I had a thought

So if anyone here knows who Cryaotic is (I don't watch him anymore, exile your concerns), he played this game called Fragile Dreams. There's a character in it named Crow, and there's a scene with him that has very Skully energy.

I feel the need to preface this by saying Skully gives me the energy of someone who really doesn't know much about friendship, being someone who might be very lonely. (I've been told he in fact was.) So maybe he reads about both friendship and love in books and they kind of blend together for him because he depends on his imagination to fill in the blanks. Definitely not malicious by any means in his misunderstandings and misgivings.

That being said, I'm gonna let this clip speak for itself.

Like, Skully just kisses Yuu with the same impression Crow has: he just thinks friends kiss each other. Very innocent.

I dunno, maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but someone tell me they see what I'm trying to say.

He acts gentlemanly because he believes Jack is also a gentleman

Skully believes that staying traditional and respecting and protecting the past is important
