🐸 What year did you start watching hermitcraft?

2018-19? My only interaction with MC or MC content at that point was Mumbo's redstone videos, and at some point I binged his HCs6 before s7 started.

🐧 What is your favourite season?

Season 7. I watched a solid majority of the hermits' entire seasons during lockdown (Mumbo, Grian, Scar, Bdubs, Etho, Joe, Cleo, False, Xisuma, Keralis, Beef, Doc, Impulse, Iskall, Stress, xB, and Tango, plus misc episodes from a couple others) and it was my very first season watching live. It was a super gradual build up but I love Iskall's idea for the shopping district and how distinct and central it is, I love so so so many of the builds I can't name them all, I love all the hermit interactions, it's how I got introduced to many of my current favorites, all the specific events like the Head Games or Decked Out and stat poker or the games district and the base swap/secret bases, more than I can name. A perfect storm of things that just makes it really special to me, and while I still very very much enjoy HC I don't think I'll ever have the time or desire to watch a season so comprehensively again.

Funny enough though, I actually can't stand the Mycelium Resistance stuff - not because it sucks, but I felt the exact same during the s6 civil war, I do NOT enjoy serverwide versus things at all. The mayor stuff was fun but pushing it at times as well LMAO.

16: you can't understand why so many people like this thing

iii don't like callbacks. which is fun in the Everything Is A Callback fandom LMAO this isn't to say that all callbacks or references are BAD but i feel like people get too caught up on specific things and never let go of them...? this is why i don't like most scarian stuff because 90% of it centres around The Desert. impdubs too /p or /r because so much of it is about how ooo they betrayed back in 3rd life (which is another thing but that's for a different time) and like basically all of sausage's empires s2 and it's all just. i don't know... i don't mind it if done sparingly or well. like doc's at the end of hcs6. or bdubs' clocks. but 9/10 times it just becomes "remember this series i did lol" and feels weird and out of place.

22: your favourite part of canon that everyone else ignores

i could say literally anything here okay let's go through scott's major favourite plot points. Etho's Lab Episode 404 and others. Gunpowder boys (and several bits about pix's character in general). The NHO (and specifically the unspoken effect it had on all of them). Arin qsmp. I get like one post in any of these tags per month and usually it is out of character. ultimately though i do have to go with ethos lab lore because there is sooo much potential there guys we could be doing so much but also i don't trust anyone to do it well so like stay away

You got to give mumbo credit- he was assigned the mole in HCs6...and I don't think he ever really let go of that

Scar: just wants friends and money, but uses money-making tactics to make friends and friendship-skills to make money

Bdubs: extremely devoted, But Watch Out

Tango: least careful guy out there

Impulse: his series never has any form of betrayal in it trust

Etho: watch in real time as his reputation as a cool guy gets washed away

Skizz: wholesome and vicious but tends to mix up when he should be which

Martyn: funnyman lore guy theater kid

Scott: thought this was a house building competition. always killing himself. wins.

Pearl: watch in real time as she slowly goes insane

BigB: adhd but not in the overstimulating way. Watch in real time as he slowly becomes a compulsive liar

Ren: theater kid SUPREME

Mumbo: the least loyal guy in the whole series imo
