So I caught up to How I Attended an All Guys Mixer today and boy am I excited to finally get a glimpse into Tokiwa's head when it comes to how he feels about Suo. While I think it's been made abundantly clear he finds her attractive, it's the story has been pretty vague when it comes to explaining whether that attraction translates into a crush or not. Which of course becomes a huge point of interest because he's paired with the most down bad bitch in the entire cast, Suo. (When will we see how she fell for him author i am waiting most eagerly) Before chapter 51 I personally believed Tokiwa had some level of romantic attraction to her but was pointed ignoring it because he sees Suo as someone out of his league who just wants to be friends. However, this ending scene really stuck out to me

While I definitely think my earlier thoughts still have some credibility- Tokiwa's self image is most definitely making him feel awkward in response to Suo's earnest admission that spending time with him makes her very happy. And that final statement from him can be read as more along the lines of Tokiwa asking himself why he felt he was someone who *could* ask Suo out like this. However, I'm not so sure Tokiwa even has a crush on Suo at this point- or if he does, it's certainly not something he's aware of. Either way, I'm super excited to see things perhaps moving along one way or the other with them, since they are my favorite duo in this manga. Also reposting this very cute scene of Suo calming herself down during the date not date because she's adorable and I love her so much
