Disgusting: Jared Fogle Audio Bragging About Sex with Children Heard In New Documentary [Video]
March 08, 2023 9:24 PM PST
Former Subway spoksperson Jared Fogle crimes against children are detailed in a new ID documentary, “Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster.”
The documentary includes disgusting real-life phone calls of Jared bragging about and planning sex with children.
via USA Today:
Once celebrated for his astonishing 245-pound weight loss, thanks to a diet of Subway’s low-fat sandwiches, authorities uncovered the true Fogle, one that hundreds of commercials failed to capture: a perverse, power-drunk man who abused 14 minors.
Fogle’s undoing is the focus of Investigation Discovery’s three-hour docuseries, “Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster” (Monday, 9 EST/PST and now streaming on Discovery+). Filmmakers interviewed Fogle’s former classmates, radio host-turned-informant Rochelle Herman – who befriended Fogle to expose his attraction to minors – and two of Fogle’s victims, Christian Showalter and Hannah Parrett. Fogle declined to participate in the docuseries, according to filmmakers.
Herman first met Fogle in 2006 when she hosted him on her local Florida radio show. She was uncomfortable with Fogle’s flirty nature and disturbed when he told her that he found middle school girls hot. Herman, a mother of two, suspected Fogle of deviant behavior and thought if she befriended him and recorded their phone calls, she might obtain evidence she could take to the FBI.
During their chats, he told her he found minors attractive because “They just have such nice, pure bodies.” He said being with someone 9 or 10 would be “really hot.”
Herman took her tapes to the FBI, but the agents told her that because she had recorded Fogle without his knowledge, the tapes were inadmissible in court. So she became an informant for the FBI, keeping up her relationship with Fogle and handing over their taped chats to the agency.
This went on for about three years, and Herman became frustrated. The FBI attempted to lure Fogle to Sarasota, Florida, for a fake children’s birthday party to prove he was willing to cross state lines in order to have sex with a minor. Due to a last-minute change in Fogle’s schedule, he was unable to attend the party and the sting operation was foiled.
Indiana State Police Capt. Chuck Cohen received a tip that Russell Taylor, then the executive director of Fogle’s philanthropic organization, sent images that depicted bestiality. Cohen explains in the documentary that possessing such images is not illegal, but performing sexual acts with animals is. So authorities obtained a warrant and searched Taylor’s home in April 2015.
During their search, they discovered that Taylor had hidden cameras throughout the home and in the bedrooms of his stepdaughters, Showalter and Parrett. The cameras captured the girls during vulnerable moments, like when they were undressing, as well as their friends. Authorities found more than 500 explicit images.
Through the investigation into Taylor, authorities discovered he had sent an image of a naked minor to Fogle. Fogle responded to the image, asking when he could have sex with the child, which triggered an investigation.
Steven Debrota, an assistant U.S. attorney at the time, says in the docuseries that Taylor gave Fogle a thumb drive and a laptop with child porn. A search warrant was granted and authorities raided Fogle’s home on July 7, 2015.
Fogle allegedly spent $12,000 a year on sex workers, Debrota says in “Jared from Subway.” In text messages obtained during the investigation of Fogle, he wrote to an undisclosed recipient, “I’ll pay you big for a 14- or 15-year-old .. ’cause it’s what I crave!” He added of his preference: the “Younger the better LOL.”
Debrota says Fogle had sex with underage sex workers while staying at The Plaza and The Ritz-Carlton hotels in New York.
In August 2015, Fogle pleaded guilty to possession or distribution of child pornography and traveling across state lines to have commercial sex with a minor. He is serving a 15-year sentence at a Colorado prison.
15 years doesn’t seem nearly long enough.

last song: We’re Good by Dua Lipa
last movie: Scarface (1983)
•If I had to rate that movie I would give it a 1/10. It’s fucking terrible, and I do not understand how it became such a big cult classic. The only good thing about it is Michelle Pfeiffer.

My #1 post of 2022
I'm gonna miss Amber Gray as Persephone so much 😭 She is literally the perfect Persephone, and her chemistry with Patrick Page as Hades is just unmatched. I wish her well but god I wish she didn't have to leave.

Could use this as inspiration for layout, have the designers photo as the image with their name big, then the info down the sides. Possibly b&w images with coloured back ground?

At dusk [on July 10, 2004], a few dozen women will gather in the garden of Ruth Gan Kagan, in Jerusalem’s Baka neighborhood, in order to mark a special event: the 116th anniversary of the death of Hannah Rochel Verbermacher, the Maiden of Ludmir, a solitary women from the town of Ludmir, in Ukraine (during her lifetime the town was part of the Russian Empire), who gained fame as an admor (Hasidic teacher and master). She prayed in a tallit (prayer shawl) and tefillin (phylacteries), and like her male counterparts she held a “third meal” for her followers (the meal eaten on Shabbat afternoon, which is pervaded by a melancholy feeling because of the imminent conclusion of the Sabbath) at which she expounded on the Torah. She also received Hasidim who had questions on religious matters and granted them blessings.
…The 116th anniversary is not a round year, but it is nonetheless a special date. On Sunday, which is the exact memorial day, Verbermacher’s admirers will visit her grave, on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. The grave was discovered only a year ago [2003] by Nathaniel Deutsch, a Jewish researcher from Pennsylvania (where he is an associate professor of religion at Swarthmore College). On October 2003, after several years of research, Deutsch published “The Maiden of Ludmir: A Jewish Holy Woman and Her World” (University of California Press).
In the past few months, Kagan organized the establishment of a fine headstone on Verbermacher’s grave (the original stone was apparently shattered during the period of Jordanian rule in the city and there is no record of what it said), which will be unveiled on Sunday. The new headstone deliberately makes no mention of her function as an admor; the formulation on the headstone, “a just rabbanit” - a word usually used for a rabbi’s wife - is the term by which she is referred to in contemporaneous archives…
Verbermacher settled in the Land of Israel when she was in her fifties, following a wave of harassment on the part of the Hasidic community in which she lived. As far as is known, she continued to act as an admor in Jerusalem, too. Because “maiden” is a pejorative epithet that was foisted on her by her opponents in the religious world, Kagan and her group do not use it and prefer to refer to her simply as Hannah Rochel.
…Studies of Hasidism also mention other women who gave Torah lessons and blessed the Hasidim, though they were all wives or daughters of well-known rebbes (the best-known of them is Udel, the daughter of the Ba'al Shem Tov, the founder of Hasidism) whose family lineage made possible their anomalous behavior. Verbermacher, in contrast, is the only woman who functioned as a genuine admor, and without enjoying the protection of a prominent lineage. (She did have another form of “protection.” The large inheritance she received from her father, who was a merchant, meant that she was not dependent on the economic favors of her surroundings.)
…[T]he gossip-mongers claimed that she not only behaved like a man but that her voice was also masculine, giving rise to the allegation that she was possessed by a dybbuk, or evil spirit. Deutsch thinks the story served as a model for the playwright S. Ansky, author of the famous Yiddish play “The Dybbuk.” Its plot does not follow the story of Hannah Rochel in all details, but there are many similarities (a woman with a masculine voice, a forced marriage, a holy man who seeks to exorcise the dybbuk, and so forth). There is no clear-cut proof of this, but Deutsch found at least circumstantial evidence. Ansky, he discovered, visited Ludmir twice in the years before he wrote his play and interviewed residents there about the story of the “maiden.”
Verbermacher later immigrated to Ottoman Palestine. In the popular account her move was caused by persecution, though Deutsch conjectures that one reason may have been the fact that many Hasidim moved to the Land of Israel around this time - it was a period of messianic hopes among Eastern European Jewry. The exact year of her immigration is unknown, but it was probably in 1860.
In the Montefiore Archive in London, Deutsch found two mentions of Verbermacher’s residence in Jerusalem, in two different censuses conducted by Sir Moses Montefiore in 1866 and in 1875. The same source turned up the year of her birth: 1805. In each census, by the way, she appears under the category of widows (the overall name then assigned to single women) and is said to belong to the “Old Wohlin kolel” (kolel now means a yeshiva for married men but at the time referred to a community). The first census lists her as “rabbanit Rochel Hannah,” from Ludmir, the second as “the just rabbanit Hannah Rochel from Ludmir.”
…[Hannah Rochel’s new] headstone was designed by the architect Avigayil Zohar…who was also long familiar with the story of the “maiden” and was thrilled at the privilege that befell her. The design, Zohar says, “was determined by a number of criteria, especially by the request of the burial society that the headstone not stand out from the rest of the headstones in the area. They were also opposed to the building of a `tent’ (a structure in which visitors can congregate, as is common with graves of important rabbis and admors). In light of the possibility that the grave will become a site of pilgrimage, we also saw to it that a place for candles was hewed in the stone, and after the headstone is in place we will also hew a place for kvitlech (notes containing requests and wishes, such as are placed at the Western Wall and at graves of admors).”
Schechter hopes that in the wake of the book’s publication and the unveiling of the headstone, lost writings of Verbermacher will also turn up. According to an article published in 1952, only four sentences from her sermons have been preserved. “Every pure thought that stems from the heart cannot be grasped by the mind,” she said…

Amelia Hood loving backstory
Amelia “Mia” Hood. A woman of many talents and talks. The path she has taken has always fallen between light and dark. Having her heartbroken plenty of times and having her heart soaring like she’s on top of the world.
The girl is no stranger to love having her heart flying like she’s on top of the world. Skilled from a certain age with a bow and arrow, sweet, humorous, charming, caring and clever.
Going to Wonderland was something that she thought would be a mistake but it head to an love story she would never forget. Meeting the man who was fated to be her husband, William Scarlet. Who was separated from her brother Robin when they were children and landed in Wonderland.
The young maiden travel the land, even landing herself in the same place twice while other times getting trapped. The girl over the years have learned to become skilled in a sword and archery, even stealing a few things along the way. For example the hat she stole from the Mad Hatter back in the day.
She never held back from stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, saving people from their sadness hours. Caring, kind and mostly loyal. Their family swear by it. Which her to meeting Princess Rochelle, with her and her husband talking the young girl under their wing, treating her like their own until she found the girl’s parents. Then meeting the hateful Evil Queen, it was a tricky and risky situation, spending years of fighting against the queen’s evil raw talent. In result, it causes her pain and lost. Losing her husband to the evil queen’s hand watching him die right in front of her fearing she might next, she ran to survive.
Leaving the Enchanted Forest and once again, landing Wonderland to meet up with Queen Stella to release her lost and pain, being the woman’s right hand one was a deal made that she’s forgot. Yes Queen Stella disliked her, she adored the woman’s bravery and strength to go though it knowing it hard it must have been for her..the least she can do is remove the pain from losing a loved one. She was the queen of hearts but she wasn’t totally heartless. So the deal was done, living her days in Wonderland in a good room and catching anyone who did wrong there.
It’s where she met Hannah, who was a girl who entered Wonderland by accident protecting her and making a deal for she can stay. In result, the two of them became friends having tea parties, going adventures and much more. Finding this light once again by saving people and feeling free. But then again, it was Wonderland at its finest moments..with time, that place became harsher.
Some time later, she left Wonderland and returning back to the Enchanted Forest to her brother Robin. One may thing, William was the only love in her life, the young charming lady met Nick Wild who was a servant to the queen of hearts then the evil queen, a few pirates, Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk and even messed around with a former horsemen named Quinton Beck. Breaking a few hearts and loving a few were part of life right?
All of them had loving and adoring, ideals and value. Amelia learned from all of them smiles, skills and laughs. Robin even interrogated every single of them, before trying anything with his. The one that could’ve stayed with her but didn’t was Beck. The two bonded the day they met during a cold winter, as she was hiding and found shelter in his barn that kept horses and chickens. She made a deal with to stay for the winter until she get back on her feet. He kindly agree figuring out who she was and knowing she won’t steal from him. The two walked into his home as they talked. Beck noticed the wedding band on her finger figuring she was married then Amelia mentioned that her husband died. Beck nodded in understanding, since his wife left him saying that he was a coward and unwilling. Amelia assured him that he wasn’t neither of those things and Beck assured her that life means different things to a lot of people.
The two of them bonded, laughed cooked and shared stories even taking in about their skills and past relationships. “Wait I knew a Jacqueline, well she went as Jack..I dated her, you did too?” Beck asked mid laughed.
She nodded laughing, “It was one adventurous time..I kissed her and we were drunk.”
The night as the snow fell, Amelia was wondering around the home reading old book and listening to humming sounds from outside as Beck returns from cutting up logs for the fireplace. He wrapped his arms around her neck kissed her cheek, “You seem to reading something interesting.”
“Yes I am..it’s notebooks and books from your time as a horsemen. Working in the stables and everything.. I still don’t understand why you gave it up?” She asked warmly looking at him.
“You know why, I never tended on staying there for long. I wanted to normal simple life soon as I can get one. But hey, I never said I wouldn’t get back on the horse.”
“Then get back on that horse. Your skilled with a sword, you taught me to use me..you can work strongly and become the man who you dream to be..I understand this is your dream and I know that you would love to do it again.”
“And your right..I would. When the time is right I will..but for now, we gotta focus on surviving this cold winter. And then I can escort you back home.”
She stayed quiet and nodded understanding what he meant. Beck kneeled in front of her, taking her hands, “I’ve met and dated a lot of people in my life..they taught me love, faith, courage and you are teaching me hope..weather you see it or not.”
“And surprisingly your teaching me comparison in my work..I hope that we both the things we wants in love. I know we will.” She replied, gently cupping his cheek and kissed his lips as he returned the smooth tender kiss.
Month past as spring came, Beck and Amelia kept their promises to keep each other company and take care of one another. Soon enough, Beck escorted her back her home where he met Robin who interrogated him quickly then soon enough after realizing what kindest he shown, he offered a place with the merry men but he refused the kind offer. The pair parted ways hoping to see each other soon and agreed to do better. It was a sweet but slightly sad departure.
Within the years, Amelia grew stronger with her skills as an archer, humorous with her attitude and became the kind woman she was meant to be. Traveling the land, saving people with every turn, bringing people hope into their homes. If she was given the chance, after saving a family or when the holidays came around Amelia would gift every child a toy or sweets as an act of kindness. The children adored her everytime she did it, even gathering the families to sing songs as they all shared a feast.
Her brother charmed and humor the idea every time she did it, eventually joining along with the merry men with the tunes. His wife, Marion and their son Roland overjoyed with happiness every time she did. Speaking of Roland, the little boy couldn’t be more happier to have an aunt like Amelia. Strolling through the village on Sundays, stories read to him every night before bed if his parents can’t do it, dancing around the fire with his aunt and most of all hugs and kisses.
She grew up in time as her heart grew along with her. Amelia always willing to look for courage, love and appreciate the idea of adventure. The question is, who will be by her nice for her next adventure in life? We will have to wait and find out.
So what did you think? Did you like it? I might post the first meeting between her and other characters in her part, who knows.
