Hello Hi and good timezone friend! I love the daily stories you write, and appreciate every single one of them. I was curious, however, if you knew why peakd always asks for the page to be reloaded when I go to read? Is there something wrong that I'm doing when I click on the link, or is it some strangeness in the code. If you donno, that's fine, and it's def not keeping me from reading, but google won't tell me so...

I honestly have no idea. It does that to me seemingly every other day. Given the update notices on their Discord, I'm moderately certain it's tinkering under the hood.

They're always trying to improve things on Peakd, and initiating mechanics based on user input/petitions. Reloading for a new version doesn't seem that bizarre to me.

Peakd has had a minor aneurism and deleted like a month's worth of my story posts. Or at least rendered them inaccessible.

I have all the stories backed up and several options for restoring them. IF that proves to be necessary. I'm waiting for advice for the people behind the curtain.

For all I know, this is a temporary hiccough and all will be back to normal after a long rest.

I am trying very hard to not panic. I advise y'all to do the same.

I can not reply to this post but through re-blogging I can add how I feel about people using ai to copy original works. I am not OK with it. DO NOT use the style of a living artist and claim the work to be yours. Even if you have to do some crappy art work in ms paint then throw it into ai that is FAR better. I myself use stable diffusion and will not use living artists styles. Most of my work can be found on peakd.
