HECK I FORGOT TO ANSWER THIS I'M SORRY

I've been trying to think of any I might have, but I can't seem to come up with any or remember them 😔

I guess all my posts I've done about them as kids, like growing up with manfredi and Johnson lol

As for other headcanons, I don't :C at least not at the moment

oh frick it’s been a while

heyooo sorry i disappeared ^^; i got distracted with some things and just...forgot .-.

so uh here’s a doodle i did a while back of the boys as babies sleeping

it’s part of a comic i was/am working on. i say “was” because it’s been a while since i worked on it (which it was also the reason i neglected this blog oof)

and i say “am” because i would really like to finish it!!! the only problem is that idk how to pace the story e_o 

soooo there’s that

so hopefully i can figure out the story soon!!!

oh my gosh my stories are the same way!!! always about the penguins XD 

i think that’s pretty much how i’ll deal with ALW too XD if the penguins aren’t in it, then there probably won’t be any need in adding it to my timeline XD

in the TPOM episode “Field Tripped”, a kid sees the penguin knock out a pretzel vendor. Skipper’s concerned he’s a spy and go to the bench the kid was at after he left

the kid left a museum brochure behind that had a picture of a Madagascar exhibit. 

Skipper says “Junior has intel on Madagascar! How long has he been spying on us?!” 

and in TPOM Christmas special, Santa remembers Julien who says “oh yeah, we go way back” XD

so to me, somehow, all of these movies, shorts, and episodes fit together XD

i’ve only watched like 3 eps of “Madagascar: A Little Wild” so i can’t say much about it yet, but i think it’ll be safe to say that it has to take place in an AU

if we say Madagascar takes place in 2005 when Marty turned 10, it had to have been in the late 90s when Alex was brought to the zoo

i saw one guy have a newer looking phone than what would have been used (which, considering it’s targeted toward younger kids, it’s understandable because kids don’t really know what older phones look like)

but not only that, there’s also the fact that in the first movie there’s this scene during Marty’s birthday party:

Marty: Doesn’t it BOTHER you guys that you don’t know ANYTHING about life outside the zoo???

Melman: nuh-uh

Gloria: uh-uh

Melman: Nope

Alex: Well…I mean, come on, that’s just one subject.

am i being nitpicky? yes. but i think it’s okay to be if i’m trying to figure out the timeline for the Madagascar series lol

in Season 2, Ep 3 “Gator Watch”, the penguins use a man’s car to rescue Rodger.

later on, Chuck Charles and Bonnie report about a man who swears penguins commandeered his car

and then we see these sketches:

zoo ramblings

has anyone tried to figure out just where every animal is in the zoo??

you’d think it’d be easy, just find a pic of the entire zoo like this:

or this picture from...i forgot which episode, but i think it was from the first season

but some of the animals are missing. like where are the gorillas? Leonard the koala? The baboons? 

wait....are those habitats for a gazelle and llama????  or a lanka?? i can’t really read it  and the flamingos are right beside the penguins????! what???? since when???? 

And the episode where Kowalski is stuck in the baby animal room, where would that place go?  (actually i wanna say that was built recently in that episode??)

and then after Rodger moved into the zoo, where was he placed???? 

OH and the Red Rhodesian Slasher, Alice said it was a new exhibit. ...why the frick did Alice leave the cage out in the middle of the zoo for little kids to see the cats mating--you know what, that’s a whole different matter 

...so

not to mention, tpom zoo is very different from the movie zoo, so...i guess after Madagascar 3 the zoo officials decided to renovate? 

I guess they’d have to, considering they just lost their biggest star (again) and the rest of the hippies + chimps + penguins...?

...WAIT A MINUTE THE GORILLAS ARE WHERE TED THE POLAR BEAR IS SUPPOSED TO BE

IF BADA AND BING ARE THERE...THEN WHERE IS TED?!?

Private doesn’t know who Buck Rockgut is in “The Red Squirrel”

and in my headcanons/timeline/whatever, Manfredi and Johnson were trained by him/or maybe just looked up to him (i can’t really decide)

so if Manfredi and Johnson teach the penguins how to fight, and know about Buck, then why wouldn’t Private know about him?

they could decide that he’s too young to train, so Private may haven’t heard about him...???

also why is Buck a special agent?? is he part of the North Wind or...what? and why is the Red Squirrel penguin enemy #1??? who decided he was penguin enemy #1??? why isn’t Blowhole considered that????

if Agent Classified was “speciest” against the penguins, then would have Buck even been a member??????

*Skipper and Rico just stare at him, the words slowly sinking in*

i just realized that Skipper, Kowalski, and Rico met Private as soon as he hatched from the egg

which means Private was a newborn

you ever wanna go back in time and just...kick your younger self?

cause i sure do

YEARS ago, i think my mom bought my brother and me one of those metal popcorn tins you see around Christmas time in frozen section in walmart (like on top of the freezers i think)

but this tin was Madagascar themed

and of course, being the little 9-10 year-old i was (and like 6-7 year-old my brother was), we didn’t take care of it

somehow it got bent and then used as a trash can, and then eventually i think it wounded up outside??? idk

but now we don’t know where it’s at (probably trashed :( ) and I can’t find it online :(
