The Broken Contract
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Pairing: Morax/Zhongli x Reader
Other characters: Osial
Category: romance, angst, sfw,
Warnings: death of a character, violence I guess, since you'll read someone's death
Author's note: I recently entered this fandom and according to my PC, I'm not leaving soon since I installed the game and I'm a total addict to it. Also, you people ready to pull for Daddy Geo?
Tumblr media
You were there to speak with your brother, you were trying to reason with him, even when he didn't wanted to hear reasons to stop the war. You hated the place where you were, between two persons you loved: Your brother and your husband. You just wanted them to stop trying to kill each other.
Osial was there because you were his sister, had it been anyone else he wouldn't have appear. It didn´t matter that you were technically his enemy. You were always a bit smarter than him, and if he could get you back on his side, he was going to hear everything you had to say.
Morax was there because he thought you were acting strange. He didn't distrust you, he thought there was something wrong with you. Maybe you were tired and in need of a few days away from the war. He was there to tell you to go rest. What he saw however were you being held by Osial, staying so close, speaking so soft that he was struggling to hear.
Morax thought you were betraying him. You who had looked out for him, you who had got close to him. You, who had made yourself comfortable by his side. You who had carved your name in his heart. How was it possible? How could you fool him?
You laughed and suddenly the sound wasn't lovable but sinister and Morax caught your words as you laughed: "God of fools". Osial laughed along and crush you against him, you hugged him back hiding your face in Osial's chest and Morax wasn't able to handle it. Not only were you betraying him, you were breaking the most important contract for him: marriage. Every contract was sacred, but this was the worst, there was only one way to pay, death. He shot his polearm, thinking he would be able to take down two birds with one stone or pole arm, but there was no luck, he had only pierced through you.
Osial's expression of horror and panic was the most delightful image Morax was able to see, he called upon his weapon and the polearm flew back to his hand as you fell back out of Osial's hug, spilling your blood in the ground.
The God of contracts saw you and he felt something breaking even more when he saw your eyes focusing on him, blood fell from your mouth but the expression on your face was the same you had a couple of nights ago, as you told him you loved him.
— Look Os, it's my hus...— There wasn't a proper end for the statement as your eyes went dull, lifeless.
Osial felt the rage burst in his veins, poisoned words started to form in his mind, he wanted to avenge you but seeing you bloodied in the ground made him stop. You would never want that. You would never want to hurt Morax.
Osial, however, was a vengeful creature, not even the pain and suffering from your lost allowed him to let go and forgive. He couldn't do it, he was never going to forgive Morax, not even when he was being sealed in his gigantic, monstruos form.
"She didn't double-cross nor commit adultery. The sweet, precious and beautiful Y/n was my sister. She convinced me to stop fighting... Then you broke the most sacred of all contracts: Marriage"
Morax didn't show a reaction. His cold stone gaze stayed in the sea monster and shot the last one of his rock spears needed to seal him
"You shall suffer the wrath of the rock" Osial laughed after those words "You killed your wife for nothing and now you can't even ask forgiveness to her grave."
With the ritual done, Morax looked at the place where Osial now rested. Cold raindrops started to fall over him but he didn't moved. The cold water soaked his clothes, the droplets traveled over his skin and a sad smiled formed in his lips.
" What do you mean with that? We will never be apart. If you miss me or if you feel lonely, I will send rain your way. Every raindrop will be a kiss, if you get soaked it's because I'm hugging you and If the droplets trail down your body, those will be my fingers, going down your body to soothe you"
How stupid had he been. He couldn't even blame his feelings since he hadn't killed you out of rage or jealousy. He was thinking straight, he was rational when thinking that you had broke the marriage contract and needed to feel the wrath of the rock. How foolish of him, to think you would ever betray him and his love.

Sukuna’s Wife and Yuuji’s Onee-chan (Sukuna x Reincarnated!Y/N) au headcanons
Other snippets of this au
Tumblr media
Yuuji’s Onee-chan Random HCs
You never worried about Yuuji’s social life, because he was like the sun, the type of guy to attract all sorts of people. He was kind and polite and defended others from injustice. However, you were never attached to any of the friends he hung out with from kindergarten to high school; not until you met Megumi and Nobara.
You would get along with Megumi, who has a soft spot for older sister types because of his own sister. He respects your opinion a lot and you love how he protected Yuuji.
Nobara took a liking to you instantly. Much like Megumi, she sees you as an older sister and often goes to you for advice or just to rant. She looks up to you as a role model, but secretly in your heart, you wanted to tell her that she shouldn’t emulate you, because while she and the others were selfless and would sacrifice their lives for the greater good, you were the opposite. You would sacrifice everybody else for your baby brother.
You owe a debt of gratitude to Satoru Gojo. He shielded Yuuji from harm and provided you two with a safe haven. That being said, you didn’t like him. You didn’t doubt his compassion, but he seemed duplicitous, not to mention it bothered you how a grown man insisted on treating minors as his friends.*
You despised Ryomen Sukuna. If not for him, Yuuji wouldn’t be on death row. He claims that he is your husband, but you don’t even know what he looks like–when you “saw” him, he overtook Yuuji and marred his skin with black tattoos,** a sickening grin in place of a sweet smile. You will never forget it. You will never forgive him.
…So you thought, but ever since Yuuji’s possession, you began having odd dreams of old Japan, filled with scenes in a manor so large and grand it reminded you of imperial palaces in period pieces. Sometimes you’d be outside. Bright red maple leaves fell like snow around you, the mild, woody scent of cypress was ever present. Sometimes you'd see a familiar childlike silhouette that morphed into a kitten.
Regardless of where you were, a faceless man was always there, towering above you.
With the reveal of sorcery and curses, you suspected that these dreams were not mere dreams…
[1] Canonically, we know that there is more to Gojo than this, and you have no idea about the despicable things I’d let him do to me–but I’m writing these based on what Yuuji’s protective big sister would think. Frankly, as someone with younger underage siblings, I would be worried too if their adult teacher spent their free time hanging out with them.
[2] I believe that in-universe, the characters can’t tell when Sukuna is the one actively using the body of his host and that the shift in visuals is just for the benefit of the audience. However, Y/N here sees the changes: tattoos, four eyes, etc.

Ribbons and Pearls.
Sort of a part 2 to Nemophilist, but like a drabble format.
The stellaron hunters with their glorified pet, you.
Thanks to @hannya-writes for this lovely brainrot.
CW: You are their pet, it's fluff, but like, yeh.
Honkai Star Rail | Main Masterlist
✿Blade, who tolerates your presence, he likes you more than most, if only cause you are quiet (you literally don’t remember the language). His jaw does tick every time you call him “Bladie” like Kafka, he lets it slide at first thinking you’d start mimicking the others, you don’t.
✿Blade, who teaches you to call him “Blade”, only for Kafka to laugh and ruin it all. You learn quickly that if you call him “Blade” rather than “Bladie, you get more affection from him (affection being him not looking at you like he wants to murder you).
✿Blade, who after some time does warm up to you, if only enough to let you into his personal space without itching for his sword. You get to sit by his side while he cleans his sword, sometimes, very rarely, will he let you sleep against his arm. See: Touch starved man who won’t admit it.
✿Blade, who picks you up by the scruff of your neck when you act up, he just kinda holds you there for a moment, before gently putting you back down. It oddly works very well.
✿Kafka, who likes to dress you up in pretty things, like ribbons and pearls. And then makes you sit while she admires her work, you let this happen because you enjoy the attention. See: Attention starved but doesn’t realise.
✿Kafka, who needs Blade’s help to wash you when they first get back to the ship, you are filthy (you have been living in a forest for gods knows how long). The issue is, you don’t exactly understand what soap is. It smells weird, and it makes foam in water, and it tastes really bad. These are all things you have learnt to associate with poison, it was a fun and very wet activity that took far too long.
✿Kafka, who slowly teaches you how to speak, at most you can string together short one to three word sentences. Your vocal cords are sore from lack of use, she offers you tea during each session.
✿Kafka, who treats you like a pet, giving you head pats and treats for good behaviour, if you were wiser maybe you’d be offended by this treatment, but you aren’t.
✿Silver Wolf, Who showed you a video game the moment you were left alone, she laughed in your face when the game spooked you.
✿Silver Wolf, who teaches you modern slang words and then makes you say them to Blade, if only to watch his confusion. She also goads you into saying “Bladie” rather than “Blade”. She also teaches you to swear.
✿Silver Wolf, who teaches you the basics of games, only for you to get confused and overwhelmed, she is now on a secret mission to find a game that you can play.
✿Silver Wolf, who gives you the most disgusting foods, not in a actually gross way but in an unhealthy way. She offered you gum once, it got stuck in your tail and Kafka spent a very patient hour getting it back out, you are now banned from having gum, ever.
✿Firefly, who enjoys your quiet company much like Blade, she tells you all her secrets and grievances.
✿Firefly, who spends time gently combing through your hair and fur, adding braids and giving you fun hairstyles. She also teaches you skincare.
✿Firefly, who lets you sit atop SAM like you would a tree, it’s quite amusing. SAM is also very hot, something your more animal-like side appreciates. She’s just glad you aren’t terrified of her.
✿Firefly, who naps with you on the couch in the common room, Silver Wolf will play games to create ambient noise, and Blade will eventually drape a blanket over you both.
✿Elio is very confused, but allows this to happen, it wasn’t in the script but what harm can you really do.

A Tale of Two Hannya: Art Imitates Life
Tumblr media
These are always kind of a trickier beast to write because by design the comparison casts a more negative light on a popular character. But they tend to be well received. Living near the path of peak totality for the big US eclipse, had me wanting to finish this one sitting in my drafts because well...we have both sun & moon themes as well as a dynamic of "upstaging" each other. Which is kinda cool. I really do think, when taken together, Kiku & Yamato give you one of the most interesting dynamics in this massive series despite the two faces almost never appearing together.
Let's step back a little though. Why? Why would our author structure so much of Luffy's story in Wano through the top two new faces for the arc? Almost splitting Luffy's story in half with mirror opposites; humble and helpful followed by flashy yet flawed. Pitting organic bonding against the spotlight. A very straightforward and earnest trans woman foiled by a deliberately inconsistent and ambiguous character falling somewhere you'd call transmasculine. Our Crane Wife and our Dragon's King's Daughter, forget the plot of One Piece for a moment...what's the reflection of our world they mirror?
Tumblr media
As gross as it is to compare oneself to Doflamingo, I promise I'm going somewhere with this. And, to be fair I can think of a few specific people who'd make that type of comparison about me. I like to think I use my powers for good, but anyone with them would say that. Touched on it a little with the Otohime side story but over the 2010s I had my little strings in just about every corner of LGBT activism throughout a region that's now a solid gay haven in a conservative state. For the first half of that decade, it was thrust upon me because people saw how solid a representative a young, cute, well-spoken lady would be at diffusing old stereotypes. An MA in Political Science helped too.
Because it's currently Ramadan still, I'd like to share one story I feel was a high watermark and how it rippled in a way that is gonna shape my outlook here. When I noticed there was a shift. One I felt trepidation about aspects of initially and today feel vindicated seeing how Gen Z views their elders. It was Ramadan a fair few years ago now, while part of a board for something I got to know a local Muslim leader and his wife. They were used to inviting other community leaders to join them for Iftar, the fast-breaking meal. They wanted to show their young progressive members they were listening and respectfully invite someone trans, remember these are often very sex-segregated places. Even if there were some livid hardliners most of the women really liked me and you could tell it meant a lot to some of the older teen girls who really wanted to square more progressive beliefs with their faith.
Late 2010s, so if I told you there was backlash in queer circles guess who. More or less entirely people who'd fit that college radfem to transmasc mold. "I'd have gone to the women's side in solidarity and liberated those oppressed women being soo radical." "Don't you think what Rhea did was you know, kinda problematic? If I have to explain to you how it's low-key cultural appropriation I don't even..." "They only picked her because she acts like a little Barbie doll." Yes, that last one is peak feminism. They can call me wicked if they want; at least I was called to serve while they were all just rabble-rousers who decided they were the only morally pure enough ones to be local leaders. That's what this was all about, politics.
If you ask me personally about the current state of trans movements? It kinda comes down to that. Most Milennials, trans women, men, & even nonbinary folk, tend to use the community as a temporary safe haven but acceptance has come far enough it tends to stay temporary. Gender is but one aspect of our identity, the hugbox and group chats about pronouns only really feel like they're giving you something for so long. The holdout? In my experience that tends to be trans men or transmasc enbies who took a half-step before coming out in the relative privilege of radical feminist spaces offering a little space within. I don't have a whole lot of animosity towards these guys...it just feels like sometimes it becomes all of our problem when that radfem space pumped you full of a distorted vision of "male privilege" and you feel jilted you didn't get that by waking up one day and saying you are now man.
Tumblr media
Was Eiichiro Oda going for all that? Fuck no. I was a longtime leader of a local movement, he's a cis author on the outside looking in. Better way these two make sense is more an author being aware enough (Japan had a similar trajectory over the last decade) these two serve well as standins for the extremes of what a teen today sees about this transgender community. Okama type caricatures just don't work anymore. Transmasc nearing 30 who feels like they don't even know what they want? Playing word games that feel like you never stopped and thought how they'd sound to other people? Chasing an idealized version of masculinity? It's not exactly an uncommon sentiment. It's a side-effect of finally getting that long sought visibility...scrutiny goes hand in hand.
It's a Tale of Two Hannya because it's weaving in the story of one community experiencing a Tale of Two Movements. Two movements that are at times diametrically opposed (foes). That's where the upstaging or "eclipse" aspect comes in. The way beats for one influence the other even without trying. Why Yamato's the one trying to find a place and Kiku's already dealing with average pressures of being a woman. Regardless of how you feel about that personally, you have to at least acknowledge this is the general impression teens today seem to have. Hypothetically, you could get the same effect between a more clear-cut trans man and someone kinda like Kamatari.
Ultimately, Wano is about who we are vs the roles we play. We see other places where themes of just saying you fill a role doesn't mean you are. I've said Yamato's a gentle critique of the extreme "you are what you say your are" side of trans movements. I understand why people would want to see things that way, but gender is a social phenomenon. For the record, I do think it low-key radiates dude energy to not care about shit like cannonballing tits out into the main bath, no one should have to act a certain way and all that. But it's a good pair for demonstrating where we're at in general. The emotions they evoke out of readers are a good reflection of where young men are kinda at on all this trans stuff. And both are still portrayed as cool, friendly people. But I do see where it's coming from when Oda shifts that classic immaturity element from Kiku more to Yamato.

Heyhey! For the Fanfic Froday I wanna ask, or more like issue a challenge!
Imagine your most hated/uninteresting character in DD1 - how would you write them if you had to include them in your story?
Also love your work! Your writing is really inspirational :3
hullo hullo Hannya o/
aww, thank you for such words! now I'm sitting here blushing <3
and you came up with quite a challenge! however, i have to say that i'd write my most hated and most uninteresting character very differently. because, well, they are different!
if i had to poke most uninteresting character, i'd probably simply used them as a tool. a cog in the plot machine. i don't have much to do with them? well, at least they can spare me the headache of inventing an OC just for this scene! i can utilize them to keep things "in canon" (since most people despise OCs still, and i get that, you aren't in a fic to read about someone's blorbo most of the time... i ran into that a lot with my vestals - because if you paid attention, most missions involving Dis where Rey had to say had a vestal... wonder why hehe... and well, Junia was out of commission, so I had to invent new ones; and i'm rambling), but also don't think too much about who to use in some unimportant scene. just slap that uninteresting bad boy/girl and be done with it
now most hated is a completely different beast. honestly, with how much blood i pour into my writing, the hated characters are usually follow one of two paths. they can:
a) don't get mentioned at all; why spend effort on some sucker you genuinely despise and give them even passing mention in a thing you hold so close to your heart? this kinda contradicts the challenge tho
b) be used as a plot device to do some shit so they can get the full unlubed dildo of karmic retribution caught live in 4k :D call me a hater but this one is hella catharthic!
on a very, very rare occasions, usually when someone i respect or am friends with, like the character i dislike, i go on a third, forbidden rocky path: i try to construct a narrative where i would be forced to interact with the character in a constructive way and face my biases against them. sometimes it makes you do a 180 on a character and hold them gently afterwards... but like i mentioned, those are rare and they require quite a lot of effort poured in

HI IT'S SKRUNKS im here for the fic ask game >:]
B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?
H: How would you describe your style?
G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
K: What's the angstiest idea you've ever come up with?
M: Got any premises on the back burner that you'd care to share?
T: Any fandom tropes you can't stand?
(if this is too many to answer feel free to like. pick three or something <3)
WAAAHHH SKRUNKSSSS!!!! >:D i will do my best!!!
B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?
i guess... hmmm... like, a lot of my character elements and dialogue pieces come from personal experience, but not necessarily full plots? i think to be alive (majima in hospital after being freed from the hole) is my most direct "personal experience" kind of fic... most of that was true to my own experience nearly dying, up to and including the fucking awful blood pressure experience, and the shattered faces arguing.
another one that comes from personal experience in a way is i'm sorry i'm sorry (kiryu's nightmare in hospital) because that was literally a nightmare i had in hospital and i've been carrying it with me for a year lmao. it still gets under my skin sometimes but i wrote a followup, the sweetest company, so i try and think about that instead LOL
H: How would you describe your style?
UHHHH... i dunno?? a lot of times i don't really feel like i have a "style" i just feel like i'm stumbling around in the dark. i know that's not really true though? it's just, i have the inside view of how tangled up my brain is so i see all of the things that i don't like, that don't match up, or that feel inadequate.
G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?
that definitely depends... i mean i've done both, especially in multichaps, but i've found that doing things out of order sometimes ends up weaker for me. something about the jumping around makes inconsistencies in my head lol
K: What's the angstiest idea you've ever come up with?
hmm. i guess that depends on the kind of angst...
yearning angst maybe? anything with goromi, or especially the hannya, set while kiryu is in okinawa and majima's still in tokyo. i dunno if you've seen much of my ramblings about the hannya but she's like, the cross between goromi and hannya man, since i think majima's faces are funky like that - there's an ebb and flow and sometimes they take shape together. i have a post here for visual reference with a lovely fanart!! i am still dying over this!!
the essence of the hannya is that she's silent, desperate for love, and possessive - pretty much, kiryu is the only thing she cares and thinks about. so if he isn't there to hold onto her, to remind her that he loves her, well... pain and despair. (see: starlit love)
M: Got any premises on the back burner that you'd care to share?
fuuuuck lol.
ryuji kicking around somewhere - i would love to do this, i really would. but i can't figure out how to write him, or even what he should be doing. i take a slight dead souls approach to him where he's alive as an amputee, though he does not get a gun prosthesis. actually, he doesn't like having a prosthetic arm at all, entirely refusing it.
maid cafe kazumi - this was my original idea long before i went maid cafe goromi! but i do think she's too shy to put on that kind of act, even in private. it's funny because kiryu has no problems with doing it himself, but the idea of acting along - or leading the act - as kazumi just. completely flusters her.
anything with tanimura - i want to write him. i don't know how to write him. i like him. i like him a lot more than i expected. he's also a stealth trans man. that's an experience i'm not quite sure how to write, i guess.
DATE X EARTH ANGEL MAMA - i need it so bad. this was born entirely of a scrambled-brain misconception and it'd be so silly but like... what if... what if i made it cute?
puppyplay kazumaji - specifically, pup majima. i really like it but i just can't get it to work when i try writing it... dog day by faggotrevolution1917 is like, what i WISH i could write, "and then they boned" is what i FEEL like i write LOL.
club four shine meeting kazumi - this one feels out of reach for me because i just don't have yakuza kiwami 2 and my bf never really touched club four shine, lol. i think yuki caught onto hints of goromi way back when, even though she never saw goromi herself, so when kazumi rolls around she's like ":) FINALLY a guy who can admit herself"
nishiki and majima NOT bonding - i feel strongly about this, that they wouldn't get along no matter how hard kiryu might try, but also... like, i view nishiki as a character sympathetically, i understand him, but any time i try and write him i just feel THE WORST because i knew someone that reminds me too much of him and they still make my fucking blood boil because of how they treated me after having been my best friend for years. it's VERY PERSONAL. so like. i don't want to write nishiki horribly out of character - it's one thing if you write a character OOC but positively, because fans of that character can often at least try to nod along. but OOC negatively? people are a lot more upset by that.
drag king haruka - that says it all basically!!
this isn't even a premise it's just a vague "i wish" but i think nair is really really cool and she deserves at least ONE fic featuring her
T: Any fandom tropes you can't stand?
hmmmm... i guess, like:
goromi being hyper-violent - more on that here but basically i don't think she's actually that interested in fighting for fun outside of kiryu. she can and will fight if threatened, but the enjoyment comes from kiryu specifically.
kiryu or majima randomly degrading the other during sex - like if there isn't explicit mention of humiliation/degradation kinks, or any kind of negotiation, even if it's just vaguely referenced... it just does not do it for me. i don't like kiryu randomly saying "you fucking bitch." he would not do that :(
hannya man being easily "shed" - i think the whole point of hannya man is to scare people, by majima pulling all the strings and being mysterious while doing it. so i don't think he'd just pull off the mask and cackle when he's "done with it", you know? he'll slink into the shadows like nothing happened, and some time later, majima will reappear, feigning innocence.
AH i'm sure i've missed some things for any of these questions lol but hopefully not too much?? i hope this was fun/cool/enlightening to read hehehe

Here's some ideas for a GW:T x reader fic if anyone's interested in writing it!
It would have Isekai elements, as the reader(male/female/gn) would be from our world!
Reader is a big fan of GW:T!
In fact, they're such a big fan that they decided to travel all the way to Japan to see Shibuya for themselves!
Whether or not they speak fluent japanese is up to you.
On the very last day of their trip, they decided to take one last walk around Shibuya before leaving Japan and heading back to their home country.
This is where an accident happens and leads our reader finding themselves in a very different, but also at the same time, very familar foggy Shibuya.
Reader ends up darting into a nearby store, one they knew was being run by a Nekomata, and hides out from the chaos outside.
They can't fight! They have no weapons or even magical powers like KK's etheral weaving to help them!
So they stick to hiding out in the shop with the Nekomata, acting as an assident for the floating feline.
Should the reader not speak good japanese, the Nekomata that took them in lends them a trinket that could help them speak and understand japanese easily.
Eventually they do meet Akito/KK, both of which were shocked to see another living human in Shibuya.
Of course this leads our favorite duo to being suspicious of the reader at first, as there had to be something off about this foreigner!
But after a few more run ins with the reader, all of which involved the reader mother henning Akito into the back of the store to dry him off and made sure he ate something while they checked his wounds, both Akito and KK become rather fond of this oddball foreigner.
However, eventually this fondness somehow catches the attention of Hannya, who finally notices the little oddity that was the reader.
Reader is then snatched up, and before their Nekomata boss or even Akito/KK could save them, is taken straight to Hannya himself!
Hannya, being his creepy self, finds the reader to be utterly fascinating.
Akito/KK rescues their dear reader and spirits them away to safety.
They end up staying with Akito/KK, acting as a supporter for them.
Their Nekomata boss gives them all sorts of talismans and other magical objects to help keep themselves safe.
The floating feline was very fond of the reader. It was probably because of the human's god tier petting skills~
When the fight with KK's possessed body happens, they stop both Akito and KK from exorcising KK's now soulless body.
They convince Akito and KK to use a katashiro to place KK's soul back into his original body.
It works, and now with KK finally back in action with his own body, reader, along with Akito and KK were ready to kick Hannya's creepy ass!
But reader notices something odd.
Akito and KK were acting... different from how they acted in the game.
Yeah, KK has his own body now, so of course things were bound to be different, but this was too much!
Akito and KK, who were their favorite characters in all of GW:T, was flirting with them!

Writing thing!!!!
Saw @nullshocked’s post. If anyone else wants to do it, they can!
This piece is called Crystalline Decay, it’s for an original story I’m working on called Age of Heroes. It is… very rough around the edges tbh, but here we gooooo.
They had been speaking privately for days, some unknown number claiming that the Color Gang was going to shut down operations. At first, Hannya didn’t believe it, that is unheard of. For what purpose would the largest criminal organization in the world have to shut down? They haven’t experienced any trouble recently and it’s not like the Grey One is one to run (as much as Hannya despises him, she will give him that small amount credit). However, the slowing down of activity was not unnoticed, the rumor was apparently true. The unbelievable happened.
Now, here she waits in the empty lobby of the Epitome Hotel & Spa to meet her contact in person. The Epitome is the kind of hotel that people with too much money make a point to stay at with shiny black floors one can see their reflection in, art deco architecture throughout practically dripping with shiny gold paint. Everything is perfectly polished, not one speck of dust or shred of evidence that people actually spend time in this lobby. Not that they would need to spend time in the lobby when the rooms are just as pristine, polished, and too perfect to be touched by human hands. Hannya elected to lean against the wall as the couch and chairs are far too covered in decorative pillows to actually allow someone to sit comfortably. The concierge gives her a nervous glance every so often, he’s a foreigner, so he must be in with the shadow organizer of this whole thing.
“You must be Hannya,” a feminine voice calls out from behind her, she has a very thick Italian accent. Hannya raises her head to see a short, curvy Italian woman in her fifties. She has long, wavy red hair and a black and gold bejeweled dress, her heels click on the shiny black floor as she approaches. Whoever she is is beautiful and she knew it, sometimes that’s a dangerous combination.
“The mask certainly serves its purpose as a name tag,” Hannya responds, gesturing up to the pale demon mask that obscures her face, “And you are?”
“Viola Cassamento,” she states calmly, offering a silk gloved hand towards Hannya. Hannya eyes Viola’s hand suspiciously for the briefest of moments before extending her own gloved hand to shake. Just once.
Viola smiles, “Now that introductions out of the way, it would seem the situation has turned to your favor. I’m sure you have noticed the lack of activity within the Color Gang and my own people have done some light testing. The only problems we really get in terms of repercussion for moving in on their turf is your vigilante. Maybe one could be a problem in one area, but many people moving all at once in different places? I doubt even the teams of vigilantes could muster up the man power to stop us and well, with someone like you who has studied the Color Gang and knows where to hit? I daresay the Underworld would be ours.”
Hannya clasps her hands together, the leather of her gloves creaking as Viola speaks. She was right of course and the lack of activity would expedite her revenge. There would be nothing to stand in her way. “I shall test this theory, I suppose the others have also been contacted tonight?”
“Yes, they plan on making their own moves as well. I know you requested I meet you in person, so here I am. I would act sooner rather than later, though, who knows when they will be back,” Viola adds calmly, “but something tells me you have a plan ready, it just needs your go ahead.”
“You would be correct,” Hannya answers as she turns on her heel to walk out the door.
Viola calls a “Good luck” to Hannya, but her mind is already razor keen for vengeance. If everything went smoothly, she could have the whole operation in a single night. Hannya pulls out her communicator and brings it to her mouth the moment she is out the door.
“Operation Nurarihyon is go, you know your places,” she says, her urgency edging into her voice.

I'm curious How awear of the outside world is Yamato? Like regular access to newspapers? Knowing what devil fruits are (don't most wano citizens think it magic?) Haki especially since he has conquerors. Plus the stories from the journal but that's 20 years outdated now. I think oda listed his birthplace as unknown too, so might be outside of wano just got there very young.
Tumblr media
This is a long post. Headcanon based.
It depends on what age I'm writing him at. For the usual canon age 28 year old dogboy we know and love, his knowledge is still rather limited. In my writing, I often have him call it 'magic', but he knows they aren't just 'magic' and it's just a habit from him growing up in the culture of Wano. He knows Haki and Ryuo are one and the same, but he prefers the term Ryuo since that's the common Wano understanding of it and likely how Oden would have described it in his journal if he ever did bring it up.
As for the outside world, he doesn't know much of the big happenings most of the time. He gets what news he can from the other beasts, but even then many newspapers don't make it far to Wano unless specifically brought in from returning members from an outside island. He'd likely try to get much of his info from Apoo considering he is the informant (rapping with him a good way to butter him up to it? Also Yamato just enjoys rapping with him of course.) The biggest thing he absolutely knew was the Paramount War, especially considering Kaido and King were going to ATTACK Marineford but were stopped by Shanks. I headcanon that the broadcasts of Marineford were watched on Onigashima too, especially since I'm sure many of the beasts were expecting Kaido to turn up. Yamato watched with much regret and helplessness and still feels the guilt of being unable to be there for another friend he once had. He was also sad he would never meet Whitebeard.
He knows some about the other Yonko crews (he knows about the Whitebeard Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates the most because of Oden's journal and King often explaining why the Big Mom Pirates are irritating), but he only knows the crew members of the WBs that Oden described in his journal.
He didn't really care to follow the Worst Gen crews, but he is aware of the captains. He mainly followed the Straw Hats, considering his interest in Luffy gained from Ace and watching the Paramount War. He was able to identify Franky when he first saw him, after all, so he's definitely seen their wanted posters (I think he got them from Apoo, so it was only relatively recently he got to see who the rest of Luffy's crew were.) He doesn't know Jimbei joined them, but he does know who Jimbei is on a surface-level understanding.
He has limited understanding of the World Government and Celestial Dragons. He doesn't really know what a Celestial Dragon is or why they're important. Only that WG = Bad according to King. He doesn't particularly like the WG based on what happened with Ace and all, and knows they would likely target him in the same way because of his relation to Kaido.

Majima x Unnamed Female Character
Summary: Majima and his girlfriend are watching a movie on the floor in their living room. When he reaches out to hold her, she is overcome with a feeling she can’t name.
Contains: fluff, a bit of angst (maybe), hinted depression, Majima being the secret softie he is
A/N: My first time writing a fic for Majima. Hope you guys like it! Wrote this with a specific person in mind (one of my OCs lmao) but left it purposefully extremely vague who the woman was so anyone reading this can imagine whatever they want. Comment below if you figure out what movie they’re watching!! It is indeed a real movie and I made sure to hint at it pretty hard lol, it’s one of my own personal favorites I think Majima actually would like. Also think it’s worth noting I wrote this entire thing while listening to 1984 by Junko Yagami on loop lmao. Was inspired by an edit on Instagram using this song. (edit was by eyeglassez on there)
She nearly had drifted off to sleep when it happened. The comfortable weight of him on top of her, his heat warming her, the feeling of his hannya patterned ink under her sleep heavy hand, even the low, humming voices on the TV illuminating the dark room, all threatened to carry her away to a land of peaceful dreams.
As she lay on the bedroll in the living room, the soft cotton sheets cradling her like an infant, her left hand rest on Majima’s shoulder blade, the other next to her face. His right hand rest under her head, beneath the plush pillow she placed it on. His other rest dangerously close to her right, fingers mere millimeters apart.
This wasn’t an uncommon position for the two to be in. She enjoyed his warmth, the cold of this world being soothed by his soft body heat. He reveled in the feeling of a body pressed to his, often coming up with the excuse, ‘fat tits like yers are better ‘n any pillow out there.’
She couldn’t even remember what was happening in the film Majima had insisted they watch together. It was a Hong Kong made film, one of those kung fu type movies Majima couldn’t seem to get enough of. Her eyelids get heavy as she tries to stay lucid enough to listen, knowing Majima would want to talk about it later, probably referencing lines from the movie for weeks to come.
Straining them open, she sees a little girl on the screen, getting harassed by a group of boys just a few years older than her. They tug at the rainbow lollipop in her hand, attempting to rip it from her small hands. Suddenly, another boy, much too small to fight even one of the bullies, comes running in her defense, leaving the group to abandon the girl and fight the young hero instead.
The screen then flashes to the same couple, grown adults now, yet the same hero and the same girl who never go to thank her savior. From a small box, the girl produces the swirly confectionary, handing it to the now adult man who had rescued her all those years ago.
She wasn’t sure what was going to happen next after that. Her drowsiness clouded her mind too much to even think about the intimacy of such a scene on the television.
Perhaps Majima had felt touched by the story that unfolded before him, or perhaps he just wanted more to feel. Gently, his fingers stretch to hers, lacing their hands together next to her head. His usually gloved thumb, now lying naked in an embrace with another hand, gracefully rubbed the back of her palm.
It was so soft, so feather light, she might not have noticed it had she been anyone else. Yet, she was her, and in an instant, all sleep that threatened to take her over was gone, full lucidity coming back to her as she nearly gasped.
She stayed as still as a statue, hoping Majima wouldn’t notice the change in her breathing. Luckily he didn’t, his eye stayed glued to the screen, mindlessly holding onto her as he continued his action.
Heart beating in her chest, she didn’t know how to react. He was being so… gentle. What did she do to be deserving of any of this kindness?
Her eyes dilate, losing focus of the television and staring at nothing in particular. She feels her mind wander, the feeling of his warm skin on hers flooding her thoughts, the voices on the screen just in front of her being replaced with his.
***
The night air breezed past them as they walked. It whipped through his bowl cut, blowing delicate strands into his one good eye, shielding it from her view.
She could watch him forever. He was like a piece of fine art to her; all rigid and strong with the softest curves on his face. The neon lights seemed to illuminate his skin, making it shine with a heavenly glow from within. The snakeskin leather on his shoulder glittered in the night, each scale gleaming in turn.
When he noticed her eyes boring holes into him, he turned his head with a smirk, “Ya keep staring like that, I got somethin’ on my face?”
His eye twinkled as he joked, the brown of it turning to blue, then green, then purple as the street passed him by, its light forming a colorful kaleidoscope on his features.
She was completely starstruck, the ability to form words long gone from her, her entire brain focused on taking him in. Her lips parted, trying to muster a response to his question, only awed breaths falling from them.
As he smiled back, chuckling at her silence, she felt the heat rise to her cheeks, warming her face in the cold. The blush on her skin made his heart swell, though she would never know that. His smile falls for a second, his typically harsh features softening as they walk side by side, eyes never leaving one another.
Not looking where she was going, her foot catches on something sticking up from the ground. She wasn’t sure what it could have been; perhaps it was an uneven paving stone, a discarded paper coffee cup, or even just her own clumsiness. Though, whatever it was, it had her falling to the ground fast.
Long before she could recognize what was happening to her, a warm, leather gloved hand was gripping her forearm, halting her descent to the concrete beneath her feet.
If she had been starstruck before, her head was spinning now, every nerve in her body feeling fuzzy in the proximity of the man looking down at her. At this angle, he looked ethereal, the moon above glowing on the back of his head like a halo. For just a moment, she felt he might sprout wings and fly her up to heaven.
Swallowing, she feels him pull her up, standing her flush against him. The open hem of her jacket tickled his chest, sending a fluttering inside him. They were so close, almost close enough to feel his heart beat against hers.
He scoffed cockily, his breath creating a misty cloud around him. When the fog cleared, he spoke, “Better watch where yer goin’, missy. Can’t have ya getting hurt on me, now can I?”
The tenderness in his tone said more than his words had. What he meant to say was, ‘Please be careful, I want you safe,’ but the meaning got lost in translation from heartbeat to Japanese.
Yet, she felt herself nodding, understanding perfectly what his original intention had been.
***
His stirring on her chest brought her to the present. Hopefully he wasn’t getting up, she needed him there, weighing her down, keeping her grounded while her thoughts were anywhere but this Earth.
Fortunately, Majima only sighs, his torso rising then falling under her still hand. He shifts slightly, his long legs moving against hers as he finds a new position atop her to lay. His head even shifts, hair rubbing against her chest, and nose gracing her night shirt.
Staying still became harder and harder the more Majima moved. Every muscle in her body wanted to both tense and melt at the same time. Her heart beat so loudly against her chest, she could hear it in her ears.
Looking down to the hand inside his, she bites her lip, trying to keep the quivering of it to a minimum. His grip on it tightens ever so slightly, and she is sure he knows she was staring at him. However, when she looks back to the screen, she sees fists flying and tensions rising, a sign that his grasp was only due to the suspense on screen.
At this she relaxes, feeling safe from his teasing for even just a moment. The last thing she wanted was for him to notice her nerves and have this moment end.
Rotating her head gently, she looks up. The darkness of the ceiling seemed to reflect on her, reminding her that that was life before Majima; dark, bleak, flat, and devoid of all color and warmth.
***
On days like these, she wanted nothing more than to just crawl up into a ball and fade away, her own existence crushing her like the heaviest burden there could be. It felt even hard to breathe, her lungs squeezing with sorrow.
Yet, she trugged the streets, walking to the place she had promised to meet him. He wasn’t one for planning things but today was an exception he had said. Nishida told her he was feeling ‘uncharacteristically structured.’ So despite her aching being, she marched to meet him.
He sat in the cafe, idly scrolling through his phone when she arrived. Meekly, she walked up to his table, feeling like being around him might be enough to soothe her soul.
It wasn’t until she sat down that he looked up. All it took was that one glance from his right eye to bring light to her vision. Like stepping out of a tunnel, he showered her in sunlight.
His lips turned up into a smile when he noticed her presence in front of him. He winked, shoving his phone into his pocket absentmindedly, right now, his only focus was on her. “Hey, darlin’,” he flirted, “it took ya long enough. Thought I might have t’ go lookin’ fer ya.”
She mustered the strongest grin she could, forcing all her energy into imitating him, hiding whatever pain lingered just beneath the surface. Her own face felt so heavy though, and even just that simple action hurt, exhausting her to the bone.
Even the most subtle change on her face was noticed by Majima. A lot of the time, she felt he could read her mind, see her soul. He always seemed to know what she was feeling, even when she didn’t know it herself.
Her whole life, people only ever bothered to take her at face value, none dared to look beyond her mask; until him. He seemed to be the only person who could feel her, see her, and hear her the way she so desperately wanted to be felt, seen, and heard.
Catching the pained expression she held, his smile fell, being replaced with one of almost shocking concern. “Wait, what’s wrong with ya? Ya look like half dead, sweetheart.” His brows furrowed as he studied her, eyes pushing back the veil to take a closer look.
She only shakes her head, looking down in embarrassment. She never wanted to make him worry, to take away that smile she loved seeing. The guilt of his emotion pressed on her.
He sighs, smacking the table with both gloved hands. “Well I can’t have ya sittin’ around all mopey like this,” he teases, sing song in his voice being exaggerated more than usual, like hands trying to lift her up.
“Let’s get outta here,” he gestures with a thumb over his back. He takes a look around, scrunching up his face, “This place is a dump anyway.”
He stands, looking down to her with soft eyes and a half smile. The sympathy in his features nearly broke her. He was so tender in the way he looked at her, trying to tell her ‘You’ll be okay, I’m right here,’ without speaking.
A black hand extends to her, fingers spread wide open, awaiting her to place her own inside it. Shaking with anticipation and anxiety, she gives the hand what it wants. Gently, his glove closes around her skin, leading her to follow him into the street.
Alone on the sidewalk and away from prying eyes and eavesdropping ears, his voice lowers, losing all semblance of its usual insincerity, “How about I treat you to some takoyaki? You like yours with extra sauce, don’t you?”
***
The loud music of the film’s end credits snap her from her thoughts. Glancing back to the television, she watches the white letters roll up on a black screen. The names of the actors and production team stare back at her, reminding her she hadn’t been paying attention.
As the music fades, and the credits finish out, the screen goes black, casting the room in a peaceful darkness. Only peaceful because he was here with her, shielding her from its harsh cold and uncertainty.
She feels him chuckle on her chest, muttering more to himself than her, “Shit, that was pretty damn good. Can’t believe that punk was some natural born kung fu master, never saw that one coming.”
With a sigh, he goes to unwrap his hand from hers and grab the remote to turn the TV off. He removes his arm from under her pillow to push off her and get up. Feeling his grasp on her hand loosen, she instinctively tightens her own, her other hand pushing his shoulder back down onto her chest.
Majima huffs, falling back onto her. Craning his head to try and look at her, he grumbles, “Jeez, lady, what’re you doin’?”
Her grip on him only tightens more, fingers digging into him, scared he might leave her grasp and disappear into the night. Not able to contain herself anymore, her muscles tense under him.
Her skin felt like it was on fire, every sensation of him on her burning hot with a feeling she couldn’t describe. Feeling her heart swelling to almost burst, she breathes deep, a stinging in her eyes becoming more and more prevalent.
She wasn’t sure what was happening to her, why all of the sudden she felt like a dam had broken inside her, emotion gushing through the cracks and drowning her on dry land.
Yet, of course he could tell. He always did. Squeezing her hand in his, he mutters to her, voice barely above a whisper. “You okay?” he asks tenderly, “I know it kinda got sappy there fer a minute but that ain’t no reason t’ cry.” Repeating his action from earlier, his thumb ghosts across her knuckles.
It could have been his physical touch or the way his words touched her soul but either way, that was the last crack in the dam. A sob erupted from her throat- hot, almost steamy tears cascading down her cheeks and onto the pillow.
She only grips him tighter, near to drawing blood with her nails on his back. Her head finds itself leaning against his silky black hair, cheek pressing firmly onto his skull. Nose buried in his dark locks, she chokes, tears still flowing like a waterfall, “I love you, Goro…”
The words fell from her lips like a prayer. Like it was the only important thing she would ever say. It felt like a confession, though the time for all that had long gone by.
In her moment of frail weakness, Majima is finally able to push off her, just enough to look her in the eye. Her vision of him was not as clear as usual, the water blurring him and barring her from seeking refuge in his eye. Had she not been crying, she would have seen the change in his face. It faded slowly from concern to ardor, plush lips pressing together.
Lifting his hand, he reaches it to touch her cheek, hot and wet from her overflow. Wiping some of the tears off her, he whispers, “I love you too, babe. More than ya know…”
Leaning in and capturing her lips on his, he seals his promise.

I uh kinda went wild on this here for some reason sorry, I didn’t know you could put this much in asks? Yakuza 1 has a pretty short plot and changing some of this stuff mostly just jumps plot forward and skips more menial tasks of trying to find info when these people can actually talk, so super drastic changes are more likely to happen down the line game wise really.
Y1 role swaps for Kiryu & Nishiki and Majima & Saejima I think are largely reliant on whether each side swaps yakuza backstories I feel, do we get a one eyed Mad Dragon of Dojima(Shimano?) who’s been to the hole, and vise versa maybe Shimano’s(Dojima’s?) Hannya who helped a certain real estate agent in the 80s? Did Nishiki do the hit and Saejima kill their boss (whomever) who grabbed Yasuko? And Majima takes the fall like Kiryu did so Saejima could try to help his sister?
Bc then I see most of the game starting out similarly (less aggressive Saejima family tho, doesn’t loose it as much as Nishiki bc he isn’t swayed that easily by people, but he’s still putting up an aggressive front in hopes it makes others leave his family alone while he tries to find his sister), maybe more helpful Kiryu in majima’s role, bc he’s always a sweetie under the surface no matter what he’s been through- even with a few screws loose and much more tired, Yasuko (Yumi/Mizuki) with Haruka existing probably (no romance with either of the boys here), if we swap Shimano and Kazama then I see Shimano playing a more assholish take on the parental Kazama role, if it’s still Kazama I can see things being very different bc he probably likes saejima better and sees majima as a more reckless and less competent (aka kiryu favoritism over Nishiki scenario) so likely he’s working with Saejima but unsure he can truely leave the clan to him bc he hasn’t revealed what happened to Yasuko and by this point the damage control might be too much of an issue to properly account for, Saejima figures Mizuki is just some third party lady that Kazama got to help with the plan bc connections. But Majima still has use in another avenues to keep people’s attention off Saejima’s parts in the plan and Shimano’s efforts to power grab, but before that conversation kicks in Kazama’s shot by probably a shimano or omi guy and then majima plays Kiryu’s part finding Haruka and trying to figure out what’s up with Saejima and where Yasuko went. Then Saejima spills the beans on his part of the plan (after a fight between the two in Serena bc of course they fight) and then stuff jumps to trying to find Kazama, delivered via Nishida playing Shinji’s parts, and that plays out similarly to original except saejima and majima both show up with Haruka to the dock and saejima gets pissed at not being told what had happened to his sister till now. (Yasuko also either is mostly unaware her brother’s looking for her, or thinks Saejima knows about her already and just hasn’t done anything about it, either way she’s not happy on how that was handled when brought into the loop bc things would have been different if they’d just told her he wasn’t trying to keep his distance and was actively looking for her) But since Shimano attacks and Kazama gets to die in their arms the two don’t really get to address any of that because Kazama just gave them bigger bombshells to deal with, Saejima’s the chairman nomination here. If shimano and Kazama are switched here then he’s unapologetic as fuck as he dies (probably not by actively protecting Haruka but just happened to be blocking her anyway, she’s an asset after all to his plans) and it’s majima for next chairman bc he was gonna manipulate him probably if he hadn’t died. Then on to the ending, jingu shoots saejima to get him out of the fight and he has to retreat with Yasuko and Haruka, much to his displeasure, and majima does the tower fights with jingu, everything’s fine until jingu comes back down during their reunion stuff and maybe mortally wounds Yasuko or maybe Saejima, but regardless he gets blown up and all three of them try to do something stupid with the bomb so it cancels each other out perhaps? And maybe they all get to live because no one lets the others sacrifice themselves bc they each wanted to do it. Neither bro wants the chairmanship regardless of nomination and dump it on Terada to dip and live as a family instead. Leaving more people alive at the end of the day (unless you really want to kill off saejima and Yasuko) and the rest of the games mostly set up the same but Haruka gets two uncles and her mom.
Date is probably there throughout the story but his role doesn’t change so I didn’t mention him, he’s just helping where he can and trying to get to the bottom of everything. Similarly Kiryu’s doing basically the same thing Majima originally did but was nicer to Haruka and didn’t even pretend he wanted to kidnap her in that situation and just says sometimes you can’t avoid orders and maybe does a half hearted fight for appearances, he’d tell Majima more of what’s going on with his boss but the knife thing still happens and he’s out for the rest of the game. Shangri la is unaffected bc nishida isn’t hiding from Saejima and can tell them where Kazama/Shimano is straight out (he was still a measure to keep an eye on Saejima but his role was mostly unneeded bc Saejima wasn’t trigger happy like Nishiki). Haruka gets nicked by the snake flower triad all the same bc the dude’s unaffected by the yakuza switches. The florist might come into play to find Haruka in that situation only basically. You basically get Saejima accompanying Majima through the plot post their bar brawl aside from a few times he has to slip away to take care of other yakuza business briefly so majima and Haruka gets to wander around and bond (and get kidnapped twice). Stardust gets its opening plot beats only really, as its unneeded after. Yasuko is much more active as Mizuki than Yumi was but I’m not sure what that actually means in terms of the plot. Nishida takes over for Saejima’s family post game here keeping them in line and preventing them from becoming the mess Nishiki’s becomes in the games, though there will be issues in the future for the family bc of certain members regardless. Reina is still running her bar and with a crush on Saejima or Majima? and friend to Yasuko. She gets to be supporting cast and doesn’t die bc there’s no reason for her to. Tho I guess you might be able to switch her and mirei park if you wanted as well in the long run. Or maybe not if you want to swap Kaoru and Mirei considering Majima/Kiryu swap, I guess it depends on the swaps. As a Nishiki/Majima swap would make Reina/Mirei swap work better.
I think I have an alt take too for if it’s based around majima being the one taking Nishiki’s place rather than Saejima, that one Majima does something similar to y4 and pretends longer in order to try and bait Saejima into killing him for the perceived betrayal of loosing track of Yasuko and everything, maybe even going as far as dying in the explosion bc his guilt, leaving Saejima and Haruka the only ones alive as Yasuko was shot by Jingu. Nishiki or Kiryu in Majima’s role wouldn’t change much plot wise but lead to different dynamics between Saejima and them especially going forward, Nishiki’s much less a punchy fight at every moment man and more shooty as the Mad Koi tho so he’d definitely be a different fight
I think too hard on these things.
anon, I mean this very, very seriously: please write a story

Is there a fact/detail about your muse that you think would surprise people if you told them about it?
A few little facts that people are often shocked by when they get to know Hiyori:
She’s a really, really good cook. She learned how to cook well from Kirio Hikifune and loves to emulate her energizing and flavourful recipes. She stopped cooking when her mother-figure left, but does cook occasionally. More often after her bifurcation.
She likes cute things. Girly clips, cute motifs on clothing, hairpins, adorable plushies! Her and Mashiro would waste sooooo much money on those stupid claw machines for a plushie. And then Hiyori would have to obviously push her skinny arm into a machine to grab one for her. Obviously.
Whenever she gets drunk, she sings love songs terribly. Then asks someone to marry her and tuck her into bed.
Hiyori is popular with older people- maybe because she looks very cute and adorable and lively??? But yeah, Ginrei Kuchiki always liked Hiyori. He thought she was lively and was always asking Kirio to bring her ‘little lieutenant around’.
Hiyori loves teaching but sucks at it? She loves instructing people, watching them grow and learn and then getting angry and bossy about them not picking up anything because she doesn’t explain fully what she wants.
She has worked in a maid cafe. Hiyori was very unpopular and fired because she could not smile at the customers. Also called most of them bald.
She cried in her room by herself for months after the others left for soul society. She was too angry with them to talk to them on the phone, but couldn’t stop missing them.
During her bifurcation, her inner hollow / Hannya actually helped her live. Because without her host alive, she was dead too.
She learned to read and write with the help of Shinji in the academy and a few of her friends. When she passed her exams and became a shinigami, her entire salary was spent on treating him to an all-you-can eat meal.

How about some of your favorite KZMJ headcanons? :Dc Or favorite tropes you like writing the most?
OOH MAN the hard questions!! ty!!! >:3
i love focussing on goromi and kazumi bc of those genderqueer feelings. i went on that rant the other day PFFT but it can be really hard to find characters that have a mixed/gnc presentation that aren't just treated as a joke, which. don't get me wrong, that is how goromi's introduction is treated, yet she's also given the hostess routine with a genuine conversation, which is. more than most i've seen lmao.
i think it's hard to come across online bc you don't see any of my physical mannerisms or my inner thoughts in their purest form, but my masculinity and being a man are extremely important to me - as well as my femininity, my being gnc, the days where i like settling down as a "cute girl" while never being solely that. soooo i love putting a focus on gender, presentation, the rules and what it means to break them. i will infect everyone in this series with gender if i have to (<- joke lmao)
i also love like… the interplay of majima and kiryu not necessarily taking care of themselves all the time, but absolutely putting it in for the other, and the kinds of tension that can bring when going too far to help. i do think i write kiryu in crisis more than majima - that's less trope preference though and more seeing myself in his problems a bit clearer than majima's, giving me more perspective to write from, and some of kiryu's troubles (or like, hypothetical troubles lmao) being lesser explored in my eyes
uhh hmm specific headcanons.
kiryu and majima both know JSL, but ironically it's majima who knows less - between them majima is the one with hearing problems, being another one of his complications from the hole, and another that he tries to hide. meanwhile, kiryu's generation in sunflower included a deaf kid, so it was ensured the caretakers and other kids would know at least the basics. nishiki and kiryu in particular took to becoming conversational, using it between themselves if they needed to keep things quiet, quickly flash each other a code, the works. so kiryu and majima use JSL together, not as much as speech, but it can help with keeping things quiet, or alternatively, when one of their brains is on the fritz lmao. both of them have times where they lose their speech, usually from stress, so it's nice to have signs to fall back on. (however, they can't use JSL to keep secrets from haruka, as she's learning it too!)
kiryu has kleptomania (impulse control disorder; the urge to steal is disconnected from one's thoughts on the morality of stealing, and even liking stealing at all), majima knows this, so sometimes he leaves around trinkets/straight up gifts to give him the thrill of stealing without the consequence. if he needs something back he knows he can just ask and kiryu will return it, and he trusts kiryu not to lie and say he didn't steal something when he really did.
if kiryu had to pick one favourite physical trait of majima's, it would be his face. but okay, let's say he's not allowed to do that and he has to pick any other part of majima's body? he'd say majima's back. he loves his irezumi and what it represents, not only for its intended symbolism, but also the numerous scars both physical and mental that his irezumi try to hide. he would spend hours focussing on the hannya if he could, comforting her to comfort majima in the process his next favourite trait? majima's hands. no further comment.
if majima had to pick one favourite physical trait of kiryu's, it would be his tits. this would, in fact, be a little bit of a lie. he likes the comfort of hearing kiryu's heartbeat - sometimes he has trouble feeling like he's still alive (hence my take on the zombie majima persona; it's not always a fun act) so getting to hear kiryu's life helps. but that's more embarrassing to say than just saying tits, and i mean, they are a good set of tits regardless hehehe his next favourite would be kiryu's arms. he loves that strength and, on a sappier note, those hugs.
okay i am now thoroughly brainfarting on any more to say at the moment WHOOPS 💖

Hey guys, so Snowed Inn is gonna be done soon and then I have to think about what I’m gonna do next! Think I'm gonna take a break from KazuMaji, as I’ve said, do another ship, and then come back to them. Obvs, come back to them, they are the best boys. They just make me write So Much. And it’s nice to finish things and just enjoy them, y’know?
So here’s a list of fic ideas I’m having, feel free to vote for your favorite!
Majima & Kiryu discuss first times
Obvs, a universe where Majima isn’t Kiryu’s first time. Can you guess who- Tachibana, it’s Tachibana.
Red Thread AU
Is... is that not what 0 actually just is?
Reincarnation AU
That One Scene In Ishin Continued (You Know The One.)
Mine asking for dating advice from Kiryu & Majima
I mean... IMAGINE
Majima & Hana commiserating over shitty boyfriends
Fairy Tale AU
I don’t have anything concrete, but the Hannya Man design is just TOO GOOD, I Desperately want to do something with it!
Pacific Rim AU
A/B/O AU
OT3 - Majima/Kiryu/Tachibana
Listen. Listennnnnnn. If Tachibana had lived tho. If Tachibana Had Lived. I don’t think you understand the raw power of two unstoppable men, vibing on their shared boner for Kiryu Kazuma, coming together. Literally even. See, Tachibana is a fan of anyone who’s a fan of Kiryu and Majima isn’t actually possessive, that self-denying piece of shit. He’d be a little cowed by Tachibana’s clear prior claim, but then Tachibana would be like “Oh No My Friend. You’re apeshit and in love with Kiryu and I am fucking into that shit.” And then imagine them BOTH coming for that dragon dick. This is a terribly overlooked dream OT3. Y’all missing out.
Ryuji hitting on Majima
I have no plot for this, I just really really REALLY want to see it happen. It’d be so fucking funny.  “Hey, Kiryu, so uh... that Majima guy, is he like, single, taken, what’s his deal?” “Oh! Uh. I mean, I don’t know? I think he’s single. We never really... talked about it.” “Cool! I’mma ask him out then.” “Oh! Okay. Yeah, that’s okay. I wonder why I suddenly feel bad.” ~Ten Seconds Later~ “You Wanna Take Your Hand Off My Ass Or Lose The Hand?” “Jesus, man, sorry! I was just talking to Kiryu and he said you were single and-” “HE SAID WHAT?!” And that’s how Kiryu learned he was dating Majima.
Post-Y5 fic where we actually talk about our feelings because Holy Fuck Our Feelings
Quest AU
Majima could not more obviously be that one rogue you meet in the bar at your first stop who magically knows absolutely everything and charges unreasonable prices for his help to cover up for the fact that he’d do it all for free because he’s in love with you. That’s an archetype right?
drunk!Majima can’t get home so Nishida calls Kiryu to pick him up
Every variation of their actual first meeting
Because 0 fucking blue-balled us

Went over Tame the Impala, Man After Midnight and Appetite for Destruction in this post.  Here are a couple more; one of them might make an appearance soon!
[GIVE PEACE A CHANCE]
An Independent Stand originally belonging to an abused child.  It stands at a height of about five-eleven.  Those who see its real form describe it as a giant version of one of those little army figures; its ‘clothes’, flesh and hat are all one piece, with seams running down the sides.  Its eyes glow red, like LEDs, and its mouth is a speaker like that you’d find on the back of action figure.  Prominently written across its face and helmet, as if with spray paint, is the word “NOM”.
Whether or not GPAC is intelligent is unclear; it targets people based on sounds (a raised voice appears to particularly aggravate it, though once sufficiently alert even footfalls will count).  Once its effect has been applied, the victim hallucinates that they are on an active battlefield, surrounded by figures specific to their past.  They take no physical damage from their hallucinations, though the stress can drive them to have a heart attack or stroke.  This effect stops if the victim goes completely still, or leaves GPAC’s range.  At close range, GPAC has ho-hum strength and speed, but it has great defense, and its effect activates more easily.
[FAKE STYLE]
This one’s appearance is...a little weird?  It’s basically like one of those little ragdolls, stands at about two feet tall, and it’s got a little Hannya mask that has buttons in the eyes.  It also has little leather cuffs around the ends of its limbs that contrast with its gingham dress.  It carries a sewing needle, almost comically oversized and taller than itself, and there’s a little bit of red thread in it.  Its user is former Yakuza, now working for Passione and missing their tattoo.
FAKE STYLE is not an independent Stand, though its behavior can lend people to believe that; it rarely comes too close to its user, preferring to run all over the place like a horrible little creep and stand ominously in the hallway, and it’s not afraid to ‘attack’ the user, usually by stabbing them through the ankle, if they’re saying something FAKE STYLE finds troublesome.
It has startling speed and attack power; if it successfully hits its target (even if it’s barely a scratch), the site is immediately pierced by the thread, and FAKE STYLE is able to manipulate them.  Once it’s got a limb, the rest of the person’s not too hard to snag, and FAKE STYLE can manipulate them like a puppet.  It can’t force its victim to speak, though, so it usually has to just close their mouth up to prevent any inconvenient screaming.  FAKE STYLE has a limited amount of thread, based on its user’s mental capacity.  I estimate that if I were to write about its user, they’d have enough “thread” to fully control up to three people at once.  There’s an incentive to not use up all this thread, though; FAKE STYLE can also close up its user’s wounds (or the wounds of others), or attach thread to its user in order to puppet them, allowing them to move faster or with more strength than normal.
