be childish too by being petty if Jack and Crow get into another argument and manage to actually annoy him. Crow is the baby because he's the youngest out of all three of them and will act like it if it's just between the three of them. Usually, he does it to get something he wants like extra sweetness to his drink (usually rejected by Jack).
Who teases the others the most? Crow. He's a lot better at it and more happy to do with than the other two. That being said, Jack and Yūsei can tease him right back in their own way.
Who proposes? They don't get married, but when it comes to making big important decision, there's just an unspoken agreement to do it together. Move into Poppo Time and join the WRGP as a team. Live in the same house together when Jack and Crow are on breaks from Turbo dueling. Take responsibility over the kids any of them have together or separately. (Jack and Yūsei allot themselves as the other dads of all of Crow's kids.)
Who is the most protective? They all can be very protective, but Yūsei is the one to hold grudges if someone ever really hurt Jack and Crow (and his other friends). Crow is protective in a mostly physical manner as in pushing loved ones out of the way, or using his body as a shield. Jack's the most confrontation about and will the danger head on.
(My favorite canon moment of protect Kizuna is when Team 5D's meet Team Unicorn and Jack and Yūsei stand in front of Crow and tell Unicorn to back off. That was so sweet and adorable, I love them so much just for that.)
Tumblr media
Who is the closest to the child? (Whether it be a fur baby, scale baby, or human child.) They're all close to their kids in their own way! I gave them three kids: Sky (oldest), Loki (middle), and Haruka (youngest). I love them all very much.
Yūsei is the main parent for Sky and Haruka while Jack and Crow are gone on their tours. Martha, Akiza, and the twins are also there in the instances when he's not available due to work or something. He knows their habits and body languages very well, he pays attention to his kids. Loki doesn't live in City becuase he lives with his Roganorak parents, but Yūsei makes sure to video chat with him at least once a week and always sends gifts. Once Sky gets older, Yūsei will get into arguments with her over programming and stuff; it's one of their pastimes. Haruka will stay out, but he's also their level of nerd and will throw hands too.
Jack is the one who spoils the most. Kids say the darndest things, but this man will take them seriously. If Sky says she wants lava cake, Jack will say they're going to France. If Loki says he misses his otō-san, Jack will cry and promise to come and see him as soon as possible. Even when Haruka gets taller than him, Jack will carry him if Haruka asks. He's always making plans to spend time with his kids when he's home! They're his first priority.
Crow gets all the instinctual love because Hogans are hella close. He can sense trouble the moment any of his kids thinks about it, but he's also the most understanding about causing trouble. Yūsei worry because he doesn't want his kids to get hurt, and Jack would want it done under parental (his) supervision. Crow is, like, be careful, come home for dinner, call if you need help.
Jack and Crow visit whenever their tour is in Europe to spend time with him, they also do video calls and send gifts.
Who gives the best advice? Hmmmmmmmmm, Martha.
Who is like a therapist? They all have their ways of being the therapist? Mostly it's cuddling each other until whoever is having a bad day feels like talking. Sometimes, the cuddling is just enough. They don't talk things out as much as they recognize how the other is feeling and show physical affection as their way of comfort. If they want to talk, they'll talk.
Who sings B and C to sleep? Jack. Sometimes, he hums.
Is the relationship healthy? They try to do good by each other, and aren't afraid to call stuff out. They genuinely love each other and adore each other, but also have their own space. They're not completely dependent on each other, and are awfully close. They're queerplatonic!
Do A and B have a stronger bond with each other? Or do C and B or C and A have a stronger bond? Or are A, B, and C close together [equally]? Jack and Yūsei definitely have something that's only between the two of them, but that doesn't push Crow out. Jack sees Yūsei as his number one rivals, but he also sees Crow as a formable challenge and would not want to lose to Crow not just because he's the King but also because that's his best friend too.
Crow and Jack have the comfortability of arguing because they both want and need a push in their daily life. Yūsei and Crow love each other.
Who can be trusted to be left home alone? Yūsei.
Who cries the most? Jack, hands down.
Who is the softest? Jack has the softest touch, and Crow is the softest to touch. They're all soft in heart in their own way.
Who is the shortest? Crow. Two to three inches of his height is just hair, I swear.
Who is the tallest? Jack. Tol since childhood.
Who likes cuddles the most? Crow! He loves being sandwiched and pampered.
Last of all, who sings terribly in the shower? Crow is a terrible singer, but he loves to perform whether he looks good or not. Jack and Yūsei find it endearing and silly, and they can tell he's in a good mood when they hear him sing in the shower.

Pandora - Filler (Christmas)
"I'm always wondering about the what-ifs, about the road not taken"
-Jenny Han
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christmas, among many other holidays, was one of the days Eisuke hated the most.
The fuss about the decorations, the festivities a month before the actual date, it was too much hassle for him to handle. Before Haruka's arrival, he was constantly bombarded with questions like what theme he would like, simple or extravagant decorations, would there be an office party, and many more. It gave Eisuke a headache just thinking about them. When he hired Haruka, he was skeptical about her first Christmas. A company as big as the Ichinomiya Group, all eyes would be on them when such a big holiday was coming up. It was a great opportunity to see if Eisuke made the right decision in hiring her too.
Two whole months before Christmas, she was already researching into it. Haruka went into the archives herself and dug up anything she could find for the last ten years on decorations alone. She went with a Winter Wonderland theme, having a tree with fake snow set up in the lobby of the building. She even had fake presents wrapped and placed under the tree. Decorations were simple, yet elegant, and many clients and employees reported that it was the best Christmas decorations they had seen in a long time. What won Eisuke over, however, was the extra mile she went into for the presents.
She studied and researched every client Eisuke dealt with, big and small. She chose presents for each of them personally, keeping it at a reasonable price range yet still suiting of a present from an executive. The money left over in the budget, she ordered a few dozens of fountain pens to gift to those in managerial and above positions within the company itself. That year, Eisuke became the most popular executive not because he was Akira's son but because he had Haruka.
Every year since then, she had been in charge of Christmas and all other holidays. Not once did she miss the mark.
The arrival of Tres Spades and the other men of the penthouse meant that festivities increased. There were more events to set up, and parties to attend. And much to Eisuke's (and everyone's) annoyance, Baba always wanted to host a party. Though irritating that he was forced to participate, Eisuke somehow found them enjoyable.
"Good morning, Mr. Ichinomiya," Yumi smiled. "And Merry Christmas."
Placing a perfectly wrapped gift on the table, Yumi turned on her heels and returned to her desk. Eisuke picked up the present to take a look before putting it to a side. Years of gift receiving told him that Yumi most likely bought something at the department store and had them wrap it for her. He did not bother opening the gift, like all other gifts he received from clients, partners, and boot-licking employees. They never get him anything he liked anyway. Not even the rest of the gang got him anything he liked. The only person who knew him well enough to get the right present, was Haruka.
Opening a drawer to his right, Eisuke took out few of many boxes inside. These were a mixture of Christmas and birthday gifts, all from Haruka. He picked up one specific box, opening it to reveal a neatly rolled up tie. This was the first Christmas gift he received from Haruka, despite knowing perfectly well by then that he hated wearing a tie. A note was stuck to the inside of the lid, a note that Eisuke kept all these years:
Dear Mr. Ichinomiya,
I will put all my efforts into learning how to do the perfect tie knot.
From, Haruka
In the other boxes were two watches that he would only wear on special occasions, an engraved fountain pen that he used to sign important contracts only, a personal blend of coffee that he had been unwilling to open, wireless earphones that he used when he wanted to ignore Baba discreetly, a joke mug that although he complained about still used from time to time, and a pair of cuff links.
Eisuke picked up the box containing the cuff links, touching gently with his finger. He could still remember when Haruka gifted these to him. It was the first Christmas they celebrated together as a gang of six. Baba insisted on having a party with a proper Christmas dinner and gifts exchange at the end of the night. Eisuke did not want to participate, thinking he would just make an appearance and disappear off to work. Oddly enough, Haruka liked the idea of a dinner. It was her first Christmas dinner and that was more than enough to make Eisuke go all out on it. He flew a chef over from England to prepare the meal, and had Kenzaki bring in the maids to decorate the penthouse. He had an actual tree for the lounge, all the presents underneath it, and stockings with all their names on it hung on the mantle beneath the TV. It had the exact Christmas feel of when he was studying in England.
When the time came to giving the presents, everyone seemed eager to receive a present from Haruka. Even Eisuke was strangely excited. As she gave out the presents, they were all starting to notice that all her presents were of the same size and shape. And when they opened the presents, they found out that Haruka bought 'I Love Tokyo' keychains for everyone. Apparently, because the Tres Spades was still relatively new, she had a lot of work and was too busy to shop for presents. She only had time to buy these keychains from the gift shop in the hotel.
Disappointed was an understatement.
Some would say that Eisuke had been pampered by Haruka all these years. Every Christmas and every birthday, she would personally pick out a present for him. While the item itself may not have cost a fortune, nor would they be the best quality or brand out there, but thoughts went into them and they were always suiting to Eisuke. To know that she had gotten the same thing for him for everyone else, it got Eisuke questioning his importance to Haruka.
Excusing himself, Eisuke left the party and his present behind, disappearing into his office for the night. Seeing the still wrapped present on the coffee table, Haruka had a guess as to what Eisuke was thinking. She too excused herself, and picked up Eisuke's present, going after her boss.
She knocked gently on his office door and opened it, walking in before he told her to. She sat down in front of his desk and placed the present right in front of him, looking and waiting for him to open it. Eisuke frowned at the present, pushing it away. What was the point of opening it when he knew exactly what was in it? The same disappointing keychain she got everyone. Still sat in the chair and not moving, Haruka pushed the present toward Eisuke once more. He looked to her in annoyance though his expression quickly changed when he saw how determined and confident she was. Perhaps he was wrong?
Finally giving in, Eisuke started tearing off the wrapping paper to reveal the same box everyone else got. He raised an eyebrow, frowning once again, but when he opened that box, the frown went.
Inside the box laid a pair of cuff links. The brand printed on the inside of the box was the one he liked. These were the cuff links he had his eyes on for a while now but they were out of stock and had no intentions of restocking any time soon. How did Haruka get her hands on these?
"These were out of stock for a very long time. How did you get them?" Eisuke asked.
"I have my ways," Haruka smiled. "Do you like them?"
"You wouldn't have bought them if I didn't like them."
"Did you think I got you the same keychain as the others?" Haruka asked in a teasing tone, a hum in her voice. She was mocking him, and Eisuke hated that she could see right through him. "It's true that I did not have time to shop for presents, but your present was ordered four months ago."
Eisuke felt ridiculous. He felt ridiculous for assuming and being disappointed. He felt ridiculous that somehow, a present from his secretary was validation. Validation for what, however, he had no idea. Opening his drawer to the right, Eisuke dropped the box inside before looking to Haruka. "Go and enjoy the party," he said, turning his attention back to his computer. "Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas," Haruka smiled, getting up. She was headed for the door when she stopped herself and walked over to him. She leaned in and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "And thank you for the necklace, I love it. Don't work too hard, Mr. Ichinomiya. It's Christmas, you should give yourself a break."
That was five years ago.
Thinking back, perhaps there was more to the fact that he was disappointed when he thought Haruka did not get him a special gift. Maybe because even back then, Eisuke felt as if he should be more than just her employer. Putting all the boxes back into the drawer, Eisuke tried to focus on his work. Christmas was just another day, whether or not Haruka was there; he would spend it like every other day. If he could survive a Monday without receiving gifts from Haruka, he could survive Christmas without her this year. Still, his mind could not focus. Every time he tried to get back to work, he found himself thinking of her again. Eventually, he gave up entirely and picked up the phone, calling Kenzaki.
"Yes, Mr. Ichinomiya?"
"Come up, I need you to deliver a package for me."
"I believe this is what others would call a coincidence, sir. A package just arrived for you."
Five minutes after the call, Kenzaki was knocking at his door. He walked in with a nicely wrapped present and handed it over to Eisuke, who then handed him another present. "Have that delivered to Haruka," Eisuke said. As Kenzaki took the present from him, the man smiled with a little too much reason behind it. "Is there something you want to say?" Eisuke asked.
"No sir, just that you and Miss Matsuoka seem to be quite in sync. She dropped that present off this morning," Kenzaki said, nodding to the present in Eisuke's hand.
"Just go."
Eisuke waited until Kenzaki left and he was alone. He tore the wrapping off and opened the present. A jar of coffee beans laid inside the box with a card slipped in the side. He took the card out, and written inside with Haruka's neat handwriting was a simple sentence:
It's time to open the old jar.

Hi! Thank you for subbing those videos! I'm subscribed to both of your channels on YouTube, and now I follow you here on Tumblr! I was wondering a couple of things... 1. Would you be able to sub any "My Hero Academia" events? I know Yuki Kaji is in the show, but he isn't always at all the events. 2. Which other seiyuu do you like? 3. Is there any way that people like me (who aren't fluent in Japanese) can help? (preferably not money-wise because I'm broke)
Hey there! Thanks for dropping by! Heads up: I can be pretty long-winded when I start talking so don’t worry about reading everything if you can’t be bothered to 😂
1. As far as I’m concerned, there haven’t been any HeroAca events recorded in a DVD, but if you’re referring to the Live Broadcasts (NICO/LINE) and radio episodes, I’ve only listened to the 2 radio episodes (in which Kaji went as guest), plus some random episodes to hear the backstory of those really good episodes in the anime, and also the LINE LIVE broadcast (Todoroki: Origin - Before and After Cast Talk). To be honest, although I would love to sub all of them, unfortunately because I’m still a high school exam student, it can be pretty hard to make the time for it 😓 (I pray every day to become more efficient) But if there’s a specific cut you would like to share I’d be more than happy to work on it!
2. Although this may not sound convincing if you’ve seen my channel‘s bias towards Kaji 😅 but I actually like and respect a lot of seiyuus. I usually get attracted to a seiyuu for either of the three following qualities: voice acting, voice, or personality. In terms of voice acting, it’s simply if their acting had left an impression on me. An example of a seiyuu that I like purely for her acting is Hayami Saori. She’s the second name I search up for after Kaji when choosing seasonal animes to watch. I could go on forever but to sum up why - it’s because I love her screams. Next, when it comes to voice, it’s pretty straightforward, just whoever’s voice sounds pleasant. In this case I’m referring to those whose acting doesn’t necessarily have to be good, but I‘d still love to listen to their voices just for the sound of it. A few who fall under this category are Kamiya Hiroshi, Sawashiro Miyuki and Natsuki Hanae. Don’t get me wrong, I love their acting, but my point is that I would listen to their voices regardlessly. Thirdly, it’s about their personality. Though it’s not my place to say this, there are some seiyuus whose neither voice nor voice acting ever struck me. If there’s any reason why I still appreciate them, it’s because I’ve heard how much effort and thoughts they’ve put into shaping their characters. But surely these people who’ve put in this much effort will be rewarded. An example is… though I don’t want to offend anyone, it’s Suzuki Tatsuhisa. Honestly I didn’t like quite a few of his portrayal, err… one I can recall on the top of my head is Mishima from Daiya no Ace, I won’t go too much into why I didn’t like his voice for Mishima, but I absolutely believe that he was the best fit for roles like Ban (Nanatsu no Taizai) and Hiroomi (Kyoukai no Kanata). Through the things he says in radios and events, you can really see that he watches his characters very closely and pays attention to the smallest things he can do for the best of his characters. I guess my point is that as long as a seiyuu loves and treats their characters well, even if their voice isn’t appealing to a certain viewer, their emotion will definitely be reflected in their portrayal which will naturally be conveyed to the viewers. And… it’s needless to say that there are plenty of seiyuus who have more than one of the three qualities, but basically Kaji is my favourite cause he happens to match what I was looking for in all three aspects. But I’m guessing that the reason why you’re asking this is because you want to know what kind of content I could be subbing? If that‘s the case I sincerely apologise for this long rant 😅 but I like any seiyuu that has some sort of relationship with Kaji. They could fall into any of the above categories, but I usually like to sub Kaji with either senpais who pamper/tease him (Miyano Mamoru/Kamiya Hiroshi/Ono Daisuke/Hayashibara Megumi/ Matsumoto Rica/Sakurai Takahiro/Fukuyama Jun/Suzuki Tatsuhisa), peers that he’s comfortable with (Terashima Takuma/Okamoto Nobuhiko/Maeno Tomoaki/Kimura Ryouhei/Yonaga Tsubasa/Sawashiro Miyuki/Inoue Marina/Takagaki Ayahi/Ono Yuuki/Nazuka Kaori), people he likes (Shimono Hiro/Hosoya Yoshimasa/Suzumura Kenichi/Morikubo Showtaro/Uchiyama Kouki), kouhais that look up to him/kouhais he dotes on (Shimazaki Nobunaga/Yamashita Daiki/Ishikawa Kaito/Kuno Misaki/Ogura Yui/Ishihara Kaori/Hanae Natsuki/Osaka Ryota) and I’m sure I’m still missing out on lots of names, but I also love (or want to see more of) his conversations with some of the people that showed signs of knowing him quite well but can still be pretty vague if they’re close to him (Nishiyama Koutarou/Kakihara Tetsuya/Uchida Maaya/Kayano Ai/Hanazawa Kana/Toyonaga Toshiyuki/Yuuki Aoi/Taketatsu Ayana/Yoshitsugu Matsuoka/Amamiya Sora/Sakura Ayane/Kobayashi Yusuke/Irino Miyu/Hayami Saori/Umehara Yuichiro/Tomatsu Haruka/Koshimizu Ami/Takahashi Rie/Ishikawa Yui). Erm.. the list could go on forever but I’ll stop here 😓
3. It could really be anything! My main reason for translating was just to share the love of seiyuus and to find more fellow overseas seiyuu fans. I don’t translate to take credit of the subbing so to be honest I don’t mind if people repost or reupload my subs so long as it exposes the awareness of seiyuus to a larger community in a positive way :))) I sincerely do believe that seiyuus deserve more recognition for the wonderful voices they bring to us after all. Other than that would be “monetary” but rather than for me, it would be great if we can all support the original event DVD sales (or even their photo books and radio DJCDs)! I just hope that one day they’ll make a contract with an official translating company to release the Eng subs officially. Oh right, we do have a seiyuu fansubbing group where quite a few of us seiyuu fansubbers gather together to plan for our translations. If you’d like to contribute I’m sure the group will be more than happy to welcome you! Check this link out for more details: http://seiyuufansubs.com/join-us/
Hope that answered your questions! P.S. Someone needs to teach me how to summarise (-.-;)…

(some hc for Haruka~!) 1, 5, 9, and 17!
headcanons! | @kessaichi
1. Holiday headcanon
holidays are something that he didn’t really celebrate while growing up. hikojuuro would always make the effort and do something special for the two of them, but he was never able to fully enjoy the experiences. considering that he always had homurabi lurking in the shadows, he wasn’t in a very good frame of mind at the time, to say the least. he was never truly himself back then and he was keeping secrets the entire time, which made it difficult to find joy in celebrations, no matter how hard hikojuuro tried to give him some semblance of a normal, family life.
but, nowadays, he’s able to enjoy holidays more. he still doesn’t get very invested in them or feel compelled to go all out with celebrating, but what he likes the most about them is spending them with his loved ones. rather than the holiday itself, he looks forward to being with the people who are dear to him. souta, kura, hotaru; he cherishes the feeling of family that comes from being together.
5. Bathing/showering headcanon
he 👏loves 👏 bubble 👏 baths!!!
he absolutely loves them and he much prefers bathing over showering in general. he’s always had such a luxurious lifestyle, which of course includes bathing like a prince. it’s really a whole process for him lmao he dedicates time out of each day to taking a nice, long bath and pampering himself.
it’s also one of the few things that he does for self-care. it’s something that’s genuinely peaceful and relaxing for him. he finds that it helps clear his mind and he doesn’t have to think about anything, which he really needs.
he’s the most at peace when he takes a bath with souta. his mind pretty much shuts off completely and he’s the epitome of cozy (*ꈍ꒳ꈍ*)
9. General physical contact headcanon
despite having trouble being physically affectionate with others (aside from Souta), he does well with receiving it. he rarely shies away from physical contact. he might not always enjoy it, but he won’t pull away or tell someone to stop. he sort of just tolerates it and doesn’t really mind.
when it comes to him being uncomfortable with physical contact, he still won’t make the effort to stop it. if someone harasses him and pushes him around, he simply takes it. this tends to stem from him not wanting to deal with confrontation, as well as being very aware of how weak he is. he knows that if he tried to stand up for himself, the other person could easily overpower him.
there’s also the fact that he’s dealt with so many bullies throughout his life, so it’s somewhat become ingrained in his mind to shut down and just accept people touching him however they want. he’s been hit on more than one occasion. he doesn’t want to go through it again.
17. Soft spot headcanon
he has a soft spot for flowers, but nature in general as well. he deeply admires the beauty of nature and he views it as something to be respected. there’s a certain tranquility about nature for him that he feels whenever he’s truly in the middle of it. he feels calmed by it.
whenever he finds himself in a forest with souta, kura, and hotaru on one of their adventures, he’ll often stop to admire it. sometimes he gets lost in thought and ends up staring at the sunlight peeking through the trees or watching the water flow through a small creek, listening to the sound of it. he’s spaced out on more than one occasion and i’m sure souta’s had to hold his hand to make sure that they don’t lose him lol

Send ♬ for a childhood headcanon.
his older brother kanata was always the one who was favored by their grandfather. kanata was next in line to become the head of the kujo family so their grandfather valued him significantly more and he was determined to pass his traditions onto him. in the process, haruka was constantly excluded from being with them.
he was a toddler so he couldn’t fully comprehend how horrific his grandfather’s rituals were and that they were being done for terrible reasons. he simply wanted to be included and be just as important to grandfather as kanata was. but that never became the case.
Send ♆ for something my muse hates.
there really isn’t much that he truly hates. he finds things irritating and bothersome but it takes a lot to make him genuinely hate something. but, to no surprise, someone insulting souta is what he can’t stand.
he absolutely hates it when someone insults souta’s intelligence and/or calls him stupid. he takes it personally, as if he’s the one being insulted. but he just hates it so much when the person he loves more than anything is insulted and picked on simply because he isn’t as brilliant of a student as everyone else.
basically he’ll defend souta’s honor in a heartbeat and he’ll silently plot how to ruin the person’s reputation lmao
Send ◊ for a headcanon of the mun’s choice.
i’ve talked about this before but haruka’s been such a pampered little princess his whole life that he never learned how to tie his shoes. he’s terribly, terribly embarrassed whenever the topic is brought up and he doesn’t want to admit that it’s true but it so is.
he always needs souta to be his charming knight and tie his shoes for him lfigjhs

send me a ship! | @kessaichi
❤: who is more affectionate in public? in private?
S O U T A 👀👌souta loves teasing haruka in public and that keeps me thriving every single day. he’s always so open with his affection and he wants the whole world to know how much he loves his tiny angel. haruka gets so so embarrassed when souta teases him in public but deep down he loves it and he’s like “this is so embarrassing but don’t stop please” even if he’ll never ever be able to say that out loud.
in regards to in private i think it’s also souta! in private they’re sooo affectionate with each other. but haruka is so bashful 24/7 so i imagine that in private souta’s still the one who normally initiates the cuddles and smooches and everything. haruka’s also a lot more shy/subtle with his affection compared to souta. like souta will start kissing him and whispering cheesy lines in his ear while haruka will shyly tug on souta’s sleeve or lean against him and give a gentle kiss on the corner of his mouth to show that he wants more.
but yeah boy once souta’s initiated it then haruka returns the affection 100% and there’s just all these floaty anime hearts around them!!!
❥: who is more likely to plan something big for valentine’s day?
also souta!! he’s such a romantic at heart and he loves spoiling haruka and seeing that cute blush on his face so i totally imagine him wanting to go all out for valentine’s day or just any holiday in general! catch him spending a good 45 minutes in a store looking at all the valentine’s gifts like “would haruka like a teddy bear?? oh this one’s holding a rose!! he loves roses!!”
i can so see him doing the whole cliche candle-lit dinner too but instead of it being some big fancy meal it’s just like… a microwaveable dinner lfjgiosj but there’s roses and chocolates and haruka’s completely wooed like 💖💕💞
💝: who spends more time (possibly overthinking) what presents to get the other?
i actually think haruka does! souta spends a lot of time deciding what to get haruka too but he’s much better at picking all the “romantic” gifts and i dare say it’s one of the things that he feels confident about lol but in haruka’s case he worries about not getting souta something he’ll enjoy. he tends to overthink bc buying gifts for people is still just as new to him as receiving gifts is so he’s not too sure how to do it “right”
he knows what souta likes but that doesn’t stop him from second guessing and there’s always a small fear that souta won’t like what he gets so that makes it harder for him to decide on gifts. he just wants to make souta happy and you can bet that every time he gives him a gift he’s so shy and nervous about it ;v;
💚: who tends to get sick more often? who is better at taking care of the other?
gonna have to go with souta bc the poor handsome boy has a habit of staying up all night playing games and not eating enough which calls for nurse haruka sfhgis
he even helps him with the tiniest things like helping put his shirt on when souta stops halfway through bc “nvm this is too much” lmao souta’s basically a zombie and haruka helps him dress and lets souta just lean all over him when he’s in the kitchen making a pot of coffee for his half-alive boyfriend.
imagine haruka leading them into the living room and he can’t even sit down on the couch before souta just collapses on top of him and pins haruka underneath him and he mumbles into his hair like “mmm let’s… stay like this for a bit. just… five minutes ‘kay” and haruka gladly accepts it bc souta wants the cuddles and he lowkey loves being smothered /w\
in terms of who’s better at taking care of the other i think it might be souta?? even though haruka’s the one nursing souta back to health more often he’s still been a pampered little thing his whole life so he really hasn’t had to care for anyone until now. he’s still learning but with souta it does come naturally and he feels the instinctive need to care for him more than anyone else.
but yeah! esp with souta growing up with mai being so loving and nurturing i feel like he’s a bit better at it so whenever haruka ends up being the one who’s sick souta treats him like a prince. although i guess that’s just their every day life too ;)))

haruka and souta for ship meme!
send me a ship and i’ll tell you
who hogs the duvet: Haruka stays very still when he’s asleep so I think Souta’s a little more likely to unconsciously hog the blankets. But, this is rarely a problem since they sleep in each other’s arms all the time lolwho texts/rings to check how their day is going: They both do! Though I like imagining that Souta does it more often since he’s a big sap and wants to remind Haruka that he loves him so Haruka gets a lot of texts saying “i luv u!!! (´∀`)♡”who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: I think Souta is. Haruka’s not used to giving gifts but Souta’s also incredibly thoughtful so he likes showering Haruka with meaningful gifts.who gets up first in the morning: Haruka does most of the time, unless he’s had a rough sleep from a nightmare or Souta’s working an early job.who suggests new things in bed: YOU KNOW WHAT I feel like they’re really spontaneous. They’re both inexperienced and curious and they kinda just try something and it’s like “woah!!!” lmfao /w\who cries at movies: Souta does. He wears his heart on his sleeve and he’s really expressive with his emotions, meanwhile Haruka’s way too composed to let himself cry at movies.who gives unprompted massages: SOUTA I can totally see him surprising Haruka with a massage to cheer him up or help him relax. Though it’s not so much a proper massage as it is just running his hands all over Haruka’s body. But, Haruka appreciates it nonetheless.who fusses over the other when they’re sick: They’re both guilty of this omg I think Haruka fusses a little more, probably because Souta tends to insist that he’s okay. It really makes Haruka turn into a nurse.who gets jealous easiest: HMMM I feel like Haruka does. Not that Souta doesn’t get jealous sometimes, but I think he’s more protective than anything. Haruka can have a bit of a jealous streak since he’s so insecure about himself. He’s short and physically pretty weak, so he feels inadequate. He would get jealous if he sees Souta getting attention from someone who he views as “better” than himself.who has the most embarrassing taste in music: Souta fjkgh he doesn’t have a bad taste in music or anything but he likes to listen to some pop/anime songs while Haruka only ever listens to classical music.who collects something unusual: Haruka’s collected jewelry that used to belong to his mother, so probably him. It’s not really “unusual” I guess but I don’t think Souta collects anything weird.who takes the longest to get ready: Haruka does. He’s a pampered little thing so he takes his time showering/bathing and brushing his hair and all that. I imagine sometimes Souta brushes his hair for him since he’s already finished getting ready and doesn’t have anything else to do lolwho is the most tidy and organised: Haruka! He’s somewhat of a neat freak.who gets most excited about the holidays: Souta! I can see him really getting into celebrating and decorating. He enjoys getting involved in the festivities with Haruka and celebrating holidays together.who is the big spoon/little spoon: Souta’s the big spoon and Haruka’s his itty bitty little spoon ;u;who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports: I would fucking l o v e to see Souta get heated over a video game with Hotaru.who starts the most arguments: They rarely ever argue, but I can see both of them starting it. It depends on the context. Like Haruka would start an argument in regards to Souta coming back severely injured (missing limbs and everything) and telling him that he needs to be more careful while hunting. Souta might start an argument in regards to Haruka being too willing to get hurt for his sake, like how Haruka’s often willing to let Souta feed on him.who suggests that they buy a pet: S O U T A every cat is fair game and he’ll plead with Haruka to adopt it bc you can never have enough cats!!!what couple traditions they have: Probably celebrating the big holidays, like Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Any holiday is really an excuse to spend it together as a couple and be sappy. Also I love the image of them going to festivals together, wearing yukata and everything!what tv shows they watch together: ALL THE DISNEY FILMS ALL OF THEM!! I’m sure Souta’s so excited getting to show someone his favorite Disney movies. And I’ll forever love the headcanon of Souta tending to sing along to the classic songs into Haruka’s ear and embarrassing him djkgwhat other couple they hang out with: They go out with Kura and Hotaru! Souta and Hotaru bicker every time they see each other but at least Kura and Haruka are able to have a nice time /shothow they spend time together as a couple: So much cuddling, it’s ridiculous!! But really, they always spend their time cuddling and really just sharing their lives together. They do mundane stuff like going to the store, going to cafes - almost all of their time is spent together. They don’t always have to be doing something amazing or fun. They’re content just being with each other and having moments of peace.who made the first move: I’m inclined to imagine it was Souta, based on that first confession scenario from ages ago. But it also sort of just happened. Like I imagine both of them were too nervous and worried about admitting their feelings for each other, but one day it all kinda just boiled over. Like Souta ended up giving a peck to Haruka’s cheek or something and Souta was “!!!!” and Haruka was “!!!!” and it snowballed from there who brings flowers home: Even though Haruka’s the one with the giant garden, just imagine Souta surprising Haruka with a bouquet of flowers since he knows he likes them so much omgwho is the best cook: Haruka, solely for the fact that Souta can’t even eat human food. But, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t try! Sometimes he delivers Haruka a lovely breakfast in bed with an already baked cinnamon bun. True romance, folks.

(some symbols for the tiny watermelon ~!) ■☯ ∇♒
Headcanon meme~
■ -  Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon
It’s canon that Haruka has a ridiculously huge bed, like the spoiled little prince he is. It could fit at least five people and it’s way more space than his tiny self needs. It’s a four-poster bed, so I like to imagine that sometimes he attaches curtains to it. He’s able to remove/attach curtains around the bed and close them if he wants extra privacy or wants to sleep without being disturbed.
Since Haruka’s mansion is very western in overall appearance, the other Kujo family mansions are likely the same way. His entire life he’s had great influence from other countries, maybe even more so than Japan. His lifestyle isn’t traditionally Japanese in many ways, and the places that he’s lived haven’t looked like most Japanese residences.
☯ - likes/dislikes headcanon
Some of his likes include tea, flowers, and reading. His favorite type of flowers are roses. He’s very fond of red and pink roses, but he also likes yellow ones. Despite favoring roses and those being the majority of the type that he grows, he’s fairly knowledgeable about most flowers in general. His passion for flowers really started when he was a toddler and helped his mother tend to their garden.
Some of his dislikes include loud noises, fire, and insects. He has pyrophobia/arsonphobia, which a lot of people don’t know. Even those close to him likely don’t know because he puts on a facade and hides his emotions. His fear can fluctuate between tolerable and having trouble functioning. If it’s something small like a campfire, he’s normally able to tolerate it. But, if it’s something huge like a forest fire or a house fire, that can shake him.
It also depends on how close it is. For example, with a campfire he can choose to distance himself and stay safely away. He might still feel a bit uneasy, but the fear is minimized. If someone were to hold a lighter up to his face or he was trapped in a burning building, however, he would be terrified.
∇ -. old age/aging headcanon
If he’s being completely honest, he’s afraid of the future. He hasn’t given too much thought about getting older, but he worries greatly about what’s to come. Now that he’s been truly starting over with his life and having full control over it this time, he feels somewhat lost. He wants to make the most out of life and become a better person, but he doesn’t know how to.
There’s also the fear of losing the friends he got back, and the new ones he’s made. This is the first time in his life that he has people who he genuinely loves and cares about, and it scares him. He’s never felt attachment like this before.
Another fear is his future with Souta. He’s not ignorant, he knows the risk that Souta faces every day of his life. He’s painfully aware of what could happen and that their happiness could be ripped away at any time. He doesn’t ever really tell Souta just how worried he is. But, it often gnaws at the back of his mind. He loves Souta more than anything in the world, and he wants to have a life together. He wants to grow old together and experience so many things. But, there’s a small part of him, deep down, that’s absolutely petrified at the idea of losing Souta. He wouldn’t be able to take it.
♒ - cooking/food headcanon
Haruka really loves baking, and he’s been trying to improve at it. He’s been pampered and spoiled his whole life, but he likes making treats for himself when he gets the chance. Baking is also sort of a hobby for him and he finds it relaxing to try out a new recipe when he needs a breather from work or to de-stress a little.
It can be a distraction, but not necessarily a good one. He’s found that when he’s really distressed over something, he uses baking as a distraction and will continuously do it. He’ll end up baking an unnecessary amount of sweets, simply because he keeps going. He doesn’t want to focus on what’s bothering him, so he puts all his energy into baking. Sometimes he even does it after a nightmare. If he’s particularly disturbed by a nightmare and can’t fall back asleep, he’ll go to the kitchen in the middle of the night and start baking. It’s a distraction that gets out of hand sometimes.

(( ... I mean there's only one character on your blog but totally do the headcanons thing for haruka :'D ))
super cool character headcanons meme | @animeprotagonistshiro
i really want to answer this one too so i’m giving you yandere haruka this time 8^)
2-4 songs that are probably on their iPod
yandere haruka still loves classical music but he’s also super into vintage music. it’s his jam.
frankie masters and his orchestra - fun and fancy free, fred astaire - puttin’ on the ritz, glenn miller - in the mood, and the andrews sisters - boogie woogie bugle boy
the one place they sometimes end up falling asleep – where they’re not supposed to
it’s not a common occurrence but sometimes you’ll catch him dozing off in an alleyway in the middle of the night while he’s waiting for souta to finish eating some dude. bad habit haruka!!
the game they’d destroy everyone else at
he’s still awful at video games in this verse so board games are where he stands a good chance. he digs the game clue bc it’s the whole “intriguing murder mystery” trope. he’s probably played it more times than he can count so he’s able to beat everybody else at the game in no time.
the emoticon they’d use most often
god i feel like it’s this one (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
what they act like when they haven’t had enough sleep
he’s a bit more expressive about his grumpiness in this verse. he gets a small pout on his face and his voice will even take on a slight whine when he talks. it’s still downplayed to a degree but yeah it’s more noticeable that he’s grumpy.
their preferred hot beverage on really cold nights. or mornings. or whenever.
still tea! he loves tea no matter what verse.
how they like to comfort/care for themselves when they’re in a slump
he’s extremely needy and spoiled. he loves being pampered so if he’s in a slump and feeling bad then he treats himself. he’ll buy himself some fancy new clothes to cheer himself up bc he’s vain as hell and loves looking good.
what they wanted to be when they grew up
he’s still the head of his family in this verse so that’s all he’s thought about being. he hasn’t been given much of a chance to explore other careers. he actually likes his position a lot more than in canon. he likes feeling superior and his status is really what lets him get away with helping his boyfriend murder/eat people lmao
their favorite kind of weather
his fear of thunderstorms still exists but he’s got a much better handle on it. he’s an edgelord who loves gloomy rainy days bc it sets the #mood for his evil antics with souta.
thoughts on their singing voice (decent? terrible? soprano? alto?)
answered here! it’s the same case and he still has a decent singing voice. i can actually see him being willing to sing more in this verse. mostly just singing very softly to himself but yeee
how/what they like to draw or doodle
answered here! but in this verse he totally doodles little hearts around souta’s name. how embarrassing.
