Meeting Seo Haesu for the First Time

Requested. G/N. Here are the the miniscule crumbs!

There's a guy sitting at your usual table.

Not that you own the table, or you were particularly fond of that spot. But routine breeds familiarity and you've been coming to this gimbap restaurant for years now; you know the owners by name, and that table is as good as reserved for you.

(Except it's a casual little hole in the wall that doesn't take reservations, and this is just you being bratty.)

Nevertheless, despite your table being taken (as is every other one) - the food is too delicious, ingredients too fresh, price too cheap, and it's too awkward to back out now that the kind ajussi behind the counter has spotted you.

With a sigh, you ask the guy if the chair opposite is taken, if he minds you sitting there and he gives you an almost imperceptible shrug.

"Thanks," you murmur, dropping into the seat.

He's really quiet and kinda rude.

You notice his overgrown bangs pricking into his eyes because he's openly staring at you. Head propped up on hand and lazily chewing, observing you with a half lidded gaze.

He doesn't even try to hide it.

"What?" you ask defensively, eyes narrowing and folding your arms.

That annoying shrug, the small lift of shoulders, comes again and you feel like hitting him.

"Creep," you mutter, pulling out your phone and keeping your eyes glued to it because at least that's something to distract you as you wait for your food.

You think you hear a huff of laughter but you don't bother to look at him.

The next time you lift your head, the seat is empty, and there's not a crumb left on his plate.

Misfortune strikes you again and again when you find the guy at your table every single time.

What's worse is all the other seats are taken. Every single damn time too.

He seems to have lost interest in you after the first meeting and instead diverts all his attention to his food.

There's a few things you notice:

1) He eats like it's his last meal. Packing away more food possible than you thought a guy of his size could on a regular basis.

2) He loves tuna gimbap. The banchan he seems to pick at and reluctantly finish, but he eats rolls and rolls of gimbap like it's going out of style.

3) You're actually impressed. As would anyone if they saw someone wolf down thirteen rolls in front of them.

He finds you staring that particular day, and his arm comes round to protectively cover his food, raising his eyebrows in challenge. As if to say 'Get your own.'

"I've got my own!" You growl, answering him out loud.

You gesture to your own gimbap, your own special that the owners know exactly how you like it and double filled at no extra cost.

His eyes zero in on your food, and he's much more interested than he was on the first day and all the other times since then. For a moment you think he's going to launch across the table and swipe it for himself.

He takes a deep breath to steady himself, then tells you, "That looks good."

It's the first time you've heard him speak. His voice is raspier than you expected. You don't bother to respond and eat your own food at record pace out of spite.

He watches your food, not you, each time afterwards. Picks at his tuna gimbap with the same bored air as the banchan and eats like it's a chore instead of the previous fervour.

"You know you can order something else, right?" You say, fed up with your involuntary companion.

He shrugs, the air of resignation around him cancelling out your urge to roll your eyes.

"Here." You slide a couple pieces over to him, surprised at yourself for your kind gesture but if it means he's going to stare less and make you feel less self-conscious, then it can only be a win.

WIth his chopsticks, he brings your gimbap to his nose, gives it a sniff and looks directly at you.

"Seo Haesu," he says, a faint smirk on his lips before popping it into his mouth.

He closes his eyes, chewing carefully and savouring the flavour.

Park Hae Soo

Listen.... It took 'Narco Saints' for me to realize that... I do love watching him on screen. I have also seen him in other things, and I honestly have loved his performances.

He manages to hold my attention long enough to acknowledge that... Yeah, I like this guy, he is very good at his craft. Let's go see more stuff with him in it! So that's how I decided he's a fave. lol.

Kim Jae Wook

I have seen him in SO MANY series/dramas, and every single time, every SINGLE time, he makes me root for his characters. Yes, even when he's playing evil AF characters. I think high key, he fits the villain characters a little more. I don't know, it's something about his elegant looks that make it easy for him to play villains. His most memorable being in 'VOICE', and in 'DEATH'S GAME'.

ALSO, he has a very special place in my heart. Way back when, Tumblr used to be a fun place for online RP. I had an amazing RP partner that used his beautiful face as an FC for a very fun character. I don't remember his name too much. If I remember it, I'll come back and edit it in, but... still... That particular character was villain-ous. lol

Park Hyung Sik

This man is just adorable AF. He's fun to watch in most of the series/dramas he's in, and my favorite performance of his was in the series 'Happiness'. Despite him being a favorite, a lot of the stuff he's in is ... not really a personal favorite, [save for 'Happiness' which I really liked.] but his acting is always a breath of fresh air. Like I said, he's fun to watch on screen, even when the writing is bad. lol

Just like Park Hyung Sik, this man is adorable and very fun to watch, but sometimes the stuff he's in is... not so great. However, he is great, and I have yet to watch him in Warrior Baek Dong Soo. I hear that was a great performance of his. Honestly, all his performances are great. Also, his eyes are a thing that keeps me glued to the screen. He's just beautiful.

Anyway... Favorite. I always enjoy watching him on screen, even if the stuff he's in has insanely terrible writing.

Yoo Ah In

Another top performer, and reason why I'll stay and watch something. Despite all that bullshit controversy going on about drugs and this man [I would go off tangent and explain why I don't give a fuck when actresses or actors end up being junkies. That's their choice and their body. It's something they have to fight with.] , I still find it very fulfilling to watch him on screen. He's very very good at what he does, and well... You know he's also very easy on MY EYES. lol

Whatever the case, I thank that lady Song Hye Kyo, for being his friend and sticking with him through thick and thin and helping him out as the friend that she is. I hope he gets the help he needs and is able to come back to acting. I know it won't be unscathed, because South Korean audiences are very harsh on drug accusations [in which they should be harsher on GRAPE accusations, but go figure. They're very ass backwards. I won't get into it. That's all I'm saying.] , but me personally, I'll be waiting patiently for him to return.

Hope to see him in more new performances. In the meantime, I'll continue to watch what he's been in.

GLENNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... you know... Because yes. Also, he's great, overall. He's got a charm that just keeps me watching every time he's in anything. He's one of the reasons I continued to watch 'The Walking Dead' for as long as I did. Him and Michone, but that's another story for another time.

Why is he in this list, if he's mostly in Western productions? Actually, no. He was in a few South Korean productions as well, and he was great in them. Hell, he even did a variety show in South Korea and was adorable in it. So... THERE. lol.

The first time I saw this dude was in 'Hotel Del Luna'. And I thought he was great, not gonna lie. Unfortunately, at that time, someone else had grabbed my attention. However, fastforward to a lot of performances later, including 'Exhuma' where he was superb! and I realized that this man is AMAZINg. Also, he played Shin Ha Kyun's younger self in 'Beyond Evil'. So technically he's Lee DongSik Too! How much better can we get?

That aside he's super talented. And of the new boys that are usually in Top 10s, he's the only one that made it on mine. Also, he will forever be Baby! Shin Ha Kyun to me, because I believe he can achieve such heights as an actor.

........... I don't think I need to explain WHY, this man is in this list? Or do I? If I do, just know this, he's nicknamed 'The GOD of Acting' by his fellow South Koreans. So.......... Yeah. Either way, and God of acting nickname aside, he lives up to that expectation all the time. No matter what character he's playing, he always puts his soul into it. I love that about him.

Doh Kyung Soo

.... Listen... Idol actors get a lot of shit when they decide to go into acting, because they're often accused of being BAD at acting. Kyungsoo, is one of those that has surprised audiences with his acting. And honestly, I feel it. I have seen most of everything he's been in [save for that one series with Zo In Sung], and I gotta say, I loved the performances through and through. Whether he was playing a high school kid with problems, and or a crazy prosecutor, and or an astronaut stranded on the moon. The feeling has been there the whole time, as well as the SOUL. This man, knows how to act, he was born for it. And of the many many MANY idol actors out there doing their thing, he's in my opinion, THE BEST of the BEST.

The only other series I have seen him in is 'Adamas', and I gotta say, it was very fun time. I'm not gonna lie that I chose to watch him because I don't mind watching him on screen. He's absolute eye candy in every sense of the damn word.

However... I hope that as I keep trying to watch stuff he's been in or is in 'currently', I can appreciate his acting more.

I'm not gonna lie... I had seen this kid in other series, and he did kind of grabbed my attention. However, the stories were so good, I was actually invested in the stories [ie. 'Revenge of Others', 'Meow The Secret Boy']. However, enter 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency' and... That was it. I immediately remembered his face from the previous stories/series and how in those series, he was the one that had caught my attention. Then here in this series Marriage Agency... I was SOLD.

This beautiful man is up and coming, true. So I'm waiting patiently for him to get more 'STARRING' roles. He's only gotten a few. He has yet to have that one HIT that catapults him to getting even more attention. However, with what he's done, he's done enough for me to pay attention. He's good, and he was so good, that in Marriage Agency, he managed to get my attention, when that series features some of the most beautiful men South Korea has to offer. Shout out to the other Jihoon, he's beautiful too.

Either way... This kid is on my radar. I can't wait to see more of him and determine WHERE in this list he fits. Will he be Top 10? or Top 20? We'll see.

Ok, so the same thing that happened with Seo Jihoon, happened to me with this Jihoon. He's Park Jihoon. So the first time I saw him was in 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency'. I did take notice at how pretty and cute he was. I mean, this freakin series had some very beautiful people in it and I did notice. However, the Jihoon that caught my attention there was Seo Jihoon. Fastforward to a few months later and me watching 'Weak Hero Class 1' and I lost it. I remembered who this kid was, and I remembered where I had seen him. He is amazing in this series, so now I'm a little lost in the rabbit hole. I am currently going through his list of works. It's not that big, so I feel like I'm almost over. Currently and at the time I'm about to post this, I have started 'At a Distance Spring is Green', and I gotta say, he's adorable and he's entertaining to watch.

We'll see in the future, where he ends up in the list. Will he be Top 10? or Top 20? I will figure it out eventually. In the meantime, I also love watching him in variety shows and doing that cute gesture with his hands. You know the one....

You saw this coming, right? Either you did or didn't, but you should know by now. This man took me by the horns and hasn't let me go yet. Listen....Might as well be the devil here and say, yes this man makes me feel things every time I see him acting. Whether he's playing a robot, a hotel manager, a disgruntled king, it doesn't matter. He puts so much soul into whatever he does, that it makes me feel like I am there experiencing what the character is experiencing.

He has a long history, which has been amazing to look through. And honestly, up to this day, I still haven't watched everything he's ever been in. He has an extensive list of works that he's been part of, and his participation in each project has, honestly, always stood out to me. At least in the projects/series/dramas I've been able to see.

Thank you, Yeo Jin Goo, for sharing your insane acting talent with all of us. I consider myself lucky to be alive in this era, and to be able to witness this. Greatly appreciated. Hope to be able to live long enough to see you thrive for many many years.

Walking from the bus stop from a long trip to the city, the feeling of home-sickness melting away the closer you get to the gate of your home. Opening the gate in front of your house despite the trouble of carrying one bag of groceries and the other a bag full of fresh, warm pastries. The walk from the gate to front door of the home you share with your boyfriend, felt nostalgic. It was the crack of dawn. The sky gray-blue mixing with orange, the smell of faint after-rain, the trees bustling from the wind.

Entering the familiar home, you take off your shoes and set to the kitchen to put down the pastries and cook dinner. It had been 2 days since you last cooked and seen your partner. After washing your hands, you put on your apron that had a home smell to it. First, you take out the store bought kimchi and put it in the fridge, to preserve it's coldness. Then, you begin to wash and chop the ingredients to make Kimchi Fried Rice. Your boyfriend's favorite. The house is quiet aside from the noises from the running water and the knife meeting the cut board.

It seems like no one was home yet.

Or,

that's what you thought. There was an intimidating aura running up your spine, making you turn around. It was Seo Haesu. "Haesu! You scared me!" you jumped back a bit. Walking around quietly has always been Haesu's habit, it's especially scary when it's dark outside. "Did you finish work early?" you asked with a smile on your face. His half-lidded eyes meets yours and his face stoic. "Ah, you must be hungry," you said immediately catching onto his expression "sit down and wait, dinner will be ready soon my love." Haesu's face softened and lifted his hand to rest on your head. It's like you could read his mind. That's what he probably thought, but it occurred to you all the time that whenever he's moody, it must be because he's hangry.

The two of you then spent the rest of the evening enjoying each other's company even though you find yourself talking more than he does.

You turned your head to the sound of your lover's voice as you yawned. A look of amusement colored in your tired expression at the sight of him casually laying in your bed, propping his head up with his palm and elbow to look at you. On his face was a blank expression, but he always looked like that. Nonetheless, his relaxation was a complete contrast to how burnt out you felt from studying.

"You should take a break."

Rubbing your eye and yawning again, you agree with a sleepy nod. "I definitely deserve one after all this."

"So... snack break or nap time?"

"You just want to eat my snacks free of charge again, don't you?" you chuckled, making him smile a bit.

"Food's as important as rest." He scooted back a bit as you crawled into bed next to him.

You look up at him, grinning. "Wow, you being cheesy? That's a first."

"Yeah, well..." Annoyance flashed on his face, but his slightly pink cheeks told a different story. "Forget it. I don't even have anything to reply with." He sighed while you laughed softly and moved upwards just enough to kiss his cheek.

"I know what I said earlier, but I couldn't let ya starve." Taehoon said in a firm tone but Haesu noticed he was avoiding his gaze, his confused expression changed into a small smile.

• On the canon timeline, I hc Hobin visiting Haesu in jail, and he sometimes makes Taehoon tag along. Haesu only gives him a "why is he here?" look everytime he comes. Then one day Taehoon comes without Hobin to visit Haesu, and Haesu has a dumbfounded look when he saw him by himself, no way he is willing to visit him!? Why would he do that!?

‘Flower of Evil’: Lee Joon Gi shares thoughts on wrapping filming, “I found it difficult and felt a huge pressure, but…”

Lee Joongi, Moon Chaewon, Jang Heejin, and Seo Hyunsoo shared their thoughts on wrapping the filming of ‘Flower of Evil.’

The main cast of the drama, who have given their best in their performances, sent special messages expressing their gratitude to the love they’ve received.

First, Lee Joongi, who has lived up to his name as Do Hyunsoo, expressed his gratitude: “We’ve successfully finished this ‘Flower of Evil’ race we’ve been running for the past 7 months. Actually, when I started out on this project, I found it so difficult and felt such a huge pressure that I wondered if I could do a good job. I think we were able to finish it well because of the director, writer, staff, and my co-stars.”

He also expressed affection for the drama: “Above all, I was able to finish the race because of the energy I received from the viewers who have enjoyed and supported ‘Flower of Evil’ together. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. As with every other project I worked on, ‘Flower of Evil’ will linger in my mind for a particularly long time. I want to say I am sincerely grateful to everyone who’s loved ‘Flower of Evil’ and Do Hyun Soo, and I love you.”

Moon Chaewon, who created another character of her career with Cha Jiwon, said: “We have spent three seasons, from a warm spring through a cool autumn, working on ‘Flower of Evil’ and I still can’t believe it is coming to an end. I have done the best I could at the filming, so I will remember this drama as a more rewarding experience than any other project.”

She also added, “From the bottom of my heart, I thank viewers who have shown their love for the drama. I wanted to stay true to this character Cha Jiwon and her emotions, so there were difficult moments. However, I was able to overcome those challenges thanks to the love you’ve sent us. I had such a happy time working on this great project with director Kim Chulgyu, writer Yoo Junghee, all the staff, and my co-stars. Please show your support and look forward to ‘Flower of Evil’ until the end.”

As Do Haesoo, who’s proved stronger despite her delicate appearance, Jang Heejin also expressed her gratitude: “We received much bigger love than we’d expected and I had such a happy time. I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who’s worked on this production and to viewers who have loved the drama. Finally, the finale of ‘Flower of Evil’ is airing tonight. Please stay with us until the end.”

Seo Hyunwoo, who’s demonstrated his acting range as Kim Moojin, also shared her affection: “Thanks to the passionate love and support from viewers, we were able to stay safe, cheer up, and finish the filming along with the staff. I hope viewers cheer up and continue to find comfort in ‘Flower of Evil’ in these tough times. Thank you so much.”
