I absolutely loved drawing this up, I had such a clear cut vision for it!

Thinking about what happened off screen between Janus and Logan makes me so damn happy. I want Logan to be comforted by Janus, I want Janus to step up and impersonate Logan consensually! I want there to be an understanding between them, a shared frustration that they're never listened to the way they want to be! Shrugged off and insulted time and time again.

And to be honest, I kind of want Virgil to HATE what these two have. I want Virgil to be upset that Logan is finding solace in someone he hates, a dark side he thought he could leave behind. Virgil relates to them because he felt what they're feeling in the past, but it can't compare because they're feeling what they're feeling Now. Logan and Virgil may be on good terms, but Virgil and Janus are Not.

It's the best love V ever. /j

IT WAS SIMPLY A MEAL BEING SHARED between two friends, right? So why did Dorothy go through six outfits before finding one she felt was acceptable for the event? Why did she wipe off her eyeshadow twice because it wasn't meeting her expectations? It was just an afternoon meal, and yet, the clutch in her chest that wouldn't accept anything her perfection argued otherwise. When her appearance was finally acceptable enough, she made her way to the diner, smoothing over the bottom of her dress before walking in the door.

However, the anxiety seemed to increase when she walked in, and the amount of people overwhelmed her, unable to find Pesor themself. Did she look stupid? Blindly looking around, relief rushed her when she saw them waving in her direction, solace from the idea that she was looking like a total idiot. A large smile bloomed on her face as soon as Pesor came into view, and somehow grew even more as she slid into the booth across from them. "Hi." Did she sound embarrassingly breathless? "The fact that it's busy just means it's a good place, right?" She hoped they weren't already regretting meeting her there. Every aspect over being criticized in her head, and she was trying to deny the reason why, the thought she was trying to deny. She liked Pesor. She liked them then and those feelings didn't fade, they simply went into hiding, waiting to once more come out given the opportunity. Tucking a piece of hair behind her ear, she leaned in just an inch, as if sharing a secret, to say, "You know, I kind of like when places are busy. It gives a chance to people watch. I love watching people and just imaging what their lives are like. I've always done it when behind stage at the circus." Was the weird to share?

Or at least they'd both sort of decided that it wasn't a date. Yet, Pesor's stomach was turning at the idea of meeting Dorothy there, at a place that felt like a hurricane collected into a glass bottle. But they'd secured a table and a menu and had even already ordered some coffee. And now they were feeling more self-conscious with the second. What if Dorothy did want this to be a date? What if they wanted this to be a date? They took a deep breath, unable to fight their giddiness. They were already thing about all the things they could talk about with Dorothy, all the things they wanted to know, and everything they wanted to tell her.

When she appeared in the door way - because of course Pesor had managed to secure a seat from where he could see her come in. They jumped up, throwing a hand up to wave her over, a broad smile on his face. When she'd made her way through the many patrons, they sat back down. "Hi, sorry, I didn't know this place was so... busy at this time."
