more specifically, he's been popping up on everyone's notebooks -- even mine -- for some sort of 'gateway' to our world?? what does that even mean
so in an attempt to not make him kill me when he can, i've decided to accomodate his living area; look, there's even him as a little boy! he's obsessed with that for some reason

In today’s episode of Stephanie Draws, we’ve got wood burning!
I acquired a flat-pack beehive all ready for me to draw on. It started with the nautilus... and went dinosaurian from there.
I was originally just going to do sea monsters, but including spinosaurus was too tempting. There’s nothing like that tadpole-tail to absolutely date your work to the 2020-2021 s. Who knows what science will decide next.
Another mystical eyelien sighted after materializing from in-psyd-out-of-space from the caleidoscopic visions of a tropical-fruit-eating psychonaut.

The heart of the Arts Quarter, the Art Hive. It’s an open glass structure based on octagonal rooms (because we can’t build hexagons). There is lots of light, which is perfect for crafting, painting, making music and simply enjoying art. There’s also space for the younger artists and for those who prefer more digital forms of art. The more rustic type of art has not been forgotten, there’s woodworking, pumpkin carving, fabricating, flower arranging and candle making. And for the less creative, there’s a nice bar with bubble blower on the upper floor.
A first record in seven years can be a tentative step for many bands, for some it can be a delicate retreading of recently healed wounds, for others a desire to reignite a dwindling creative flame. Thankfully, every member of Dirty Three has been more than busy since 2005's Cinder, guitarist Mick Turner has built a reputation as a Melbourne-based artist while running Anchor & Hope and playing in Tren Brothers with drummer Jim White, who himself has been recording/performing with such acts as Bonnie Prince Billy, PJ Harvey, Cat Power and Nina Nastasia. And then of course violinist Warren Ellis' work with Nick Cave in Grinderman, as well as scoring soundtracks to a number of Hollywood films. That's a helluva seven years. No creative dwindling here.
So they return with Toward The Low Sun, still energetic, still raw and chaotic, still hauntingly romantic, still fucking good.
'Rising Below' is the fourth track off Toward The Low Sun, which will be released through Bella Union on the 27th of February.
