THE MUFFIN GUY... such an old oc ough. their name is chocolate! they run a bakery! they have a bit of a "shy ditzy uwu baby" personality going on, but its a front- in reality they are completely obsessed with making everyone love them, which gets worse and worse and eventually consumes them and drives them to do actually terrible things. they ran a bakery, but started looking into how to create alchemical love potions and put them into their goods. and it only went downhill from there, because even when people were forced to adore them, chocolate still didnt see it, so they just kept trying and trying and putting more and more things into their creations <:'] they ended up turning into a nekomata but i have no good images of that, SOBS. they need a yandere-ass song that isnt already in another playlist for me to get the inspiration to try again tho im music-oriented augh

AND BROKEN RECORD. i want to clarify first off that if youre a fan of unbound, broken record IS NOT "his reflection" that i draw sometimes, that thing is older both in-universe and out of universe (and represents something specific rather than is someone specific).

OKAY ANYWAY. basically, i use my favourite son polaris a lot. in a lot of different aus. broken record is, essentially, the concept of: what if, one time, just once, polaris got to see his own fate repeat a hundred thousand times and snap like a rubber band. so basically its the fun concept of "a" polaris from one multiverse who has completely, utterly, given up on his own existence and decided the one true way to end his suffering is to remove every iteration of himself. because really why not.

he gets better tho. eventually.

also its got fun symbolization of being depressed if you look at it long enough . i am obsessed over polaris he is my favourite boy if i dont think about him for five minutes i disintegrate

What does "c!" mean

it’s short for character (or canon), it’s used to differentiate between the streamers/youtubers and their characters

it’s more common in certain areas of the mcyt fandom and there’s variations of it (for example q! is used to mean qsmp for those characters etc); i don’t always use it because 9/10 times im talking about the characters but it’s nice to clarify sometimes imo

been thinking about pok a lot again and that moment when riz told him sklonda was dating gorthalax (in some capacity or another) and pok just went quiet for a bit before he wished her well and like. he's riz's father to such a degree that it hurts. he died young, got to paradise and then said, ok time to go back to work, chop chop. and he does take breaks to listen to riz at his grave and he works in a beautiful meadow when he's not down in hell and -literally speaking- he does sit down but metaphorically he keeps on going and going.

and i'm just imagining that- obviously he knows that he's dead, right? but the human* brain is weird in that way where you'll know things, and you might even sit with them and think you've processed them, but then something will hit you out of left field and you'll realize there are so many aspects of the situation you hadn't internalized yet, and i think that one of those aspects for pok was sklonda, or rather all the dimensions in which her life branched off after he died. because with riz he'd always been painfully aware that his kid was growing up and changing, but with sklonda it's a bit more complicated, it's a bit easier to process the grief of being apart from her, purely on an unconscious level, as being away for work. he's working, she's working, she probably tells him about her work and about riz and riz includes his mom in his stories and it's like, oh this is horribly painful, that i can't be there, but in a way he and sklonda share a lot of what they used to when he was working abroad, no matter how far apart- they're always connected by their love for each other and the quiet but omnipresent nuptial tie and the state of being riz's parents.

and then he's suddenly hit with the reality of an area of sklonda's life that hadn't been on his mind before, considering they were happily and monogamously married. truly just a matter of like, this is not a space you occupy anymore, you're fucking dead, until death do us part and all that, and she might still love you but she loves you like a dead husband like a source of grief like the man she once knew not a living partner. and it's neither of their faults, it's purely a tragedy, and he genuinely wishes her the best because he loves her, he doesn't want her to be alone nor does he expect her to be faithful past reason and the vow they made to each other. but the grief of it still really fucking stings, doesn't it?

Erin HELP. How do you get out of writer’s block. Please. I’m stuck and I have NO idea how to continue on and I’ve already rewritten said scene twice 😭😭

i have to break it to you now... writer's block is a bit of a misnomer. instead of a writer's block (or art!!) i would call it a "writer shift" or "level up," when you feel like everything you're writing is terrible, it's because you're growing as an artist! you're just seeing your art with a more critical eye, learning and adjusting. which i can probably get to another time because that's not what you asked

so!!! what is probably happening is that you don't like your outline as much as you think you do. this happens to me ALL the time. i go into a chapter thinking that i've got everything i want all set up and then i'm surprised when i procrastinate or i rewrite it several times (my record is 8 times). a good 86% of the time i end up changing my outline and trying again and it goes much better for me

if that isn't what's happening or you just REALLY like your outline, there might be another problem and here's some ideas:

go back and read your set up to that scene. you might not have given it a proper introduction/natural progression into what comes next, or you might be forgetting something

try drawing out a map of your setting and imagine your characters walking around it. there might be some white room action happening and it's bothering you

it could be something about your dialogue! try acting out your dialogue in a one person play and see if it feels natural for you to say (as in like, technicality. if you can't literally say the words then it might be hard for your reader to read) and if it feels like something your character would say

Getting a lot of questions about this so I'm adding on.

I'm getting the Ferrari was lying about tire temps because, multiple times, Charles was adamant that his tires were in the right temperature window. It seems unlikely to me that he wouldn't be able to tell at all that his tires were getting too far out of the window, especially given the skill he's demonstrated at managing his tires.

Additionally, I find it - shall we say - interesting that after each time Carlos questioned about Charles or brought up the race pace Charles was told to start lifting and coasting.

Honestly I hope Charles reads them the fucking riot act for lying to him the whole race about tire temps.

Ferrari willingly and idiotically sacrificed a 1-2 because Carlos was scared of actually having to defend against Charles.

It's always only the "team game" when Carlos is in the lead.

OF COURSE BABES. first of all for anyone who doesn't know there are a lot of different types of OCD, and no matter what type or types you have, you could not find someone more supportive than Leo motherfucking Valdez. OCD is hard to have and hard to treat and guess what???? he's gonna learn everything he can about it and work with you to figure out how to help you when things are bad and good and all the little uppy downy in between parts.

if you have the contamination kind and you're always stuck feeling like nothing's clean enough, Leo understands. no matter what your symptoms are or how bad they get, Leo's love for you and deep knowledge that you are an amazing, wonderful, incredible person never wavers. he loves you. he loves being with you, he loves helping you, he loves being the one to care for you.
