[  STEPPING  BACK  ]

Too stuffy. It was too damn loud and stuffy in that room, with all those people pretending. Lying about who they are. A sea of masks. Kitty felt her head reeling. Overwhelmed by it all. The fake laughs and smiles. She stepped out into the crisp night air. Instantly feeling like she could breathe once more. The fox was never good in a cage of society for too long, she longed to run free in night air.

She walked to the white marble balcony and draped her arms against it leaning into it. Sighing heavily she stared into the grand garden stretching out before her under moon lit skies.

Her fox ears pricked back hearing the sound of foot steps behind her.

“Mm, too much for you too hm?” A familiar voice buzzed with a honey dipped tone laced with radio static.

She turned her head to see Alastor standing there, hands buried in his pockets. She offered him a small smile.

“It’s unbearable really. Everyone in there is so two faced.” She sighed running her fingers through her auburn hair.

He stepped to her left leaning on the balcony. The deer demon gave her his usual smile, but it crinkled the corners of his eyes. “Mm, fake people in gilded halls.” He mused, “but it is for work…the overlords insist on throwing these droll parties. As if I care to rub elbows with them.”

“But it’s all about appearance, isn’t it dear?” She said smiling up at him.

He chuckled “yes. A necessary evil.”

He could hear Vox loudly laughing inside and he rolled his eyes annoyed. Of corse someone like that would flourish here.

He reached into his coat pocket pulling out a box of cigarettes. “Coffin nail?” He grinned offering her one.

“oh please~not like we can get cancer.” She mused thinking about the fact that they’d be dead and stuck in this hell scape for over a hundred years. She took it putting it to her lips. Ever the gentleman, he lit it for her. She took a drag and blew it out to the side. “Damn that’s good.” She sighed content savoring the taste.

He chuckled softly taking a drag himself. “Mmn just what the doctor ordered hm?”

“Mmnhm.” She leaned back on the balcony as they shared a cigarette in the night.

His eyes twinkled looking down at her. Sometimes he saw glimpses of who she used to be. Katherine Hartfeild, Sweet Heart of the French quarter, the starlet of the silver magnolia. His mind bubbled with distant memories. The first time he danced with her. The first time he punched a man for her. The first time he killed for her. The first time they…

His eyes focused on her plush red lips. It’d been too long. They looked….tempting right now. The radio demon chuckled darkly. How had they been separated for so long? Memories were hazy here. Especially for the poor fox. She barely could recall anything after the trauma she suffered at the hands of her abusive ex-husband. He grit his teeth in anger suddenly thinking about that.

He was in a current mission to find that bastard and trap him in his radio waves. His eyes flickered with rage, but he felt her small delicate fingers on his hand and it snapped him from his mind. His rage cooled instantly. “Hm?” He said looking down at her.

“You good? You had a look of bloodlust for a moment.” She said softly

“Yeah….I’m good darlin. Just thinkin.” He said softly. He offered her a softer smile.

He didn’t want to go back in anytime soon. He just wanted to be with her in this moment. He just wanted to remember who they were, and what could have been.

What they could be.

Emma wasn’t just a big macaroon or a cupcake, but just the sheer sight of seeing Anna as Emma made the whole story more likable. Her facial expressions even were Emma like. The way Johnny moved was incredible, at 36 it was amazing to see him hop the stone walls yummy. The scenery was like a fairytale, Flynn’s acting was AMAZING. He is great, the way he was so overwhelmed with his love for Emma that he chased her all the way to Hartfeild with her gloves on his hand. UGH. The chemistry between these two, was like putting an ice cube on a hot stove. The storyline and everything was so great. I wanna watch it a thousand times over.

Paintball: Coming Soon

This story will feature characters from every Choices series, excluding Secret of the Veil.

Summary: It’s the biggest paintball competition that Hartfeild has ever hosted, and the team the wins gets to meet the cast of The Crown and the Flame and Tender Nothings.

Notes: I own none of the characters, and this will be one part.

The Pangea logs- The Goddess Trio

(aka the pangea trio)

The Goddess trio is a group of three women; Thea Sinclair (goddess of the celestial & the hunt), Claire Hartfeild (goddess of death & love) and Andrea St Booth (goddess of art & worship)

While these three aren’t gods per se, (mainly because god is dead) but, rather, beings of such power, that, they could be put up against a god.

If you take a deeper look into the trio, you will discover that they all had some kind of prowess before gaining their “god” status. For example, Claire, she had the universe strand in her system, giving her an advantage in combat. Or Andrea, using their incredible aim in ranged combat.

Thea, in particular has caught our eye. She was the most recent addition to the “Pangea Trio” and barely anything is known of her. However she is a contender for the most powerful, being the “goddess” of the celestial, having control over the moons phases, the formation of constellations or the day-night cycle. On the other hand, being of Diamandis, her agility and strength have also been of note, giving her the title of “Goddess of the Hunt”, being able to scout people out from miles away, having the ability to reach incredible speeds on her wheelchair, and being able to withstand incredible amounts of pain.

Claire has also been noted as an incredibly powerful being. Being a Universe Carrier, she has her advantages, but her abilities are nothing to sneeze at. Being able to control death, and most strangely, love. Claire can stop death itself for a moment, she can create human suffering in a snap of a finger (figuratively), and, also create bliss beyond belief in the same moment.

Andrea is the “goddess” of art & worship. She has notably been favoured by the masses, this could be because of her skill, being a renowned fighter since she was eleven can have an effect on her image, but it is almost impossible for that to be the sole reason. Her abilities that we know of are; Mild hypnosis, incredible persuasion skills, being able to produce projections from her mind and incredible aim.

In short, the goddess trio is not to be messed with, despite their appearance, they are formidable, and should be treated with caution.
