I know, I know! I should be writing reviews. Not that I have many to write, but I should be done with them already. I swear, I’ll get my reviews for Fighting for Chloe by Eva Jones and Harper Phoenix, Man candy by Jessica Lemmon and Hold on to me by Karen Grey, up in the next couple of days. But as you already know, I’m a masochist–and it’s reading month, you know! I added to my reading schedule…

My absolute pride and joy, my (newly) signed copy of Phantom of the Paradise collectors edition Blu-ray. I got to meet Mr. Williams on Friday and he was very very kind.

I'm actually a little taller than him which I find amusing because I'm only 5'3 and he had such an intimidating presence playing Swan.

a small, very telling detail from Phantom of the Paradise...the gift of a porcelain swan and flowers that Swan gives to Phoenix looks like it's signed with the same stamp that Swan uses to sign his contract with Winslow, just not in blood 👀 i think it speaks volumes about Swan's vanity that he stamped his own name on a personal message intended for Phoenix!! i wonder if Swan's internal self-image has become so warped over his years watching himself age in video and photographs, that even signing his own name is too terrifying? perhaps he's frightened to relay any authentic part of himself in a way which can be recorded? 💔
