About the said ‘Akira is probably just really attentive’ towards you.. let's expand a little bit on that.

The first time you met each other at a nearby Cafe, you were surprised. The pictures of Akira on discord didn't do justice to what he looks like in real life, this guy was walking around as if he just came out of a red carpet..

Aside from that, his personality was still the same as online. Teasing, snarky, he's still got that attitude, and of course playful — he was the fun type you'd want to be friends with. But, he really was your type.

You couldn't resist glancing towards his neck from time to time, hell — you couldn't even make eye contact without being mentally flustered. "Is something wrong?" He'd ask, but you'd immediately shake your head and go along with what he's saying.

I mean, Akira didn't know your address, why are you asking why he knew the way back to your home? He used to live here.

"W-woah.. we have more in common than I thought!" You beamed while Akira smiled softly, it looks like his hard work did pay off. All that late night searching, perfecting and practicing — it was worth it in the very end because you were finally here.

Akira could see you, touch you, feel you, make you feel things you've never felt — ah, how he wishes he could go back in time just to see your horrified expression when you almost got doxxed by someone anonymous.

Of course, he was the one to comfort you at the time, the way you opened up to him about everything, finally letting him know of your feelings.. It was worth every little thing he had worked hard for.

It didn't matter if he had a small or huge fan base what mattered was you being right beside him, experiencing hardships and hope. Akira could do anything, he could try his best — he's not perfect, he has many flaws he'll admit that.

But..

It was worth it if it was you.

Akira was glad that the world hasn't ended yet. Not that it would happen any time soon but — he'd want to be next to you even if it was a life or death situation.

Prologue

So I’ve been thinking about how I’m gonna start doing a Behind The Scenes for Hollow Knight Resurrected And, while I’ve put a ton of theming in the series. I think there’s one theme that really permeates the whole thing. This theme kinda came about by accident… but it’s the least surprising thing in the world that it’s all over these videos, because it’s how the videos came to be at all: Never let anyone tell you that rage and spite cannot create something beautiful. Especially if the thing you’re raging against is “The Way Things Are.” People will try to tell you it is dishonorable to fight against the dark to reach the end of the tunnel. Fight them too. They put the tunnel there. And that light at the end doesn’t just exist in front of you, it’s above you, and if the walls and ceiling of the tunnel cease to exist, that light would shine on you, and all the people you love, where you stand.

But of course the thing I was spiting at the time was the Youtube Algorithm, so if that up there resonated with you, sorry about that kick in the balls lol.

Anyway that’s no secret. That’s how I announced I was gonna be making Hollow Knight videos again! But it ultimately starts with the idea I had for Whenever Silksong came out was a more narrative focused series than my Hollow Knight one, and maybe a little longer running because the only content youtube would recommend to anyone from our channel was the Hollow Knight videos despite the overall praise that they got. They just didn’t get as many immediate views.

But I had an idea of the character I wanted hornet to be. That’s why she’s the best characterized bug early on. And if I ever do end up doing that Silksong series, not a lot of that will have changed. My original idea for Hornet is still very much who she is currently in HKR, I’ve just delved a little deeper. I liked to play a wide swath of games. I’ve never liked to stick to one for very long, and if I was gonna stick to one, it was probably going to be something like Path of Exile. But Hollow Knight is a game that’s good as hell. But I kind of resented youtube for Pigeonholing me into being a Hollow Knight Youtuber. But, it was getting to the point where the channel was just slowly wasting. And, well, Silksong did not come out. And the things that gave us the big views were the Hollow Knight videos. This was on top of me having a pretty bad year. A couple of my family members got very sick from cancer, My dad had mostly decided to remove himself from my life, and I’d gotten into a car crash. So, Fuck it. New Hollow Knight series.

Now having my friends do voice acting was kind of a new idea. And ultimately, just a really good one. I’d had them do some quotes on some of my video essays. But voice acting characters was something I’d just started having them do. The first one was the video directly preceding the Hollow Knight ones. A Dyson Sphere Simulator video about building a giant penis! It was a lot of fun and taking that route into Hollowest was ultimately the best possible way to go! The original idea was to make it a prologue to what the Silksong videos were going to be. Just kind of a short jaunt through Hollownest where I spent one episode per area. And then after every video, put a little advertisement for my other videos to maybe get people to watch those, and then maybe youtube would start recommending them, and then I become un-pigeonholed.

And to be clear. The thing I said in the announcement video where I pointed out it was not the fault of anyone who watched my videos that they didn’t get big. Still true. Youtube Fucked me. Not my fans. I’ve been incredibly lucky on youtube honestly! The very worst comments I’ve gotten have been along the lines of “Broo you’re still doing Hollow Knight stuff? Booring” And contrasting with the best comments that have been close to “this series changed my life” The community I’ve grown and the fans I’ve gotten have always surprised me as being fantastically supportive and wonderful. I might have the most positive comments section in all of youtube! But that means there’s no controversy, so there’s no hatewatching. Youtube would much prefer some toxicity. The only sin the Graveyard Media fans have committed is being way to chill.

But if you’re wondering why I haven’t stopped, even though it didn’t work to stop the channels decline, it’s the same reason that it didn’t become a simple one episode per zone series. Because the more I did, the more I fell in love with what I was making. And the more I wanted to nurture it and make it into something I was proud of. If it was gonna be the youtube channels Last Hurrah, I wanted to make is such a hurrah that it will be worthy of remembrance! (Can’t even keep myself from the LOTR bullshit in this lmao)

And I’m proud of what I’ve done on it. And all the best stuff is still to come. I’ve saved most of it for the final episode. And I’m gonna try and get that done too! Because if I can keep going after all I’ve been through, god will need to come down from heaven with a gun and shoot me in the head if he wants me to stop!

Hollow Knight Resurrected (1/?): Discovering Myself

A small amnesiac bug finds themselves in the fallen kingdom of Hallownest, following a calling he doesn’t understand.

He was actually really surprised the fall didn't kill him. Really, though, what had possessed him to jump off a cliff like that? He couldn't even see the bottom from where he had been standing, the dark ground swallowed by the void below. It was a miracle he hadn't eaten complete shit and shattered his mask into little pale shards, snapping his legs like brittle twigs.

He was alive though, knees and mask intact. That was something to be proud of...maybe.

"Finally," he said to himself, as though narrating for an audience, "after a long journey and a lot of time, I've ended...up...here. And now that I'm here I can—"

The shrieking winds above him drew his attention, reminding him that he didn't actually know why he had jumped. Or what he was looking for. Or—

"Actually, before I answer those questions: who is me? What does they do, usually?" What a weird question. Didn't people usually know who they were? What a weird fucking thing, for him to not know who he was. He knew he was a he, for starters. He knew he had a pale white mask and a soft cloak and a black carapace. He knew he had a nail on his back that was so much older than he was.

He knew he had to do...something?

"Maybe two birds with one stone." He decided. "Maybe the reason I'm here is because I need to find out who I am and I'll figure it out as I go." Yeah, that seemed right. Just keep moving, follow that feeling. That will lead to answers. He just knew it.

The area he was in was achingly lovely, in a lonely and haunted way. The resounding silence, only broken by the howling wind above, only heightened the effect. The cool blue ore-shell aggregate that made the floor and walls of this place were cold beneath his claws. His steps echoed loudly in empty halls as he tried to walk down the hall, only to be met with a door of some kind.

Whatever, he didn't have time for this. He drew his nail and used the blunted weapon to shatter the door into fragments, revealing more of the same hallway.

Man, breaking things was fun as hell.

Swinging his nail wildly as he walked, cutting grass and breaking decorative fixtures, he shattered another door. Behind this one was more hallway, but also—

"An animal!" The small insect—a small skittering thing with a grey carapace and small mandibles—crawled along the floor towards him, seemingly unafraid. The sight of the small thing so unafraid of its surroundings tugged at something within him. Perhaps this was self-actualization? A hint to his person? "Maybe I'm friend to animals?! Hello there you little—" The insect collided with him and bit his leg, its small mandibles dealing almost no damage to anything but his pride. "—bastard motherfuck!"

Mid-snarl, reactionary, he swatted the insect with his nail. The blade, though unkempt, tore through a hinge in the plating and drew a spurt of orange ichor. The little bug rolled over with the force and did not get back up.

It took him a moment to slow his breathing. Longer still to gather his wits and realize what he had done. His nail lolled, slack in his grip, the tip dripping orange into the dirt.

"I just killed that. And I feel no remorse?" It's not as if he was being irrational here. In spite of killing a bug—one that was doing almost nothing wrong—he felt nothing. Maybe the movement in his abdomen was hunger? Was he hungry? He was pretty sure he didn't have any kind of mouth.

That was besides the point. Self-actualization. He had discovered something about himself. "Murderer! I must be a murderer!" Having recovered from the momentary shock, he continued on down the long hallway in front of him, shattering doors and slaughtering more of those little grey bugs as they got in his way.

Really, he wasn't sure why he was so worried about being its friend in the first place. It was a beast, a mindless little animal. Probably something at the bottom of the food chain, considering how it didn't seem to notice or care about him until he was in its way. Some scavenger or something would pick up the corpse and eat well.

Plus, killing things was thrilling. Being a murderer was an easy title to attach to his blank sense of self. Especially considering how effortlessly and precisely he swung his nail. That was not the attack of a panicked bug. That was the swing of someone who knew what they were doing.

The hallway emptied into a tall room with a few platforms poking out of the wall. One of those small crawling bugs wandered away from him—safe from his nail today—but he wasn't looking at it. He was looking up, at the curving path that looked like it was going somewhere. He hopped up on one of the platforms and tried to plan his next move.

Anyway, where was he? Oh, right. He had just realized he was a murderer.

Keith's love language is definitely act of service and gift giving. It's one of his strong suits since it came so naturally over him, he'd always remind you that he only shows this side to you because you are special to his eyes. Of course, some employee who overhead it will be the one who's flustered instead.

You two don't have a label in your point of view, but in Keith's? He practically thinks it's your 4th anniversary! He just loves you so much, why can't you just accept his love and let him trap you in his safe space? You won't have to work, do chores and even lift a finger. Keith would happily do anything you wanted, your needs mattered more than his.

Keith is the type to let the situation defuse by itself but when dealing with someone getting in his way to finally make you his — he's not above to resorting to violence. Even if Keith soft to you, he will never hesitate to resort to bad behavior just to make you stay by his side, like an actual loyal partner.

Murder wasn't a second choice, it was always the first choice. It didn't matter if it was a simple misunderstanding or a little trouble, there was no harm in ending lives when it came to you. Keith doesn't find blood dirty, he finds it fascinating. Blood keeps your heart pumping, blood runs through your veins at this very moment, it's something he likes feeling, touching.

That CEO is no psychopath, he calls it affection. Can't you see all the efforts he did just so that you could be in a higher position? Did you not acknowledge everything he did to you during highschool? During middle school? College? Do you not remember Keith? It was a shame, but this time he would make sure that you'd remember him for the rest of your life.

Even if you run away, quit your job, live in another country. Keith will always follow in any shape or form, he'll engrave the memories you spent together in your stupid brain, he'll carve his name into your skin and watch it bleed with your blood.

Keith is a normal guy. He's distant and cold, he keeps everything to himself, and he certainly doesn't like sharing.
