Hi! This is kind of my first time requesting, I already red the rules so um can I request headcanons of SWK, Macaque and MK with the reader who is part of the East Sea's Dragon Clan? Or you could say the reader is somewhat Ao Guang's daughter? Would their father's reaction be on them dating? Would he aprrove?

I hope this isn't too much! ^.^

Aw its never too much dear nonnie! I used the first option since I dont have that good of a grasp on Au Guang lol. Apologies if its short this was pretty on the nose!

Macaque, MK and SWK with a s/o who’s part of the east sea dragon clan

MK

When you came to visit Mei on orders of Au Guang, to make sure that his greatx1M niece is doing alright after dealing with the samedi fire.

You were around her age and shared interests (swordplay) so he figured you’d be nice to each other.

What he didn’t know was that you also got particular close to a certain Monkie Kid.

Once MK first met you, he already though you were really cool!

Since you lived in the east sea clan most your life he and Mei loved showing you around.

It took a while for him to fall but once he did he fell HARD.

MK is a naturally affectionate person but once he realises he’s absolutely smitten with you he becomes much more touchy, not in a bad way though!

After a couple nudges from Tang and Mei you two started dating!

He loves your scales! Will kiss your cheeks to feel the scales!

My dude will be drawing you allllll the time, especially pre-dating, thats just how he pines.

You two train together! Who doesn’t love fight-flirting.

He also helped you pick a new wardrobe as your current clothes just didn’t make the cut.

Use your dragon powers during a fight or just for fun, MK will freeze bcs u look so cool.

Sun Wukong

You had met Wukong and the others while they were in jail, well met is a strong word, more like walked past them and gave them a weird look.

After the battle with the lady bone demon you went to see Mei, on orders of Au Guang to make sure she was alright.

Thats how you met Wukong again.

At first you two didn’t like each other much. Wukong was a bit salty because of the look you gave him in the hail cell. You thought he was a big trouble maker.

Only when you saw him interact with Mei did you see that, hey maybe he isn’t so bad at all.

For him it was the same but with MK, as long as you and the kiddies got along you were alright in his book.

Fast forward to when you two got together, Wukong made sure it was a spectacle, he is the Monkey King after all.

Expect him to be clingy af, you CANNOT tell me he isn’t touch starved even just a teeny bit.

He’ll always be grabbing your hand or something, maybe putting his head on your shoulder.

Love LOVES the way your scales feel against his fur, especially during summers and hot days.

Tries to use ‘scaly peaches’ as your nick name. Yeah he’ll just stick to peaches.

Likes watching you help MK train, is practically drooling over you.

Cheers you on during actual fights.

Six-eared Macaque

You and Mei had become fast friends in the east sea palace, she gad even invited you to come help them in defeating lbd.

You of course accepted. After all was said and done you decided to stay with Mei for awhile, get to know the surface world.

What you didn’t expect was that you would fall for a certain shadow.

Macaque had begun by admiring you from afar, watching you through shadow portals.

You could sense that someone was watching you, so you obviously tried to attack him.

You know those slo-mo, love at first fight things, yeah thats what happened between you two.

After Mei explained their truce with Macaque, you still didn’t trust him but went along with it as Mei seemed genuine.

In no time at all you both realised you have burning crushes on eachother.

You confessed first, one day showing up at his house and saying you liked him a lot.

Thats how you two started dating.

Macaque once licked your scales after you started dating to tease you.

You got him back by grabbing his tail and twirling it around you hand.

No, you two are a POWER COUPLE. Seriously imagine a GIANT SHADOW MOKEY KAIJU and a DRAGON charging towards you.

I’d surrender by then.

He likes how well you get along with lbd’s host (she was adopted by everyone I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL-)

Less touchy then Wukong and MK, prefers quality time with you rather than physical touch.

He’ll totally add a dragon character to his shadow plays for you.

I was the introverted one during school, I barely talked to my classmates, and I struggled making new friends. Most of all, I had ideas I thought were good but didn't express them out of fear. Then, if someone had the same idea, I felt regret

-Mipha is the beloved princess of the Zora, the future Queen of her people, and Sidon's older sister. Mipha is actually a bit shorter than the average Zora, but what she lacks in size she more than makes up for in her strength, bravery, and compassion. Despite her prowess in combat Mipha is a healer to her core and loathes to engage in combat, even when it's necessary; she doesn't relish the idea of hurting anything even her enemies.

Mipha is by far the best magic user the Zora have to offer, her ability exceeding the typical Zora and almost matching that of a Hylian Mage. Her specialty is healing, "Mipha's Touch", though she also has great control over the waters, able to create whirlpools and miniature hurricanes at will. Currently, her father has been giving her more and more of his responsibilities as monarch, his way of easing her into the position and making the transition of power between the two go smoothly when it's time for him to step down. As a princess and future queen, Mipha has attended many important meetings with the neighboring governments and leaders, which in turn has allowed her to meet Zelda; the two of them are good friends.

-Sidon is the crown prince of the Zora, second in line for the throne, and Mipha's younger brother. He's known as a bit of a heartthrob in the kingdom due to his good looks and personality; he's charismatic, enthusiastic, and polite to a fault, and likes to use his own self confidence to lift others instead of being boisterous. He's turned down many an attempt at courtship graciously, which has done nothing to lessen the hearteyes thrown his way.

Sidon and Mipha are both well known across all of Hyrule not because of their royal status, but due to a feat they managed years back where they both rescued the crew and passengers of a sinking vessel ship from drowning during hurricane, having fought against harsh waves and blistering winds to succeed; they didn't lose a single person. It's in part of this and his capacity to be a good leader that lead the Zora Domain to choose him for the role of Champion; the king allowed it to be to a vote among his people instead of him choosing, and Mipha endorsed the idea that Sidon would be a great fit.

-Ruto is the mortal form of the Zora's Patron Deity, and like many of her fellow deities her true identity is unknown by her people. Her unique appearance is due to a rare birth condition that Zora could get, where their headtails are short or non-existent and instead they grow a traditional tail. This birth defect could be harmful to the Zora's swimming capabilities depending on how strong the tail is and how long the head-tail turns out, but in Ruto's case, she has no worries about it. Partly because, had she actually been affected she'd be perfectly fine to swim since she was "balanced" as a healer would said, but mostly because she is divine, and the mortal form is merely a disguise of sorts, therefore she isn't actually afflicted by the condition.

Ruto works, ironically, as the high priestess of the temple of the gods in the Zora Domain, one temple dedicated to her specifically. As a religious figure, she serves the additional role as pseudo advisor to the crown, where her word holds quite a bit of weight due to how spiritual the Zora typically are.

-The Zora Domain is located in the Faron River, which is the largest river in Hyrule, a river that connects to almost every lake in the kingdom before it eventually leads out into the ocean. The domain sits dead center of the huge river, which is surrounded by tall tree-covered cliff faces with running waterfalls cascading down into the water, a natural protective barrier. To reach it, visitors must either by air or by foot, and if foot they must traverse a long bridge that leads to the domain. The Zora Domain is a largely popular location to all of Hyrule, hailed as one of the most beautiful locations in the kingdom, something the Zora take great pride in.

-The Zora are one of the larger races of Hyrule, clocking in on average of about 8ft tall, but it's common for them to grow much larger depending on their ancestry; King Dorephan is one of the largest Zora to live

-The Zora hold moderate capability over magic, especially hydro-based magic, though their magical skill typically don't reach heights seen in Hylians or Gerudo. That said, they take a page from the Gerudo's books in that they combine their magic with their physical combat (unlike Hylians, who typically master either magic combat or physical combat), making them extremely diverse warriors. Their weapons typically lean to tridents, spears, and scythes.

-The Zora are not mammalian, and do in fact have ancestry in ancient fish. Despite it, they do give live birth instead of laying eggs, though mothers are unable to produce milk and so baby Zora will usually be fed blended and soft foods before they're able to eat solids. Typical baby formula for baby Zora involve fish, veggies, and some fruits blended together. The kids love the stuff.

I might do some super rough concept work for the locations and such but outside of that, keep your eyes open for the next bit of content! Caroline Elizabeth Forbes was born into a picture perfect family life. Her family was whole and in love. She believed in the rainbows and that love would never die. Cheerleading, spelling bees, ballet classes, and more were all done from the moment that she could walk and talk. Bill was the cheerdad and Liz was the police officer working her way up to Sheriff in town eventually. A bright adult that turned into a very stressed out teenager. Her father, the one that she was close to came out as gay and while Caroline was happy to have more family it felt like a loss when she barely got a phone call from him and the only times she saw him was holidays. Caroline still sent him letter monthly and the two of them would talk through the mail but it was not the same. Her father lived out of town and going out there was hard until she got her own car. Caroline spent her summers with her father and his husband, Steven along with Steven’s younger daughter Mary-Ann.

At the age of 18, Caroline’s life changes oddly for the better with a smothering act from Katherine Pierce. She dies and turns into a supernatural that she had only thought was in twilight books. Life as a vampire is hard to adjust to but she manages and with it grows a sense of confidence and self that didn’t rely on being the perfect daughter.

Sometime in college, she becomes magically pregnant with her professor’s babies and things change once more. She attempts to make a real family while the man she loves is running for his life. The girls grow older and Caroline throws herself into being the best mother that she can. Three perfect years, one engagement fallen through and then a marriage to a man that dies on her wedding day.

jack has crazy physical fortitude & an exceptionally high pain tolerance. not only when it comes to taking hits, which he can sure take heaps of and then some, but also when it comes to his wild substance abuse. it takes A LOT to get him properly buzzed, which is why he’s always trying all kinds of dangerous combinations to try and give him the full punch he’s looking for. he also rarely ever has hangovers. only gets them when he drinks himself to his actual limit and that doesn’t actually happen very often unless in a destructive response to something. he’s just an all-around toughie who literally doesn’t know when to quit tbh. and it doesn’t help that he can go 0 to feral in .2 seconds flat.

My Madagascar “Timeline”

Until “Madagascar 4″ and “Madagascar: A Little Wild” comes out, this is my take on the events that take place. I included every Madagascar movie, the holiday shorts, All Hail King Julien, TPOM Movie and TPOM series.

I tried my best to keep it as canon as possible, but tbh there’s no way to do that when there are so many time skips in the movies where the characters grew up. 

This is a VERY long post btw

Baby Penguins save Private and are on the iceberg, ready to take on the world. On their way, they get captured and taken to Central Park Zoo, unintentionally sending Dave on his way to becoming a villain.

Baby Alex gets captured by poachers from Africa, but his crate falls off the truck and into the ocean. He eventually gets rescued and taken to the zoo.

Everyone grows up. Everything that happens during this time frame is pure speculation and headcanons/theories. Manfredi and Johnson are transferred to the Penguins' habitat. They quickly become friends with the Penguins. Manfredi and Johnson are older than them, but by just a few years.

Manfredi and Johnson heavily influence the younger Penguins' by supporting their "commando" ways and introducing the famous Buck Rotgut (who trained them). Skipper INSISTS on being the leader until Johnson finally convinces him that since they (M&J) were the ones who knew more about it, they should be in charge. But just until Skipper learns everything from them, because after all, he doesn't want to make a mistake and accidentally cause harm to his brothers, right?

During their training, Manfredi and Johnson tell the boys tales of their past adventures. Most of these are exaggerated to make them seem cool and to entertain the young boys. Some aren't even real events, just told as a bedtime story or as a warning. (These stories are mostly where Skipper gets his paranoia from. See the explanations below) Also during this time, they have some of their own adventures together.

At some point, when they're all slightly older (perhaps in their "teens"?), Private gets separated from the rest. I'm presuming that he gets transferred to Texas (or somewhere in the South) where he learns he's amazing at minigolf and takes on the persona as "Mr. Tux." However, after the ice cream incident, Private hangs up his putter. How he gets back to NYC, he could have been transferred back (either by his doing or the humans' doing), he could have ran away and back to NYC, or his brothers finally rescued him.

---"AHKJ" events begin to happen around here and continue until the movie "Madagascar" is mentioned----

Eventually, after much begging and not so subtle hinting from Skipper, Manfredi and Johnson allow him to go on a mission by himself. (When Manfredi expresses concern, Skipper says, "Trust me, Manfredi, what could go wrong?" a line Skipper said in "The Return Of The Revenge of Dr, Blowhole) They send him to Denmark where he is to partner up with Hans the puffin to conduct some research on the Danes. They thought having a partner would be safer for Skipper, but Hans turned on him and made him Denmark's public enemy #1.

Now banned from Denmark, Skipper comes back to discover that Rico has gone crazy without him. (so crazy that Rico even bit and ate a chunk of Manfredi's leg) Manfredi and Johnson, afraid that Rico will act like that again, decide to limit Skipper's solo missions. (This is something Skipper continues to keep doing, even after being named the leader.)

After having to endure Rico's insane rampage, Manfredi and Johnson decide to have a vacation. They leave Skipper in charge and head off to a spa. Once their vacation time was up, they didn't want to go back yet, so they decided to say they were dead. They sent word to the Penguins, informing them of their "death", but Johnson made sure to add that their demise was not terrible and in fact very relaxing so the Penguins wouldn't be so upset. (Which somehow worked, because the Penguins don't seem to get too sad when talking about them)

Without Manfredi and Johnson, Skipper became the new leader. He made Kowalski his second in command, and Rico the demolitions expert. Private was still training since he had missed so much during his "Mr. Tux" time, and as such not given a role. They begin to plan their escape to Antarctica.

Around here is when "The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper" takes place.

It's in November when Alex, Gloria, Marty, and Melman (who will be referred to as the "Hippies" from now on) are shipped out and thanks to the Penguins, wind up on Madagascar.

At the end of "AHKH", the final episode has the lemurs are celebrating Cover and Sage's wedding, Alex washes up on shore. This is where "Madagascar" events start.

Meanwhile, back in NYC. Manfredi and Johnson hear about the zoo animals escaping and being shipped to Africa, only to have the boat go off radar and unable to be contacted. Manfredi and Johnson assume this was the work of the Penguins and decide to investigate. They discover the Penguins' plans to dig to Antarctica and head there. Of course, they don't find them and wind up being captured and sent BACK to NYC, but this time, they're sent to Seaville instead of the zoo.

Now stuck on Madagascar, the Penguins try to rebuild the plane (with Timo's help), Kowalski meets Doris the dolphin. He falls in love with her and confesses, but she's not interested. Eventually, his constant confessions of love and numerous gifts begin to annoy her and she decides to leave. A depressed and distraught Kowalski gets a tattoo of her from Pancho.

Not long after that, "Merry Madagascar" takes place.

Not sure how long it took, but the plane is finally fixed (sort of) and "Madagascar 2" happens. BUT at some point before Skipper and Lola's wedding, (which means BEFORE the ending of "Madagascar 2), "Madly Madagascar" happens.

After Skipper's wedding, "Madagascar 3" happens.  

Sometime after "Madagascar 3", the circus stops in Guatemala where Rico meets a girl. He falls head over heels for her, and tries to show her how much he likes her. But she doesn't understand his gibberish and is freaked out by him.

And after "Madagascar 3" is "The Penguins of Madagascar Movie".

After TPOM Movie, everything seems fine. That is, until Dr. Blowhole shows up. The Penguins once again leave the circus and defeat Blowhole. Realizing that the dolphin is never going to give up trying to defeat the Penguins and make the human race suffer, Skipper and his team decide to stay at the zoo to keep an eye on things. Julien decides to stay as well, because he and Sonya broke up and things between them did not end well. Maurice and Mort go with him.

The PoM series is last. The Hippies are still doing their circus acts, just without the Penguins and lemurs. The Penguins are keeping Central Park Zoo safe and getting annoyed by Julien sometimes.

I stared at this message for a good five minutes wondering if this was a joke, honestly, because pal, if it’s not, you must not have been following me for very long! I almost NEVER shut up about my Papyton fics lmao. 

But I really know what you mean. I traverse the Mettaton/Papyrus tag on ao3 every once in a while and it’s always swamped with Sans/Reader. I really only know of and follow fics written by me and my friends.

So here’s what I’ll do. I will fill this post with fic recs for you, starting with my own since I know them best and moving on to my friends’ and any others I’ve had recced to me lately.

Papyton:

- The Walls Around Our Hearts, by me. Yes, I’m starting with this bad boy. Walls is my precious baby, the first Papyton fic I ever started writing and also the longest-going fic I’ve ever written, having first been published in 2017. For me, it’s pretty much everything I’d ever want in a romance fic: slow burn, mutual pining, friends to lovers, those good tropes. Now, I never recommend Walls to anyone without also mentioning the trigger warnings. Because there’s a lot of them. Walls is not only about a romance, but also involves Papyrus and Mettaton going on separate, yet intertwined, personal journeys. On these journeys, they deal with inner and outer demons: secret dark pasts, ableism, transphobia, abuse, mental illness, and more. I’ve tagged the fic with everything necessary, and I never turn away anyone who wants to know more about what I’m planning, because I don’t want anyone to be caught off guard. But yeah. I’ve been told Walls is a great read, so you might still enjoy the ride.

- What Heights of Love, by me. I haven’t gotten very far into it yet because everything gets the backburner compared to Walls. But it’s my fic based on the King Mettaton ending that focuses mainly on Papyton, along with the human back on the surface. However, it is a tragedy fic with a doomed relationship, so it’s not a very happy story. Also, there will be smut later, so it’s not for minors.

- A Heart of Glass, by me. Again, I haven’t gotten very far into the story. It’s generally lighter-toned than the other two stories, though. It’s my Human Fairy Tale AU, based mainly on the tale of Cinderella told by Disney. Papyrus takes the role of Cinderella and Mettaton the Prince. The story focuses on both characters and involves some twists on the original tale.

- My one-shots. I have 23 fluffy, purely Papyton one-shots on my ao3 account, among other things. I also have 3 smut fics, but those are only visible if you are a registered user with ao3.

- The Most Glamorous Puzzle of All, by NoSleepUntilVacation. A collection of 100 fluffy Papyton one-shots, almost finished. All around very cute and by a good friend of mine.

- We’re Allowed to Be Loud and Proud, by NoSleepUntilVacation. Another collection of Papyton one-shots, this time a mix of fluff, smut, and AUs (smut is marked so you can skip it if you want).

- NoSleepUntilVacation’s one-shots. She has 12 purely Papyton short stories on her ao3 account, most if not all of which involve tooth-rotting fluff.

- Diaries of a Killer Robot, by TheUndertaleLesbian. Largely from Mettaton’s POV (at least so far), but Papyton-focused. Mettaton’s dealing with a sore past and a bit of a tough present life, so he’s writing in diaries again to cope.

- TheUndertaleLesbian’s one-shots. She currently has 4 Papyton short stories on her ao3.

- Seasons Change, by rouxlsreversed. A short but sweet (and finished!) multichapter fic about Papyrus and Mettaton’s love throughout the seasons.

- Pillow Talk, by rouxlsreversed. A cute, fluffy one-shot.

Mettaton:

- Birthday Bonding, by me. This is actually focused on Mettaton AND Undyne, and features Papyrus, but I thought you might enjoy it. This fic follows my headcanon that Mettaton, as well as Undyne, sees Asgore as a father figure, and he and Undyne both want to give him the best birthday party... except their ideas are seemingly too conflicting to work.

- As Different as a Moonbeam from Lightning, by me. Again, actually focused on Mettaton and Undyne’s relationship, but mostly from Mettaton’s POV. Mettaton and Undyne make a deal, but Mettaton may have gotten himself in too deep this time.

- Phone Conversations with a Killer Robot, by NoSleepUntilVacation. Basically a fic about what might happen if you could call Mettaton throughout your Underground journey like you can call Papyrus and Undyne.

- Three Little Glambots, by NoSleepUntilVacation. Cute fic about the reader adopting three Mettaton bitties, who look like each of his robot forms.

- where the machines (and our hearts) run in double time, by NoSleepUntilVacation. Another what-if fic about Mettaton accompanying Frisk through the True Lab.

- NoSleepUntilVacation’s Mettaton/Reader fics. I don’t know if you’re looking for anything like that, but I thought I’d mention them in case you’re interested. There’s 12 of them and they’re all pretty sweet.

- Hail to the King, Baby, by Predaking. Another King Mettaton fic, this time focused on Mettaton instead of Papyton. This fic involves undiagnosed mental illness and alcoholism, so keep that in mind before reading.

Papyrus:

- Papyrus vs the Forces of LOVE, by me. My version of Underfell, focusing mostly on Papyrus and the human and a bit of Sans.

- Glasses, by ALittleBirdieToldMeASecret. Papyrus gets a pair of glasses, but they bother Sans for some reason, and the others feel put off as well. Papyrus-focused of course, but Sans plays a big part as well. This one was recced to me by a friend, and I haven’t finished what’s been written so far, but I like it!

- My Big Fat Fish Holiday Party, by 264feet. This one’s focused on Papyrus and Undyne. It’s one of the funniest fucking things I’ve ever read. I’m not even going to put a description of it, except to say that Bill Clinton is involved. Just go read it.

So basically

Maleficent is the spinning wheel and spindle. (Yes, I know that is QUITE the strange thought to start off on)

She also never had any intention of killing Aurora, because a princess has no reason to spin her own thread and therefore touch a spindle on a spinning wheel. What she WOULD have done was embroidery. Maybe even a bit of weaving. The most princesses tended to do with fabrics was making them pretty. That’s not to say that’s all princesses in the 14th century, but a good number of the european ones.

And so I say, Maleficent never cursed Aurora. She would have well-known who was responsible for what in a kingdom.

I say, her gift to the princess, because you’ll notice she never said it was a curse, was a premonition. And do note, a true Fae cannot lie. If someone is born a fae, they cannot lie. (I’ve seen some versions saying that the advantage of a human-turned-fae is that they can lie)

She saw that this child that had been long awaited in the human kingdom she happened to be living beside, would die on her birthday years from now. And she decided to warn her parents and the rest of the kingdom.

Maleficent had been noted to have powers that far outweigh those of the Three Good Fairies (TGF henceforth), but she still wouldn’t be able to simply stop a teenager from doing something they’re told not to do.

Have YOU tried to tell a teen not to do something? They always do it

So rather that try herself to protect this innocent-of-her-parents’-crimes child, and have everyone try to stop her, because she was noted to be on a different side than the the TGF.

Rather than simplye tell the gathered populace of her vision of the future and have them call her a Cassandra [x] and lying, she takes advantage of the fact that everyone sees her a certain way.

Maleficent takes advantage of TGF’s hatred of her.

Of King Stefan’s refusal to invite her to the party of the century.

She plays her part of a gracious yet snubbed faery.

And indirectly claims her vision as one of her own making. Because at least, if she’s claiming to be the one to cause the innocent child to die, then she knows the TGF will do all they can to stand in her way.

Her “curse” takes effect. And her brilliant timing allows for one of the TGF to try and lessen the damage of it. Merryweather’s exact words were that “if through [maleficent’s] trick, a spindle should your finger prick.”

Because of that, as Maleficent looks to the future, to try and prevent this child’s death, she realizes she HAS to try and kill her. Despite how the Fae normally operate with children.

Namely, that they will steal away human children.

A habit that she’ll have to ignore for the sake of the child’s life

So as long as the sun hasn’t set on Aurora’s 16th birthday, Maleficent plays her part as the villain of the story. She instructs her minions to search “for the baby Princess Aurora.”

That’s important.

Because surely even with her long and immortal life, Maleficent would have realized that when humans reach age 16, they aren’t babies anymore. And yet, it took her 16 years to correct the goblins hailing her queen?

But then Diablo finds Aurora and she can no longer play the fool, she must actively try to trick the princess now. She sets a trap for the princess in the cottage, but then she catches a prince.

Then she has another vision, one of Prince Phillip only leaving her dungeon after 100 years, with Aurora fast asleep and cursed. Sometime during the 16 years, she learned of Merryweather’s words that day, and she prepared for it.

She times everything just right.

The sun hasn’t set yet, so she uses some faerie compulsion to have Aurora follow her. The same way people follow wisps in swamps even though they shouldn’t.

She puts on a show, makes her presence known, pulls Aurora away and then shapeshifts herself into a spinning wheel. There was no time to get one when everything’s been done via drop spindles for the past 16 years.

The princess sleeps.

Maleficent’s part is (mostly) done.

For the first time in 16 years she can sleep, knowing everything will turn out fine.

And very well knowing that TGF will come to save Phillip, not that she told her goblins to prepare for his rescue or anything.

And of course, the best part of a convoluted plan like this, is that if you told anyone, you now have a second person that could affect your plans because they happened to, in the moment, make a choice that ruins your plans. So she never told Diablo that way her fine feathered friend would still call the goblins to attention.

She waited in her room for all the noise of Phillip’s escape to die down. Then, suddenly, right after Diablo squawked outside her tower, he went dead silent.

THAT is when we finally see a truly angry Maleficent.

Her companion was turned to stone because she never accounted for just how deep Merryweather’s hatred for her went. Still, she didn’t endanger the innocent child.

She simply fought TGF’s champion until her anger abated enough.

Aurora had been safe from Maleficent for her entire life.

To close this off, I wanna bring up (one of) the (possible) meaning(s) of the Wheel of Fortune in Tarot reading:

UPRIGHT: Good luck, karma, life cycles, destiny, a turning point

REVERSED: Bad luck, resistance to change, breaking cycles

Good luck to some, bad luck to others, Maleficent is the Spinning Wheel.

As for why would she try so hard to prevent this kid’s death? A child like Aurora, long awaited and finally arrived, was normally a gift from magic. From the fae. As such, you don’t thank the fae that gave you such a child. You simply acknowledge the child and promise to do right by them.

Those children are normally called changelings, and are fae by nature, magical. Some fae would have created the baby somehow, and left them in the crib. Possibly taking away whatever sickly human babe might lay there.

Mort Appreciation Post

So since no one is doing this I'm going to write my thoughts of Mort (Madagascar Franchise, but more specifically in "All Hail King Julien") because he is cool.

I will add things when i see the other seasons.

Sorry for my bad english but is not my first language.

Season one

In this first season he doesn't do much but still one of the comic relief, plus in this timeline we understand why Mort love "Da Feeeeet" and its kinda cute (but still creepy) .

We leard that he is somehow very good with art and have some 'personality' issues, but "Smart" Mort is baby and everyone knows.

A funny thing that i love is the fact that was that Hector and Mort were room mates and its implicated that Mort is even older than Hector.

Season two

Ok, here we learn that Mort doesn't only love the Feet, but also love love KJ and it's creepy but funny somehow.

Here, or at least that what i see, it's even implied that he have, or had, a crush on Maurice, so my headcanon that Mort is bi with male preference is getting stronger and maybe is implied, and seem very friendly with the other, unless you hurt KJ and Rob learned in a very painful way.
