Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.

Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.

My own personal take on why Macaque fur isn’t usually white despite being, well, a macaque. And since MK also owns his shadow powers weeeeelll… Also MK is much more towards the blonde than the white since he still took from Wukong fur color.

I'm sure someone's already brought this up but like. Viktor is still wearing the goddamned Blanket™️ here. Look at the inner part of it. It's red. The outside is sun-bleached and covered in arcane corruption, but that interior is still the SAME COLOR AS THE BLANKET. It has a bit of corruption on it, but at least for me, this is the same blanket. He kept it.

like opening a ridiculously tight jar of pickles that you’ve been struggling with, or trying to find the end of the tape for you cuz you swear you can’t feel the damn thing, or bending down to pick up something you’ve dropped, or taking over the dicing of onions cuz you’re starting to tear-up, or reaching over to pass you the remote control when it’s too far from your grasp, or fluffing up the throw blanket over you just at the sight of the slightest tremor, or shaking your wet umbrella for you while you dig through your pockets for the keys.

like, they’re things that you can do. things that he knows you can do, but he just– he loves taking care of you.

and it’s not like he’s even doing this consciously. it was something like second nature to him – taking over when things have become even the slightest of inconvenience for you.

hell, you didn’t even know it was a thing until your friend pointed it out—

the words were not made with ill intent nor were they judgy, and were rather just honest with open curiosity like it was unexpected; like this familiarity of john taking over and you folding yourself into him was…

unusual.

Also I hope I haven't offended anyone in anyway, what I mean here's is that he's AFAB, and he looked at the two of them and went "mmh... I mean, they look AMAB but I could be wrong so-" since technically he's biologically a mix of the two. So his question was more of a "why did Nuwa made me AFAB if this is the case." If there's a better way to write the dialouge lemme know.

this house makes me insane. before you meet lusamine, before you find out about the aether family, before you realize the themes of abuse present in the game, you come across a house. an abusive father and a runaway child. you continue across the game and probably don't give it a second thought. but should you remember this house and return to it after beating the game, you discover that the runaway boy is actually guzma, and suddenly everything about him gets recontextualized. guzma is the first victim of abuse we see in this game. he built up his "never been afraid of nothing or no one" persona as a defense mechanism. he beats other people down because it offers him the power he never had as a child. he hates himself because he always internalized he wasn't good enough. he gets suckered into following another abusive parent because, in his eyes, she's the first person to actually respect him as an equal. god it's so good.
