hiiii sorry I feel like I request so much I just love your stories!!!! could you do an EMT poly!marauders where the reader is coming home from an injury or surgery or something and they’re just being all sweet and overprotective of her
Don't be sorry sweetheart, thank you for requesting!! <3
cw: mentions of hospital, surgery (no details), nausea
emt!marauders x fem!reader ♡ 930 words
“Careful of the step,” Remus warns as he unlocks the front door.
James makes a disgruntled little sound as he passes over it with you in his arms, angling you sideways to get you both through the front door.
“I know where the step is,” he says. “I’ve lived here exactly as long as you.”
“I just wanted to make sure.” Remus heads straight for the bathroom. “Do you want to have some more ibuprofen, dove? It’s been long enough now.”
“Yes, please,” you call after him. James sets you down on the couch, a divot forming between his brows at the thick quality to your voice.
“Siri has your bag,” he reminds you. “You want it, just to be safe?”
You nod, swallowing.
Sirius hustles over, crouching in front of you and holding the plastic bag under your mouth. “Oh, baby,” he coos, setting a hand on the back of your neck while you shudder and cough unproductively over the bag. “I know, I’m sorry. Better make it aspirin, Rem,” he calls down the hall. “She’s still got a fever.”
“How bad?”
“I’ll check in a bit.” He presses his lips to your hairline, murmuring softly. “She’s under duress at the moment, aren’t you, poor girl?”
You want to cry for the sweetness in his tone, not one ounce of teasing. It can be hard to tell with Sirius, sometimes, but when you’re not feeling well he goes gooey-soft and saccharine as honey, all pet names and gentle touches. His thumb strokes the baby hairs at your nape.
Remus sighs as he comes back. “I knew we shouldn’t have checked her out.”
“I didn’t want to stay there,” you say into the bag, and James splays a hand on your back, rubbing slow circles.
“We know, sweetheart.” He gives his fretful boyfriend a reassuring smile. Remus returns it wearily. “We can take care of you just fine from here, don’t worry.”
Within an hour of waking up from your surgery feeling nauseous and pathetic, you’d been begging anyone who would listen to let you go home. The hospital had wanted to monitor you for a couple more hours, but after that your boyfriends had been able to exercise some sort of paramedic privilege and take you home early despite the normal two-to-three-day inpatient protocol. Your troubles hadn’t evaporated the way you’d expected upon getting out from under all that fluorescent lighting, but you do feel much better being miserable on your own couch.
You cough into the bag a few more times before relinquishing yourself to the idea that you’re stuck with this nausea for the foreseeable future. “I don’t like this,” you decide, lowering the bag from your face.
Remus tosses a thermometer to Sirius, who catches it with a good-natured eye-roll and sets it in your ear compliantly.
“I’m sorry, my love,” James says, his hand migrating to your shoulder as you lean back against the couch cushions. “I know it’s rough right now.”
The thermometer beeps, and Sirius reads the number aloud as he takes it out. You frown.
“Oh, thank god,” Remus exhales. James chuckles at him.
“It’s okay?” you check.
“Perfectly okay.” Sirius kisses your temple. “That’s completely normal for the first twenty-four hours. You’re all good, sweetness.”
Pathetically, you feel a bit invalidated. To feel as gross as you do, surely your brain would have to be fully boiling in there. James must see some of this on your face, because he scoots closer to you on the couch, leaning you against his side.
“Sorry,” you say quietly.
You can feel Sirius gaze boring into the side of your head as he perches on the armrest. “Not sure why you would be,” he mutters, worming his cold feet underneath your thigh, “but do go on.”
“I made you all take me home and now I’m being difficult.”
You’re not quite looking at any of them, but you could swear a collective sigh goes up from your boyfriends.
“Dove,” says Remus, “look at me.”
You do, shifting ever so slightly closer to James' side for comfort. A quiet chuckle rumbles through him, his thumb sweeping back and forth over your shoulder.
Remus’ gaze is steady and kind, his usual remonstrance curbed for your sorry state. “You’re not being difficult,” he tells you. “You’re tired and not feeling well, and that’s to be expected after a procedure like this. I didn’t mean I regret us taking you home, I’m only nervous that you’d have been better taken care of in the hospital.”
“Impossible,” Sirius remarks. Remus nods in grudging acknowledgement.
“I’m glad I’m home,” you say, and despite your best intentions your voice teeters on the edge of a whimper. “I’d rather be with just you guys, you know?”
“We know,” Remus says gently. “I’m glad you’re here, too.”
James makes a soft sound, rubbing your shoulder more firmly. “Are you feeling tired, angel? We could have a nap.”
“We?” you ask.
“What, you think you’re the only one who deserves a rest?” Sirius wiggles his toes underneath your thigh. “You got to sleep just this morning. We’ve been worrying all day long.”
You smile. He looks thrilled to see it, and James stamps a kiss of approval on your cheek. “Right, my bad. A nap sounds good.”
“Perfect,” Remus agrees, standing. James needles his arms underneath you to pick you up again.
“Fairly sure they said I could walk on my own,” you say.
James only shrugs, carrying you towards the bedroom. “Not sure I heard that part. Better safe than sorry, I suppose.”

Too Far
Tumblr media
Rhea Ripley x Reader
Requested by: @gay4rhearipleyblog
Warning: injury, blood
Summary: Rhea left to get in the car while you grabbed your bag. On your way out, you found her on the floor, covered in blood.
Tumblr media
You felt your entire body shake. Your breathing picked up.
Your ears started to ring as the noises around you muffled, you felt like you were underwater.
You rushed to her side, panic rising in your chest as you saw Rhea all bloody, lying on the floor.
You panicked, realizing she was unconscious.
"Help, please!" you yelled as more people came around you to help Rhea.
Soon, an ambulance arrived.
You kept shaking and begging everyone to help her.
It almost got to the point where the paramedics had to take care of you as well.
But you soon collected yourself. But your shaking never stopped.
You decided to head to the hospital in the ambulance.
You held her hand the whole time.
As you waited in the emergency room, your leg was bouncing.
Your mind was running but at the same time, you couldn't think of anything.
You were terrified.
After a thorough examination, the doctors assured you that Rhea would be just fine, even if the doctor did confirm Rhea had sustained a fractured orbital bone.
"She is awake now, you can go in and see her." you thanked the kind doctor before heading in.
When you headed in, she opened her eyes.
"Hello." you said as she moved to sit up. "Stay." you placed your hand on her shoulder and pushed her down onto the bed.
She didn't say anything, only let out a long sigh and laid down.
"What happened?" you asked as you sat down by her leg on the bed.
"Liv and Raquel." was her reply.
"She... they did this?" Rhea only nodded as she looked into your eyes.
You never would have imagined for this rivalry to go this far.
"I want to kill her." she said.
"This is going too far Rhea." you said as you felt tears in your eyes.
"She took Dom, my championship and now this? How could I ever let this one go?" she said but soon realized the tears in your eyes.
"She nearly took you from me. But seeing you laying there... covered in your blood, it was too much." her hand found yours as she squeezed it.
"I'm sorry it got to that. The doctor told me to take some time off. So, I guess I will be home to annoy you a lot more." you knew she was trying to lighten your mood. It worked.
You chuckled a little bit.
"I know I scared you, Princess, I'm truly sorry."
"I'm just glad you are okay." you squeezed her hand.
"They told me, you found me. You saved me."
"I wish I would have been there earlier."
"You would have got hurt. I will... try and take it back a little. For your sake."
"We both know, you won't. Rhea Ripley will not go down without a fight. It is why I love you so much."
"I love you too. Kiss me." she said and you leaned down to give her a sweet kiss.
The doctor told you how serious her injury was, but you were ready to be there for her every step of the way.
To help her heal.
And later, for her to get her revenge.
If there was one mistake that they made, it was that they left Rhea alive.

Tumblr media
"Sir I need you to calm down"
"I will as soon as you answer my questions"
"sir," the paramedic said more sternly now "I've already told you I'm not a doctor so I cannot answer your questions, now please calm down"
And he wanted to fight more and beg that woman to answer his questions because, after all, the only one he cared about was: Is she gonna be ok?
But your eyelids fluttered and the ambulance took a turn and all the sudden he couldn't talk or think or do anything anymore but take your hand in his and start a low chant of the only thing he would allow himself to think, the only thing that still made him able to breathe oxygen into his lungs:
You're gonna be okay, sweetheart, he whispered, his words verging on prayer as he squeezed your hand and watched your beautiful face pale more and more You're gonna be just fine
__ __ __
And as it turns out, his prayers were answered.
"the surgery went well, she's gonna make a full recovery"
He had no words, all he could do was smile like a fucking idiot while he passed a hand through his hair.
She's ok
She's ok
She's ok
That's all his brain was able to muster up, and then for some reason he was hugging the doctor.
"thank you" he grinned "Thank you so much doctor-" he smiled, leaning away "Can I-can I see her?"
The woman cleared her throat, clearly taken aback a bit "Yes," she nodded "she's in the first room on the left, but just so you know the anesthesia is still wearing off so-"
"yes, yes, thank you so much doctor," he couldn't wait for her to finish as he was sprinting to the room already "thank you!" he said one last time, finally opening the door to your room.
He had to stop for a moment and look at you lying on the hospital bed, looking just as perfect as ever.
She's ok
"hey" he spoke softly, approaching your bed, and seeing a smile slowly part your mouth.
"hey"
"How are you feeling?" he asked, moving some hair out of your face and letting his hand linger on your cheek
"not great"
"I'm sorry" he cooed, taking your hand in his and feeling you squeeze it as your eyes watered "What's wrong?" he panicked "Does it hurt- do I call the doctor-?"
"no" you sniffled as a tear fled your eye "I just-"
"what is it, sweetheart?"
"I was just... I was s-so scared"
"oh baby" he murmured, bringing your hand to his mouth to leave a kiss on it "I'm so sorry" he cooed "I can't even begin to imagine how scary that must have been... but hey" he offered you a soft smile as he crouched down to be at your level "you're ok now, there's nothing to worry about anymore" he promised, gently kissing your forehead "you can relax now. I'm here for you, whatever you need you just ask, ok?"
"ok" you nodded, taking a breath "thank you... for everything" you murmured, looking into his kind eyes "for this, for calling the ambulance, for being here for me... just- thank you"
He didn't know what to say, so all he did was kiss you,
"I love you" he smiled "and sugar... don't you ever think about scaring me like that again"
You couldn't help but snort at that
"oh so this is about you then?" you joked
"damn right it is" he laughed in that way he could only do with you "they were about to have to assist two people in that ambulance," he said jokingly (although it was the truth) "and I think I was annoying one of the paramedics so much that I was about to get thrown out"
"oh no what did you do?"
"let's not think about that now," he said, the smile on his lips not able to go away from the first second he saw you
"Baby..." you tilted your head, scolding him silently
"I've brought you a kit-kat" he smiled that smile of his that made you forget what you were talking about every single time
"You did?" it was as if your eyes sparkled
"Of course" he nodded, handing you the candy bar "I'm not sure you can eat it, we're gonna have to ask the doctor, but I wanted you to have something you liked when you woke up"
Your eyes watered again, but this time, for an entirely different reason
"I love you" you whispered
"I love you more, sweetheart"

warnings: kidnapping, blood, death
Author’s note: I'm not blind and English is my second language, please forgive me if I made any mistakes (:
Darkness. I was used to the dark, but this was different, it was quiet but at the same time so loud and scary. I was in a room that wasn't too big, and from the quiet squeaking and dripping sounds, I assumed I was in the basement. Apart from the rats, I was alone. Tied to a chair with dried tears on my cheeks, dehydrated and hungry. I stopped crying and begging for him to let me go some time ago. I don't know how long it has been since my kidnapping. At the beginning, I tried to count, but it didn't work out. A man kidnapped me and since then he came to me three times, he didn't do anything, he just stood there and watched me begging him to let me go. Then I heard the door open.
'hey, we had a good time together, but it has to end' he was nervous.
I knew what the end meant. Death.
'hey... you don't have to do this, you can just let me go, I don't even know what you look like... I won't tell anyone' I tried to calm him down
'I am not stupid!' I flinched at the sudden shout 'if I let you go, you'll go to the police right away' then I felt a blade on my neck.
'no, I won't go to the police, we can just forget about it, you don't have to do it' now tears were streaming down my face
'shut up, shut up!' he pressed the blade a little harder and I felt warm blood trickle down my neck
suddenly the door opened with a bang and I heard
'FBI' immediately feeling a slight relief, there is still hope
'Ronald, get away from her and get on the ground,' said one of the male agents
'no, if I do this, I'll go to jail' said Ronald, as I've learned, pressing the knife harder from stress.
'and if you kill her you'll end up in jail or we'll shoot you... just let her go'
'no' he moved the blade against my neck and almost at the same time I heard the gun go off.
'hey hey you're okay, everything will be fine' said the same agent while pressing something to my neck to stop the bleeding while in the background I heard another agent calling an ambulance.
'I-' I tried to say something
'calm down... don't say anything, my name is Spencer, the ambulance is on its way' he tried to calm me down
After about two minutes of listening to Spencer's soothing voice, the ambulance arrived and as the paramedics took me away on a stretcher and before I lost consciousness, I only managed to whisper
'Thank you'
I woke up to the faint beeping of machines
'hey' it was Spencer
'where am I?'
'in the hospital, it's over' he reassured me
'and Ronald?'
'he died' he replied almost immediately 'he won't hurt you anymore'
'thank you... for saving'
'it's my job'
'still, thank you... can I touch you?... I mean, I-I know your name and voice, but my eyes are replaced by hands and I would like to know what my savior looks like' I stuttered a little
'yy- I- sure' he came closer, offering me his hand
from his hand my hands went towards his face, gently examining it.
'I have light brown eyes and light brown hair,' he said helping
he was beautiful, I knew it even when I saw him by touch.

One day
Summary: Sequel to Be Okay- A Chibs Story
As always 18+
Chibs sat in the chapel of the hospital. He had been on his knees, hands clasped crying and begging for hours for you too be okay. For the doctors and nurses to put you back together. For you to open those beautiful eyes. For you to say anything at all. To see your smile, hear your laugh, feel you warm breath on his ear as you whispered to him. Once again he found himself traveling down the reason he was here and you were in surgery. “My fault” he said out loud his words echoing off the walls.
The ambulance ride had been tense and painful. His mind reeling of the what ifs. They were struggling to get an iv when your heart stopped. The drawn out beep and the blank screen had been gut wrenching. He could only sit back and watch as the paramedics fought to bring you back. The crack of ribs, demands to push this and that made him sick to his stomach. He couldn’t look away though. His eyes were locked on your lifeless ones. He prayed to a god he wasn’t sure he still believed in. He prayed for you to be okay. He pleaded for him to fix this, this you. Give you a chance like you had given him a chance. “My fault” mumbled Chibs right as the monitor beeped again and showed a slight pulse. With a shaky breath he exhaled as he closed his eyes, thank you.
“I need to go with her” Chibs had bellowed as he swung at one of the male nurses. Thankfully for him and the nurse Tig and Juice grabbed onto him and pulled him back to the doors of the er. “Chibs, shhh, its okay” murmured Tig as he held Chibs to him. “No no no” grunted Chibs as he struggled to get out of both man’s grip. “You gotta let them work on her. They have to take her somewhere you can’t go. “soothed Tig. “I need her to be okay Tig” murmured Chibs as he slowly dropped to his knees. “We know” stated Juice as he patted Chibs shoulder. “All my fault boys” Chibs murmured as tears poured down his scarred face.
“Chibs” called Tara as she stepped into the chapel carefully. Frowning as she caught the older mans words. She knew there would be no use in correcting him though. Chibs bolted up his eyes red and swollen. He looked frantic. “Is she” he started to ask as Tara smiled softly and nodded. “She’s going to be okay. She is coming off anesthesia and should be awake in hopefully a few hours.” Replied Tara as Chibs moved and pulled her in for a hug. “Thank you. I don’t know how I can ever repay you” sniffled Chibs.
Once you were able to have visitors he was by your side. Holding your hand, fixing you hair, placing gentle kisses over the bruises on your face. He would have climbed in the bed but Tara said you were to fragile. He talked to you, sang to you. Listed all the reasons he loved you. Waiting on you to open your eyes so he could bask in your love that shown through. The club came and went around him. Dropping off fresh coffee, gifts and food.
You were well loved by the club. Each member have a unique relationship with you. You were more than just Chibs Old Lady. You were warm and friendly, always taking care of them. Looking out when you could. Sweet as pie is how Happy described you. Calm in the eye of any storm. Wouldn’t hurt a fly. All this to say is why Tig and Juice were so slow to respond to the angry screams and sound of things crashing from your hospital room. Surely you wouldn’t be yelling and cussing right?
“Lassie stop… It’s me” begged Chibs as he dodged flying medical equipment as you screamed at him to get out. Your eyes full of a fury and hatred he had never seen before.
“What’s going on?” demanded Tara as she pushed the men out of her way.
“I don’t want them in here” you had spat as tears poured down your face. Tara simply nodded as she started to usher the three men out.
“Wait. Love please” pleaded Chibs as he managed to get to your bedside. Your next words nearly killed him.
***
Your words echoed through Chibs mind as he rode back home from the hospital. He wanted nothing more to stay but you had sent him away. He had left like a beat dog with his tail tucked as Tig and Juice tried to plead his case.
"Why did it take you so long?"
He couldn’t blame you. It was a valid question. One he didn’t have an answer for. One day you would forgive him though he prayed.
Three Months Later
"Look at you Lass" murmured Chibs as he sat watching you take your first steps since your attack. You gave him a small smile as tears snaked down your cheeks and your body shook with the effort.
You thought that week being beaten had been hell but nothing had come close to touching the torture that was relearning how to do things that came easily. You were thankful for Chibs sticking by you no matter how mean you were, how many things you threw at him. Him and his love were always by your side. Telling you one day you would be okay.
"Guess one day was today" you stated as he kissed your forehead once you had reached him.

You’re in labour with our twins and we’re on our way to the hospital. It’s rush hour traffic and there’s a big blockage up ahead. It’s bumper to bumper traffic. I’m rubbing your thighs with my free hand, trying to soothe you. I tell you to just hold out a little longer. We’ll make it if you just hold on. I’m begging you not to, telling you you’re strong enough to hold on, but you feel the urge to push…
The urge is becoming worse as we hit a speed bump, which makes the baby slip past my cervix "hnnng fuck fffffgggaah I have to push!" I exclaim clutching my belly as I spread my legs on the dashboard.
"babe please hold on we're out of the traffic, just a couple more kilometres and we're there" you say as you turn left only to immediately find yourself stuck in traffic again "oh fuck".
"I can't sweetie I hnnng gotta puuuuUUUSH!!" I yell as a contraction hits me causing me to push, you raise my sundress' skirt exposing my puffy lips ready to spread open for our baby.
You rub my inner thigh and smile sympathetically understanding that I can't hold back anymore. I bury my chin into my chest as I push "mmmmmmmmmnnnggggg huuu I wanted that epidural" I whimper out as my womanhood starts to open up slowly.
Your hand slides down towards my lips "I'm sorry baby, I just had no way of knowing it'd be like this" you say massaging my labias. "I k-know sweetie huuu mmmm, oh god here comes another one hnnnnnngggghaaa" I cry out as I push again, my lips opening more and more.
As I keep my feet on the dashboard and test in-between pushes, you can see people from other cars looking curiously at my situation, but decide against telling me to avoid stressing me out "you're doing amazing sweetie" you say kissing my cheek.
I smile lightly before pushing again "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggghhhh" I give it my all as the baby crowns and the head comes halfway out "oooh god I'm gonna tear!!" I cry out my hands going to my vagina.
The traffic begins to clear out as you put your feet on the pedal and we're moving again "we might make it to the hospital baby" you say as my hands wrap around my baby's head.
As we enter the parking lot I push again "mmmmmmmnnnnAAAAAAAA haaa haaa the head's out" I pant out as it dangles in-between my legs "oh fuck hun, hold on" you say as you park the car and quickly get out and open my car door.
You hold the head as I breathe preparing for one final push "huuu huuu huuu s-sorry about the seats" I say feeling the wetness of my birth fluids on my seat, you chuckle "it's alright babe, let's just focus on getting our kid out" you say kissing my lips.
I nod and as soon as I feel my belly contract I give it all I've got "MmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnggggghhhhaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAH haaa haaa" I yell and pant as the baby slips out of me into your hands, the remaining fluids spilling out of me.
You hold our baby and smile before giving her to me "it's a girl we have a daughter hun" you say, I almost cry as I hold her "I should go warn the doctors" "Y-yeah you do that" I say as I begin feeding our little girl.
As you leave I feel the urge to push again, thinking it's the placenta I give in, but as I feel my lips bulge again I start to panic "honey!!" I call out but you're too far to hear me.
Another contraction hits and I push again feeling my lips opening up again, I slowly get out of the car and holding my baby while my legs are forced apart to make space for the second baby's head "hnnng honey!!!!" I call out again.
I'm suddenly pulled into a deep squat as I groan and push "hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" people in the parking lot stare as I feel the agony of my lips spreading apart once again.
"yeah she's over here, the baby's out so I think it shou- babe!?" I hear your voice as I look up to see you running towards me followed by paramedics "hnnnng huuuu I th-think our daughter is going to have a sibling" I pant out.
As you kneel next to me I push again "mmmmmmmnnnnAAAAAAAA huuu huu" I yell as the head pops out with a splash of fluids hitting concrete, one of the paramedics lifts my dress up to see the head of my second baby dangling in-between my thick thighs.
As the paramedics hold my baby's head you hold my free hand "it's alright baby you've already done this once you can do this" you say to encourage me, as my hopefully final contraction hits I push with everything I've got.
"nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggghhhhaaaa" I moan as the baby slips out easily from my already loosened lips into the paramedic's hands as I collapse on the floor exhausted.
"you were amazing sweetie" you say kissing my hand "hmm I know but next time we're getting here as soon as I feel even the smallest pain" I say causing you to chuckle as the paramedics cut the cords.
"and you warn me that you've got more than one in there" you rebut jokingly as I giggle tiredly.

the unraveling (poison and wine blurb)
detective loki x reader
tw: blood, vomit, gore, angst, suicide ideation.
POISON AND WINE MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
The air was still stinging with gunpowder, the buzz still in your ears. You watched the man drop above you, watched as blood began to pool. The sudden disappearance of his weight on top of you sent air crashing into your lungs, too soon it hurt.
You hauled yourself to your feel, snot and blood dribbling down your face, your brain buzzing as you targeted Loki, who had just now lowered his gun, eyes blown. Your throat was raw before you even began screaming, "You motherfucker! Why did you shoot? Huh? We had him! I had him! You fucking shot him!"
Your finger jabbed into Loki's chest like a knife, your face hot and angry, veins threatening to burst, "We had him! He was talking! He was telling me where she was. I had her. I had her! You motherfucker!"
Loki took your words silently, unmoving and stoic. He let you scream at him, poke him, demean him. He could see the suspect over your shoulder laying on the floor, the pool of blood getting larger and darker. It's when you started babbling and choking on your words that he stopped you. You weren't an angry detective anymore, you were spiraling into chaos, a broken mother.
Loki took your shoulders into his hands, leaning to meet your eyes, bring you back down to earth, "Hey, Hey. Stop. Stop. You need to stop. I know, okay. I know. Stop."
Pained sobs ripped through you, heaving and fighting for purchase in your bones, "No. She's gone now. Gone! You fucking shot the only guy that knew where she was! I had him. I had him and you didn't trust me. You don't trust me anymore."
"I do trust you. He was on top of you, with a gun pointed at your head. Do you not remember that?" Loki hardened his grip around your arms, blunt nails digging into the back of your blood soaked arms.
You shook your head wildly, "You don't trust me. You don't. You watch my every move, you never let me do my job. You're breathing down my fucking neck! Ever since Mag- ever since her, you don't fucking trust me. I was gone for a second. A second. I hate myself. Loki. I hate myself. I could have found her, if you had let me go. We can find this little girl."
He was going to kill you! I do fucking trust you, don't you ever say that I don't again! I don't blame you for what happened, I never have and I never will. You're the only one that thinks that. You blame yourself. But he was going to kill you today"
"You should have let him."
"What?" Your words felt like a punch to the gut for Loki. You were the ratty girl he met at the fence line of the Huntington Boy's Home, the one who stole menthol cigarettes for him. You, who held him when it all go to be too much, the debilitating panic attacks that had him on his knees as he prayed, begged and pleaded to a God he didn't believe in. You were his salvation. You were the mother of his child.
You swallowed hard, a sudden calm, "You should have let him kill me. Let me go. Let me with her. I deserve to be with her. I'm her mother."
Police deputies flooded the scene, a paramedic turning you away from Loki to examine you. Harsh reality returned as you were escorted to an ambulance, passing Loki who was giving his statement on what had just occurred. The kidnapped girl was found that evening, returned safe to her family before you were even discharged from the hospital.
You were on administrative leave for two weeks. Loki was on sick leave for eight days, watching you sleep, making you food and unraveling every gnarled, knotted thread in your head that threatened to take you from him. He held you as you screamed and cried into his shirt, held back your hair when the guilt became too much, your stomach rolling in waves of vomit and nasuea. You shook in your sleep, Loki always having a steady hand on your back and you tossed and turned.
You were Loki's salvation and he was your prayer.

Tumblr media
I was wondering if I could request Spencer Reid x Male reader who's like a father figure to Spencer and on a case reader and Spencer get caught by the Unsub and reader keeps the Unsub busy so Spencer can get out and get to the team (reader's goal being to protect Spencer from harm even if it meant sacrificing himself in the process) Maybe the Unsub is furious after they realize Spencer is gone and take their anger out on reader. Maybe by the time the team find them reader is alive but just barely? Really want a dad moment between Spencer and Reader at the end, reader comforting Spencer and maybe a hug? @xweirdo101x 💜
You were protective of your team, everybody knew that, but nothing like you were with Spencer.
He was so young, and so sweet, and he deserved the world, a man whom he could look up to as a father figure.
And you became that man.
So when you heard that Spencer had been taking you were furious beyond belief but you kept your composer as you went to confront the unsub.
“Can you tell me more about what horror books you have?” You asked.
“Of course, is there anything specific?”
You smiled, shaking your head.
“No, just looking for new recommendations is all.”
“Well, let me see what I have and I’ll be right back with you.”
You nodded, watching as the unsub left, you jumped over the counter, slowly twisting the handle to the door.
Opening it partially, you reached into your pocket, taking out a small tin and slid it across the room before closing the door and going back to where you were stood.
You pretended to be busy reading a flyer that was left on the counter.
“Well, I would have to recommend these three.”
He set a few books on the counter, turning them around to show you the covers.
You asked some questions about them all before asking him to show you to the horror section.
You kept him busy for as long as possible, which was more than enough time for Spencer to get out of the room with the tools you had given him.
The unsub excused himself and you began to leave the shop, only to be hit around the back of your head.
“I should have known!”
You weren’t given a chance to get back up or fight back.
As he ran Spencer thought that you were right behind him, but as he ran around the corner to the team, he realised you weren’t.
“Where is he?!” Rossi rushed out.
“He.. I thought..”
Spencer was quickly passed over to paramedics and the team rushed to your aid.
The burst into the shop to find you on the floor bleeding heavily, unconscious, and the unsub above you screaming and yelling.
They quickly dealt with the unsub, and you were immediately rushed to hospital before anybody could even get a glance at you.
“Where is he?!” Spencer yelled.
Emily planted a hand on his shoulder, pushing him back down into the SUV.
“He’s okay, he’s fine. He’s going to hospital now.”
Spencer looked at her with tears in his eyes.
“Please..”
She nodded, knowing exactly what the younger agent was waiting for.
They all rushed to the hospital to try get any news of you, but they were told to wait while doctor looked you over.
All Spencer could do was sit in one of the horrible seats, leg bouncing as he tried to keep himself together but he couldn’t.
“(Y/N) will be okay.” Rossi said gently.
“You don’t know that…”
“But we do, he was awake when we found him, and he was immediately rushed here.” JJ said.
He knew they were trying to make him feel better, but it wasn’t working, because he blamed himself.
You put yourself in danger for him.
Put your life on the line to make sure he got out okay, and he blamed himself.
The doctor came over, and they all stood up.
“He’ll be alright, but I’d like to keep him a few days until the bruising and swelling goes down.”
“Can we see him?” Hotch asked.
“Of course yes.”
The doctor led the way to the room but while everybody else went inside, Spencer couldn’t bring himself to see you.
Even despite the team begging him to just go talk to you, see you, he couldn’t.
The entire time you were in the hospital he couldn’t see you.
When you got out, he did what he could to avoid you, but he wasn’t expecting you to come back to work earlier than you were supposed to.
“Reid, a word please.” You said.
He sighed softly, following you up to the conference room.
He didn’t want to, but who was he to tell a superior agent no? He had to right refusing a request from someone above him in rank.
She he let you guide him into the room, closing the doors and blinds before you turned the lights on, turning to look at him.
Immediately he turned his head down.
“It’s not as bad as it looks you know.” You said.
“Does it hurt..?”
You hummed a little, sitting on the table.
“Slightly, but that’s normal.”
You studied him for a moment before sighing heavily.
“Stop blaming yourself Spencer it wasn’t your fault.”
“You did it to help me…”
“And I would do it again, I would much prefer to know that I was hurt because I managed to get you out of a dangerous situation. I would do it again if I had to.”
“You could have died…”
“So could’ve you. Listen to me Spencer, I have absolutely no regrets for getting you out of that situation. You have been through more than you fair share of pain.”
Spencer shook his head.
“You shouldn’t have gotten involved…”
You sighed slightly.
“Spencer I will keep getting involved. I don’t care if it means putting myself in danger to make sure you’re okay.”
He began to tear up a little bit.
“I don’t want you to leave me…”
You knew what he was referring to, when Emily had left, and you stood up.
Walking over, you placed your hand on his shoulder.
“When I agreed to become your mentor I agreed to protect you Spencer, to keep you safe from harm, and that’s what I’m going to do.”
He reached out, pulling you into a hug, and you smiled slightly, hugging him back.
“Please don’t leave me..”
“I’m not going anywhere buddy.”
He sniffled and nodded his head.
You gently pat his back, knowing he found the motion relaxing, and you let him quietly cry into your shoulder.
It wasn’t often he let himself breakdown, but he trusted you, and he knew you cared for him.
“Do you want to come stay with me for a few days Spencer?”
He nodded his head.
“Alright, come on we’ll get everything sorted for you.”
Spencer stood and you wiped his tears with your sleeves.
“You’re alright bud.” You said softly.
He took a deep breath.
“I’m proud of you.”
He smiled a little.
“Thank you..”
Spencer watched you leave a he smiled a little to himself.
If his father was half the man you were maybe he would be a different man, but he was glad to half a father figure like you supporting him

Like an old married couple - Chapter 12
As your head fell forward and your body slumped to the side, the whole team was shocked - including Ducky and Gibbs. But they tried to keep their cool so they would be able to help you as good as they could. Probably that was because of their experiences on the battlefields and as proficient members of the NCIS, but no matter what, you could be very lucky for that.
After your collapse they acted immediately. They climbed out of the chopper, Gibbs ordering Tony to call 911 and Ducky asking Ziva to help him with his medical cases.
While DiNozzo and Ziva did as they were told, Gibbs carried you out of the helicopter with the help of McGee. The two of them laid you down on the ground for Ducky to examine you. But Ducky didn't looked like everything was okay, instead of that he looked very worried so all of them were getting very anxious and tense.
“What's with her?” Gibbs broke the silence as he kneeled beside you. He suspected something bad and became extremely restless, because he had a very bad feeling. “The whole day she was struggling with asthma and it got worse and worse until she fell unconscious” Ducky reported.
Meanwhile he tried to feel your pulse, but found none. You didn't breathe, too. He didn't said a word and only looked up to Gibbs. Almost immediately Gibbs jumped into action doing CPR with the help of Ducky who gave you a Cortisone injection.
Desperately Gibbs fought for your life. Always murmuring to you and begging you “nonono, you can't do this to me. Please, stay with me. Don't go. You can't leave me alone. What should I do without you? You are very tough and you are a fighter, so fight! Fight for me, fight for us!”
Tim, Tony and Ziva could only stand nearby and watch them. They hoped so much that their boss and Ducky, who assisted him, could save you.
They too would be very sad if you wouldn't be there anymore, because you had grown to be friends. But they mused Gibbs would take it the hardest. They never saw him so desperate and show affection so openly.
Surely they bet, whispered and talked about you two, but they didn't thought that you are this close to one another and that your feelings are going this deep. So they watched and prayed. There was nothing more they could do as much as they wanted to.
Gibbs on the other hand was sweating from his efforts, but he wasn't going to let you down and he refused to let the others help. He would fight as hard as he could for you, for him and most of all for your life. Slowly he was getting tired, but he was determined. There was no way he was giving up on you. So he went on and on.
Thanks to heaven eventually the ambulance arrived with the emergency doctor. Ducky and Gibbs took a few steps backwards so they could work. They cared for you as good as they could at the moment and then brought you cautiously into the ambulance.
“You did very well. She has a pulse again. It's very faint, but it's there. And she's breathing again, too. Well done. We are bringing her to the Bethesda Hospital. Does anyone want to come with us?” one of the paramedics asked. “It should be you. You should stay at her side” Ducky said smiling encouragingly to Gibbs laying a hand on his shoulder. Gibbs looked searching into his eyes, then nodded and got into the truck.
Before the doors were closed a very worried bunch of people saw him sitting beside you, taking your hand in his and staring sadly at you. The paramedics connected you to surveillance monitors on which they could see and hear the bumping of your heart. Now you had to be brought to the hospital as soon as possible for further medical treatment.
As the truck arrived at the hospital you were immediately brought into the shock room and a bunch of doctors followed. Gibbs was running beside your stretcher still holding your hand as you were brought in, but one of the medics asked him to leave the room so they could do their work “please, leave the room so we can work. We will try to save her and we will do what we can, I can assure you.”
“No, I will not leave her side. She's too important to me” Gibbs said shaking his head and staying his ground.
“You will not help her, if we can't work as we should do” the medic argumented with him.
“I can't leave her. I promised to stay at her side” Gibbs stating flustered and worried. But he was slowly getting angry, too.
“Please, I beg you. Wait outside and let us help her. I will inform you if anything happens, I promise to you” the doctor said calmly to him.
Gibbs only looked at him, but he was walking out of the room after all. He hoped with all his heart, that all was getting well.
Meanwhile Ducky and the others arrived at the hospital too and sat in the waiting room. They all stood up as Gibbs came out of the shock room and walked to them.
He reported that they will do what they can to help you, but at the moment they can't say anything and they all have to wait for news.
They tried to calm him down, but he was in his own world of worry and grief. From time to time Ducky and Tony tried to talk to him, but there was no response. So they waited in silence and hoped for the best.
After a while a doctor came towards them and walked straight to Gibbs “it was a close call, but she is stable at the moment. Now we have to wait until she wakes up, if she wakes up.”
“Where is she? Can I go to her?” Gibbs asked with a pained look.
“She will be brought into a sick room shortly, then you can visit her. But only you, because she needs absolute peace.”
Gibbs nodded “okay” and walked to the room the medic mentioned.
He ignored his colleagues and was determined to sit by your bed, never to leave your side until you were awake and out of danger.

Gavin's Diary
Gavin Ellis x F!Reader
Fic type: angst
Warnings: police violence, gun violence, coma, organised crime
Summary: Gavin reflects on the mistakes he's made in his diary, as he wonders what the future might hold for him and y/n
Tumblr media
Y/N got fucked up. And it’s my fault. I roped Ray into some bullshit, even though she warned me not to. Ray is okay now, thank god, somehow he managed to go ten full days without spilling his guts – metaphorically and literally. He says he forgives me, but I still feel awful. That’s why I told that cop, I told him everything, and I begged him to give Ray immunity. I didn’t care if I went down for it, I just wanted to get him out of the mess I made. Well, turns out that was just another thing I fucked up, because it got the love of my life hurt.
I stood on the rooftop with Detective Paris, and told him the whole plan. I told him the part I played and I even gave him Pat’s name, and he told me I would be okay. I believed him. Why the fuck did I believe a cop? Staring down into the motel car park, I pointed out the car of the man who’d been sent there to kill me.
“you won’t have to worry about him anymore” were the last words I heard before my balance was thrown off, a firm slap to my back sent me lunging forwards. My life flashed before my eyes, before I realised I had stopped falling. Desperate, clamouring hands had gripped onto any part of me that they could, and pulled me back over the ledge and onto the roof once more. The screams, those awful screams could very well have been the last thing I heard from y/n, as she held my body, which was now limp with fear, kicking and shouting at the cop to get away. She had followed me there. Smart as ever, of course y/n had known that what she had always referred to as a “Gav plan” would fall through. She was always looking out for me. As if saving my life wasn’t enough, she was willing to sacrifice her own for me, shielding my body with her own as gunshots rang out.
All this commotion was enough to get the attention of the other cops in the building, as they dashed upstairs to find Detective Paris pointing a gun at y/n and me. None of the bullets had hit me, I was, somehow, entirely unscathed. I couldn’t say the same for y/n. She lay motionless, one bullet in her thigh, another in her back. Being as incredible as she always was, y/n had a tape recorder in her pocket, it had documented the entire altercation – all while she was creeping up on me and the cop, right until the paramedics later found it on her person. By some miracle, none of the bullets or blood had gotten to it. Needless to say, Detective Paris has been arrested.
The lawyer who had been assigned to Ray’s case has decided to take y/n and I on as clients too, she’s a nice lady, and I can tell she’s invested in the wellbeing of everyone involved. So far, it’s looking good for me on the legal front, there’s physical proof that I cooperated, and that I was assaulted by an officer. It’s looking like all my charges will be dropped if I agree to keep my mouth shut about what happened. I can’t say the same for y/n, though. Legally, obviously she’s fine, but she’s been in a medically induced coma for a week now and I can’t put into words how scared I am for her.
I’ve visited her every day for the last week, just sitting by her side, holding her hand and reading her poetry. I’m not sure if she can hear me, but I hope that if she can it’s brought her some type of comfort. It’s funny, I never really got the poems and books she enjoyed before, but now they’re the only things that comfort me. There’s this one poem by a guy called Thomas Hardy, it’s about his cat dying. Y/n always loved that one, and now I think I do too, I don’t know, I guess it reminds me of her or something.
I suppose that brings me to the present. The hospital called about an hour ago, an said y/n’s finally awake and in a stable condition. I’m writing this from the hospital waiting room, knowing that these may well be the last few moments I can kid myself that y/n and I are still together, I doubt she wants anything to do with me anymore after everything I’ve put her through. Still, y/n being alive and healthy whilst hating me is better than her dying because she loved someone as fucked up as I am.
I think the nurse is calling me now, wish me luck.
A/N i've got an idea for a part 2 to this, so let me know if anyone wants it!

Detours to You - ch 14
Hello all, As promised, here we are with anew chapter and the resolution of the cliffhanger from the previous chapter. Please be ready for a lot of fussing and domestic fluff.
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
“There has been an accident.”
Rowan’s heart raced “What is it Ilias?”
“Aelin and Maya. We are with them now.”
“Where?”
Ilias gave him the location and Rowan dressed quickly like a madman.
He should have pushed harder. Stopped her from driving away. It was his fault. It was his bloody fault.
It did not take long for him to drive to the site, the blue sirens of a fire engine guiding him like a lighthouse.
As soon as he was on site he darted outside and saw the paramedics loading Aelin on the ambulance and another paramedic holding his daughter.
“Maya!” He screamed in desperation.
His daughter extended her arms to him and he took her in his embrace “I am here.”
“Mama hit a deer.”
Rowan stared at Ilias doing his job and pretended not to see the front of the car smashed against the wall of a house. It had been the owner who had alerted the firefighters after he heard the crash.
“It looks like she swerved to avoid the animal.” The captain pointed at the prints on the snow. “Paramedics say she is fine, just a concussion and likely some nasty bruises on her chest. The seatbelt did its job.”
Rowan nodded.
“You know the protocol, we need to take them to the hospital.” One of his paramedics took Maya back from his arms but the girl protested loudly and his heart broke.
He tried to soothe Maya “Baby, I need you to go with the nice paramedic and your mum to the hospital. I am right behind.”
Maya held him tighter almost in panic.
The paramedic tried again to grab the girl “Come with me darling, your mum is asking for you.”
Rowan thanked silently the paramedic when Maya followed him inside.
The ambulance drove away and he turned to Ilias “Was she conscious when you got here?”
The captain nodded and scoffed “yes, that woman is stubborn. She was trying to get herself out of the car.”
“Go with them chief, I got the scene, and a tow on its way. This is an easy MVA.”
While on the road he had called Aelin’s parents and by the time he arrived at the hospital, they were just entering the A&E. He called Rhoe’s name.
“Rowan!” Evalin walked to him with terror etched on her face “What happened?”
“Aelin and Maya were coming to stay with you,” he confessed not hiding his shame. He hadn’t been hard enough in trying to convince her not to leave “We had a fight. I begged her not to leave so late in the evening and with all the snow.”
“Aelin did not listen.” Added Rhoe deadpanned, surprising him.
“A deer cut in front of her and she just swerved to avoid it and crashed.”
Evalin gasped in horror.
“They are fine. One of my captains called me at the scene, Aelin was awake and Maya is just scared. Aelin apparently fought the firefighters trying to get out of the car.”
“I am sorry, she inherited the stubbornness from me.”
“Rhoe!” Added Evalin shocked at her husband jokes.
“Ev, Aelin has been pigheaded since the day she was born.”
Rowan smiled and then walked to the nurses station “Hi Sorscha, any news on Aelin and Maya?”
The woman checked “Med bay 5, the doctor is with her. Maya has been taken to paediatrics for a check up.”
He let Rhoe and Evalin go and talk with Aelin’s doctor while he rushed to Maya. The hospital was a maze and it took him a good ten minutes to reach the ward.
“Maya Galathynius?” he asked with apprehension.
“Any relation?”
“I am the father.”
The nurse let him go and in the distance he saw her on a bed holding elf in her arms. A nurse was sitting with her and was offering her a juice box.
“Dad!” She screamed as soon as she spotted him. In two quick steps Rowan was at her side and enveloped her in his arms. He then looked at the nurse.
“She is fine. We did a lot of checks but she is absolutely fine. Aren’t you Maya?”
Maya snuggled closer to her father “Is mama okay?”
He kissed her head tenderly “as soon as the doctor gives me your discharge papers I will take you to see her. Mum is fine.”
“And the deer?”
“Okay too.”
Ten minutes later a doctor came in the room and explained the checks they had done and all was was clear. Rowan grabbed the papers and lifted Maya back in his arms.
In the A&E, the Galathynius were still with Aelin.
At the open door he walked in and then to the bed “See Maya? Mum is fine.”
Aelin extended her arms and her daughter climbed from parent to parent.
He stood behind, following the scene from his corner until Evalin pulled him closer “Go to her, Rhoe and I will take Maya for a bit. You two need space.”
Rowan stared at Evalin in shock and the woman nodded to him almost in encouragement.
Slowly he moved to the bed and as he got closer he scanned Aelin for any sign of grave injury, but all he found was a plaster on her forehead. She was sitting in bed and as soon as she spotted him, Aelin extended her hand to him.
Rowan sat at her side and accepted her hand “I am sorry,” she whispered.
Rowan was about to protest but she stopped him “no, I need to get this out,” she added quickly “I am sorry. I was mad at you for all the wrong reasons,” she confessed “What I said to you was horrible. I have been so used to be just the two of us. I made all the decisions, I provided for her and when you told me about the classes I felt as if all of a sudden I was not capable anymore to look after her.” Rowan was again ready to talk but Aelin placed a finger on his lips “And I have been so damn wrong to be jealous of you. I had a look at the courses but I could not find anything that I liked. You did and I wished it had been me.” Her hand caressed his face in a gentle touch “Rowan, in a very short time you have proved to be a great dad for her. She loves you so much,” tears started to flow on her cheeks “And I am so bloody stubborn that I put us in danger. And I am sorry,” another caress “I am sorry that I doubted you or made things hard for you. Having you back after all this time, it caught me off guard. I was so scared, Rowan.”
He moved closer, his arms sneaked behind her back and pulled Aelin to his chest “When you left tonight I felt like a failure. I was so eager to be a father that I just went ahead like a bulldozer and did not consult you.” He closed his eyes and his cheek leaned on the top of her head “I want to be worthy of being her dad and of you. I want to be so damn worthy of you both, Aelin.”
They looked at each other and their foreheads touched. Aelin’s hand cupped his cheek and something moved in her chest. Something old. A thread she thought had snapped was now floating in front of her begging to be reconnected to its other half “You are, and Maya and I are so lucky to have you.”
“How is she?”
Rowan chuckled “She already charmed the nurses and managed to get a juice box from them. Docs says she is all okay.”
Aelin shifted and leaned her head on his shoulder while he kept holding her “Can Maya and I come back home?”
“Are you sure?”
She looked up at him and nodded.
Rowan stared in her blue eyes and slowly felt as if all the messy feelings he had been experiencing lately had started to shuffle back in order. Some of the old feelings had started to resurface, but he had to keep them at bay. They had to work first on making sure Maya was okay. They had done enough damage. Their daughter had priority over their feelings.
“We love your house.”
“Okay but,” Aelin tried to protest but this time it was his turn to shush her “Tomorrow you stay at home. The concussion was very light, but you will be sore from the seat belts. Maya is home from school for the holidays and if you need help I am sure your mum will be delighted to look after you both.”
“Yes, chief.”
“I should have never let you go out.”
She kissed his cheek “You tried. I am stubborn, remember?” She then hid her face in his chest “I destroyed your car. I will find a way to pay you back.”
“Nonsense. I am glad you at least took mine. It has a very reinforced front. It’s meant for off track and other extreme road conditions. Nothing a good garage cannot fix and I also have something called insurance.” He thought about what could have happened if she had gone with her car. He kissed her head “Stay with me and that’s your way to pay me back.”
“I think I can do that.”
Aelin looked up and moved closer. So much that they were sharing their breaths. She was about to brush her lips on his when the scream of her name pulled her back.
Evalin and Rhoe entered the room with an excited Maya holding a lollipop.
“Mama!!”
Rowan helped Maya climb on the bed and gave them some space while he went to the grandparents.
Rhoe passed him some papers “Aelin’s discharge papers. I assume you are taking your two girls home?”
He nodded “Good,” added Rhoe, patting his shoulder. Rhoe went back to Aelin and Maya and Rowan remained with Evalin.
“Fight for them Rowan. Do not let an argument ruin everything. They are your family and they love you.” She gave him a hug “Rhoe and I are rooting for the three of you.”
Twenty minutes later he was walking out of the hospital with a still an achey Aelin and Maya in his hand. He was afraid that Maya might refuse to get in the car but the girl allowed him to strap her in. He passed Elf and hoped she was fine until home.
On the passenger seat Aelin was struggling to fasten her seat belt. She was sore and movements were hard. Rowan went to her and fastened the belt “Will you be okay?”
She nodded “You are a really good driver and can deal with these roads better than me.”
He left the car park “Who wants ice cream?”
Both women screamed excited so when he was closer to home he made a stop at his local shop down in the village and bought a few types of ice cream.
Back at home Aelin made to grab her duffel bag but Rowan stopped her. “Wait on the porch while I free the hurricane.”
Aelin sat on the chair outside and stared at her daughter following happily her dad. Taking Maya away even if for just two days would have been a grave mistake and fate had punished her for that. Seeing her daughter happy with her dad was all she needed.
“Let’s go in.”
Rowan pushed Aelin on the bench inside the lobby and she protested when he kneeled to remove her shoes “If you can bend to take them off, be my guest.”
Aelin tried and gritted her teeth but gave up when her body screamed and let Rowan take her boots off.
“Dada, my shoes are off.”
He helped Aelin up “Ok, upstairs, pyjama and ice cream.”
Aelin leaned on him as they climbed to the upper floor and Maya followed. She then disappeared in her room while Rowan accompanied Aelin in hers.
“Do you have a pyjama?”
She shook her head “I have been using your t-shirts, they are cozy.”
Rowan chuckled “Oh so you are the thief.” He went to his room and came back with a big TFD
t-shirt “This should be okay too.”
She tried to remove her clothes but every movement was causing her blinding pain “Can I?”
Aelin blushed. They had seen naked plenty of times but now it was different between them.
Between curses she managed to pull away her hoodie and then the t-shirt and that’s when Rowan gasped. Her chest sported a nasty purple bruise from left to right and a really nasty scratch on her neck that the doctors had covered with a bandage.
“Is your neck okay?”
“Stiff.”
“Okay, we need to keep an eyes for signs of whiplash.”
Maya burst in the room not long after. Elf pyjama on, and soft toys under each arms “I am ready for ice cream!”
Rowan lifted her in bed “Stay here one second while I help you mum get changed.” The girl crawled under the blankets with her friends and waited.
Once ready, Aelin shuffled under the blankets with her daughter and both waited for ice cream.
Rowan came back twenty minutes later all changed too and with a tray with the cups full of ice cream. The really chocolaty ones were for his two girls whereas he had opted for the fruity ones.
“Ae, take these, the doctor prescribed them, should help with pain.”
Obediently Aelin took her meds and then Rowan allowed them to have ice cream in bed.
He sat in the chair he had carried from Maya’s room and while they ate he told them stories of princesses and knights until they both fell asleep.
Rowan tucked both of them in bed and then sent a silent prayer to Mala to always look after them.

Spencer's stares will not cease but he doesn't speak.
"I didn't want to tell you, I knew you would freak. I'm fine you're fine! You will continue to be fine if you get the hell out of Woodsboro!" I rant.
Spencer furrows his eyebrows at me, "You are the one who should be off this case! You are entirely too close to it! I am calling Emily right now."
He tries to pull his phone out of his pocket but I am quick to grasp his hand, "I am doing this with or without the BAU! Would you rather I do it by myself? Trust me, I prefer you out of danger- I mean the whole BAU out of danger. I don't want any more people killed because of me. So please don't make this more difficult for me than it already is!" I say in a mix of begging and anger.
He slides his phone back into his pocket, my hand still grasping his, "I won't let you do this alone."
I am unsure how to feel. I would have died of pure joy if Spencer had said this to me in any other situation but right now, it just makes me more scared. The more I care the more likely Ghostface will kill him.
I clench my fist to suppress any emotion Ghostface is always watching.
"Jill," Sid shouts out concerned.
" Stay away from me," she cries.
The father of the poor girl runs into the house full of worry and is quick to console Jill. I understand why Jill is scared of us she should be I think everyone should be scared of the curse of the Prescott's. Hell, even I am.
The father of the girl leads Jill out of the house and Jill's friend enters the house in a run. I can hear her friend whisper comforts to her but they are probably doing nothing as she sees what her future looks like through the eyes of Sidney.
The cops run back in saying there were no signs of Ghostface outback.
"Call the coroner, the body is upstairs," I relay to the cops and run my hand through my hair practically pulling it out of my skull.
Spencer puts a soothing hand on the small of my back, "We have to talk to the team."
I nod just thankful he isn't trying to push me off the case. We exit the house the cops and Sidney in tow.
The neighbors are shouting wretched things at Sid and me.
"This is all the Prescott's fault."
"You two are just like your mother!"
"They bring death wherever they go!"
"No wonder Y/n's an agent! Must be easy when murder follows you!"
"I thought this was over when they left!"
"You two never should have come back!"
I bite my lip, I want to be angry at their words but it's all true. I feel Spencer's hand move from my back to my waist as he grips my hip protectively.
I look up at him to assure myself he doesn't mean it, it was probably an accident. Instead, I find his eyes glaring daggers into the passerbys shouting harsh words.
"Clear the area," one of the cops shouts.
"You shouldn't have to deal with this," he mumbles.
"It's fine... it's not like what they are saying isn't true," I sigh.
Spencer's head quickly turns to face me and looks at me with serious eyes, "Y/n none of this is your fault."
"Sure," I say unconvincingly making Spencer sigh.
Sidney sees Jill off to the paramedic and I watch them closely ignoring my own surroundings. I just need to protect my family, and my team, I don't have time to worry about myself.
Spencer's hand touches my cheek and I swear I jump five feet in the air.
"Y/N," he keeps saying my first name instead of my last. It gives me butterflies each time the way he says my name with such care. I am totally overthinking it though he is only calling me by my first name because he doesn't know if he should call me Prescott now or continue with the fake one. I don't have time for these trivial thoughts. Spencer is making things so much more difficult. I can't focus around him.
As if he notices my mind drifting he repeats my name once again and my eyes meet his I could get lost in his eyes forever.
"This is not your fault, these people should not blame you. I would yell at them right now if I didn't think you would use it as an opportunity to run off and try to solve the case on your own." He states seriously, he wants to be sure I believe him.
I smirk, "You know me too well, but don't try to pretend you wouldn't do the same in my situation."
"Hiding things from the team is what got me into prison in the first place, we are better as a unit." His eyes darken and I am shocked he would bring up his time in prison to me without me forcing it out of him.
I shake my head desperately, "That wasn't your fault! It was entirely Cat's fault she's insane!"
"I shouldn't have given her the ammunition," he frowns.
"You were doing what you thought was right for your family, you should not feel guilty! It's what makes you, you, and I wouldn't want you to be anyone else." I look determinedly into his eyes.
I swear I see him flush but it's probably just all the police lights.
"Then why don't you want me to help," he smiles at me.
I am taken aback, "what does that have anything?"
"You don't want me to be anyone else? You don't want me to stop doing what's right? Helping you is what's right Y/n," he steps closer with each sentence.
I am so flustered I swear my body is on fire. I feel the urge to fan myself with my hand to help extinguish the flames. Luckily the moment is broken as Prentiss jumps out of the van with the rest of the team.
"So much for getting some rest at the hotel before the case," Luke mumbles out.
Prentiss looks like she is in full-blown mama bear mode, "What the hell happened?"
Dewey follows close behind, "I was just about to ask my officers that as well."
They seem to both already know each other they must have been going over the case together at the precinct. I am glad Dewey isn't as closed off as Sid is.
The local officers that were on the scene started relaying how they tried to cut him off in the backyard but missed him and compared him to a ghost.
I sigh and clench my fist that's the stuff I bet Ghostface would love to hear to be compared to the supernatural.
One of the officers turned to me with suspicion, "How did you manage to get the jump on him Y/n?"
"This isn't my first rodeo, "I growl.
He puts his hands up in defense, "Hey all I am saying is it's weird that you have survived three Ghostface killings and willingly come back here when the murders start again."
I am clenching my fists so tightly that I think all the bones in my hands may break. I can't believe this is what the people I've known my whole life think of me. I am trying to take a deep breath, I am trying to remain calm.
The thing I wasn't expecting was Spencer stepping in front of me and barely remaining calm and not remaining civil at all.
"You can't speak to a federal agent here to save your ass like that," he states his tone so low it sends chills down my spine. My eyes widened did Reid just swear and not only that did he swear on my behalf?
Prentiss turns to Spencer her face full of professionalism but eyes full of fury, "Reid! Van now!"
Dewey looks at his men as well, "You two get outta here as well."
"Yes sir," they look to Dewey with respect which is nice but also felt odd seeing it. He didn't get much of that when Ghostface first arrived but he just started being a cop then, and now he's the boss. I'm proud of him and I won't let Ghostface take him away.
I see the coroner roll out the poor teen girl's body and breathe in deeply. This won't happen again I won't let it. I don't want to be powerless again... but I am worried that my feelings for Spencer make me powerless. My feelings for him are just another weakness Ghostface can use against me but I don't know how to stop them.

Prompt 24: Blood
In which Eliot realizes he is actually bothered by blood... when it belongs to someone he loves. (Under the cut)
Eliot Spencer had had blood on his hands many times before. Sometimes it was his and sometimes it wasn't. It had been a long time since the sight of blood had bothered him, but this was different. This was Hardison's blood.
Eliot's stomach lurched as more blood oozed between his fingers as he pressed more pressure on the stab wound on Hardison's stomach.
Hardison let out a cry of pain and clasped one hand over his mouth.
"It's okay Hardison." Eliot said. "Just stay with me. The others are on their way. We're gonna get you to a hospital, okay. Just hold on."
Hardison whimpered and clutched at Eliot's arm.
"Eliot, we called an ambulance, it's on its way." He heard Sophie's voice over the comms. "We're almost there too."
Eliot felt Hardison's grip on his arm loosen, his eyes drooped closed.
"Hey, stay with me, Hardison!" Eliot's chest grew tight with panic. "Damnit Hardison! Stay with me!" His voice shook.
Hardison didn't respond.
"Come on, open your eyes! Say something, anything! Just stay with me!" Eliot begged.
Eliot felt more blood seep between his fingers and looked down at the puddle that was forming on the pavement.
That's too much! Eliot thought. Too much blood!
Finally, Eliot heard the distant wailing of sirens getting closer, and a minute later an ambulance was pulling into the parking lot. Two paramedics jumped out, grabbed the stretcher and rushed over.
"We'll take it from here." One of them said, pulling Eliot away.
"Eliot!"
He watched helplessly as they lifted Hardison onto the stretcher and loaded him into the back of the ambulance. Cold dread washed over him as the ambulance sped away, leaving him completely alone, covered in his best friend's blood.
Eliot spun around when he heard Parker's voice behind him and saw Sophie, Nate and Parker rushing towards him.
"Eliot, where is he?" Parker demanded.
Eliot opened his mouth trying to form an explanation, but his throat felt all dried up and no words came out. He swallowed hard and tried again.
"Paramedics took him." Is all Eliot managed to say.
He took a few deep breaths then said "We gotta get to the hospital."
Eliot started for the van, but Nate put out a hand to stop him.
"You go home." Nate said firmly. "Get cleaned up. We'll go to the hospital and let you know as soon as there's any updates."
"No." Eliot argued. "No. I have to--"
"Eliot!" Nate cut him off. "You're covered in blood. Go home. We'll make sure Hardison is okay."
Eliot gave in. He felt too empty inside to put up a real fight.
"I'll take you home." Sophie offered, seeing how lost Eliot looked. She had never seen him this shaken up before and it made her wonder just how bad it had been.
"Come on." Sophie said and laid a hand on Eliot's shoulder. "We can meet them at the hospital as soon as you get cleaned up."
***
Eliot felt a twisting pain in his stomach at the sight of the red stain soaking his shirt and covering his hands.
It's just blood. Eliot tried to tell himself.
It's Hardison's blood! His mind screamed back.
Eliot pulled his shirt off and tossed it in the trash can. Then look at his hands covered in blood. They trembled uncontrollably as he held them under the faucet and scrubbed. The blood wasn't coming off. Eliot scrubbed more than added some soap. Finally. the last of the blood was gone from his hands.
Eliot clutched the edge of the sink and bowed his head.
How did I let this happen?
He looked up when he heard Sophie knock on the bathroom door.
"Eliot, Nate just called." She said.
Eliot flung the door open so fast it swung back and hit the wall.
Sophie jumped a little.
"Hardison's out of surgery." She said, "The doctor's said he's responding well to the blood transfusion. They think he's gonna be okay."
Eliot nearly collapsed with relief.
"He's still unconscious from the anesthesia, but he'll probably wake up soon." Sophie added.
***
Eliot sat in the chair next to Hardison's bed, flipping absentmindedly through the pages of his book as he waited for Hardison to wake up. He looked up hopefully when he heard Hardison stirring in the bed. He waited a minute, hoping Hardison would wake up, but nothing happened.
Eliot closed his book and set it aside. He slouched down in the chair with a sigh and waited some more.
After a few minutes Hardison began to stir in his sleep more, then he reached his hand up and grabbed at the oxygen tube under his nose. Eliot stood up quickly and grabbed Hardison's hand and gently pulled it away.
"Leave that alone." Eliot said softly.
He scooched his chair closer to the bed with one hand and sat back down, still holding Hardison's hand in his other.
"Eliot...?" Hardison mumbled.
"I'm right here." Eliot said soothingly.
Hardison slowly opened his eyes and turned to look at Eliot.
"What happened?" He asked, drowsily.
"You don't remember?"
Hardison shook his head.
"A couple of the mark’s goons attacked you. They uh... they stabbed you. I tried to get to you sooner, but..." Eliot trailed off. "Hardison, I'm really sorry." He finally finished.
Hardison shook his head.
"Don't be." He mumbled. "Where’re the others?"
Eliot was glad for the change of subject. He didn't really want to think about what had happened anymore.
"Parker went to get coffee and donuts, she should be back any minute. Nate and Sophie had to wrap up the con. He thought the goons might come back to try and finish the job if we didn't take them down soon." Eliot explained.
It wasn't long after that that Parker came back with a box of donuts and a couple of coffees. Her face lit up when she saw that Hardison was awake. She rushed over and set the food down on the small table beside the bed before sitting down on the edge of the bed next to Hardison.
"How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Horrible." Hardison mumbled.
Hardison had a habit of over exaggerating the extent of his injuries, but this time Eliot knew there was no exaggeration.
"Well, you're gonna be okay, thanks to Eliot." Parker said.
No. Eliot thought. It's my fault he's here in the first place. If I had just gotten to him a little faster, I could have stopped this.
He knew the others didn't see it that way, but nothing they could say would change his mind. He had been too slow, and it nearly got Hardison killed.
"I'll be back in a minute." Eliot said, standing up from his chair.
As soon as he was out in the hallway he leaned against the wall and slid slowly to the ground. He leaned his head back and took a shaky breath. A tear slipped down his face as all his emotions finally caught up with him, the fear, the relief, the guilt. It all spilled over.

A love lost
Chan x Afab!Reader
Tumblr media
Genre: Pure Angst
Warnings: crying somewhat graphic depictions of death/ drowning attempted su!c!d3 (not proofread probably really bad)
Chan didn’t know what to do. He was so lucky to have the boys, they were the only reason he had eaten since..the accident. He still hasn’t processed it. He’s never going to get to hold you again, never going to get to kiss you. Your gone. He still texts you every day
Chan: Hey my love, When will you be back? The boys try to tell me you’re gone but they just don’t understand.. Y/n your coming back to me right? You promised me to never leave. You have to come back
You never reply.
He saw it happen, the whole thing. He saw your beautiful smile fade as the tide sucked you in. He stood there in shock as Felix dove into the ocean to try and save you, he was to late. Chan raced to grab you from Felix’s arms and into his own carrying your lifeless body to shore. “Baby? Baby talk to me please, tell me you’re ok” Chan sobbed as Seungmin rushed to dial 911 explaining the situation as best as he could. Chan sat on the sandy beach with you in his arms until the paramedics came begging you to be ok and to wake up. You never did. He refused to let them have you saying “No! she’s ok she’s just tired she’s sleeping leave her alone!” He even tried to hit one of the paramedics “Back off leave my girlfriend alone!” He desperately tried to fight them off clinging onto the hope you were gonna be ok until Changbin pulled him away “Chan calm down please they’re trying to help her!!” Changbin sobbed “No! No! She’s ok! Please! Let me go!” Chan struggled to get out of Changbin’s grip “Hyung I can’t. I’m sorry” he sobs as he pulls Chan to the car.
The paramedics arent able to do anything “I’m sorry but there’s nothing more we can do, she’s gone” they tell Felix who stayed with you “o-oh ok” he nods trying to contain himself. He leaves the hospital and drives back to the dorms as soon as he opens the door he’s met with a frantic Chan
“Felix! Is she ok? Tell me she is!” Felix doesn’t answer he just looks at Chan and the others and breaks down. Chan doesn’t want to believe it. He can’t. “F-Felix?” He steps closer “She’s ok right? She’s coming home soon?” Felix looks at him “Channie hyung im so sorry but..” Chan tears up “But what Felix..” Minho steps forward “Chan..I don’t think she’s coming back.. I think she’s gone” No No this can’t happen “Your lying.. STOP LYING TO ME MINHO!!” Felix stands up “H-He’s isn’t hyung she’s really gone” Chan just stares at Felix shaking his head frantically before collapsing onto Seungmin “She can’t be gone”
*two weeks later*
Today is your funeral. Chan still doesn’t want to believe your gone but seeing you laying in the casket he has to. His attempt to join you in the ocean failed. Your parents don’t blame him. They should. He’s an amazing swimmer. But he sat there. He sat there and let you drown.
He approaches your casket “Hey baby, you look beautiful as always” he starts to sob “I’m so sorry y/n I should have saved you..but I sat there. I let you..die” He caresses your cheek “you promised to never leave me.. why are you leaving me then? You know.. I was gonna propose to you. Start a family and marry you. You’re the love of my life, always will be” He reaches into his pocket to pull out a small velvet box “Here, I want you to have it. To show you I’ll always love you. I know you hated seeing me cry. I’ll keep going, I’ll go to that water fall you always wanted to see. I’ll do everything you wanted to do, I’ll keep living and smiling because I know you want me to” He kisses your forehead one last time and puts the ring on your finger as your parents approach “If she was to marry one man, I would have wanted it to be you Christopher. You were so good to her.” Your mother says “Your doing well son. Not everyone handles a love lost this well” your father says Chan just nods “You’ll find someone else, I’m sure it’s what she would have wanted” your mother says Chan shakes his head “I wont be able to find another soulmate, your daughter was the one for me, she can’t be replaced, I’ll live on with her in my heart and only her, everything I do with for her” He turns to your body “Goodbye my beautiful angel”
And he does, he does everything you wanted to do together with you in his heart wearing the ring you had given him that day.

Minor Trio‘s kid getting hit by a car
Don't ask me how but I thought I missed out this request. I wanted to put the link in my Masterlist and realized that I've already written the scenario. Now I have two versions. I am amazed by my stupidity.
⚠️RFA who’s child get’s hit by a car ( Happy End ) -> Minor Trio HERE
Mention of blood, hospitals, injury
Tumblr media
Saeran
,,Little angel, little angel, fly!“ you sang with Saeran.
Both of you were holding your oldest child in each hand, ready to pick him up so that he had the feeling that he was flying.
Once he was over, the little girl you had was ready to fly just as high as her brother.
,,Don’t run too far, okay?“ you asked your son.
He agreed, but he didn’t understand that ,,too far“ meant also to not cross the street.
You weren’t looking, neither was he. It was the second both of you looked at your daughter to pick her up.
In that very second you could hear a car honking, people screaming, and an impact.
Horrendous.
The only word that you could use to describe the scenario.
Your screams were the loudest.
You picked up your daughter, perhaps a way of protecting her too, before you ran to the place of incident.
You screamed, you begged, you prayed, you cried, shaking your head trying to stop the bleeding and talking to your son.
And then everything happened quickly.
Saeran pulled you away from the bloody body because you were a hindrance to the paramedics
He held you and your daughter and sobbed silently so that he could be the strong one.
The only thing you didn’t know, however, was that he was giving him the fault.
The universe was making him pay.
His payment luckily didn’t seem to come yet since your son woke up.
A few scratches, but nothing severe.
,,Maybe we weren’t punished. Maybe an angel was by our side. Look, every bad incident leads to something better…we are blessed,“ you whispered as soon as your children were sleeping safely by your side.
Jihyun
Everyone would expect cars to stop at a red light.
That’s why not everyone looked as soon as they were allowed to cross the street.
Although, you were one of the people who still stopped and checked.
And Jihyun - for the sake of peace in your household - did too and so was Lucy.
However, she didn’t.
Usually this would have led to a discussion. However, this time something even worse happened.
Jihyun stood behind his daughter, you next to him.
You were just calling Lucy, ready to scold her. You were even about to follow her. However, you saw the racing car that didn’t have time to stop.
And before you could pull your child back, your eyes witnessed an incident.
The screams of a mother are the worst, so they say.
Jihyun knew what it meant because your screams were the worst.
But unlike him, you acted.
You ordered someone to call an ambulance, you screamed at the driver and told him that you were going to kill him, and you tried to help Lucy stay awake.
And Jihyun could only observe the scenario.
What did he do?
Why did the people around him have to be in so much pain?
Why did they have to fight for their happiness?
As if he blinked, he found himself next to you in front of the operating room.
You were in your bloody clothes and he noticed that he was crying.
,,Everything will be alright,“ you whispered, more to yourself than to him.
,,Everything will be alright,“ he followed you.
But everything would be alright, you just had to find out…
Vanderwood
,,Let them play,“ he tried to calm you down.
You were scolding your children that they shouldn’t push each other, but somehow your scolding didn’t help at all.
Instead, the youngest child pushed her big sister again.
Unfortunately she fell - on the street.
The screeching sounds of the car were still in your ear.
You could still hear it.
And the sight was imprinted in your brain.
A young woman stepped out of the car, crying at the sight while you were rushing to your daughter.
,,No no no no no,“ you groaned.
,,Mommy,“ she called you, weakly.
,, I’m here,“ you whispered, trembling hands trying to dial the number to call an ambulance.
,,I‘m here, I‘m staying here,“ you said.
Someone took your phone out of your hands and dialed the number before it was handed back to you.
,,Tell them everything, I will give her first aid. We’ve learned it, it’s okay. Stay calm for her,“ Vanderwood told you. So you tried.
He managed to keep her awake.
Somehow he measured her pulse and managed to bandage her leg that apparently hurt.
He did all this while you stayed on the phone with the ambulance, who later on took her.
A concussion and a broken leg.
Your other child didn’t get scolded, but was explained to why she did something really bad.
In the end, everyone was alright and sorry.
