Okay, so, the ask about yandere platonic dick cheating and how the reader would react has me wondering; what would happen if the reader somehow found out that Dick didn't actually change and decided to go no contact, because they couldn't trust him or maybe because they just don't want to be around someone like that? Would that cause Dick to spiral more? What exactly would be the consequences of going no contact? (Like a complete cut off, although it'd be a bit hard to do that since they live in the same house)

(I was a bit disappointed to read that he probably wouldn't change, but it seemed realistic to me because habits are hard to break and everyone in the batfam is messed up. OK. yapping time. lets start with cami!!

the biggest change is obviously the hair. i interpret her hair in canon to be a way for her to hide, both her evilll intentions and her true self as a way not to get hurt, it also adds to her being mysterious. i apply this not only to the bangs hiding her eyes (the windows to the soul...) but also her whole hair, that's why in the canon design i exaggerated its length and made it kind of.. curl inwards like wrapping her. its hiding her, it's protecting her, it's suffocating her, it's making her mysterious. yes i'm obsessed with her hair. the blunt cunt can also be a sort of sign of her being polished, you gotta maintan those perfect ends so it doesn't look bad.

so. in her post-canon design the hair gets CUT into a bob. that symbolizes cami being open and honest, no more hiding! no more mystery! also, she's letting people see her, she's willing to make connections, meet people, love and be loved. but it also makes her more vulnerable, she can be judged more easily, hurt again more easily, but she accepts that possibility because know she knows how to navigate life and her own emotions with the help of her friends yippieeee

also, she still has the blunt cut because at the end of the day she's still the same person, and is in fact very polished and quite serious, but the braid can get quite messy, and that shows that she's more willing to accept her own imperfections

i took the braid from the hairstyle she has in her song bc its specific to her!! no more copying joy!! but still, its similar bc joy does also wear a braid, but cami puts her own spin to it. like, instead of trying to copy and be joy, she can just take inspiration from her and admire her while keeping her own style. on the topic of personal style, i added a black petticoat under her skirt to further personalize her uniform (also it made me think of witches hehe, yes shes not gonna do evil magic anymore but that´s still one of her interests and something she has done which she has to own up to and account for) and made her ribbon curl to allude to a chameleon's tail.

decided to go for a ribbon instead of a tie to follow with the gnc look + because ties are considered very formal, and formal clothes are exactly what he was forced to wear, so no more! now he gets to wear normal clothes for normal situations.

im thinking abt the remnants of despair. cause i hate how it just seemed to be like, "theyre suddenly brainwashed and then they turn evilll and they kill because they dont feel anything" like, i hate that. it feels so underdeveloped. it cant just be despair, it has to be deeper than that, i think it'd take personal angles and link with a lot of their own trauma, leaving them really vulnerable and deranged. so heres my own interpretation and headcanons for some of them

contains mikan, nagito, fuyuhiko, peko, akane, kazuichi, and brief analysis of the rest. keep in mind i havent seen the animes yet lol so this is a basic layer of it, but i just rly wanted to let this out cus i dont see it talked about. storing my brainrot here for later moments.

first of all i feel like the brainwashing would be a very slow process bc junko would definitely just manipulate everyone in her way to get what she wants. and by the time the world was plagued basically, all the remnants clearly had really unhealthy feelings related to junko specifically. they all love her, hate her, or praise her, but its all in very different ways that would be bc of their own personal backstories

we all know how mikan and nagito feel. mikan was constantly hurt by other people before junko herself, itd make sense for her to develop a very unhealthy attachment to her. mikan was extremely vulnerable and controllable, she would do anything for anyone and especially junko, just so no one is mad at her, hence why it got so twisted to the point where she wanted to keep a part of her inside forever. she wanted to be loved so badly, she would take whatever form of it she could. thats why it was so easy for junko to get her under her boot. now nagito has an odd love-hate relationship with junko imo (his mind is so messed up man) even if he praises hope in such a grossly obsessed way, the mf still TOOK her arm. i know he did it because he hated her so much and i guess to take power back, but i feel like because nagito had never really been loved, he wanted to try and feel what it could've been like out of some kind of confused desperation and fondness for her in a way, because his mind has no idea what those feelings truly are or what they mean, as hatred and love often get mixed up in his head and form this horrible amalgamation with whoever he meets, which is clear towards the survivors in the nwp anyway

fuyuhiko put junko's own eye into his own socket, and i feel like his relationship with her while in despair would be familial and extremely unhealthy. he is definitely one of the most fucked up to me. id say by my own headcanons though its heavily implied in his fte dialogues, is his parents are very ab/usive right from the start. fuyuhiko is messed up to all hell, he was constantly struck and under pressure but he had to be strong and perfect because he was the head of his clan, hence like his insane tolerance for pain. he had to make his clan, or more importantly his parents proud, or else he was a failure forever. so he clung onto that and did his best trying to be good enough for basically anyone. and even before despair he was in a really bad stubborn, mean, depressive state, leaving him far more vulnerable and more open to violent, impulsive actions as long as junko was smart enough to get him under her finger. fuyuhiko never knew what true love felt like (platonic or not), and when junko took advantage of all of that and he slowly fell into despair, shit hit the fan. he lost morality and he had come so attached to her to the point where junko was like a mother figure to him. he wanted her to notice him and be proud basically, it was moreso the idea of someone-- anyone-- being proud of him, but junko was his main focus of that by now, given his state. to him she was like the mother he never had, who seemed to be on the same terms with everything he had believed, someone who approved of him, so he wanted to make her proud, even if it was hurting him. fuyuhiko would keep digging himself a hole of desperation and self destruction, seeking more and more pain to test his endurance because it's what she wanted, and that became what he wanted, too, because pain is all he's used to. and because of that, makotos guess was right; he wanted to see her despair. it'd make sense he'd want to take a part of her, to see horrors she had witnessed so he could understand it, so she could be proud of him and part of him forever. he felt like if he did that, he would finally succeed, he'd achieve perfection, and he did. he'd done everything junko wanted him to do, while quenching his own thirst for violence itself, all via his own delusions. that was love to him and it felt real

as for peko she was definitely also treated the same in the kuzuryu family but more dehumanized obviously, so i think she'd feel a similar way; always needing to be good enough, but more specifically protecting the ones she cares about at all costs even if it results in bloodshed. i think she'd be a lot colder, forcing to suppress her feelings since she just has to follow fuyuhiko wherever he goes, and she was pretty much as insane as him as well so anything slid. i know peko doesnt want to be a tool, but she'd definitely succumb to the fact that she has to be one when they're under despair at the same time, and if she was going to be his tool, she has to be like a robot and just do what follows, because she didn't see herself as a person, her chance of being her own human was ripped away

as for akane, she grew up very poor, and didn't live a good life at all either (w/ definitely bad parents) but she always tried her very best taking care of her siblings in the past, despite everything. i think there was a lot of twisted familial love with junko whom she started to see as a sister despite being unrelated, just because of being a caretaker all her life, its just kind of instinct to protect anyone, but that just got mixed up as she fell into despair, and she would only protect junko, while chaotically killing anyone else in her way. she'd fight for her endlessly, she was one of the strongest, at least for a while, im thinkin she found her body and wanted to preserve it as much as possible by the end of everything, she still wanted to take care of her and do everything for her even if she had been too late. and with that, and barely any food in an apocalyptic world, the inevitable happens. akane would fall into a very hurtful spiral of self hate, that her starving was a sacrifice to junko so she could prioritize her first instead of herself, while also it being like a punishment to herself for her own failures and how she was failing to preserve junko

kazuichi always hated himself. he was bullied often, didn’t have a lot of friends going into high school, and he was very desperate for attention, especially from women. he’d be very notably attached to junko which would eventually evolve into romantic feelings, similar to mikan. he craved attention and validation so much, it left him very vulnerable, and kazuichi often grows attached to people who show him a sliver of kindness anyway, so junko would likely personally manipulate him and praise him, and they’d grow close, and he’d develop a very strong attachment towards her that derails into love and lust. and once he was influenced by her under despair, he would do anything for her. so, he’d get his hands on a lot of weapons, and go on mindless killing sprees, causing havoc 24/7 just to please her and keep her memory alive through despair. and deep in his mind, he probably truly thought that junko was his soulmate, that they were destined to be together, and he was fulfilling missions just for her, and in the end, they could be together

extra stuff i guess? as anyone would expect, sonia just became a corrupted leader and took advantage of her power under despair. her kingdom would try to keep her above it, but she’d fall into it somehow anyway, and probably had already been plagued by corrupt/unjust views by junko before, so she’d lead her people to worship junko the same way she does, and anyone who stood against it would be punished severely. mahiru falls into morbid curiosity because of junko and gets worse, given what she does with her camera, also both mikan and gundham would try to stitch junko up a little, and try to keep her from falling apart as long as possible. mikan is more likely to do that for her own twisted romantic purposes, but if gundham gets a hold of her before or after mikan, he would take her blood for himself, and most likely start a cult to worship her, all for like weird satanic purposes involving rituals and stuff. he’d also encourage his members or the other remnants to indulge in certain activities for the sake of praising her. gundham would probably even believe she was some demon from the underworld who granted him powers and chose him to carry on her legacy

For which polity did the Targaryens colonize Westeros to usurp and exploit its natural resources and raw materials to send back to/finance the main hub of the empire ? Valyria is dead and gone by the time Aegon and his sisters conquers Westeros. A lot of people forget that colonialism is at the end of the day an economic infrastructure for the imperial polity to extract labor or resources to accumulate wealth.

Pre-colonial empires include the Aztecs, Incas, Mughals, Mongols, etc. We don’t conceive of them as colonizers in the way we conceive of Western Europeans as colonizers and there’s a reason for that. Colonialism has a very specific class character. Colonialism is a system which actively denied democracy and freedom to entire races and regions.

If the Targaryens were colonizers then they wouldn’t stay and intermarry with the people or retain the practices or integrate with the cultures of Westeros. They’d use either indirect or direct colonial rule. If direct there would be Valyrian settlers in Westeros.

Aegon literally never imposed the Valyrian costumes to Westeros, he didn't enslaved anyone, didn't forced them to give up their faith, culture and language because it's barbaric.

To be fair I understand people are sensitive to certain things concerning politics. First example is me. warning - this is a little bit messy post. I have a hard time to focus about one topic. i just want to talking for a little bit there before next episode.

You know what? I kinda still on board about “episode 8 was about “jumping the shark” in term of torture that was going on in the episode and what topics and HOW they analyse those topics. And after some time after the last episode i thing that we in another land of “dark and pretty mature topics, that we start in the series, but never go further in this topic” or “we skip the progress because we dont have enough time in this season for this topic” or EVEN WORST IMHO,“we start this topic but after we start it we was thinking that this topic was not…that interesting”.

Yeah this thing was always there with not only some serious subjects, but just in general plot points. I know, but i was thinking more specifically about heavy subjects in the plot or in the character progression.We never analyze fully Yang losing her arm, prosthetic and the fact that Blake ran away right after she saved her because we want to show RNJR traveling more. Those nice moments from the start of the volume 4? Oh Yang just wear her prosthetic in the next episode in which she appears! Weiss and Yang have a talk in volume 5? Its will be about Weiss family and most of information, that we already knew! This scene from volume 6 in episode 5 with Blake “i will protect you” that you really like and want to see more stuff like this? Naaaa, we will not progress this and just skip into flirting and fighting with ex! You can maybe have Jaune having a problems after Pyrrha pass away and him “helping” Penny, but you cant have the same with the main characters or even if they can have something like this - this is never go into to deep or dont go for to long.

Also about Rudy and her finally getting progress in her emotion state - yeah you also cant have this. You cant have Rudy analyse by herself what she done and try to work with those mistakes - you HAVE to have Neo talking via people, who Rudy knew or hurt one way and another, even if half of the people Neo probably dont know. You cant make her “fall” without having a metaphoricaly make Rudy kh. No matter what “drinking tea” will evolved into (new Rudy, Evil Rudy, just her teleport back into Remnant, meet a Summer who will motivate her to be a huntresses again, transform into Summer and other theories that i can’t guess or don’t remember right now) - they decide that the best way to make Rudy go through depression, anger, guilt is make her extremely suicidal and drink some tea. Also her weapon, that she was scared to even hold in episode 7? Yeah she can how shot and not even flinch.All those interestings, but pretty heavy topics is there, but also…not there.

There is…so many interesting stuff in this show, so many interesting details that you can analyse and topics, that you can progress EVEN when the main plot is still there about “fight with a big bad evil guy”. Even with all issues i have with this show (or with company, but this post is not about this), i cant stop be amaze how there is enough potential and things that can inspire you to do something, no matter if its “””just””” fanfic about some of your favorit ship or something that help you to find out what you want to see in your project. This show is absolutely a big mess sometime, its getting better in one part but then fall apart in other part but because those good part and potentials is there you cant just stop watching. I’ve been with this fandom since the red trailer and everytime this show is amaze me how mess is sometime can be and how it can just…drop something extremely interesting or even personal favorite stuff. april’s role is EXTREMELY different from normal. i stole the awsom idea 2012 had with april being half kraang and it spiraled from there .. april’s been living with the kraang its entire life. i havent decided on if the turtles meet april in the obligatory space arc OR right after the kraang show up on earth , but either way they talk sum sense into it , leading 2 april abandoning the kraang n living with the turtles

For Bad: Is there anyone who had an undeniable negative impact on your OC’s life? How did your OC deal with that change? Have they been able to move on?

I've been adamant about not giving dex a classic ~tragic backstory~ because i think its cheap and also its way funnier if he DOESN'T have one but still Acts Like That. but that being said he still didn't have a very good relationship with his family or really anyone else from his settlement. after settling in their new interdimensional colony the lombaxes were (understandably) terrified of outsiders so they decided nobody goes in or out. the intention was to keep everyone safe but it led to dex growing up in more or less a paranoid surveillance state. all the authority figures in his life, including his parents, teachers, the council, and the praetorian guard, were all controlling of his movements and shut down any curiosity he had of the outside, which only made him resent them and want to escape even more. and because of that he's averse to any sense of community. no he has not moved on. ok maybe that is a tragic backstory after all but not in the same way as like. BECAUSE SINGING KILLED MY GRANDMA OKAY?

well definitely the way she met julius. she found a ritual in one of her spellbooks that she THOUGHT was gonna summon the apocalypse or the antichrist or whatever (was it mislabeled? did she just misread it? who knows?), so imagine her surprise when her room is filled with the blinding divine light of heaven and there's an angel there to greet her. for prudence it was a bad experience cause like ARRRRRGH GET AWAY FROM ME BEGONE IM EVILLL IM INSANE ASYLUMMMM but julius was mostly just confused why they had been summoned. for sure Just Plain Weird. and now..... well its a bit complicated. but theyre kind of yuri

i tell myself im not a hardcore atla fan but i think that just means I'm not heavily invested in proving zutara or kataang is better than one another in such a way as to make zuko/aang look like shitty people. but more in i enjoy kataang cause its cute and zutara for nostalgia reasons/i just like the relationship.. i dont want to put down either to be the ultimate EVILLL.

What I meant is, headcanons generally suck. But it's especially bad with Jason, and yes, a lot of it's batcest shippers, but in general people don't understand anything about Jason. (Jim Starlin didn't like writing kids fighting, for starters.)

Like how a lot of headcanons are pretty much just to soften Jason up cause they liked the retconned filled Rebirth Jason (Rebirth started really good, but then they started just blatantly doing inaccurate stuff with Jason and it lost all points with me), or because they feel weird about having their favorite be a leather clad anti-hero that murders people.

Cause fandom made their own mentality that their favorite character shouldn't be not mostly morally correct in their actions, cause somehow that's an issue, or they fear people will think lesser than that, and some will cause they're stupid.

And ya know, they want a more dateable Jason I guess idk.

Some wanna really make him like a real softie, some cause they think he was only a good student, that loved education--and not a nuanced character that was actually effected by being on the streets while not being a one-note annoyance like how some act.

I don't feel comfortable defending Jim Starlings choice to purposely depict a child's death in the most shocking way possible. But I will defend that, despite popular assumption, and his own dislike of child crime-fighters, he did write a very interesting Jason that actually continued what was shown by who wrote his origin.

(For the record, as far as my memory goes, that wasn't a soft protect me. I'm saying that cause I know someone will read it that way.)

Like he portrayed Bruce as understanding, and gave Jason a reason to act out. And even after that moment he's still shown as being a pretty bright kid. They didn't just go "AH HE'S EVILLL".

Jason has so many misconceptions about them, and it's not helped by nearly all of his writers not giving a dang.

Like some will go 'Well, towards the end he's shown as just a nuisance." and maybe in Death in the Family, but not in-general.

They show him working out, developing himself further, they were giving him a more distinct look so he wasn't literally just golden age Dick Grayson, he showed weakness and insecurity.

I weirdly liked Jason more after reading his Robin run, and I already liked him, but he was portrayed as a complicated character that I could see having very interesting stories.

But generally speaking, fandoms aren't good at nuance. So they just flatten stuff and confuse everyone new trying to get into it--which stinks. And comics also suck when the proper attention and care isn't put in.
