Sika Intraplast Z-HV is a powdered plasticizer, ready to use. The product does not cause shrinkage and is used to seal gaps, improve fluidity, and extend the working time.
ADVANTAGES Intraplast® Z HV is an expansive shrinkage-compensating powder and pumping aid used to produce a range of mortars from fluid to thick, soil anchors, and fill mortars. Helps improve fluidity and extend working time, achieving high compressive strength even with high expansion requirements. Protects prestressing cables against corrosion, enhances bonding due to its viscous properties. The product has the ability to expand in volume when wet and protect rock anchor bolts from corrosion. Intraplast® Z HV is both durable and effective in sealing all gaps. It has a final expansion capability of up to 10% if the mixture is designed correctly. Non-toxic and non-flammable. APPLICATION Sika Intraplast Z-HV is applied in the construction industry as: Fluid mortar: The product helps optimize the fluidity and expansion capability of the fluid mortar. Filling mortar: Sika Intraplast Z-HV is used to fill voids and gaps. Soil and rock anchoring: Sika Intraplast Z-HV helps enhance bonding strength and stability, protecting anchors and rocks from corrosion during construction. FEATURES Intraplast® Z HV increases the volume and fluidity of the cement mixture by creating small air bubbles in the wet mixture without causing segregation. The product helps reduce water separation in the mixture, preventing early setting and simultaneously allowing for a reduction in water usage. Depending on the mixing ratio, the product can be adjusted from a sprayable liquid mortar to a thick mortar. PREPARATION
Along the crack, we drill holes approximately 6 mm apart, with a distance of 300 mm between two drilled holes. Ensure the holes are deep enough to insert the metal tube approximately 20 mm. •Insert the metal tube into the holes and secure them with Sika®-102 barrier material. Clean the concrete surface around the crack using a wire brush or sandpaper. •Wipe the surface clean with a clean cloth to remove adhering dust and easily flaking substances. •Use a trowel or spatula to seal the surface that has been cleaned with Sika®-102. PUMP CRACKS When Sika®-102 has been cured, begin the process of pumping cement grout. Attach the pump hose to the first tube on one side or the lowest point of the crack and start pumping the cement grout. Continue pumping until the cement grout seeps out from the next tube. Then, seal the pumped tube and repeat this process until all the tubes are filled with mortar. Cement mortar mixing formula: 50 kg of cement, 500 g of Sika® Intraplast® Z-HV, 19 liters of water (water/cement ratio). When Sika®-102 has cured, we can pump the cement mortar. Starting from one side or the lowest position of the crack, attach the pump hose to the first tube and pump the cement grout into the crack until the cement grout seeps out of the adjacent tube. Then, seal the recently pumped tube and continue this process until all the tubes are filled.
To prepare a batch of cement mortar, combine 50 kg of cement with 500 g of Sika® Intraplast® Z-HV and add 19 liters of water, maintaining a water-to-cement ratio of 0.38.Prepare a batch of cement: with 50kg of cement combined with 500g of Sika® Intraplast® Z-HV and add 19 liters of water (Water / Cement = 0.38). (mixing ratio: For mortar: 1.0 – 1.2% by weight of cement. Used for oil paste: 0.4 – 0.8% by weight of cement.).
Start with the first pump, connect it sequentially to the other pumps, and check the fill level of each pump to see if it is full.After completing the last pipe, check along the cracks again.
