Pairing: Daisuke x GN! Reader
Warnings: None, just fluff again :3
Wc: 1.3k+
Author's Note: Tadaa!! It's almost Christmas time baby! I'm super duper excited as it is already half of November!! Are you all ready to celebrate it, cause I sure am!
The snow was falling softly outside, coating the world in a blanket of white. The small town where Daisuke had grown up was quiet, the streets lined with festive lights and decorations. Inside his parents' house, however, there was nothing quiet about it. The living room was alive with the hum of Christmas music playing softly in the background, the scent of pine and cinnamon filling the air, and the soft crackle of a fire burning in the hearth. It was the perfect Christmas setting, and you were sharing it with Daisuke.
“Can you believe it?” Daisuke said, his voice full of excitement as he stood beside you in the entryway. His eyes sparkled with that familiar joy you adored. “Christmas at my parents’ house. I'm sure they're just as excited you are to meeting each other!”
You smiled at him, feeling a warmth spread through you as he took your hand, pulling you into the house. “I’m really happy to be here with you, Daisuke. This place feels so… cozy.”
His grin widened. “It’s definitely cozy. And my mom’s cooking is legendary, so get ready for some serious holiday feasting. You might not even have room for dessert by the end of the night.”
You laughed, feeling your stomach growl at the thought of what awaited. You’d heard a lot about Daisuke’s mom’s cooking, but this would be your first time tasting it. You could already smell the roast turkey and baked goods wafting from the kitchen.
The house was warm, full of life, and adorned with decorations that felt like they had been carefully placed with love. Christmas stockings hung from the mantle above the fireplace, each one bearing a name stitched in gold thread, and a grand tree stood in the corner, its branches weighed down with ornaments, tinsel, and fairy lights. The atmosphere was peaceful but bustling, with Daisuke’s parents—his mother in a festive red apron and his father pulling drinks from the fridge—filling the space with energy and laughter.
Daisuke led you to the living room where his family was already gathered. His parents, always warm and welcoming, greeted you with open arms.
“Ah, there you are, so you're the one my son keeps going on and on about!” His mother beamed as he mumbled something to her, seeming embarrassed she would expose him about that. She then stepped forward to give you a hug. “We’ve been waiting for you both. Everything’s ready for dinner, but we can always add more if you’re hungry before the big meal!”
“You must be starving after the drive!” his father added with a grin, holding out a glass of eggnog. “Don’t be shy, help yourself.”
You chuckled and accepted the drink, glancing over at Daisuke, who was practically glowing in his own way, standing close by with a proud smile.
“You must be excited to have us here,” you teased.
He nodded eagerly. “Are you kidding? I’ve been counting down the days to Christmas here with you and my family. I think I’ve spent almost every Christmas here since I was a kid, and this time it’s even better because you’re with me.”
The sincerity in his voice made your heart skip a beat. There was something about being here, in the warmth of his family’s home, surrounded by love, that made everything feel like it was falling into place.
“I’m really happy to be here, too,” you said softly, meeting his gaze. “It feels so... right.”
Daisuke grinned and reached for your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze before turning to his parents. “I think it’s time for us to get the party started! We still need to do the Secret Santa exchange, and I’m pretty sure everyone’s excited for that.”
His mom laughed. “Oh yes, we can’t forget about that! We all got something special this year, so I hope everyone’s ready for a little holiday fun.”
Dinner was a true feast. The table was piled high with everything you could imagine—roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, roasted vegetables, and an assortment of freshly baked rolls. In the center, a large cranberry sauce dish sat alongside platters of sweet potatoes and baked brussels sprouts. Daisuke’s mom had clearly outdone herself, and as you dug into your meal, you could tell that everyone was savoring each bite.
Between mouthfuls, you shared stories with Daisuke’s family, laughing and chatting about everything from your childhood traditions to more recent adventures. Daisuke’s dad was particularly fond of telling embarrassing stories about Daisuke when he was little, which had everyone in stitches. Daisuke, for his part, seemed unbothered by it all, even joining in with some of his own stories about his mischievous younger days.
But it wasn’t just the food or the laughter that made this night feel special—it was the way Daisuke kept glancing at you with that soft, affectionate look in his eyes, the way his hand would subtly brush against yours under the table, or how he’d pull you close during moments when no one was looking, as if to remind you that this was your time together.
--
After dinner, Daisuke insisted on taking you outside to see the backyard, which, as it turned out, had a stunning view of the town covered in snow. The Christmas lights from nearby houses reflected off the snow, creating a soft, magical glow that made the night feel like something out of a holiday movie.
“Come here,” Daisuke said, wrapping his arm around your shoulders and guiding you to the porch. “This is one of my favorite parts of Christmas—just looking out over the snow. My family used to come out here every Christmas Eve when I was younger and just… enjoy the peace.”
You stood with him, watching the snow fall gently, the cool air brushing against your skin. His presence beside you, his warmth, was enough to make everything feel even more magical.
“I never imagined I’d get to spend Christmas like this,” you murmured, leaning into him. “It’s been perfect.”
Daisuke smiled down at you, his fingers threading through yours as he pulled you a little closer. “I’ve been looking forward to this for so long, just to share it all with you. Christmas is better when you’re with the people you love, and that’s all I want for us.”
You leaned up to kiss him, the moment soft, gentle, and full of meaning. When you pulled away, Daisuke’s face was alight with happiness, his eyes sparkling.
“Merry Christmas, the most beautiful person I've ever seen,” he said softly.
You chuckled at his compliment as you stared deeply into his eyes in an, oh such affectionate way.
“Merry Christmas, Handsome,” you whispered back.
Later, as the evening drew on, everyone gathered around the tree for the Secret Santa exchange. You’d gotten Daisuke’s mom, and after some playful teasing, she opened the gift you’d picked out—a beautiful hand-knitted scarf, which she immediately wrapped around her neck with a delighted laugh. Then, Daisuke gave you your gift, a small box wrapped with care. When you opened it, you found a delicate silver bracelet with a charm that read together, a reminder of how far you’d come and how much you meant to each other.
You blinked back tears as you hugged him, your heart swelling with gratitude. “I love it, Daisuke. Thank you.”
“I’m glad you like it,” he said, his voice full of affection as he kissed your forehead. “This is just the beginning of our holiday together. I want to make this Christmas the best one yet.”
As the evening wound down, the two of you snuck off to a quiet corner of the living room, away from the laughter and chatter, to enjoy each other’s company in peace. With the soft glow of the Christmas tree lights surrounding you, Daisuke wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close.
“This is all I ever wanted,” he whispered, his voice full of love. “To be with you, here, now.”
And in that moment, surrounded by the warmth of his family, the love between you, and the gentle snowfall outside, you knew he was right. It didn’t matter where you were, as long as you were together.
“Merry Christmas, Daisuke,” you whispered, kissing him again.
“Merry Christmas,” he replied, smiling softly, his heart as full as yours.

With a friendship score of 39 and no romance, Piper is the lucky sim! And since we owe Pauline for ending the night at the karaoke bar with the highest level of singing skill, she will go on her date after Piper's.
I wanted Lilac to be in a better mood than she was for most of yesterday, so she took a relaxing lavender foam soak.
Tumblr media
Possibly it worked a little too well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Romantic Aura, says Spencer? Yes please! He starts the day by giving a rose to Lilac… who responds by scaring him (yup, definitely way too much time spent around her good buddy Dodo). Fortunately he seems amused by her silliness. Perhaps it’s a Harper thing?
Tumblr media
Everyone is happy because it’s Some Day Or Another that they will never get to celebrate. (Neighbourhood Brawl, it turns out. But while Agnes Crumplebottom will likely be celebrating, we will not.)
Pauline made breakfast, while Spencer made an observation.
Tumblr media
Looks like his preferences are closer to Leo’s than to Dodo’s.
Tumblr media
Last night was the first that the sims slept over, and Caden reveals a surprising... what Agnes may call a 'youthful indiscretion.' It's just a tattoo, Agnes, but I likewise concur that he didn't seem the type. Does our corporate shark has a creative side? Well, he does have 'piano' as one of his likes, and recently took up knitting.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Avery - go piss girl! Literally no one is stopping you. They take the very long route to the party bush outside, when there's a toilet right through the wall from them. Never change, Sims.
With the lot traits it was only a matter of time, and Lilac did not disappoint.
Tumblr media
Lilac and Spencer sojourning upstairs means that as per usual, it’s time for chore montage hour. Which may be less interesting than whatever's happening in Lilac's bedroom, but it's also less likely to get me banned from Tumblr.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Caden and Piper were our gardeners, but as Piper twice refuses the Watcher’s request to do some work, they’re sent to sleep on the couch. Instead Pauline (who has been the MVP of this household so far) takes their place, while Avery becomes our piano sim and Aubrey grinds through handiness.
Tumblr media
Aubrey grows tense over last night's failed Graffiti Heist (any one of us could have told you why that wouldn't have worked) so she is the latest pixel to take up yoga.
Tumblr media
As we see, some sims are definitely taking more advantage of the lot traits than others, but with a date scheduled, will Piper be able to push through their UNFLIRTY nature?
Since a little bikini time never hurt the mood, the date takes place on a Strangerville community lot. (I wrote down who it was by but can I find it in my notes? No, I can't.)
Tumblr media
A moment to appreciate Piper’s merfolk form.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As with the first household dates, Lilac performs one friendly and one flirty interaction, then the pair are left to their own devices. It’s not a bad time by any means, but both she and I get the sense that friendship is enough for the other sim (for now, at least).
Piper then goes downstairs to swim and with our time almost up, I don’t see the need to continue the date to its full three hours.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pauline arrives and the mood is instantly more charged. They make their way to the hot tub and Lilac makes some moves.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And yes, woo hoo was had.
Tumblr media
The pair are home for all of a hot minute when NOSY Sim Spencer spies on Pauline, and attempts to dish for dirt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Things continue to improve between Caden and Lilac. Today his attempt to embrace her is successful, and they even sit together for dinner.
Tumblr media
More singing about yet another holiday that the Watcher really should have removed from this household's calendar had she a single organized bone in her body, then it's time for bed.

Fluffvember day 14 - In the Rain
Ganondorf had to admit, he had not expected to be downright excited to be returning home.
It had been almost a year since the entire family had been together. Ganondorf had been tirelessly working with Merovar, befriending King Ozen, making trade negotiations… all the while he and his children would make sporadic visits to the desert but never together, and he would sometimes swap places with his wife, letting her visit Hyrule while he was in the Gerudo capital.
With the Festival of Colors approaching, it was time to finally change that.
The festival was a delightful time of year, filled with colors and excitement and pageantry, a celebration of the coming spring. It was a pity they could not share such a holiday with Hyrule, as it would be a good means of showing their power and splendor, but honestly he was just as happy to have this celebration at home with no Hyrulian scrutiny.
Well, there was one Hyrulian who would be there. But after nearly a year of getting to know him, Ganondorf didn’t mind.
Speaking of Orik, though, the Gerudo king realized there was an issue. His people were all returning for the festival, a fairly sizable group traveling together, with multiple tents pitched and guards posted as they made camp for the night. Ganondorf had his own large tent, the twins had theirs, and then everyone else generally shared four women to a tent.
Orik sat in the rain alone, cloak pulled over him tightly.
It was nearly midnight. Ganondorf had only noticed because he heard the rain start to fall and wanted to peek outside, sometimes enjoying the sight. He knew for certain Hemisi had to be asleep or she would’ve dragged Link into her and her brother’s tent the instant she saw him outside.
Ganondorf hesitated. He liked the rain but he didn’t want to be out in it. But he sighed, relenting, throwing a cloak on and stepping towards the boy.
“Orik,” he called quietly. “What are you doing?”
The young Sheikah warrior glanced at him, looking very small all of a sudden. He tipped his head apologetically, calmly saying, “This was the best spot for shelter with the rocks sticking out, my lord. I can move, if you like.”
What? “Where’s your tent, boy?”
Orik shifted a little uncomfortably. “I, uh, don’t have one.”
Ganondorf stared at him. This was their second night camping on their journey. What had he done the first night?? And what about— “How did you journey to the desert last time?”
The only other time Orik has been to Gerudo Desert was when he’d been introduced to the entire family after he and Hemisi had started dating, and that has been nearly a year ago. He and Hemisi had traveled together then, had they not? Had he shared a tent with her then?
“I sent Hemisi ahead,” Orik answered. “She could travel with the entourage that way. I… don’t like making a scene.”
Goddesses if that wasn’t the truth. Ganondorf couldn’t fathom it, loving such attention and very much accustomed to it, but he knew by now how shy the boy could be. Sheikah were creatures of the shadows, he supposed. But that meant the kid had been roughing it the entire journey there and back, and this time…
Pinching the bridge of his nose, he asked, “And where, pray tell, did you sleep last night?”
“The grass was really soft, Lord Ganondorf, I promise—”
“Come here,” Ganondorf immediately ordered, exasperated but not surprised. Honestly, this teenager. Didn’t Hyrule supply its soldiers with some basic necessities? Or did Orik not even think to ask? The kid was an independent warrior, he had to be at least, what, sixteen? Surely he’d gotten enough experience traveling that he should know better by now.
Orik could be a mystery sometimes. Quiet and obedient, but able to flip on a moment’s notice and cause chaos. Intelligent and seemingly not innocent of the ways of the world yet simultaneously so naive.
The teenager obeyed without any attempt at insisting he was fine, which was at least a good indication that he’d finally learned not to argue with Ganondorf. He was shaping up to be a good son-in-law, if it did eventually go that way.
Hemisi would be of age in just over a year. What a terrifying thought. But he imagined they’d have the Triforce far before that.
Disregarding such plans for the time being, Ganondorf reached out just as Orik got close enough, pulling the boy under his cloak. The kid’s clothes were soaked.
“Best spot for shelter?” He repeated, feeling Orik shiver a little.
The Sheikah halfheartedly remarked, “For the circumstances, yes. I didn’t say it was a good place.”
Humming a little at the boy’s cheekiness, the Gerudo king guided him towards his own tent. Orik nearly planted his feet in as soon as he realized where they were going, but a firm hand on his shoulder moved him forward.
Once they were inside the tent, Ganondorf slipped his own cloak off and grabbed a blanket. “Strip down, boy, you’re not sleeping drenched.”
The Sheikah watched him a moment, red eyes debating the matter. Ganondorf let him have the moment, but only briefly - if Orik wanted to be treated like a man, he needed to start taking care of himself like one. Why couldn’t he figure that out?
Sighing, the kid pulled off his cloak, and his simple folded tunic. Then he removed his boots, but left his greyish brown trousers on. Ganondorf tossed him a spare pair of Merovar’s, alongside one of his son’s tunics - his own child was bigger than the Sheikah, but it would do. And it was freezing - Hyrule’s winter was still clinging to the land, rain barely warm enough to not be ice.
Orik stared a moment longer, and Ganondorf at least granted him some dignity by turning away for privacy. When he heard clothing stop rustling, he stretched and laid back down on the large bed near the center of the tent; the center itself was dedicated to the small fire, smoke trailing to the opening cut away to sit above the rest of the roof of the canvas. There were enough blankets to even bury the large king of the Gerudo. It would do.
“Come on,” he bade, patting the bed as he turned to see the boy. “Get in bed.”
Ganondorf nearly laughed as he got a good look at Orik. The boy truly looked like a child dressed in oversized clothing, and the mild alarm at his suggestion was evident.
“Lord Ganondorf—”
“Are you arguing with me, child?” He questioned, raising an eyebrow.
Orik’s protest stammered to a halt, but he didn’t quite look ready to give up yet. Ganondorf didn’t fault him - he too would argue over being coddled and cuddled.
For a moment, a small part of the Gerudo king wondered what it would be like, for his own father to hold him. But he pushed the thought away. He’d never known the man and didn’t need to.
Orik found his voice. “I promise I’ll be okay outside, my lord. It’s not my intent to inconvenience you so much.”
“I will decide what’s inconvenient to me,” Ganondorf fired back easily. You’ll have to try harder than that, kid.
Orik floundered again for a second, biting his lip. He seemed to be moving from surprise and mild alarm to guilt and worry, maybe even fear.
That put the Gerudo ill at ease. Taking a gentler tone, he said, “Orik, you know you’re safe here with us, right?”
Orik’s eyes widened further, catching the implication, and he hastily corrected, “Y-yes, my lord, I would never dare imply that you make me feel uncomfortable in such a manner!”
Thank Din. Fine. Not an issue, then. “Then get in bed, child. It’s cold and your lack of foresight will get you ill. I’m not having you be sick for the duration of the festival.”
Orik shifted his weight a little and then sighed, finally relenting. Ganondorf moved the blankets, letting the teenager settle on the mattress, still very obviously shivering. Slowly, the Gerudo king relaxed in the bed, stretching a little. When he saw how stiff Orik was, he hesitated again.
Having grown up in a culture of women made Ganondorf naturally far more physically affectionate. His people were very open in how they showed their care. Ganondorf had little use for such actions prior to getting married, but now he was very accustomed to it. He figured by now that Orik knew he had to be on good terms with the family, though the circumstances tonight were unusual - Ganondorf was not in the habit of letting a teenager who wasn’t his own stay with him. Nevertheless, if he left Orik to his own devices he knew the kid would go back outside and that was not an option.
Perhaps Sheikah were just cold and aloof to their children.
Ganondorf was not a Sheikah, though. So he wasn’t going to leave the kid just freezing. He cared about him too much at this point.
Sneaky little brat, worming his way into the Gerudo king’s heart. Honestly.
“If you ever wish to join this family you’d better get used to this, because I can assure you Nabooru will cuddle you to death,” he quipped mildly. “And Hemisi is far worse.”
Unexpectedly, Orik giggled at the words, relaxing a little, and it made Ganondorf smile.
Thank the goddesses this was their last night before reaching the desert. He could only be so affectionate to the kid. But…
You know damn well this isn’t going to be the only time.
No, perhaps not, he mused as Orik carefully tried to maneuver himself to be more comfortable, close enough to feel Ganondorf’s body warmth without being quite in reach.
He heard the child yawn, shivers lessening a little, and he relaxed, falling asleep.
XXX
Link listened as the rain grew heavier on the tarp above. The small fire was nearly burnt out, simmering with the occasional pop as a raindrop leaked in through the opening overtop. He felt a little uncomfortable, stiff in an awkward position as he tried to be as unobtrusive in the bed as possible.
Lord Ganondorf had insisted this was how the family would treat Link, if he were to ever…
Merovar’s words echoed in his mind, speaking of how Queen Nabooru loved him, how Lord Ganondorf…
Well, it was downright ridiculous to let his mind convince him the Gerudo king consort didn’t at least like him considering what he was doing. Ganondorf was not a very accommodating man, demanding others bend to his own will. He was stubborn and did not suffer fools. Link sometimes wondered why he was trying so hard to befriend King Ozen, considering…
Well. Link was just a guard. He knew nothing of politics. But what little he’d observed, he wasn’t entirely sure King Ozen was someone Ganondorf would respect. But he supposed that didn’t matter - one did what one had to do that their own kingdoms survived.
He was just grateful he was able to meet all of them.
But more to the direct issue, Link had never really slept in the same bed as anyone. Many years ago, in the orphanage, he’d slept on the floor with the other kids, but never shared a mattress. So while he was blessedly warm, he was… he didn’t know, he didn’t want to bother Lord Ganondorf by trying to move or stretch, and what if he had to get up or turn or sneeze or anything like that? Would the man sleep through it?
Almost as if to answer his question, the Gerudo king let out a loud snore. Link jumped, completely caught off guard, and then he almost laughed.
When he wiggled a little, though, he felt Ganondorf stiffen. Link, in turn, stiffened even more.
Sighing, he resigned himself to just not sleeping. He tried to enjoy the warmth, at least, and somehow the weight of Ganondorf’s arm over his side was grounding. Sometimes anxiety got the best of Link at night, making it difficult to sleep well, but for whatever reason that wasn’t quite the case tonight.
Instead, Link found himself thinking about what it would be like if he could just have moments like this more often. Perhaps it wouldn’t be as uncomfortable or awkward. Or maybe if it was during the day instead…
Oh stop it. No one is going to hold you just for the sake of it.
Well. Hemisi did. Link liked snuggling with her. But the King and Queen of the Gerudo?
Link knew it was silly to wish for such a thing. But being stuck in this situation, he…
He shook his head. Maybe just think about something else. There was no point mourning a childhood without parents.
But he steadily relaxed in the bed, nodding off just as the sun started to rise.
And, a few days later, when he was bedridden with sand fever, as lucidity finally came back to drag him into the daylight, he felt a warm arm around him, heard a heart beating against his ear. Link moved a little, not bothering to worry about waking anyone, just letting himself be comfortable as Ganondorf readjusted in the bed alongside him, holding him close. In that early dawn light, Link felt safe and loved and he smiled, ignoring how his eyes stung a little, chalking it up to the fever, and snuggled with his guardian.

Liz, if you're feeling well enough, and ONLY if you're feeling well enough, I have A Very Important Question for you that's very different from my usual asks. What would the FW characters be for Halloween (if they're dressing up at all)? Love,
❤️
we shall ignore that this is a few weeks late…
of course! I did this for the gfs, but now let’s talk about the bfs (and Imogen and Vi) <3 some of these are non-answers, more just vibes, because my brain is fried, and it’s hard to come up with costumes that could possibly be used in their world.
Brennan is “too old for this shit”, but if pressed, he’ll wear the same costume that he has for the last five plus years. idk what it is. it probably just involves something other than a black shirt and his flight jacket, which is his standard outfit.
Xaden “doesn’t do holidays” as we’ve established. but if Violet asked him to do something, or even mentioned being excited about it at all, he’d pull a full 180 and now it’s his favorite night of the year. I’ve seen a few fanarts of them two in dragon onesies and I absolutely adore them. so let’s go with that.
Garrick is finding a way to show off his muscle. so whatever allows him to be shirtless. nobody is complaining about that.
Dain… I love him, but he’s the wet blanket who doesn’t dress up. one of them, at least. Aaric’s also in this category. it’s not a classy, royal-ish holiday, so I think he probably wouldn’t have been allowed to celebrate it as a kid. he’s content to appear outwardly disapproving, but his inner child is secretly healing just being around everyone having fun with it.
I can’t decide if Imogen is doing something that embraces the pink hair or not. Probably not. Garrick probably suggested she dress up as a strawberry or something, because pink, and she probably threw something at him.
Sawyer is going as a cowboy, because he already has all the stuff. (my farm boy Sawyer agenda cannot be stopped.)
Ridoc is going all out, because if there’s one thing he’ll do, it’s commit to a bit. he spent a week planning it all out. whatever it is, it’s head to toe, full commitment. everyone is wondering where he got the stuff, but “a lady never tells.”
I see Rhiannon doing something simple. a witch, etc. she looks gorgeous, whatever it is. wbk 😌
Liam, my sweet cheese, our golden boy… he can be the Andarna to round out the dragon trio with Vi and Xaden. Andarna is incredibly pleased with this decision, and happy to be represented by him.

Black Butler Amino, Black Arts Magazine - Holiday Party
it doesn't quite look like a holiday party from here, but what I imagined as a humble little piece is~~ Ciel and Lizzy sneak away from the big bustling midford Christmas party and raid the kitchen desserts, like they did when they were kids(it was Lizzy's idea, Ciel clearly hasn't been himself since he returned, and she wanted to bring him back).

Hc that Luther let Maria keep her Christmas traditions when they got married, so Nicky grew up celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve and opening gifts at midnight and then doing stockings and a last gift Christmas day in the morning (because Luther still wanted to do some Christmas celebrating on Christmas day).
He continues this tradition when he takes in the twins. It's an adjustment for the twins, but despite Aaron's complaining and Andrew's non-reactions, they like actually celebrating Christmas without the tension and strain that's always been connected to it all their lives due to their upbrinings. They like having a tradition with someone who actually cares about them.
When they join the Foxes, everyone is too separated to be interested in having any kind of celebration together, but after Neil's freshman year, Nicky mentions their way of celebrating, and it intrigues everyone. They all agree to go along with this way of celebrating all together (it makes Nicky cry of joy). They fly Randy and Stephanie and Erik to South Carolina and decorate Abby's house inside and out and have the best Christmas celebration Nicky ever remembers having. He's never been so happy, surrounded by family, everyone happy and having a good time.
Nicky enjoys watching the Foxes deal with the struggle of having to wait until midnight to open presents for the first time. Aaron and Andrew are used to it now after a few years, so the three of them have a good time watching everyone impatiently start to count the minutes until midnight starting at 10:30pm.
When midnight hits, cheers loud enough to wake the whole neighborhood erupt from inside the house, and Wymack has to step in to keep the tree and the mound of presents under it from being demolished. He hands presents out one by one and smiles and laughter accompany the opening of all the presents.
When everything is passed out and opened, they take some time to have their last few desserts and conversations before calling it a night. Nicky cuddles on the couch with Erik and simply lets himself soak in the joy of being able to enjoy his traditions with his new family.

one thing about people with pisces and taurus placements is that they are going to sleep. they are probably asleep right now. they are resting. napping. taking a little snooze. no one and nothing will stop them from having a little restful slumber! it does not matter where they are, what time it is, how long they slept last night or how long their to do list is. they will sleep!!! they may have their eyes open or be in a conversation with you but they are actually eyes open sleeping having a nice little dream about their future and their bed

hey! for the headcannons you're doing what ab viktor with a reader who isn't exactly that smart? like she has trouble grasping subjects like science and math but is good at art or something. thank you💛
Whoever said that not knowing math and/or science makes you dumb is a butthead and a liar - intelligence comes in so many forms, and all of them are important and worthy of praise.
Viktor x Reader (SFW)
-You’re probably a friend of Jayce’s, and that’s how you initially meet Viktor.
-You come to visit them at the lab one day, bringing a box of miscellaneous snacks and a thermos of coffee. Viktor initially believes that the snacks are probably just for Jayce, because why would you bring something for someone you didn’t know?
-But then you introduce yourself to him as well, and happily offer your trove.
-He’s not exactly off-put, but he definitely thinks that you’re just being polite because Jayce is there.
-You start coming around more frequently after that, dropping by on your time off to chatter to both of them. It’s a little hard to get work done when you’re around, since you’re so eager to talk their ears off, but Viktor…doesn’t really mind.
-He’s not particularly social, but part of that is probably due to how he grew up, and where he currently resides - most people either never give him the chance, or are too pretentious to interest him. So he keeps to himself.
-But you’re different. You’re kind, you’re funny, and more than that, you listen to what he’s saying. You don’t really understand half of what he goes on about, but you’re engaged nonetheless. You ask questions, and you pay attention.
-And it’s not only when he talks about his work.
-Within a week of knowing him, you start bringing pastries that he likes, some of which Jayce will turn his nose up at - you’d heard him when he’d offhandedly mentioned liking sweetmilk, and now you bring a little bit of that in a thermos beside the usual coffee.
-So when you inevitably turn up on one of the days that only Viktor is in the lab, he expects it to be a pleasant afternoon. Since Jayce is away, he figures he can bounce ideas off of you.
-It doesn’t go as planned.
-The first time he asks for your opinion, you fumble a little bit, and end up suggesting something completely absurd - it would never work, he knew, and he knew that Jayce would know that as well.
-Maybe you’re just having an off day.
-But a while later when he asks for your input again, you stutter a bit, sigh, and hit him with an I don’t know.
-He’s not upset so much as he is confused. You’d been so interested in the things he talked to you about, and you’d asked so many questions - how could you not know the basic mechanics of what he was working on.
-You grow quiet after that, and the silence between the both of you isn’t particularly comfortable. He can hear you fidgeting elsewhere in the room, as well as the scratch and scribble of your pencil on paper.
-He tries to ignore the tension.
-He fails.
-But right as he turns to you to say something, Jayce strides into the room, tired and agitated and just about ready to pace a hole in the floor.
- “You two are surprisingly quiet,” he says, sitting down to start working. It’s an offhanded comment, something meant to be light and joking, but it stings Viktor nonetheless.
-What stings him even more is your reply.
- “You know how I am, Jayce,” your tone is light and airy, “I’m not smart like either of you - if I don’t shut up, I’ll say something stupid, and that’s when stuff blows up.”
-You’re clearly trying to be funny about it, but he can hear the way your voice clips at the end; you’re sad.
-You take off shortly after that, leaving behind the box of snacks, and taking the empty drink containers with you.
-Viktor doesn’t see you for almost two weeks after that.
-He asks about you, but Jayce only shrugs.
-They’re probably just busy, he says. Art school is tedious, I guess.
-It hits him then. In all the time he’d talked to you, all the conversations you’d had, laughter you’d shared, and problems he’d worked through…he’d never asked about you. You’d diligently hung off his every word, and asked questions, and shown an interest, and he…
-He hadn’t done the same.
-And when you hadn’t been able to offer him more than an ear to listen, you’d clammed up. You’d shut down, and promptly thought yourself inadequate.
-With guilt weighing on him, he quietly asks Jayce where he could find you.
-He finds you in one of the empty classrooms in the academy. A space that had been shut down for a while, with the desks and chairs stacked high against the far wall - save for one, that you had carefully lifted down and set up near the window.
-You’re hunched forward and incredibly focused on the easel in front of you, a palette in hand and what looks like four dozen bottles of paint on the table next to you.
-He can’t see what you’re working on from where he stands in the doorway, but whatever it is has your attention so rapt that you don’t notice him.
-It gives him a moment to collect himself.
-It also gives him a moment to stare.
-A moment to observe you in your flow state, a moment to find the little crease of concentration between your brows, a moment to watch as your gaze flicks across your canvas.
-Your passion and dedication almost looks like an art in its own right.
-And then the door creaks beside him, and you tear your eyes away from your work. At first you look like you’re about to get a scolding, but once you realize it’s him, your expression morphs into surprise.
- “Viktor,” you say softly, the barest hint of a smile tugging at the corners of your mouth. “I didn’t- what are you doing here?”
-You set your paintbrush down and swivel in your chair so you can face him, beckoning him further into the room.
-As he wanders over to your side, he explains that he was looking for you. “Jayce told me where I could find you,” he says, coming to a stop a couple feet from you. “I…wanted to talk about the last time we spoke.”
-All at once, your face falls, though it’s obvious you try to hide it. “Ah, yeah,” you mumble. “Sorry about that, by the way. I know you needed someone to bounce ideas off of, butI’m…not really the best candidate for that.”
- “I actually wanted to apologize,” he admits, much to your surprise. “It wasn’t my intention to make you feel as though you are…less…just because you might not understand what I do.”
-You shrug, pretending to be unbothered. “It’s fine,” you tell him. “I’m used to Jayce going on about his inventions, and I know I’ll never be smart enough to understand. I wish I was. I wish I could help both of you - you work so hard and put up with so much shit…”
-You sigh. “Doesn’t matter, though. There’s no sense in wishing I could be something I’m not. So you don’t need to worry-”
-Without thinking, Viktor reaches out to you, and sets a hand on your shoulder, giving a light squeeze.
- “You’re not stupid,” he says firmly, fixing you with an argumentative frown. “So you do not know how machines work - most people do not-”
- “Yeah, but most people can grasp the concept after they learn about it,” you cut him off, grumbling. “I’ve been listening to Jayce for years, Viktor, and I- I still have no idea what anything is! I have to count on my fingers when I do math, and I can’t look at blueprints and figure out what the final product is! I’m just not-”
- “If you say you are not smart one more time,” he threatens, though there’s no malice in his tone.
-You droop.
-Viktor turns to your painting.
- “Do you not see what you have created?” he asks, nodding towards your work. “How many people could make something like this?”
- “It’s not even finished-”
- “And yet I could not tell.” He sighs softly, his gaze dropping to the floor for a couple moments, before flicking back up to you. “I couldn’t tell you the first thing about colours, or structure, or perspective…and yet you have such a grasp over it that you’re able to make something like this purely from memory.”
- “You’re brilliant,” he tells you, “and anyone who says otherwise is the idiot.”
-You do your best to hide a sniffle, laughing quietly at yourself when you wipe the budding tears from your eyes. But he can see that you’re happy, and that your confidence and spirit have brightened.
- “Thank you, Viktor,” you say with a smile, and he lets his hand fall from your shoulder.
- “Will you start visiting the lab again, now?” he wonders, his heart fluttering when you nod.

MERRY CHRISTMAS y'all 💐⛄
Chapter 7 (Part 1) is OUT!!!
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23320720/chapters/82132417
If you're going to have tea with a powerful demon you know, be careful. Not because there's a particular way to mess it up, but because there's a high likelihood that your curiosity really WILL kill you.
If you're going to have tea with your strange human, be careful. Not because there's a particular way to enjoy it, but because getting close to one might mean you learn something you're not ready to hear.

It‘s important everyone knows that Joe Kelly called this „Peanut dancing“ in his script and David absolutely nailed it.
