JDBJDBDKN iâm new and in the nicest way possible, your fixâs are so TASTY I WANT TO EAT THEM SO BAD.
Not the same anon who requested the Jing Yuanâs child fics but I really loved them sm, could I get a continuation of that AU on more of readerâs divination abilities and antics and come with it? đđ
A/N: YOU'RE TOO KIND STOP INFOAF, I'M GLAD YOU LIKE MY FICS :D MORE DIVINER READER COMING RIGHT UP >:)
Genre/Trope: Platonic + Mainly just more HCs on reader and their antics in the divination commission with Fu Xuan (Auntie Fu Xuan anyone?)
Format: Head Cannons + Mini Scenarios
Warnings: None
Extra: More Fu Xuan in this then Jing Yuan as we're talking about readers job lol // Not fully proofread, just rambles of this AU // Reader is a teen in this // Original Jing Yuans child fic here
I feel like how you wanting to be a diviner was when Fu Xuan had to babysit you once when Jing Yuan was busy. During this time she decided to take you to work and show you the magic future things. This sparked you, you came home and told Jing Yuan you wanted to be like Auntie Fu Xuan. He was happy you took an interest but uh *ahem* (Fu Xuan won that day)
On the rare days you do decide to be nice and not trick whoever your doing a divination for, I feel if you don't laugh or do a dramatic wince and you're serious about it. They STILL think you're pretending, thinking something really bad is going to happen.
To be honest, no matter what you do they'll think you're pretending until you're older I feel. If you wince genuinely or not they'll think you're joking as well.
[Name]: Bro your house is gonna get robbed⊠Random: Yeah right, what's actually going to happen? [Name]: I'M SERIOUS, YOU'RE GONNA BE HOMELESS :fearful: Random: So I'm tripping on a pebble tomorrow?
You usually have lunch with Fu Xuan, she'll probably take you somewhere peaceful where she'll eat lunch by your side...however, if word got to her that you messed with people again during the job? Expect a big lecture during your lunch break.
Qingque loves you, like. She loves your antics so much. She loves hearing them and if she manages to convince you to slack off with her, better pray Fu Xuan doesn't catch the both of you.
As much as Fu Xuan does lecture you, she cares a l o t for you. If anyone tells her you're in trouble with enemies, best believe the person who's the cause of it will be seeing a VERY angry Fu Xuan.
The two of you gossip ONLY if the both of you agree whoever youse just did a divination for was an ass. And Fu Xuan can be s a s s y.
When you were younger you tried to make some food with the things you found in your kitchen and gave it to both Fu Xuan and Jing Yuan for their lunch at work. Sadly...as a child you weren't exactly a world class chef...but they both still ate it to keep you happy.
Fu Xuan most definitely favours you over the other diviners she works with. It's so clear to the others with how she lectures others more harsher then she does you. Also your punishment for misbehaviour or slacking is always so little. But can they blame her? You're her nibling! (GN! term of nephew/niece I think)
You horribly drew her once as a gift when you were like 6 and it's been on her fridge ever since.
I did add a Jing Yuan header first, but after writing this I realised this is more of a reader and Fu Xuan centered thing so changed it lol. Fu Xuan needs more content I feel, she's so interesting!! My next requests are all fics/mini scenarios so I'll get on those as soon as I can >:D
Also! Recently made an art blog for my ocs and other things, feel free to give it a follow if you want :>>

SERVAL
âAnd this soâ (hic) is dedicated to my wonderful, beautiful, adorable, most bestest and kindest girlfriend everââ
When Serval gets drunk, she sings. But the way she sings is less in a badass way and more in a âshe took too many shotsâ kinda way, because your girlfriend was currently doing drunk karaoke at the bar with everyone cheering and shouting. Her body going through a whole workout plan as she was putting her heart and soul into this performance.
You knew you should stop her before she got hurt, but how could you when she was just so cute and screaming her love for you. âYeahhhhh everyone scream for my girlfriend! Sheâs the best!â Serval would yell, accidentally causing the mic to screech but not caring because even in her less sober state, she still loved you unconditionally.
âOh AeonsâŠâ you laughed into your hand and blushed when the rockstar winked in your direction. Yelling the lyrics of some dumb love song while swaying back and forth with the mic. âYouâre doing great, sweetie!âÂ
Serval smiled broadly at your shout and raised her arms in the air, feeling like the luckiest woman in the world.Â
âWooooo!â
Oh. Oh noâŠ
And then Serval body slammed onto a table. A loud crash echoed throughout the bar as everyone stopped shouting while you ran over to check if she was okay.Â
âServal? Serval!âÂ
Your girlfriend swayed for a bit as she slowly looked up at you in a daze. Her body was still getting used to the crash and the alcohol, but even then, she looked up at you and gave you a lopsided grin.
âOhâŠyouâre pretty. But I have a girlfriend.â she murmured, giggling to herself while gently pushing your hand away.
âI am your girlfriend, silly.â You chuckle, gently lifting her up and brushing her hair back to make sure she wasnât bruised. âAre you okay, baby?âÂ
Drunk Serval paused, an even deeper blush growing on her face as she didnât respond.Â
ââŠOh.â
She seemed in awe at how she actually had a girlfriend, and you giggled before lifting her up to her feet. âCome on silly, letâs get you home. You drank too much.â
When you kissed her cheek, Serval blushed even more and looked at you with wide eyes. Seemingly falling in love with you all over againâŠ
STELLE
âBabyâŠâ
Stelle would cling to you needily and look up at you with big puppy dog-like eyes. Whimpering as she begged you to let her do the one thing she loved doing the most.
Dumpster diving.
âNo Stelle, you just took a shower.â You hummed, tapping your girlfriendâs cheek and taking another sip of alcohol. âBesides, I let you dumpster dive earlier today. You emptied out three whole trash cans before we came out here.â
Stelle whined and looked over at the dumpster outside the bar. After having way too many sips of alcohol with you, Stelle began feeling the side effects as every dumpster and trash can she saw looked like a playground. That, and she started getting more and more clingy with you, wrapping her arms around your waist and nuzzling into your neck by the bar.Â
âPleaseâŠâ she mumbled, practically smothering her body against you like a giant teddy bear. âI wantâŠnnhâŠwanna jump inâŠâ
Her speech was getting a little slurred and you sighed as you realized your precious Stelle was getting drunk, meaning youâd have to leave sooner or later anyways.Â
ââŠOne. Dumpster.â You say with a sigh.Â
Stelleâs eyes lit up and she immediately started kissing your cheek. Usually Stelle would be too shy to do PDA with you in crowded areas, but she was just too drunk and too happy to care. âThank you!â She mumbled against your cheek, giving it an affectionate little nibble before running off to dive headfirst into the trash.
You chuckled at the sight and made sure to keep watch so she wouldnât hurt herself. Your girlfriend having a blast as she stumbles around in the dumpster pulling out various items she found interesting.Â
After a few minutes of dumpster diving, your girlfriend tumbled out of the bin with trash sticking to her hair. âOof!â Despite that however, she excitedly ran up to you and hugged you. âBaby look, look. I found a new blenderâŠ!â
You tried to keep your laughter in as she held up a blender that was not only broken, but was missing its blades. You didnât have the heart to tell her it was useless, so you just patted her head and praised her. âGood job, baby. You did so well.â
She smiled and closed her eyes, nuzzling you as the effects of alcohol started taking over again and making her clingy. âCan we go home now? I want to add this to my collectionâŠâ
Before you could even respond, Stelle ends up slumping against your arms and sleepily kissing your neck. Heat building up in your face as Stelle was never this affectionate with you in publicâŠ
âPfft, okay.â You chuckle, patting your girlfriend on the head, âLet's go home.âÂ
TINGYUN
âOff! Back off!â
Tingyun hissed at yet another stray cat while her tail was raised high in the air. The most unholiest of feral fox sounds emitting from your girlfriend as she screamed at any animal that even so much as dared look at you.Â
âTingyun dear, I think thatâs enough soju for nowâŠâ you gently pulled the glass away from her and watched as she glared holes into the poor dog passing by on the street. Her teeth poked out from between her lips like she was getting ready to attack, nails gripping the hardwood table before you calmed her down with a hug.Â
âTingyun, Iâm right here.â you hummed into her ear, planting a comforting kiss on her cheek. âIâm not in any danger.âÂ
âYes, because I am protecting youâŠ!â Tingyun slurred, her tail swaying back and forth before standing upright at the sight of a bird. âAway! Shoo! Shoo!âÂ
Tingyun was definitely one of the most unique types of drunks youâd ever have the pleasure of seeing, as she would get awfully protective of you whenever there were animals present. It was like the foxian side of her had taken over once alcohol entered her system, and while it was entertaining, you did worry for Tingyunâs reputationâŠ
âPfft, alright dear. Thank you for protecting me from the scary bird,â you cupped her face and pulled her towards you, giggling at the sight of her scrunched up and pouty face. âYouâre so brave. I am just simply awestruck at what an amazing girlfriend you are.â
You kiss the top of her nose and Tingyunâs face starts going pink, her tail slowly wagging in praise as she stares lovingly at your eyes.Â
âI love youâŠâ she purrs out, her drunk-dazed eyes going half lidded like a cat.Â
âI love you too.â You giggle, cupping her face as you lean in to kiss her fully this time. Closing your eyes and ready to claim her lips whenâ
HISSSSS
Not again!Â
You grabbed Tingyunâs face before she could get up and pulled her down towards you. âOh no you donât, we are going home.â You quickly kiss her on the lips and distract her long enough to drag her away from the bar. Your foxian girlfriend whining and trying her best to squirm out of your grasp but to no avail.
âLet me go! Baby, let me go!âÂ
She nibbled on your arm as you dragged her away and you sighed, patting her fluffy ears while taking her drunk ass all the way home.Â
FU XUAN
âYeah thatâs right, sheâs (hic) mineâŠâ
Fu Xuan was currently sitting on your lap and glaring at everyone like a feisty kitty who wouldnât let go of a toy. She had her brows furrowed and tensed in an angry way while she gripped your shoulders to show ownership, her body swaying in a way that indicated to you that your girlfriend was getting drunk.
âOh, Fu XuanâŠâ you chuckled, feeling her forehead to see if she was getting sweaty. âAre you getting tipsy?â
âOf course not. Iâm (hic) perfectly sober, my love.â
You raised a brow and tried to hide the smirk growing on your face. My love? Since when did Fu Xuan get so affectionate? It was almost like she was lying straight to your faceâŠ
âAre you?â You teased, holding her tightly by the waist. âYouâre hiccuping, little bunnyâŠâ
âI just need more water!â She quickly spat out, before taking another shot of soju which she thought was water. âNngh! Why is water so bitter?â
âThatâs soju, love.â You chuckled, pulling the shot glass away from her hand. âI think youâve had enough to drink, why donât we go home?â You pat Fu Xuanâs head and giggle when she starts to pout. âI donât want to moveâŠâ she mumbles, plopping her head into your boobs. âDarling feels goodâŠâ
Your heart speeds up when she says this and you canât help but hold in a squeal. How cute, perhaps drunk Fu Xuan can stay for a little while longerâ
No, you shouldnât. As her girlfriend, the right thing to do is to take her home and take care of her. You sigh and gently hoist her up in your arms, Fu Xuan panicking for a moment as she wraps her legs around your waist.Â
âWhaâ darling the floor is fallingââ
âIâm just standing up.â
She immediately clings to your neck and holds on to you tightly, slowly closing her eyes as she feels herself getting nauseous. âDonât drop me. You hear?â
âYes darling, I hear.â You chuckle, keeping your arms firmly under her thighs while you begin carrying her out of the bar. âTry not to look up too much, we donât want you getting dizzy and throwing up on my back.â
Fu Xuan gives you a hissy glare and just blushes before hugging you close. âI wonât throw upâŠI never throw upâŠâÂ
She begins grumbling to herself and you smile at the sight. Patting the back of her head while the two of you head home together.Â
ASTA
âAwe Peppy youâre so cute! Whoâs a good boy? Oh whoâs my good boy?âÂ
Asta cooed and drunkenly squished your cheeks together while calling you Peppy and patting your head. You, her girlfriend. Her loving and doting girlfriend who was very much human and very much not a dog.Â
âAstaââ you chuckled, âIâm not Peppy.â
âMy Peppy is so big and strongâŠ!â Asta grinned, rubbing your cheeks together while peppering your face in sweet, gentle kisses. âThe sweetest and cutest canine ever oh yes you areâŠâ
You rolled your eyes at how silly your girlfriend was being and just went along with it. Deciding to tease her a bit by playing along with her little charade.
âWoof.â
Asta squealed and kissed your face even more, taking another swig of her alcoholic beverage while scratching underneath your chin. âOhhh if only your other mommy could see you nowâŠâ Asta sighed, unaware that her girlfriend was literally right there. âHm, perhaps I should send her a video.â
Asta whipped out her phone and began recording you while still believing you were Peppy. âOkay Peppy! Letâs send mommy a little video to show her how cute you are being. Come on, say hi to mommy!â
ââŠWoof.â
You couldnât help but smile when Asta got so excited, patting your head in praise while going âgood boyâŠ!â Into the camera. Oh how embarrassed she will be once she finds the video in her camera roll the next morning, you couldnât wait.
After a few more minutes of playing the little dog shenanigans with your girlfriend, you finally decided that it was getting late and Asta definitely needed to head back to bed.Â
âSigh, okay Asta. I think itâs time we head back home, hm?â You chuckle, finally breaking out of your Peppy act charade. âYouâve had quite a few drinks alreadyâŠâ
Asta tilted her head when she saw you getting up to leave, and her mind instantly went to Peppy once more.
âOh? Does Peppy want to go home now?â Asta hums, smiling and taking your hand. âDonât forget your leash!âÂ
Wait, what?
And then out of nowhere she whips out a leash and clips the collar to your neck, surprising you as you had no idea that Asta carried around a leash at all times.Â
âCome on boy! Letâs go home to mommy!â
She gave the leash a little tug and you sighed with no choice but to follow her. Asta skipping happily beside you with you chuckling beside her in return.Â
BRONYA
ââŠâ
You were getting worried for your girlfriend as she had been staring at the wall in silence for the past six or so minutes. No pressure, Bronya was usually quiet when invited to bars like this one, but she never was this quiet and it was starting to worry you a little.
ââŠBronya?â
You poke her cheek.
âBronya?â
She blinks and slowly turns to you, eyes wide like a cat who got into some catnip as she seemed to be lost in another world.Â
âThere is a train that can travel through universes.â
Ah, so itâs one of those nights. The kind of nights where Bronya would get lost in the dark abyss of her mind and say the most random, deep things that would have her questioning her sanity by the time you pull her out of the bar.Â
âMhm, the Astral Express is capable of doing that.â You chuckle, trying to downplay how deep her thoughts really were. âUhmâŠbaby?â
Bronya was still staring in silence as she was now looking at the ice cubes melting in her drink. She usually got like this whenever she was sleep deprived or blanking out, but today it was especially prominent as Bronya took one too many sips of her beverage whilst sitting at the bar with you.
âDarling, do you think other universes could come to Belobog and fix our Fragmentum problem?â Bronya said while spacing out, the gears in her mind rolling as she slowly took another sip of her drink. âAeons, we shouldâve told the Astral Express crew to bring back some people. Perhaps the people at the Herta Space Station could help us. Orâ I believe they are peopleâŠâ
Bronya paused again and her eyes got wide.
âDarlingâŠdo aliens exist? Are the people at the Herta Space Station actually people?â
She gasped and suddenly turned to face you.
âThe Astral Express crew. Do they count as aliens too?!â
You quickly shut her up with a kiss before she could get too deep in her alien vs human conspiracies. Your girlfriend squeaking and blushing before finally calming down in your hold.Â
âBronya, sweetie. Itâs very late, and as cute as you are rambling about aliens and conspiracy theories, I think itâs time we head back home.â You slowly pulled the drink away from her and helped her stand up from her seat. âCome on, you can borrow my coat. Itâs cold out.â
Bronya flushed when you wrapped your coat around her while the two of you began walking back home. The Supreme Guardian leaning against your shoulder affectionately as a comfortable silence falls between you.Â
ââŠDo penguins have knees?â
âOh Aeons.â

Dating Them! Characters: Himeko, Welt, Firefly, Herta, Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan & Obsidian Warnings: Penacony questline spoilers (Firefly)
- Himeko is more of a quiet, gentle lover
- Her main love languages is quality time so she loves to hangout with you every single day, even if its as simple as chatting over tea or as big as going on an adventure to find a stellaron
- Following that it would be gift giving, giving you small but simple gifts of things that you like or reminded her of you
- In the past she has given you
Tea Cups (or Coffee cups if you're a coffee drinker)
Specialized Jewelry
- When she does cuddle its usually whenever you both are in bed getting ready to sleep
- But you don't go to sleep cuddling like that-she'd prefer to hold you a bit before and then sleep separately (although you both are still in the same bed)
- Himekos favourite dates include Coffee/Tea hangouts or Movies
- PDA is okay but only if its the express crew and only a little bit, not full on making out infront of them-holding hands, occasional kisses and hugging is okay. Infront of anyone else she sticks to hand holding or hugging
- Himeko also isn't too jealous as a person, she trusts you won't leave her so she trusts you fully
- Welt is very similar to Himeko in a loving sense
- Similar to her hes gentle and quiet-not to mention he never gets jealous over you
- One thing he does get is protective, specifically when someones overstepped the boundaries a little bit
- His main love language would be acts of service. Welt loves helping you out whenever you need it, holding the door for you, protecting you from an enemy etc!
- Some gifts he would give you include...
Chocolates
Perfume
Flowers (lots of flowers)
Watches
- Welt loves cuddling whenever you both have free time, specifically either you laying on top of him or the other way around
- If you both wanted to, he would also love to cuddle to sleep
- Some of the dates you guys go on can include:
Picnics
Movies
Teaching you skills
- Now to be dating firefly you have to know about her being SAM + know the other Stellaron Hunters
- As a lover, Firefly lets you take the lead in the relationship a bit more but she isn't afraid to talk to you about things that are needed
- Her main love language is Words of Affirmation & Gift Giving
- She always loves to say "I love you" or "you're beautiful" or even how cute/adorable/handsome you are
- Other than that we've seen before in the Penacony quest how she loves to give gifts/food to her partners whenever they remind her of them! The same goes with you! Whenever she seems something she think you might like she always goes out to buy it for you
- Which includes pastries, keychains, necklaces and a lot more
- Dates with firefly would occur really anywhere. She's not really known for being wanted like the rest of the hunters so she does have creative freedom-just don't do anything or go anywhere where she would need to activate SAM and you're fine!
- Occasionally she might get a little jealous/question if she deserves you but just talk her out of it and make her understand how much you love her
- Dating Herta is special since she does have countless copies of herself all over the space station
- You could talk with her at her office and then walk out...BOOM! There's another Herta standing in front of you
- On that note, Herta's main love language is Quality Time!
- It works out since there are many Hertas-even so she wants you to hangout with her main body (the one in her office) the most, so its where you spend most of your day
- Some popular dating spots she'd bring you:
Researching together
Eating lunch together
- Ruan Mei is a careful lover
- Her love language is Acts of Service & Physical Touch
- Ruan Mei enjoys helping you out with small tasks & she enjoys whenever you help her out aswell
- Physical Touch for her is mainly holding hands while walking and doing various things
- Jealousy doesn't exist in Ruan Mei's books either-why would you leave her for someone you met 0.5 seconds ago? That isn't like you at all
- Dates with her vary, some can include:
Going out for lunch together
Working on science projects/experiments
- Ruan Mei is very protective of you-its like she has a third eye watching you at all times to ensure nothing bad happens to you
- Fu Xuan's love language is mainly acts of service
- She is very shy with physical affection most of the time, especially if you do something in front of others
- But she will help you out from time to time and occasionally takes your fortune if you wish
- Date spots with Fu Xuan include...
Walks around the Luofu
Combat training to up your skills
Going to an arcade together
- Occasionally she will also give small gifts that she think you'd enjoy, usually its only on special occasions though
- From what we seen Obsidian likes to cause chaos and start "bloodbaths" as she'd say
- But in a relationship she'd treat you as a Queen/King
- Always paying attention to you, Always doing what you'd like
- Her servants always follow your orders because if they don't well lets just say Obsidian won't be happy
- Having baths together in "blood" is also her favorite activity

Only for the psychic damage... Jiaoqiu, Fu xuan and Ruan mei X that your forger levels cook! reader... please. btw I love your writing
A Recipe for Chaos
Tags: Jiaoqiu x Reader, Fu Xuan x Reader, Ruan Mei x Reader, Fluff, Comedy, Domestic Shenanigans, Cooking Disaster, Found Family Dynamics, Mentorship, Slow Burn.
Warnings: Mild Language (Fu Xuan's sharp comments), Food Descriptions, Mentions of Poisoning (in a humorous context), Slightly Chaotic Kitchens, Embarrassment.
A/N: HII!! THANK YOU FOR LOVING MY WORKS!! đ€đ
Jiaoqiu adjusted the feather fan in his hand, his sightless gaze tilted slightly toward the clatter of pots and pans in the corner of the kitchen. Though he couldnât see, the cacophony of sounds and the occasional, rather alarming hissing noises painted a vivid picture in his mind.
âAre youâŠboiling something that shouldnât be boiled?â he asked carefully, his voice soft but tinged with skepticism.
You huffed from across the counter. âItâs an experimental dish! I think youâll like it. It has, um, protein, carbs, and a healthy dose ofâŠcreativity.â
Jiaoqiu suppressed a chuckle, his sharp fox ears twitching at the sound of liquid bubbling ominously. âCreativity, yes. Poison, no, I hope?â
âItâs fine! Youâre such a worrywart.â
The smell hit him first â a mixture of something charred, something sour, and something unmistakably wrong. Jiaoqiu stiffened, his fingers brushing against the edge of the table for reassurance. âThis is precisely why I offered to help you.â
âNo offense, Jiaoqiu, but youâre blind. Cooking might not be your forte.â
He let out a sigh, his golden irises remaining hidden beneath closed eyelids. âAnd yet, even without sight, I suspect Iâd be a safer pair of hands than yours.â
You waved a spatula in his direction, not that he could see it. âYou donât trust me? Just you wait. One bite, and youâll be begging for seconds.â
Moments later, you placed a bowl of steamingâŠsomething in front of him. Jiaoqiu hesitated, his elegant fingers brushing the bowl's edges. âShould I pray first?â
âRude!â
With a soft laugh, Jiaoqiu brought a spoonful of the concoction to his lips. The moment it touched his tongue, he froze. His expression shifted subtly â a twitch of the mouth, a furrow of the brow â before he coughed politely and placed the spoon down.
âAh,â he said with a practiced healerâs diplomacy. âItâsâŠunique.â
âSee? You love it!â you beamed, completely missing his strained tone.
Jiaoqiu cleared his throat. âPerhaps next time, we could try cooking together. Iâll guide you, and you canâŠbe supervised.â
âAre you saying Iâm bad at this?â
âNot bad,â Jiaoqiu replied with a small smile. âJust catastrophically ambitious.â
Fu Xuan stood in the doorway, arms crossed and gaze sharp as she surveyed the battlefield that used to be her kitchen. Spills of mysterious sauces streaked across the counters, vegetables lay discarded in odd corners, and the unmistakable scent of burntâŠsomething hung heavily in the air.
âYouâre lucky Iâm benevolent,â Fu Xuan announced, tapping her foot. âOtherwise, youâd be arrested for crimes against food.â
You turned from the stove, sweat beading your forehead. âHey! Iâm trying my best here. Cooking is hard!â
âNo, itâs not. Youâre just terrible at it,â she retorted, stepping closer. Her usually pristine demeanor faltered as her gaze landed on the pot you were stirring. âWhat is that?â
âA stew.â
Fu Xuan peered over your shoulder. âIt looks like a potion from the Alchemy Commission gone wrong.â
You rolled your eyes and muttered, âEveryoneâs a critic.â
When Fu Xuan noticed you adding an entire handful of salt without measuring, she snapped. âEnough! Step aside before you poison someone â most likely yourself.â
âBut I wanted to surprise you!â
She pinched the bridge of her nose. âThe only surprise here is that the kitchen hasnât exploded yet.â
With a flourish, Fu Xuan grabbed an apron and tied it over her dress(?). âWatch and learn, rookie.â
You tried not to feel offended as Fu Xuan effortlessly salvaged your disastrous stew, adding precise dashes of seasoning and adjusting the heat with expert hands. Within minutes, the smell of something actually edible filled the air.
She handed you a spoonful, smirking. âThere. Thatâs how itâs done.â
You tasted it, your eyes widening. âWhoa. Youâre amazing.â
âOf course I am,â Fu Xuan said smugly. âNow, never touch my kitchen again.â
Ruan Mei was known for her patience and nurturing demeanor, but even she was beginning to question her life choices as she watched you attempt to bake a cake. Flour dusted your hair, frosting was smeared on your cheek, and the batter in the bowl had somehow turned an alarming shade of green.
âI donât remember asking for a radioactive cake,â Ruan Mei teased gently, resting her chin in her hand.
âItâs matcha!â you defended.
âI see,â she said, though her doubtful tone suggested otherwise.
You poured the batter into a pan, and as you slid it into the oven, a strange sizzling noise emerged. Ruan Mei blinked. âIs it supposed to sound like that?â
You hesitated. ââŠYes?â
She sighed, standing up and dusting off her hands. âAlright, let me help you. Cooking is about love and precision, not whatever chaotic energy youâre bringing to the table.â
âBut I wanted to make it special for you!â
Ruan Meiâs expression softened, and she placed a hand on your flour-covered shoulder. âThatâs sweet, but itâs okay to ask for help. Weâll make it together, okay?â
With Ruan Meiâs guidance, the two of you managed to create a passable â if slightly lopsided â cake. When it was finally done, she handed you a slice and smiled.
âSee? Teamwork makes the dream work.â
You took a bite and grinned. âNot bad! Maybe Iâm not so hopeless after all.â
Ruan Mei chuckled. âLetâs not get ahead of ourselves. But with a little practice, you might just become my sous chef someday.â
âDream big, right?â
Ruan Mei laughed, her voice warm and musical. âYes. But maybe stick to small goals for now.â

"They didn't eat again."
Silver Wolf tosses the metal bowl on the counter with a frown. Itâs full, heaped with eggs, kixi wafers, and some yogurt-based sauce. Itâs untouched, sauce gelatinized from being out in the open air.
Kafka clicks her tongue from the cockpit, pausing her scrolling. Her gaze flicks up, "Not a bite?"
"Nope." Silver Wolf frowns and fidgets. "They didn't even look at me when I gave them their lunch either."
"They haven't eaten since the day before yesterday then. Thatâs no good." Kafka sounds concerned, but there's an edge to it.
Blade feels antsy. Out of his skin. He doesn't know why.
âThey havenât been drinking much either.â Silver Wolf frowns. âTheyâll shrivel up and die at this rate."Â
Kafka nods, "Thatâs more than likely their intention, even if it's a long and foolish way to die. Thatâs a shame. I thought they'd be better than this."
Blade drums his stiff fingers over the hilt of Shard Sword. He hardly remembers summoning it.Â
"Bladie, dear? Try and convince them to have a bite or two tonight." Kafka's attention almost drifts back to her phone before she meets his eyes. Her own are clear, pupils intact. "Be careful, though. Hungry pets will still bite the hand that feeds them."
Blade doesn't reply with anything other than a jerky nod. He ferries himself across the ship to a padded training room and shreds two dozen practice dummies until they're nothing more than piles of polymer leather and filler.
...
Kafka had implemented a rotation. A 'feeding schedule' to acclimate you to your new environment, and get you used to your new comrades. Youâre pricklier than she originally anticipated, but she doesn't seem concerned.
(If anything, she seems... delighted. She has a spring to her step that she usually doesn't. She leaves your room glowing.)
Itâs Blade's turn to bring you dinner. Your meal is piled into the same metal bowl. Heaps of rice, covered in a sticky sauce with chunks of meat and veg. Itâs still steaming as he walks silently to your cellâ room. cell. He's not sure.
He undoes each lock (seven) and enters your room without any announcement.
The room is... less destroyed than it was yesterday. When Blade brought you lunch the day before, your mattress had been dragged onto the floor, sheets torn to shreds and spread around the room. Youâd thrown a book at his head when he'd entered.
(Which he caught and gave back to you. You looked terrified when he got at all close to you.)
Blade didnât like it. And he isn't sure why.
Today, you're less frantic. Instead, youâre balled up on your mattress, tucked in a corner with your knees up. Your head is down. You only flinch when Blade enters, but don't regard him otherwise.
Blade's frown deepens.
"Dinner," he says, and sets the food on your nightstand. Kafka has replaced the diffuser you broke the day prior. A new one pumps out an herbal-scented mist. "Eat it."
"Just leave it,â you reply, voice scratchy and raw. You rarely speak to him.
"No. Eat it now."
"I will later."
"You won't. You aren't eating."
"And what's it to you?" You unfurl just a fraction and shoot him a glare. Itâs angry. vitriolic and guarded. (But a scared stray will bear its teeth and bite, won't they?)
(What is it to Blade? Other than Kafka's order. Thereâs something there. There has been something there since he saw you muzzled and dead-eyed, and Blade's always half-aware of it. How it refracts and shudders and fills him with such intense unease. He knows the feelingâ recognizes it like the scent of an old lover. But he does not like it. It does not feel like it is his.)
Heâs struck with the particular urge to throw you against a wall and watch your skull splatter against the metal paneling.
He doesn't. Because his mara isn't that uncontrollable, not now anyway. Instead, he frowns at your scowl.
"You'll die if you don't eat."
"Ah, and if I die, you'll lose an asset, right? I'm not stupid, I know how these things work." You sound... almost petulant. Blade does not know how to approach you, or it, or this attitude.
"You'll die. You shouldn't die. You should eat and live."
"Fuck you." You snap at him, fist balling up in the sheets at your side. You've picked your nails short and raw. "Fuck you."
Blade doesn't know what to do.
He pushes the bowl closer to you on the nightstand before departing.
Kafka catches him as he heads to the training rooms (again, because he needs to shatter a few holograms with his bare fists if he wants to feel close to sane in the next few hours.)
"Any luck, lovely?" Kafka's expression is kind. She must already know.
"No."
Kafka sighs, and shakes her head. "I'll take care of it, Bladie. I suppose weâll have to do things the hard way.â
...
Kafka is the one to bring you breakfast the next morning. Blade does not normally keep track of Kafka's morning routine, because she is insane, but considering it involves you, he's more keen to it. Kafka prepares a light breakfast of garlic and shash rice, and secondarily, a shake of greens and nutrient powder.
(He... he thinks he knows the substance. Recognizes the acrid, must-driven smell of it, and remembers how awful it tastes. Like bile mixed with metal shavings. Who knows where Kafka acquires it from. He has smudged out memories of choking it down when Kafka first pulled him out of a crater, covered in blood and scarredâ but not dead. Never. Never, never deadâ )
Blade fractiously goes to your room and waits outside your door. Kafka is still inside when he arrives, speaking to you in that sweet, syrupy tone that drips into muscle and bone like molten metal.
"You need to eat, darling."
"Fuck youâ"
"The more you fight, the harder this will be. Why don't you be good and let me help?"
"Donât fucking touch meâ!"
Thereâs the muffled sound of a struggle, which Blade assumes isnât much of a struggle because Kafka is far stronger than she looks. Blade leans against the wall, next to your door. He can feel vibrations of a fight in the soles of his shoes through the floor. The thump of a body hitting the wall echoes.
Blade hears crying. Youâre crying.
"Oh, tears? Iâve hardly done anything."
"Youâre fucking monsters. Just let me goâ!"
"You know that won't happen. Play nice.â
"Don'tâ!"
You sob, probably, and there's another sharp sound of flesh on steel. Blade would've flinched if he wasnât an abomination.
"Let me take care of you, sweetheart. The sooner you give in, the easier this is. This doesn't need to be difficult."
"Get off of meâ!"
More struggling. Blade closes his eyes and tries to imagine it. Kafka is ruthless in getting what she wants. She knows how to pry people apart, pick at their inside, and pull strings until they fracture. It is why Elio is such a fan of hers. It is why Blade keeps her close, as she knows the delicate, bowstring dance of keeping his mara in check.
He wonders what Kafka sees in you.
(He wonders what he sees in you. You're nothing likeâ likeâ who? Who are you so different from?)
Blade has a headache.
The sounds echoing from your room dissolve into muffled sobs and the occasional sharp cough. A gag. Inhaling and what must be your fist beating against the metallic paneling of the floor. He hears Kafka hush you, over and over. Quietly praising you after each gag and retch.
Blade's not sure how long it goes on before things feel still and quiet.
The sound of a kiss, audible, "See, that wasn't so hard, was it?"
"... F-fuck you.
"Such a filthy mouth. Do you need me to wash your mouth out with soap? I'm happy too."
"Wait, donâtâ noââ
Blade realizes his shoulders have hiked up. He forces them to lower. You scream and fight just feet away, really. All that separates you is seven locks.
Kafka seems to be handling things. The sounds continues, and become dull background noise. Shouts and pants fade into his thoughts as they get sap-sticky.
(Someone beloved, something far away. Bitter liquor on each otherâs lips. Blade canât recall the name.)
(A comet with a tail burning yellow. It is cold. A blade, driven into his chest. A blade stabbed into his eye. A blade put sidelong through his skull. A blade splitting his throat. Cold, cold, cold, cold.)
(Do you know cold? Do you know how frostbite turns flesh black? Do you know necrosis? What pain do you know?)
Blade, startlingly, does not want you to know pain. He wants you to eat your meals.
Kafka exits, almost startling him. She does not look surprised to see him hovering. She rearms the locks and glances at him from the corner of her eye.
âDown, loverboy. A scared dog will bite.â
âDo not call me that.âÂ
"Alright, alright,â she laughs and her grin grows sharper. âIâll be taking care of their meals for the next few days. Listen, grab a medkit, the poor thing needs it. Though, Iâll let them hurt for a while first.â
Kafka walks off, and Blade follows at her heels. There are indentations in Kafka's gloves-- half-moon bite marks of teeth.
He decides he is going to break his own fingers, maybe. He can watch them heal back into place.
Itâs meditative.
...
Several days pass with your ânew routineâ. Kafka handles each meal. Blade stays away from your room. The entire wing youâre located in feels nuclear. He stays in the training room. Throws himself at matted walls until his shoulders dislocate, only to pop them back into place to repeat the cycle.
He makes a point to check the kitchen after each of your meal times. Thereâs always an empty dish, a clean plate. A chunky-looking film left on a glass in the sink. Kafka is diligent, Blade doesnât doubt this.Â
The whole thing fills him with unease.
He asks Kafka to wipe his memory, but she denies him. Sheâs in the cockpit, swiveling in her seat.
âYou donât need that yet, Bladie. Give it some time.â
âButââ
âDiscomfort isnât mara suffocation, dear.â
âYouâre patronizing me.â
She sizes him up, sighing, âListen to me, keep it together. Youâre alright. How about this, you can feed your pet starting tomorrow for lunch. Would that make you feel better?â
It would. Heâs not sure why.â
âIt would.â
Kafka looks pleased with the outcome of the conversation. She tells Blade to get some rest, pats his cheek, which does take the edge off the mara rooting around in his psyche for purchase.Â
Blade takes a long route through the ship to his chambers. A deliberate path that brings him in front of your door. He doesnât dare to enter, only listen. Itâs late, you could be sleeping given the hourâ but Blade can hear you shuffling around. Grumbling to yourself. One of your feet is dragging on the floor as you walk. Blade wonders how it was injured.Â
He departs after hearing the shifting of your sheets, and the light under your door goes out.
(He feels insane. Insane in a way that isnât mara-ridden, which is more terrifying. He knows the gnawing beast of Abundance that crawls around inside his skull and bones, he doesnât know madness that has burrowed itself between his ribs. It feels light, like the carbonation bubbles in the bottled soda back on the Luofu. His palms sweat when he becomes aware of it with each thought of you.)
(Maybe heâll try tearing out his organs again. That could fix it.)
Blade returns to his room and paces, before stripping and climbing into bed.
Itâs only when heâs half-asleep that he realizes heâs hard.
Heâs not sure why.Â
...
Lunch is some takeout. It scalds his hands through the bowl he heaps it into. Braised trelk ribs with scallion and carrot, ladled over a bed of chewy-looking noodles.
"Bladie," Kafka tells him from the cockpit. She glances at him with a curling smile. "Be careful, they're sensitive."
Blade does not know how to be... careful. Not like how Kafka is implying he thinks anyway.
Silver Wolf snorts from her seat, speaking through a bite of noodle, "Youâre asking a human-shaped hydrokenia bomb to be 'careful'?"
"Blade's a good boy, I'm sure he'll do great." Kafka's eyes are that spatial, nebula magenta. He feels pleasantly high when she looks at him. "Wonât you?"
"Yes."
Kafka looks pleased, "Listen, take your meal too. Eating with them will get them comfortable."
Silver Wolf raises an eyebrow, "Is that really a good idea?"
"I think so. Blade can handle it if they get testy."
She looks at him with a grin that's collapsed empires and immolated planets. Blade leaves the room with two bowls in his hands.
When he arrives at your cellâ room. It's your room. He unlocks the locks methodically and enters without a greeting.
Today, you are not tucked in the corner of your bed. Youâre instead perched in the rounded window, gazing at the starscape. Your knees are raised, and your arms are wrapped around yourself. You look small and defeated, eyes darkened and downcast. Blade watches you rub your shoulders.
You look up when he enters. Blade sets the bowl on the ledge next to you, and sets a pair of chopsticks on top, "You will eat."
It's not a command, but a statement of fact.
You scowl, looking so angry. Alive with it. He recognizes vitriol so easily. It's in your eyes and in the way you bare your teeth at him, ready to strike. Maybe you'll bite down on him, into him, until you taste blood. Blade's sure you wouldn't leave a scarâ he heals too quickly from the types of flesh wounds to give him a lasting mark.
(There's something enticing about you trying. Blade does not know the floating, filmy part of himself that suggests such a desire.)
You carry Kafka's mark. There are bruises around your throat, the clear shape of hands. There are lumps across your jaw, darkened in color. Scratches of nails over your neck, down to your collarbones. Your eyes are red-rimmed. Your lip is split, barely scabbed over. You're shaking.
You open your mouth, ready to snap. Maybe you'll spit venomâ Blade doesn't know your species. You could.
(Blade remembers your expression on different faces from the glitter of your canines. It reminds himâ ofâ? Jingliu was colder. Frigid in her rage. Dan Feng was always so calm with his, Only shattered near the end, like a tide that swelled too high on the shore to swallow the world whole. Your expression is white-hot, like metal pulled fresh from a stoked forge. Desperation and terror make dull teeth sharp. Actions become erratic and desperate.)
(Blade has not remembered so much, so clearly in a long time. He really needs Kafka to wipe his memory again.)
The mara in him writhes. Itâs a necrosis, a vitality that has long since sank into his marrow and will not leave. It rolls through him. Blades tips back his head and rolls his shoulders. There's a high to it, followed by an immediate and tumbling withdrawal and dread and clarityâ
And it's all interrupted by the little gasp you make. The abrupt jolt you take backward, into the window, closer to the depths of deep space. Your body thumps against the glass.Â
('Fragile', Kafka had said.)
Your mouth closes, and your bloody lower lip wobbles. Tears glitter on your lash line as you retreat. Maybe, Kafka broke you. Sheâs good at that.Â
"Fuckingâ I-I mean, fine. Iâll fucking eat." You stumble over your words with a sniffle. Your voice is raw and strained. You rub your nose on your sleeve and scramble for the bowl and utensils.
Blade stares as you eat your first bite. Then your second. Followed by your third. You start crying after the fourth, sobbing with the fifth, and hiccupping between mouthfuls. You're eating too fast, occasionally looking at him with an expression he recognizes as terror. He's used to seeing a look like that at the end of his blade. Frozen before draining of blood and death.
He frowns. You should not look that way..
"Slow down," he says, sitting next to you.
You look at him and wipe over your mouth, lips parting, but seem to think better of speaking. You take another bite, chewing slower. Blade picks up his own bowl and eats small, meticulous bites.
(He shared a meal all the time. Shoulder to shoulder with Dan Feng, splitting casks of viridian wine in the moonlight. Food tastes better when someone you... like is near.)
You finish before him, and don't stop crying. If anything, you cry harder. It sounds painful.
Blade pauses his meal, idling. searching. There's something there. A feeling coated in the roots of mara, but... perhaps it's a delicious agony. Not so much a memory, but a want. Something other thanâ than what and whyâ
Blade stands. He departs to your bathroom (there are blood stains on the counter) and grabs a cloth towel. He dampens it with water, letting the sink run until it's pleasantly warm.
He sits closer to you when he returns. You flinch away in retreat, leer away as he comes close, hands upâ
"Please, don't, what are youâ"
"Hold still." Blade grabs your wrist and you wince.
With entirely conscious thought and great effort, he loosens his grip. And... gently, Blade brings the cloth to your face. He dabs around your eyes, then your cheek and nose, and lastly your mouth. you're frozen, wide-eyed, and still shaking.
When he's done, he grabs a blanket from the bed. He wraps it around your shoulders. It feels... somewhat right.
"You should rest." He tells you. "You need it."
Blade thumbs over a swollen round on your jaw. You tremble, eyes wide.
But maybe a little less scared.
"... Are you gonna stay while you finish eating?" You eye his half-full bowl.
"Yes."
"... 'kay... and you're not gonna rough me up like Kafka did?"
"No." He has no plans to.
"... Fine."
You cautiously make your way back to your little bed, sitting at the head of it, and half-slipping under the covers. It's... cute.
(Blade has not thought of anything as cute in several centuries.)
Blade wants to break your legs.
When he finishes, he collects both bowls, and looks around your room. It's sparse, though. There are a few books on the nightstand.
"... Are you bored?"
"Huh?" You ask. You'd been lost in thought, eyes lost. "Oh, I mean. yeah? There's not much to do."
"I'll bring some things. Bear it until then."
"Oh! Okay." You wrap the blanket around your shoulders tighter. "You're... Bladie, right?"
"Just Blade."
"Oh, okay. sorry." You wring your hands. "Thank you, Blade."
The thing in his chest blooms. A monstrous flower, mycelium under acres of land in a network that eats and never dies. Undergrowth that does nothing but rot and grow, grow and rot.Â
Blade doesn't reply as he leaves the room. He gets halfway to the training wing before he has to pause, withdraw his phone, and send Kafka a frantic text: 'Meet me in the weaponry room.â
He pockets his phone before punching the wall. Clumsy fingers break upon impact, and the indentation of the fist remains in the metal.Â

: reader is a short life species, jing yuan is pining (ineffectively) at the reader, jing yuan is making old man moves
:427 words
It's not very often that the General would summon the Master Diviner herself to the seat of Divine Foresight. After all, her constant nagging is not something even a person who has lived millenniums can sit to and listen to.
"What is it that's so important that you called me over, General? Have you perhaps finally decided to make me your successor? It's about time, you know? I am perfectly fitted for the position of-"
Oh, that again. Jing Yuan makes a quick decision to cut her off before she decides to "remind" him of her very qualified resume through memorised paragraphs after paragraphs, "-I'd like you to make a divination for me, Fu Xuan. It's rather important and personal."
"Personal?" Fu Xuan pauses to think, before her face starts booming with much familiarised exasperation again, "Will you please stop wasting the Divination Commission's time again? Our time may seem like nothing to you, but we spend centuries to ensure the Luofu's safety and peace- just because you're bored from the Luofu's troubles, doesn't mean that you'd get to-"
"Please, Fu Xuan? This is rather important."
The General's unforeseen desperation completely catches Fu Xuan off guard.
"...What is it? Make it quick before I change my mind!" Fu xuan decides to make a cut for this time. Perhaps the General is stricken with a troublesome entity after sitting in the seat of Divine Foresight for far too long. Perhaps the General actually has a problem that may concern the comfort of the Luofu Xianzhou-
"It's regarding my lovelife. I'd like you to foresee it's fruits in the future," The general says with an infuriating smile.
Nevermind! Wait. Lovelife?
"Perhaps you'd like to retire and finally find a spouse?!" Fu Xuan's angry exterior has now been banished coincidentally by the chance she sees ahead of him (which is no chance at all- The general is awaiting her maturity, and unfortunately for Fu Xuan, she is showing none of it), "If that's the case-"
"-If this goes successful, I may just consider that very enticing option," But the general, like the lowlife he is, doesn't bother to correct her. Instead, taking advantage of Fuxuan's newly found interest to dig deeper into his current frustrations.
"Please do continue, general!"
Oh yeah, she's buying it.
"What do young people like these days? Perhaps my idea of chivalry is not theirs, but I find that my attempts of quality time doesn't seem to build any type of bond with them. It's quite a problem really," General sighs, his head leaning on his right fist- eyes shutting for awhile to recount his multiple (failed) attempts on flirtatious attempts towards you.
[General Jing Yuan: Pardon me, Lady [name], but I wonder whether you have the time to come to the Seat of Divine Foresight right now for a game of Xianzhou starchess?]
[[Name]: Idk if I can play that tho haha lol,,, what's with the "lady" anyway? u shld prolly do ur work general, unless you wanna get your ass kicked again by qingzu. say hi to her for me btw :p]
Not only he's having trouble trying to decipher your text messages, he's having problems trying to get you to at the very least, interested in him. I mean, why are you mentioning Qingzu so much in a conversation with him?
Even his offers to teach you received reluctant rejections. And Jing Yuan doesn't push because his late father taught him "the ways of a gentleman".
"What's your idea of a quality time anyway?" Fu Xuan butts into his thoughts, "Don't tell me it's playing starchess or reading up on the latest puzzles on Starchess in Xianzhou Magazine?"
Jing Yuan tries to reply, but his answers are stuck in a gaped mouth.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?" Fu Xuan lets out an aggravated yell. It's not hard to see that she's absolutely confounded by the General's lack of awareness regarding the "simple acts of wooing"- but she supposes it makes sense, after all, he has been alive for quite awhile. He doesn't like to disclose his age- but she is sure that it has reached at least a millenial.
He clears his throat, "...I suppose young people wouldn't find it quite appealing now that you have phrased it that way."
Fu Xuan sighs again, deciding to cross her arms so she doesn't impulsively maul the general's face for his dense outlook on courting, "How old are they anyway? If they are young, I suppose that they are around the two centuries old age range?"
"...Give it just about a few decades."
Fu Xuan swears that her eyes almost popped out of their sockets, "Are you talking about [name]?!"
The general's booming laugh is heard across the room, but his red face exposes his nervousness, "Now, now- keep it down. We don't need the guards hearing this."
Fu Xuan attempts to keep her composure once again, deciding that its best not to put the Luofu General's name to shame by exposing his ridiculously failure of a love life to the whole of Xianzhou. But she just can't help but point out, "They probably think of you as an old man, you know? Especially with the starchess talk and all- it's impossible to perceive underlying romantic connotations from invitations to a game of starchess- especially for a youngling."
The general's face turns sour and Fu Xuan braces herself for another attack, "Then I suppose my talks regarding my old age isn't helping at all?"
Fu Xuan thanks the eons above that she had made a conscious decision to cross her arms.

thinking of a tag team yandere! mona and yandere! fu xuan duo. youâd think them to bicker as neither are exactly privy to sharing, especially when it comes to you⊠but they just get along so, well. they converse with ease, exchanging knowledge with one another through eloquent expressions that make you dizzyâ should you even try to comprehend it. mona introduces fu xuan to a deeper understanding of astrology, she likes to be in the presence of someone so educated, almost as much as she likes bragging about how much you enjoy stargazing with her (it is a forced activity, to put it kindly). fu xuan has returned the favour by brewing mona some of the native herbal tea from the xianzhou luofu, courtesy of miss bailu, and she tests the astrologist by letting her try and recreate it to your liking (you donât like either; fu xuanâs cup gradually becomes too sweet, and monaâs cup somehow gets more bitter). theyâre both rather exhausting to deal with, and theyâre always two steps ahead of you. no matter how you try to run away, one of them always catches you! although they appear to have a civil yet subtle ongoing rivalry regarding your affections, mona and fu xuan know when to put their prides aside and work together to remind you that where you belong is with them. they like to foresee their prophecies about you on their own, individually, before meeting up to see if theyâve reached the same divinationâ they always do. if you thought hiding from mona was hard, and keeping fu xuan away from your private life was hard, youâll find that outrunning both of them will be your greatest challenge yet.

WHAT WAS YOUR first thought when Serval told you that you should date Blade?
âThis is hilarious, I should go show it to him,â would be the correct answer. Now were you still scared shitless of him? Yes of course, but now you have an actual reason to talk to him â youâre own entertainment, instead of you shamelessly plugging your friends music.
Looking around the studio for him, you immediately spot him leaning against the wall staring blankly at his phone. It wasnât like he was hard to spot, he was 6â2 (188cm) after all.
Brushing past your coworkers and stepping over chords and past equipment you finally manage to find yourself leaning against the same wall Blade was. Taking a quick glance at him is when youâre heart starts to speed up; were you really going to do this? What if he takes it the wrong way? What if he doesnât find you funny? What if he calls you weird?
Well, maybe the last one isnât that horrible but since itâs Blade you would be thinking about that phrase for the next decade and then some. Pulling out your phone once again and unlocking it you muster up the courage to speak and interrupt the light silence between the two of you.
âHey dude, Serval said that we should date,â you bluntly say, taking a side glance at the man next to you. Blade seemed to have stiffened up at your words and looked at you unblinking.
âWhyâd she say that?â
âWhat do you mean by that?â
âLike, why me? What was the reason?â
âClout.â
He let out a small chuckle at your words which made your shoulders finally relax at the notion that he found what you said funny. âWas that it?â
âYeah, what other reason should you go out with someone?â you reply jokingly.
âLess than two-hundred followers? Ew,â Blade sarcastically remarks to which you laugh at as he ran his hand through his hair.
âWow you havenât had a single sponsor within the last 6 months?â you fake an annoying tone along with the idol in front of you, âThatâs like, really, embarrassing.â
âShameful.â
A comforting silence overtakes the both of once more before you go back to the previous topic at hand, âWell Serval had originally said I should go out with Jing Yuan but according to her you had more clout.â You shrugged your shoulders as his eyes widen slightly.
âLet me see.â
Unlocking your phone, you pull up twitter in search for her tweet. As you pull the tweet up Blade tilts his head downwards to see Servalâs reply and scoffs lightheartedly, âThat shits funny.â
You smile at his words and nod. Soon enough you begin to walk away from Blade as you both wave to each other, âMaybe his resting bitch face isnât too intimidating.â
As soon as youâre out of his line of sight Blade immediately opens the groupchat but then sees a notification pop up and instinctively presses it. His eyes narrow as he looks across the room to see Tingyun grinning mischievously to which he rolls his eyes as she runs away.

ăFu Xuan
Fu Xuan loves how hardworking you are. She appreciates your dedication and attention to your duties, especially as you never slack off of work. You always put all of your effort into every given task.
With that said, she still doesn't like you overworking yourself. She'll make you take breaks every now and then for your health and won't take no for an answer. She wants what's best for you after all, especially when you're always so sleepy and tired all the time.
She'll force you to also eat food, whether you like it or not. Usually she'd eat with you at dinner, always tempting you with dishes she knows you'll like. Your health is her biggest priority next to your safety, so she won't ever let up on you. It's all for your best, after all.
-----âĄ
ăWelt Yang
He appreciates how hard working and focused you always are, when it comes to your duties. It makes missions and tasks easier to complete with you at his side. However, he'd usually take on more difficult and longer tasks, so you don't strain yourself too much.
He likes taking breaks with you, even if you protest against them sometimes. He knows that taking a moment to relax is important, especially if he notices how sleepy you get during the day from how hard you work. Whilst he's proud of you for it, he still won't let you over do it for your own sake.
Loves eating dinner with you, especially when he makes you help him out with making it. He learned that you are more willing to eat alot that way, so he made it a little tradition for the two of you to do everyday together. He just wants you to take care of yourself and he's more than willing to help you out with it.
-----âĄ
ăBlade
He finds how hard you work everyday a little too much for your own good and makes sure to force you into taking breaks with him all the time. He doesn't care how much you whine about it, he'll keep you in his arms, until you've relaxed and are fully rested again.
He likes your gentle and calm nature alot, especially because of how different you are to him. You keep him calm and sane, even on his worst days, which is why he often finds himself keeping you closer to him one way or another.
He doesn't tolerate anything that could hurt you and that includes yourself too. He'll force you to eat something during dinner, telling you that you need to eat in order to stay strong and focused. He doesn't want any harm to come to you, no matter what he has to do for it.
-----âĄ
ăJing Yuan
He finds you so adorable, that you practically distract him with your presence alone during his work hours. He likes to watch you run around his office, always so hardworking and dedicated to any task he gives you. But he also likes relaxing with you during the breaks he forces you to take. You can even nap on his lap, if you're extra sleepy.
He loves your sweet and gentle nature. You're always so easy to fluster, which makes you quite the target for his sweet and teasing words. Not that you mind, ofcourse. He also enjoys how caring and gentle you are with him, especially on more stressful days.
He keeps your eating schedule in mind, always making sure you get the best meals possible everyday. Any negative comment against your own body will be shut down by him with sweet words. You're just perfect to him and he'll make sure, you know that too.
-----âĄ
A/N: I hope this was alright! Thank you again for the super cute request!<33

đđđđ: OF ONE GOLDEN SIGHT.
part one | masterlist | part three
syp. after successfully finding welt yang, as well as dealing with other encounters, you sought out to explore further, hoping to learn and differentiate this universe between being a new reality, or something constructed artificially by the imaginary tree. the xianzhou luofu for example, being one of many stops that you took interest on.
following content. crossover · fight scene · suggestive themes · heavy on the hi3rd references · oneshot w/headcannons · mutual flirting/teasing · mature themes.
âYou're beautiful.â You'd say, and he'll furrow his brows, a smile necessary to mirror your own.
Praise was normal.
The General will receive as such in many tones, but yours held intent, and for once in this current century, he was at a stalemate.
You were discovered floating, at least stomach level at one of the balconies where the Jade Gate resided grandiosely behind you, floating and laid comfortably, suggestively on top your elegant weapon, a divine key, a lance that caused an uproar to artisans of those overboard the Luofu.
It was twice the size of you, a shade dark unsaturated, instead of thorned veins with flowers that patterned on its surfaces, it was replaced in glittered cracks of gold. Marbled like lightning, an elegant and eerie replica of the normal Abyss Flower from a Schicksal Valkyrie who once held it.
But with that, life and death was yours to command. It was beneath you leisurely, awaiting the familiarity of your masterful hand.
You remained motionless on air, gravitating lazily, up and down idle, nonchalant towards the leading looking figure, and the people stood before you under his command.
A ruler? He did look the part, ravishingly at that.
Not caring too much, you just wanted to explore, traversing this bubble universe, all without too much usage of your limbs really.
Since a specific someone, frilly, pink and uplifting, somehow had managed to tire and drain your mentality through rigorous, unrelenting questions about you, your nature, and the relationship you had with the previous Herrscher of Reasonâno, he had previously told you to stop addressing him by that title.
The mission in search for the missing Sovereign of Anti-Entropy had reached its peak, the task was completed, you were done.
What was not, was the overwhelming curiousity you harbored towards such a complex, and sturdily built universe. This worldâthis... bubble universe. Behaving so accordingly, properly. The stability of everything, it was almost anxiety inducing, frighteningly perfect, you were uneasy from how detailed, sentient and alive everything and everyone was.
Perfection is non-existent wherever sentience prevailed, but this... this is truly next, next level.
You're certain that this world wouldn't fall victim to the Sea of Quanta's abyss, not after being birthed with a vast, new whole new star system, ecological ruptures scattered in highs and lows, numerous amounts of advanced technology existing in all kinds of ways and forms, each world having their own ways of tech akin to their aesthetics and traditionalism.
And if the imaginary tree can create such complex systems, visualsâjust how powerful, potent and complex is it to create godlike beings similar to you that could eradicate any existing molecule if they so wished? All the more reason to explore and gather valuable data for those awaiting you in your original world.
That's speaking if you do manage to find your way back, given the knowledge from Welt Yang that he hasn't found a way yet. Safely at least.
Speaking of perfection.
Golden irises met yours, he studied your intricately and interesting designed eyes, they were different, abnormal, but he was accustomed to concepts such as yours, at least, that's what he'd like to believe.
Northern star shaped pupils, a hollow, gradient iris as its bastion, one of many things he noticed about how ethereal you really were.
To give you a compliment with those words would be an insult, it was an understatement.
You were more than mesmerizing, extraordinary, otherworldly, but one thing was most clear to the General; you were also a threat, a large scale one.
He was no diviner like Fu Xuan, but the premonition of unease settled in, engraved so deeply within his gut.
âYour kind words are received, however,â sharp sounds of armory clinked and shifted, winds being cut forward as the horizontal row of spearsmen that positioned themselves behind the general, weaponry raisedâall defensively towards you,
What a predicament you've gotten yourself into.
âWhat are you, and what do you stand to achieve at this hour of day, my lady?â His unidentifiable gaze remained to your direction, occasionally, subtly glancing down towards the weapon you had displayed under you, and back up to meet your hypnotic eyes.
The commotion from the civilians only grew, be it humans, Foxians, or the Vidyhadras.
Some had caused an uproar from your overly grand appearance, some were whispers, quickly plaguing gossips of you being a high Emanator from the deceased Aeon of Beauty Idrila, and the majorityâperceived you to be a threat.
All assumptions based on how their mighty, Arbiter General had his Cloud Knights stationed protectively for them, and with apparent offense towards you.
Even if you were, Jing Yuan remained that positive demeanor, he had to, for the lives that resided in Central Starskiff Haven.
âYour... negative, internal inputs of me are so loud and misplaced, handsome,â you had to deeply inhale back a visible reaction, the way he stiffened when you gave him a nickname was nothing but so utterly, endearing.
âBut, to avoid rousing concerns and disputes that you are so desperately trying to avoid,â you exaggerate, musing him with a chesire-like smile.
âI'll lower myself down to your standards, all for you,â your mouth slightly parts into a small grin, taking in that miniscule amount of surprise that showed on his face from the upgrade of handsome to that.
Lovely, just lovely. That twitch in between his brows, the slight pursing of his top lip, kissing it to the bottom, the way he'd raise his head to stand tall, masking whatever emotions that stirred cruelly inside him.
Subtle his reactions may be, his embarassment was present to your keen observations.
Your lance beneath your body dissipates into a golden light, leaving behind particles of particles, your form now straightened again, taking footing on the railing of the balcony, your hands raised to the sides of your head.
To diffuse the intensity of the situation of course, even if you did have to make yourself look weak by a small amount, aware that last time's show of strength towards the Astral Faction did a number of themâmentally anyways.
đđđđ đđđđ would push unnecessary thoughts to the back of his head. Unorthodox thoughts related to attraction, ranging from the way your fingers effortlessly be positioned in a way similar to dancers that visit the Luofu, enthralling, captivating, the way your eyesâthose eyes, the way those stars would glide, seize him, his knights, and the overall dauntiny situation.
đđđđ đđđđ wasn't one to fear, but you were just haunting, overflowing with elegance, and you were dangerously coy, something that would, at theory, weaken and enable that primal instinct you see in charmed men.
đđđđ đđđđ would slightly lower his guard down, signaling his men to lower their weapons, his own right hand moving towards the side of his head, mirroring half of your surrendered gesture.
But alluring your appearances may be.
đđđđ đđđđ will not waver, nor will he allow his self-mastery of calm resolution to be wavered by your antics. To protect the Luofu, he'd add, defensively, even if the very concept of radiance stood confidently, and defiantly before him.
đđđđ đđđđ would see you, see past your entity-like behavior, observing how you behave once his golden eyes travel enough, just enough to know you were a work of art underneath the silk you wore.
You were otherworldly, but you were still human.
âMy lady...â He took a step to you, eyes never leaving your more visible physiqâyour eyes.
He took a few moments to claw at any given thing that would reclaim his previous state of calm again, the silence, accompanied with a light buzzing and bustling commotion, filling his ears, uncertainty dulling his senses for a moment.
Be strong, General. He reaffirms himself, steeling his mind and heart, a noticable shift in his demeanor while you both locked your gazes to one another.
âYou... are not a citizen of the Xianzhou Luofu, that much is obvious. Vast, the Astral Express may be, I have not heard word of you having an alliance with the travelers accustomed in traversing within the stars,â Oh, them?
âI have also noticed that you don't bear the crest of the Interastral Peace Corporation,â
Ah, so that's what it means. Previously hearing one, or a hundred continuously yell abbreviations during their chase for you.
For an alliance that wore the word 'peace' proudly in their name, their tactics were sure far from it.
âAnd the way you appear and hold yourself in such high, confident regards, even in my presence...â Mm?
So there is something special about hiâ
âYou, are not human, and of this world, are you? At the very least, one of which where the Luofu presides,â the air shifted, Cloud Knights once at ease, now filled with confusion, mixed with an alarm as they hear their General speak out with stern, a tone that can't be differentiated between being a question, or a threat.
Ha.
...
Even that Schicksal maid couldn't discern large, and small scale details that quickly upon just meeting a stranger such a few minutes of close contact.
â...You'd be more than correct.â You attempted to hold yourself and your facial muscles motionless, keeping your hands up to both sides of your head for him. You wouldn't hear the end of it from the trailblazers if you displayed such a disrespectful, unwelcomed, excitement. It was unbefitting of this situation, that much was obvious.
Mmh, but you would digress, for this man was so very, truly fascinating, one that interested you the most. Apart from the blue haired man that craved death in earlier events.
You would assume his abilities, almost purposely rousing him to invoke terrifying reactions you know he's capable of underneath all that reservation and mental fortitude.
His observational skills, overwhelming, giving you a surge that you are being preyed upon on, cat like eyes and reflexes, dilating towards everything subtle you do. That hollow, yet welcoming enough smile that doesn't reach to his pretty eyes, staged for the civilians in confusion, protecting them from feelings of panic and terror.
The highlight in his eyes that would shine brightly as if he just solved every problem there is, the problem being you perhaps, solving you without hints and solutions, guiding him to this battle of composure. A trained body language and demeanor so used to being in regal command.
And a mouth so well versed in literature and strategic prowess, knowing what words to use in all times. you could just...â
âAn Emanator, then?â
...
Huh. What did he just call you?
His voice sounded lower than before, almost threatening, the delivery of tone in which you only picked up on since that expression still retained on that pretty face of his.
It may be a pleasant, questionare he'd staged carefully to not alarm his knights and the people present, but to youâyou were aware it was only masked hiding the fact that it was an interrogation.
Maybe, a deserved one at that from your sudden appearance within their faction, but since it was a public confrontation, he'd trust your judgements that you wouldn't act so rashly, especially with innocent lives around the luofu were present.
What a bold, bold man.
Already trusting you to the stars with just a few moments of talking, since establishing main key points with you in entirety, of this conversation.
Wait. No, wait a moment.
The young March 7th did ramble to you something about an adventure of theirs not too long agoâcontaining a word with Emanator, or Lord Ravager within the storyline of hers. Ah.
An emanator. A defeated one. Phantylia, was it?
âTch,â You didn't like that comparison, assumption it may be, it irked you, especially since encountering a being far greater than her, at least, almost, just barely almost the same level as you being a Herrscher.
You were only nothing but...
âGreater,â you lowered your hands to your sides, standing tall, chin raised with your eyes, fierce and lowered to themâtowards him.
â...Greater.â Jing Yuan would repeat, slowly, as if he was relishing the intensity of the meaning behind your answer, the both of you staring each other down, neither side's auras waning down, exceeding amounts of hostility by the second, even if his was misdirected towards you.
He could only assume negatively then, but you were only reciprocating their behavior, after all.
You move both limbs up to your sides once more, a gradiose pose, unphased to the endless sky that accompanied this enormous grand hexafleet that reminded you of the Hyperion of Schicksal.
A step back from the railing would be a mortal man's doom to, perhaps, between, a fate of an endless free fall, suffering from loneliness, with death not being able to cradle and bring you to salvationâor, you would be accompanied with a fear and thoughts of inevitable doom as you fall to something ranging from abominations of the so-called Aeon of Abundance, or.
A simple, boring splat, meeting the ground with a gruesome, inelegant end.
His eyes narrowed with your gesture, finding himselfâor the hand behind him subconsciously ready to summon his glaive, a defensive stance so buried deeply into his body that the simple word 'reflex' can't do it justice.
âBy 'greater', my lady, you mean you are...ââ
Ancient. Everlasting. A covenant.
âImmeasurable, inconceivable, a vessel to humanity's fatal destruction that reached over fifty thousand years ago, a concept humanity has yet to grasp in those countless eras of waste and fruition,â
âAn ornament, a paradoxical lament to something greater, far, far greater than destruction itself,â
âI am greater, than those who were labeled the greatest.â It wasn't as if you were trying to appear narcissistic, nor overly confident in your abilities.
But that was only the bigger, and bitter truth.
And it is how Raiden Mei (Herrscher of Origin) would potentially word things given her serious, primordial natureâand your claims of such power, being supported due to the sudden glowing of your eyes.
The sound of cracking, and shattering glass that only you and the General can only hear since he was the closest, sourced from the skin behind your exposed back, a dark mist seeping out of it little by little, along with your Honkai energy levels that were growing simultaneously in an alarming pace.
What's worseâyou were unaware of the phenomenon you were displaying right now for it was subconscious, as you revel in the truth of your words with a grin. A misplaced, mistrusting grin you weren't quite aware of you were showing for the General.
Not a Welt Yang within the area right now.
Not a Sovereign, nor a retired Herrscher in your sights to control the situation with knowledge he only held about your kindâyour existence.
Not a creature that matched your power and strength, living or not, to stop you in your glory.
The weight of your words manifested into something heavy, full of density, full of dread, it felt awful, sickening, suffocating, his Cloud Knights and those who were near to hear your frightening words of calamity tensed, sweat starting to surface underneath the fabric that hides their terror, their feet glued to the cement as a helplessness guided them to their internal panic, his Cloud Knights in desparate waiting for any sort of order, movement, any syllable from the man before them.
The Jade Gate behind you blocked the brilliant light for the singular, attentive individual that remained tall, a pillar that he had to be for the ones cowering in the heaviness of your wordsâthe Arbitrator Charioteer stands tall, immovable to your claims of calamitous power.
A Lord Ravager, then. The thought internalized inside his mind based on the grevious words, words of grief worthy testaments, laid bare for the citizens to find themselves in a state of fear that doesn't have the need to use any vocal chords.
âA threat,â he voiced, low and firm. His weaponry materializing from the back, the long length of the spear-like weapon, an oriental, traditional looking glaive, finding its solace within his grasp, making him appear complete his weapon apparent.
âYou say you are the home to an enemy of humanity, do you acknowledge this, my lady.â
The glaive's tip finds its way towards your direction, the seriousness of the situation finally weighing down as you, your pupils landing on the weaponry pointed at you.
You look to your surroundings beyond the man, arms lowered as your gaze dissects the crowds near you.
Fear, and only fear.
Something you are so accustomed to since bearing the Will of the last Herrscher of Death, and only those who were equallyâif not stronger can only ever truly look at you in the eyes, like how this man before you is currently doing.
âYou raise a weapon to me.â
âA weapon with intentions to protect those who stand behind me,â his hold tightens around his weapon, his expression mirroring the seriousness of yours, excluding the disbelief you had, mixed with... something else he couldn't discern, at least not yet.
A long, deep inhale. To the point where you exhaust your lungs of air, then exhaling through your teeth, the few last seconds of it being shaky with lips parting slightly, forming into a small, horizontal oval.
They are only fearful. A kind voice reassured in the center of your mind, though it was faint, it was impactful.
That fear being you, you mean. A familiar, malicious one intruded, causing you to bring a hand to your head again, grasping the side as you clicked your tongue.
Even talking about a truth relating to your power, urges the Houkai?
Noâillogical, it attacks your mental capacity.
To weaken it. Your emotions, your willpower. You'd long forgotten since then, for it had been quite long ago that anyone, had manage to waver your mental strength.
But you can't help it, you hate being looked at with such genuine fear. You hate it, you really do.
It was unfair, it really was. You only do good.
You've been only good. Only nothing but good.
You breathe unsteadily, giving yourself to the silence to calm yourself for a few, long moments, selective hearing at play.
Something was amiss, the General would observe in his guarded silence, lowering his weapon to his side, vertical, the end of his glaive grounded to the cement. He was to take a step, treading in eggshells, making his way with intentions of closing the gap between you and him.
But a hand, yours, a palm towards him had stopped him dead at his tracks, halting his attempt of a succorâtowards you.
You're not one to seek help.
But, stubborn as you are, it would be devastating to put this hyperion like faction to a ruin that you've gotten used to seeing everywhere.
Ah. You, again. Me, again.
And so? You are unwelcoâ
Being a Herrscher, a catastrophic one, at that.
What is a Herrscher like you blending in with human civilizations, through time and time again?
...Ha. You are weak, I have conquered you, stabilized youâand myself long, long ago.
Yes. Yes, that would be the case right now, wouldn't it, partner of Death.
But recall, where a Herrscher presidesâis where my existence remains intact.
For my will... is neverending.
Just like death, infinity and everlasting.
Tch. To choose the unpredictable willingly, that was your forte, to use the unknown in retaliation against the calculative will inside you, to descontruct the threatening finality of your stupor.
It is a new era. This one especially, the world of Pegana, the world that habors no virus that nestle inside youâat least, that's what you believe and have observed in your short time in this 'bubble universe.'
They don't struggle against the Houkai that resided inside you, and that was good, relieving.
Not until traumatic imagery, thoughts of you bringing a fate worse than whatever hell already existed for them, visible, cruel, and horrible.
The fragment of that possibility fine tuning muscles on your face to something sour, having that expression noticed immediately by the General that stood brightly before you.
âYou,â you let out a call towards him, similarly to a snarl in your mental discomfort, gaining his attention. You sought out in voice, seeking out warmth, pacing yourself internally, resuming to reassure your will with familiar words that led to alleviate your worries.
âI don't desire to cause harm, andââ
ââAnd yet, you speak in alarming malice, my lady, such brutal, unfathomable words, coming from that mou-.. from- from the way you speak.â
...What was that pause?
âListen,â a slight jolt from him, âand listen well,â
You appeared just before him in one step. His fingers twitch, his reflexes, motor skill, practicing heavy, heavy restraint to just have a swing at you.
Time had stood still for him, seeing you closer, you were no taller than him, but you remained intimidating, if anything, the differences made you appear more alluring, accompanied with lucent eyes he only started to focus on once captured by your gaze, an eager eye contact that matched his vigor, that subconscious curiousity and excitement, growing ever so finely, but then.
He remembered those under his command.
âYIELDâyield your weapons,â his free hand simultaneously moves up, open, signaling his Cloud Knights just in time, the muted rustling of equipment now heard, winds that were sliced from their cloud piercers towards you now halted abruptly, and of course, you hadn't wavered one bit. âWise,â you add, tilting your head up to him.
A vicious, musing smirk, one which of which he couldn't decide to detest it, or to be smitten by it.
At least for right now.
â...If you think and speak of me in such ways, why haven't I brought said ruination into this beautiful, well constructed flagship we currently reside in?â
âMm,â A great point. He'd look over his shoulder, towards the Cloud Knights coupled defensively, a sum of Xianzhou locals, astral tourists, stilled by fear and unease.
One last deep breathâyou straighten your form, the hand from your head moving downwards to your chest, this time inhaling through your teeth. Simultaneously, the glow from your eyes would dull, along with the rejuvenation of your cracked skin, closing up a rift-like wound that was sourced at your spine.
The General sighs, the free hand moving towards his head, now letting frustration that had been tugging at him since this encounter with you.
It was unhealthy to someone imbued with mara.
There were only a few lasting seconds to take a stand, an initative, a singular choice that wouldn't provoke, youânor worsen what the crowd that flocked together was feeling.
It was truly a taxing, and difficult situation.
Only for him anyways.
đđđđ đđđđ will move with purpose, in every action in his next courses of actions. You would think in his 800 years of loyalty and commitment to the Xianzhou Luofu would easily override his curiousity for youânot at all. Eight centuries of repetitiveness, without the need to indulge in the other mysteries of the universe, and that will also be eight centuries of boredom, perhaps something the discover of your existence can begin to alleviate.
đđđđ đđđđ is a man, an immortal one, the mara that presides within gnaws at his mind, but death isn't able to welcome him just yet, he is unmoving to that concept, but finding himself hesitant, yet feeling that want to play this game of cunning and intelligence against you.
đđđđ đđđđ found eerieness, and a not so welcomed serenity the moment you introduced yourself formally, grand and opening, having you in the center of the divining area within the Divination Commission, wrists, ankles binded separately, ones that held you together, rendering you immobile were something of astral configuration, projection, but some sort of space manipulation, enchantment you can't fanthom, and most importantlyâcan't get out of.
And đđđđ đđđđ would himself revel in that little smidge of discomfort you had, the little creasing between your eyebrows despite the polite and forced smile you had, amused at the way your hands would move, wriggle against the starry chains, and finding himself more impressed once you manage to hold your expression tightly, along with managing to hold back a sound with that pretty, pretty mouth of yours.
Because every time you would try to free yourself, your entire being feels this electrifying, unpleasant burning, it is invasive, mind and emotional means, it runs through your very soul, it tugs at it, warning you, and it behaves similarly like the Houkai within you, and it is sickening.
Sickening to feel something foreign creep up to you again, to try and destroy you from the inside out, what's worseâit had no traces of Houkai Energy, so you weren't able to identify and manipulate it at all, and everytime you would use your own abilities, you would be met with something sharp, a weapon immediately pressed against your nape.
Curiousity had once killed a cat, but what feline is there to be seen, for they have grasped only but a predator.
âYou were the one who asked to be binded,â
âTo cease any worries, of course,â a half truth. You feign another smile, one that he would mirror with slight amusement. Just where is this confidence he was getting from? You'd think, wincing as soon as your body naturally tries to free itself again, biting your bottom lip to stifle any noise.
âThese... binds, they allow you to sense any malicious activity, yes?â The General would let out a musing hum, walking towards you, eyeing you.
âAs much as I would love to partake in offering you knowledge,â he looks towards a direction, and you follow his gaze. âUnfortunately, you'll have to relay your questions to the Diviner over there,â A pink colored hair, a hue you wouldn't associate with Ms. March, her demeanor held respectable prowess, something you can admire.
âI see,â you reply, short and neat, sighing.
âIs this necessary, you question.â he narrates for you, taking the words that were already subconsciously forming in the back of your head.
You found it endearing, cocking your head to the side, a genuine smile this time, one that shifted immediately into a smirk. âYou'd have to stare at me in long amounts to know what thoughts I currently harbor,â his head returns to your direction, finding those golden eyes gleam along with yours, his lips almost curling upwards.
Almost, but he won't allow it. Not just yet.
âMm, you would be correct,â So, so dangerous.
âBut almost anyone would think that once they know Lady Fu will be invading one of humanities vulnerabilitiesâthe mind, being one of them.â
âHmp, so much resistance for what...â you mumble softly, complaining about the way he would deflect your advancesâhe had been since encountering you, especially when you were on the way to the place where you currently are.
âI don't know what you mean,â you were heard. His answer made you look away from him, towards the calm ether, an atmosphere showered with golden leaves, most likely sourcing from the beautifully large scale tree you saw on the way to here, and those golden leaves, caught and nestled within the fabric of your outfit, only enhanced the state you were inâyou being flushed, or almost from his comment.
And he'd think and believe, that this current expression suited you far more than the hierarchy fitting description one you masked yourself with.
You sigh, walking a few steps towards him. âAs if I would act on malice,â you correct, fatigued, just arriving beside him, knowing he has you in his peripheral. âNo, but you are still actively trying to escape, are you not?â
âIf there's one thing that would unsettle me, it would be not able to move freely,â
â...Yet, you haven't, not once, have complained during your willing capture, especially when I was proving you immobile.â What are you doing, General. He berates himself internally just after saying that.
â...Your hands did feel better than these things after all,â silence. He answers with silence and three deep breaths, arms closed defensively, your words clearly, clearly affecting him, troubling him.
âSay,â he breaks the silence, and your amused humming. âAre you really fifty-thousand years old? Or did you mean it, harboring something of that age,â
âThe latter,â you're quick to answer, now turning heel, moving towards the edge of the platform, eyes squinted nonchalantly. âAre these skies endless as they seem, or is there something that would await you down there?â
âI wouldn't know.â âWhy nââ
âBecause I haven't indulged myself in a free fall,â
You turn, looking over your shoulder, meeting his golden eyes, unable to choose between annoyance or attraction from his sudden sarcasm.
âGeneral Jing Yuan,â a voice interrupts your reply, your head both turning to the source.
Mm. Jing Yuan, huh.
âAh, Lady Fu,â he'd acknowledge the pink haired's presence, placing her attention quickly to you, and it only amused you, given how she had this look of disapproval, a twinge of curiousity.
But of course, emotions are more stronger when facing the unknown.
âThe Matrix of Prescience is functioning at its finest, any unsealing, rudimentary or advanced would be completely left unscathed, and any type of escape will not be possible for the acting God as per dire request, at least, in 824 possibilities I've calculated fââ
âHow accomodating,â you interrupt, shooting the Diviner, and the General an unamused look, a wry smile to hide a slight bitterness that you won't deny within you.
âOnly for the best,â He'd add, low, teasing, grasping your attention effortlessly, noticing that slight tensing of your body language, quite liking the effect he had on you currently.
âOnly for me, then?â You're quick to retaliate, now striding towards him, smirking and you'd purposely exaggerate your movements, alluring and elegant as you move, catching that miniscule, quick shift in his eyes.
âFor the ones unwilling to share their truth,â he looks down as you arrive, indifferent you'd think, but he looked stiff, too professional, unnatural.
âAs if your questions wouldn't be answered if you asked in the first place,â you're correct and you know it. âI digress, Lady Herrscher,â the pink is quick to interrupt. âThere would be far more possibilities to assess if we were to take that free, unpremeditated route considering your claims of absolute destruction, whether it'd be the escape of your existence, endangering the Luofu, orââ
âThat gate, it is acting as a fine line between the stars, and your faction, yes?â you interrupt, liking the slight crease of annoyance between her eyebrows.
â...You would be correct.â Fu Xuan answers, jolting shortly after once your head lowers to her, eyes dark with suspicious amusement.
âBe aware, had your shortly assessed claims prove multiple chances of being true, I would have already done so the moment I stepped foot into what you call the Jade Gate,â you answer with a wry, cold smile, your voice carrying a serious tone this time, along with your expression just like earlier tall, menacing, and haunting.
But still beautiful, the thought nestles comfortably in Jing Yuan's mind, eliciting a heavy exhale through his nose, and you can't identify if it was exhaustion, or frustration, but what you have determined is that he was calm, too calm for someone who is in the presence of a Herrscher.
...Or do the concept of Herrschers not exist in this universe?
âHm,â the Diviner's eyes narrow, considering, thinking deeply, ignoring the threatening indications in your tone.
âThat would... erase 7,254 possibilities of you wreaking havoc, causing no harm and chaos towards the Xianzhou Alliance, as well as having the idealogy, the possibility of you being a Lord Ravager, as well as the part where your loyalties lie for the Aeon of Destructioââ
âThank you?â âIt isn't a coââ the General interrupts by movement, and the action of coughing dryly onto his fist, stepping in between both you, and the Diviner.
âMy lady, would you be so kind to indulge and alleviate our worries? It would be of much great help to the Xianzhou's mental fortitude, as well as mine,â he brings out his hand, trained, calloused yet well taken care of, towards the direction of the large, and no doubt advanced technology that was currently up and running, ready for you.
But, if you were to round up the little information you were given based on this sole interaction alone, this astral looking device would, in theory, be able to read, or pry into either your mind.
And that wasn't good for you, neither it is for the Houkai Energy that takes home in your body.
âI have a favor to ask both of you, and the Luofu,â they'd both perk, the word unexpected showing in their expressions to your sudden request.
âWhatever it is that is ongoing, cease everything once you witness something, anything, fluctuate, do everything to render me immobile, unable, or useless,â you'd look to the General for the last part of your sentence, a serious yet silent pleading on those lovely eyes, recognized by him.
He wouldn't need an explanation, he had already witnessed it, the sudden rouses of personality that didn't fit you, the physical and mental discomfort you displayed, grasping your head in earlier events and the radiant glow of your eyes.
âDo you understand, my mighty General?â
But even then, you'd still be able to surprise him, attract him despite being steeled by your vague warning, and that itself was dangerous already.
âI'm starting to destest this... lack of respect, and self preservation in your words and demeanoââ
âLet's... start, Lady Fu, let's not keep our guest, waiting,â such strong words, but you'd know that you've only greatly affected him, considering his guarded expression, stoic and stern, but his eyes continue to glue to yours, unidentifiable, but determined, you just don't know if it's something related a positive one or not.
'My' General, you say. He'd pause, attempting to keep composed, giving a subtle, brief squint to you while he played your those lines over and over in his head. "I could wait all the time for you,â you muse with a teasing chuckle, letting him guide you towards the platform of spheres.
Astrological symbols and starry projections, it was pleasing to the eye, but its mechanism were unbefitting of the aesthetics, knowing this enclosure is one that is enable to invade your mind, your memories and your being.
It's funny, you are to stand within something so similar to how you are, it was beautiful, primordial like, and it was also something that people didn't want to associate themselves with. Just like you.
Jing Yuan would hum, mirroring your amused expression, he could only assume what thoughts had presented themselves to you as you gaze towards the Matrix of Prescience.
Fu Xuan's emotions dive into the categories of reminiscence, nostalgia and a twinge of guarded anticipation, you being inside it bringing memories flickering, familiar imagery of cunning, allure and authority flashing your figure.
Kafka. She'd sigh heavily, now attaining suitable form, ready to dive into mysteries that settled surfaced, or deep in your mind.
âWhenever you're ready,â
Whenever they're ready. A crude internal voice slips out, causing you a slight discomfort.
Behave, I believe they have the technology to get rid of you, and they're just unaware of it.
And considering the possibility that without me, you are nothing.
What makes you, yourselfâis me.
I don't mind losing you.
You let your face muscles contract into a wicked grin on your face while your head remained low, your breathing intervallic with purpode to concentrate.
I've already found another that has the means and capacity to replace your greatness, if not greater. You look up, now taking witness to the light illuminating the entirety of you, all before placing your gaze at the General that stood with anticipation next to the initiator of this conduct.
You'd give up your divine principles for a nothing but a miniscule speck of human companionship?
Why not? You bore me.
...That is only the result of you not using me to immeasurable extents, destroying a continent, for example.
There are other ways to destroy things. Your chuckle is seen, confusing the Diviner and the Arbiter General, especially one that sounded out with endearment, especially once you bit your lip to the General.
You are all the same. Mm, yes.
I never did claim to abandon my humanity in the first place, no? That's nâ
âOh Miss lovely Diviner,â you call out, shunning the other internal voice out, closing your eyes, bliss and free, despite your restraints.
âYou will be dealing with three consciousness,â you open your eyes, biting your bottom lip to stifle laughter from the priceless reactions of disbelief and confusion in both their faces.
âWhat.â Her eyes leave whatever she was working onto the astral projection, constellations floating adrift within her hands, just like you at the current.
âWhat do you mean by... three consciousness?â
âSteady, you are unfocused,â you chuckle thereafter, your words only snapping her out of seconds worth of shock, denying to process her emotions of disbelief.
âIt is as literal as I can get, three, individual consciousness.â You bite your bottom lip harder, cheeks puffing and just stifling to let a sound of laughter out, your circumstances amusing the General as he crossed his arms, closing his eyes while you mused her with your teasing antics.
âMe, the last successor of the power I hold currently, and the culprit of ruination that I, have mentioned prior my captivityâthe lovely General would know what I'm referring to,â you glance briefly at the General, dead in the eyes, admiring him before returning your eyes to the Diviner.
âSo tread with utmost care, for once you stray off from mine, you will be dealing with fifty-thousand worth of memories, all filled with inconceivable amounts of terror... and otherworldly struggles.â
The familiar silence again, not including the sounds of stars and shapes moving around you, runes, magic circles appearing and diminishing in tempos. â...Do not take me lightly,â the Diviner refocuses, her attention and concentration towards the particles of light and spacial matter before her sights, and her fingertips.
âHmhm,â âYou need not tease her,â your full attention returns to the General, giving him that coy smile that unsettles and pleases him all in one.
âYou'd prefer if I do it to you instead, then?â
â...I said no such thing,â âI don't hear resistance.â
There, that color. It suits him, and he wears the hue so, so well. He'd look away, down to the ground to avoid your smug gaze, arms crossed, as if that defense would stop you from continuing your attacks. âYou hold so much beauty, General.â
Says you who continues to be frustratingly magnificent and irresistible. âFocus on the taââ
âMm, are you talking to me, or to yourself?â The General takes a deep breath, refusing to meet your gaze, his golden irises tearing away from yours and out towards the other platforms of the Divination Commission.
How long had it been since having himself indulge in interactions such as this? Too long.
You'd expect from the Mighty Arbiter General of the Luofu to not indulge himself in things that will hinder is work, distract him from protecting the Luofu, but you'd be surprise for how long 800 years can really be.
Eons that were accompanied by friends that named themselves longing, loneliness and emptiness, and even faced with emotions he wasn't acquainted with, the emotions being satisfaction, and this warming anticipation...â
He wouldn't, he wouldn't. He would not allow himself, or rather, the Mara wouldn't allow him.
He wouldn't let the one who will enter, capture and steal his heart witness his inevitable fate, one that involved the blossoming of ginkgo leaves, painted with the scarlet red that reeks of a cruel, unhappy death, he would rather justâlet no one suffer, he will protect those who need protecting.
But of five people, four had only paid the price.
And right now, the sight of you, all tied, almost vulnerable, mixing in with the memories of pleasant interactions you and him had since the encounter.
To seek out this vixen of a woman, play her games as she did with his, testing him, observing him in the same manner he would to her.
He would gladly be the last.
How could he resist? His charms, wit, intelligence, it was all mirrored by someone so cunningly attractive, not only in physical but the way you hold yourself, his reflected charms being reciprocated if not better?
It all made him feel good.
So good, and maybe, just maybe, he can finally... at least once more in his immortality, can he finally prioritize something else other than the Luofu, other thanââGeneral! General Jing Yuan!â
Yanqing? Familiar voices snap him out of his deep trance, eyes widened, confused, alarmed at the sight that came to be. Two floating blades of ice, both horizontal to block a large scale whip, it was dark, serpent like, exuding black mistsâand it retracts again, golden dust particles trailing off from the direction it had attempted to attack him.
The serpent like whip slithered, back, back and forwards again, movingââABOVE!â It attacks again, its speed and velocity unmatched for the ice swords the little commander, the density and strength once it clashes with four, five blades, overruling it, shattering each sword with ease.
âWatcâTch,â The General immediately acts, lunging and taking hold of the blonde boy to move out of the way, him being caught off guard making Jing Yuan barely dodge out of the way.
âAt ease, Yanqing,â Rubbles, dusts, the aftermath of the shock scathed his skin in small cuts and dust, ornamental clothes dirtied.
âS-Sorry General... I wasââ The platform gives out an unpleasant noise, one that threatened its unsteadiness as it rumbles.
His balance becomes unaffected once he steels himself, strong legs now bastioned against the floor, an arm wrapped around the blonde boy's torso. âConverge, and awaken!â Strategems of constellations manifest into the reality, its canvas a circular gradient of condensed energy, illustrated as magic circle of spatial patterns.
âLady Fuââ âIn short,â her summonings had fade, rejuvenating the two and those around within the vicinity within the Matrix of Prescience of fatigue and light injuries. The Master Diviner drifts down in glittering elegance, using her omniscial abilities to avoid rubble, footing now obtained, assuming a defensive stance to the omnidirectional moving whip, eyes attentive to any and every movement.
âA memory, one of most grief, it provoked something, triggered something. One moment she was well, infuriating, and what followed afââ
Grief? âIsâIs she... safe?â
âPhysically, that would be a given, but in psychological means...â She followed his automatic gaze, up towards where you were continued to reside in. You were still restrained, but there were new details no one would miss, the first of few being your struggle that showed on your face, eyes closed, teeth grinding against each other, beads of sweat trickling along your skin.
Your skin would have these cracks, dark mists with golden particles as rifts this time would be plastered vertically on one half of your face, like train tracks, down and down to your neck, to the fabric of where your chest was located. It was beaming, pulsing, bright, despite the dark mist that shrouded you whole.
A source? Plausible. He'd reaffirm his suspicions, setting down the blonde that continuously squirmed in his arms. âG-General whatââ
âRetreat, all of you.â Thank you for your consent.
He referred to your warning of earlier events, to stop you in your tracks, to harm you, to end you.
âB-Butâ!â âIf you will, Lady Fu.â She looks over her shoulder, glaring at him, mumbling 'fool' before encasing herself, Yanqing and those who were valiant in the field, all into her spherical realm of stars, disappearing from the premises of danger. âNow then,â the General resummons his glaive, light manifesting in accordance to his hand movements.
âAn attempt of harm towards the Master Diviner, my Cloud Knights, Commander Yanqing, and the Arbiter General,â he bends his knees, hands gripping the length of his weapon.
âCausing public disruption, disturbance and damage within the Divination Commission,â wind pressure forms, circular and forceful around him.
And including... particular indecencies. He adds internally, sighing, blushing, the General lifts his gaze to you, to the troubled you, radiant with no peace, veiled in darkness.
âBy order of one of the Seven Arbiter Generals, you are to face judgement through the Ten-Lords Commission,â he lunges, strong and with intense speed, up and above with a grunt escaping him.
âA punishable degree, possible of long time imprisonment within Shackling Prisââ he jolts, offensive form faltering the moment he sees your eyes open slowly. âWelt... Welt Yang,â you mutter, rasp and low, struggling to maintain hold in your consciousness. What? He retracts, stopping the subconscious swing he was about to do, maintaining to float as lightning crackled all over him, keeping him leveled to you.
âTh-The Sovereign...ââ You're quite accommodating, keeping this man at bay for me.
The moment your eyes widened in realization to your surroundings, the sight before already had taken a drastic turn, he had barely parried the serpent-like whip with his glaive, his strength barely able to hold against the weight and thickness of the entity like weapon.
Tch. You squirm, struggling, remembering the binds that hold you in place. âGeneral!â You hold out both arms out towards his direction, desparate, giving your wrists out to him.
He sees you from the corners of his eyes, glancing for a second before forcing his focus to the assailant that threatens his life with ease.
Without hesitation, the General uses the weight of the whip, lowering his usage of strength and himself, now using the overwhelming momentum to force it downwards, barely dodging the vertical strike by tilting his side, a sharp air following, grazing his skin.
âQuite contradicting, are you?â His admirable strength and words that followed up bring you a sense of relief, amusement afterwards, as after images of parallel strikes, vertical, horizontal, diagonal free you from your binds.
âYou like it,â you don't miss the chance to tease, grinning, moving your wrists to the opposite of each other, now moving with after-image like speed. âDo I distract you that much, General?â
âYou-...â Instinct, instinct, instinct. His irises dilate, now sensing, feeling a throbbing dread that put him in a stunlocââFocus,â you say, clicking your tongue, appearing just right infront of him again.
Your reflexes act, hands moving in elegant patterns, your own abilities manifesting that familiar golden dust-like summons as each particle hardens, coming into contact with multi-shooting, razor sharp attacks, parrying them in unsettling precision.
I truly don't understand the need to protect such selfish, greedy, imperfect anthropoids.
Cease your pet, I don't like how it uses my body to fuels itself.
Hmhm, you carry me most of your life, what's the difference of another presence?
It invades and drains me continuously, in a disgusting, putrid way most possible. Unlike you.
Flattering, somewhat, but no. Sounds of cracking could be heard, but you wouldn't hesitate to reinforce, the space all around you and the General filled with aerial destruction and explosions with each attack and defense.
You multitask, sighing, a hand moving lazily, snapping your fingers to the air beneath the two of you, setting up a barrier to protect those that remain on the Divination platform, and the whole floating structure itself.
You didn't have to protect, but you did. The natural reactionâno, reflex, for you being another surprise to the General, his eyes lowered to the see through glass-like barrier, protected from debris and the individual entity that caused the mayhem in the first place.
Then again, it did still stem from you, no?
The General glances back up to you, now standing idle, strucked with disorientation, his thoughts clashing with one another, like what you were currently doing right now.
No, you were performing, this was just another day for you, another day of familiarity. Just how much did you lose, endure in order to reach this state of almost Aeon-like advancements?
How... exhausted were you despite the strength you held? Those eyes, not once have they glimmered like in earlier events as you fend off the stray that came from you, or wherever else it came from. The radiance in your eyes, dulling, bored as it dilates to every precise attack it brings you, pinpointing its contact points with precision.
Not even Phantylia reached one-tenth of your speed and summoning.
âSorry,â you mutter under your breath, only once had the sounds of explosions cease briefly, your unexpected apology heard and snapping Jing Yuan out of his thoughts. âI'm horrible,â you add, weak and nonchalant, but that undertone of bitterness was clear. To him only anyways.
He straightens, glancing between you, and what you had graced the ether with. A blazing, field of gold, mixed with a flashing images of the thick, dark colored serpentine that continued its relentless attacks, and you were still protecting not only him, but the whole Divination Commission space.
You were one to erase stars, your history of destruction painting over the world with your own light. Only to realize, in that self-made darkness, you were left alone time after time, surrounded by the Houkai you left behind. Huh? What?
...Don't mix your cognitive fragments with mine.
As if I could help it? You click your tongue in annoyance, deciding this situation was far too unnecessary, prolonged. You raise your hand, two fingers targeting the fast moving serpent, an orb that simulated a black hole, materializing, pulsing at the tip of your middle finger, the difference to it would be the color and how it worksâit being made something of purity, transparency, visible-esquĂ© sound waves, the closest you could describe it with, silly it may sound.
Hmph, you were experimenting with me.
A warning, actually. It surges, the orb sending off towards what your other conscience had manifested in speed even you can't quite grasp.
A low buzz it emanated, it was invisible to the naked eye, but not the sharp splitting of the clouds, Jing Yuan unable to process the severity of your strength as the clouds separate in a visible, razor sharp line. It was booming once it claimed impact, and you were unphased at the sound of a high frequency sounding explosion, once the serpentine expands in a gruesome way, withered and dissolving in its next sequences of death. It was just another day for you, but you can't say the same for the General.
Even in his 800 year long longevity.
He sighs, heavy. It's over. â...And you call you self horrible, after such a commendable, otherwordly feat?â The small frown that didn't suit your face goes unnoticed, right as you safely lower yourself and the General, drifting towards safety and back to the land. Minimal damage, in your eyes, but it was still damage, one that you had caused inevitably.
âWhat's commendable about all this, General?â
Rubble, cracks. Disorder, panic and peril. All in deafening, hollow silence. You'd see some people in the other platforms, safe, distanced yet disoriented, and their slowly increasing panic will become so much more once they will come to a realization that someone foreign to the Luofu had caused something so terrible.
Since visitation, of this grand hexafleet, whether it was brief or not, you would notice a troubling aura in the air, and beautifulâthe skies, covered in raining gold, each leaf that welcomed themselves everywhere felt malicious, and the thought of causing destruction, hidden in beauty, hidden in aesthetics, it had set something so primal within you, it sickened you, disgusted you.
Given the chance, you would want to shrivel up in agony, processing the fact that these people's higher entities, hide their indefinite strength of terror behind something, masked in something.
They hide behind their emanators, commanding them, upholding their bidding, bestow them with a piece of their strength, and give those who choose and preside their path an even smaller fragmentâall for what, exactly?
Lazy, prideful, lawless and with no purpose. They make factions based on their powers, limit those who follow their path with one or a few goals, dedicated to benefitting their Aeons wishes.
A few words out of many that you would describe how Aeons are really are. Then there's you, a Herrscher, one from a world that wasn't theirs, a concept they cannot understand, but it is human nature that they will try to do soâand it was human nature to take control of what threatens their species. Unknown specimens like you.
â...The IPC, as well as the Intelligencia Guild will certainly take interest in you, Miss Herrscher,â he breaks the silence, snapping you out from your heavy thoughts. He stood beside, staring with you onto the unpleasant sight. âThey already have,â you add, moving your head to his direction, meeting his eyes, eyes that held softness.
âJust like me then,â you squint, processing his words. âYou look at me as if I didn't just almost destroy a bit of architecture within the faction you lead, General.â You both fight back grinning, stifling the sly corners of your lips.
âAnd you certainly berate yourself like you just didn't protect the Divination Commission,â you clench your fist. This was protection? You tear away from his gaze again, letting the guilt overtake your amusement instantly, viewing the destructive sight you created. âYou attempted to minimize the damage with the barrier, you kept your defenses purposeful, accurate, precise,â
He turns fully towards you, taking your attention with no effort, his words casually welcoming that swelling, warm feeling inside you again.
âYou haven't attacked, not once during when my soldieâwhen I, encountered you,â what. The said heat only creeps up, up and up, grounded all over your face, spread to your ears. He was knelt on one knee, a hand placed over his chest, and all you could do was stare and still, trying to gain control over your facial muscles.
âOnly until the last second, where you claimed victor against what threatened the Luofu, attacking only once, and it wasn't against our faction,â he looks up, assuming that charming smile, shifting even more into amusement once he took witness to your cute, confused expression, painted in flustered red.
âI didn't doââ âYou did more than what I could,â
It really wasn't much. You purse your lips, not expecting him to interrupt and retaliate immediately. âI don't know how many more favors the Xianzhou Alliance will continue to owe, but with defending a part of our faction,â he lowers his head, bowing down.
âThe Arbiter General will personally see to it that what you have caused within the Divination Commission would be sentenced to something more... forgiving.â Oh. That was funny. The audible exhale catches his attention, now rising his head to see you smiling widely, fighting back to laugh. âI was going to say... it would be very unsettling if I were somehow left unpunished,â
He'd mirror your expression, now pushing on his knee to stand, your gaze following his height as he stood tall, ravishing, and amused to your antics. âMm, perhaps it would also be a chance to lengthen your stay, at least for a bit longer,â
âMissing me at the thought of my departure already, General Jing Yuan?â You'd see him freeze, his breathing paused, but his eyes would not dare to leave yours. If only you knew how deeply affected he was by you addressing him with his name the first time since the entirety of this.
â...You're dangerous,â he tilts his chin up, golden irises darkening with a certain glint.
âI did warn you,â you reply in the same tone, taking a step, closing the two-hand inch gap by one, your womanly instincts having a chance to let loose as your eyes mirrors his glint, seducing, alluring, and the cherry on top being that chesire-like grin, captivating him further.
And you knew he referred not with your strength, but the way you kept him provoked, challenged, on his toes, teasing and testing this generous, fine line between professionalism and another.
Your eyes shift instantly, a reflex as you see movement from him, his hands near reaching for your waisââTHERE YOU ARE!â A high pitched voice, all so familiar, jolts the both of you in place.
âAh, it's Mar-... WhââThis pink fool. Your foot rotates to her direction with dark prism-like barriers, quickly materializeling and sequenced like dominos towards her direction as she takes her rough landing with an 'oomph'.
âHAhua! See Mr. Yang? I told you she'd be fast enough to catch me!â Yang? Ah. You cock your head to the side, seeing past march to see a few others following her direction, towards you.
âThatâthat was still reckless March,â The Vidyhadra groans disapprovingly, only to have March laughing wryly while she rubbed the back of her head. âI'll... have to agree with Dan Heng, even I couldn't have done anything if something were to go wrong.â Welt adds, moving along with Dan Heng, two twins following along behind, only for one to shove past between her twin and the Vidyhadra, runningâno, sprinting with emergency towards March, tackling her.
âMm,â the whole spectacle leaves you dumbfounded, yet nostalgic in silence, all while familiar individuals gather and move towards you and the General. You assume they were called for assistance, but Welt would already assess that everything was already over, despite the disorder.
â...Whatever it is waiting for me,â you take the chance to break off the confusion, having a limited amount of privacy with the General left.
âI wouldn't mind being imprisoned again if it means keeping myself under your gaze, my General,â you return your sly, confident gaze to him, only for that to crumble, not having enough time to react and process as he leaned towards you swiftly.
âThen,â you let him lower your guard, letting him make you feel vulnerable, small yet womanly, letting that hand of his, opposite from the nearing group, slither from your hips, up towards your waist, seducing and with purpose, gripping your curve firmly as your cheeks brush against each other.
âShall I bring further judgement to increase your punishment, Miss Herrscher?â
reblogs boost my audience reach, thank you.

Imagine Fu Xuan being totally absolutely in love with you.
Fu Xuan x Male!Reader
Reader is referred to as y/n and is taller than Fu Xuan, reader has muscles, him/he, etc.
You were a high-ranking officer within the Cloud Knights and were a frequent presence in the Divination Commission.
But Fu Xuan never had any reason to talk with you, well, unless you were talking with Jing Yuan about something, and then she would always put herself within the conversation with the hopes of you noticing her.
"General Jing Yuan, L/n Y/n."
You talking with the general about an important matter just so happened to be one of those days, so Fu Xuan would take her chance.
"Ahh! Hello Lady Fu, it's lovely to see you today!"
You were as bright as ever. Your smile, your eyes. You were as tall as the General too. Though you had more muscle then the general.
She could feel how her heart swooned when you took notice of her, but she was quick to make sure the delight didn't show on her face.
"It isn't everyday you come here, l/n."
You gave a sheepish laugh, "y- yeah," you said as you scratched the back of your head, "we've been having trouble with some of mara struck, so I just came by to ask for reinforcements."
That was another thing about you. You were strong. She had no doubt in her mind that the reinforcements were for your men so they wouldn't die as you would charge to the front and take out all the threats.
"You'll be fine even without reinforcements. The same can be said for your men."
"Oh really? Did you see that in a divination?"
"I-," she coughed a little, "I did."
Truth be told, she checks your divination often which was how she knew you would be here today.
"I see! Well, if we truly don't need the extra man power, then I'll head back now and finish the job. The others are probably waiting for me anyway," you turned to Jing Yuan, "see ya, general!"
"To you as well, friend."
And as the two watched you leave, Jing Yuan turned to Fu Xuan, a knowing smile on his lips, "turning me into a third wheel, I see. I wonder ... when exactly you'll tell him how you feel."
She blushed furiously at his words, "that's none of your business!"
Besides, how could she confess to you? She may be the one and only Fu Xuan, but she too has her own insecurities to deal with...

珊ç â unexpected (girl)friend
° FEM READER / WLW
synopsis : you never expected to be friends with fu xuan and perhaps you shouldnt, especially when fu xuan doesnt know what she does to your heart
you didn't know what you were getting into when befriending fu xuan
she's known for being all kinds of things, ranging from good and bad. some call her mean while some admire her. it's just by chance, she seemed interested in you enough to befriend you
currently, fu xuan had taken a break from her newly acquired duties and went out to see if you guys could catch something today. you guys managed to find a snake but it seemed too scared as it ran away
"lady fu, you have some leaves in your hair⊠ah, you have work soon. forgive me, if i hadnt been so excited i wouldnt have invited you here"
"you need not to worry, i am fine"
"but your clothes are dirty!"
"its only a bit of dirt, i am sure i can simply brush it off before then. either way, if getting my clothes dirty means being able to have a pleasant time with you then i do not mind"
fu xuan can be so unbelievably charming at times without realizing it. but she definitely noticed how you got flustered all of a sudden
"lady ___?"
"nothing!"
fu xuan's unknown charms are definitely not good for your heart

Idk if it's bc I'm queer but sometimes I see those "shipping" charts that have the most absurd hetero ships I've ever seen on them and no queer ships and I'm like ???? Or even the ones that have "despise" for certain popular gay ships but have a straight ship that is dry as hell and I'm just like, you couldn't even chose the straight ships with actual chemistry
#this is about hsr ship charts I see on hoyolab#they are some of the most insane things I've ever seen#one I just saw had qingque x arlan#???????????#you're going to ignore arlan and asta??? the pining the one-sided unrequited love??#and if you're looking for a dynamic of hardworker x slacker#fu xuan is right there#but no apparently they ship fu xuan with Jing yuan#insanity I tell you#I NEED TO RANT ABOUT THIS#also like I get people not like renheng despite the chemistry bc that shit toxic and angsty as hell#but them people are out here avoiding or putting despise/dislike on every gay ship#but ppl in the comments like 'its not homophobic!!! they just prefer straight ships bc they relate better!!!'#besties you ship caelus and March but not stelle and March but it's the same person#get a grip
