Earlier this morning, the earth's northern pole reached its maximum tilt from the sun, marking the winter solstice. For those of us living in the northern hemisphere, today is the shortest day of the year. The sun is also at its lowest elevation of the year. If you happen to suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), as I do, the sole bright side of the winter solstice is that each day after it will be progressively longer until the summer solstice is reached in June.

In the meantime, there's no better medication for the seasonal blues than a brisk winter hike.

Cooper Barnes tells the kids that they gave up their childhood for the show and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Nickelodeon adult ever admit something like that. The whole video was so sweet it made me want to cry It really does seem like he cares about them. He was even there to represent Jace’s dad when his family didn’t come.
