i enjoy things other than skyrim i promise…

i made this costume, my own version of harley quinn, i’m a big clown and circus fan, this idea came to me over months of designing.

and yes… it jingles. a lot.

Just wanted to take a moment to raise a glass and wish y'all a fabulous Christmas 🎅🎁🎄 ☃️ I don't know about anyone else, but the lead up to mine got pretty hectic. I seemed to have all the time in the world to buy presents and stuff until suddenly I didn't anymore and I had to get my game face on. Thankfully people liked the stuff I got for them 👍👍. I'd been a good gal this year😇 (most of the time), so Santa didn't forget about me and I'm writing this curled up on my sofa in a brand new, super snuggly bath robe. I only wish I hadn't eaten quite so much 🍽️. The pic is me getting merry as Harley Quinn. As I've said before, my costume here is a bit of a mismatch, but I think it fits the character. Hope you like it. More cosplay shots coming in 2025.

I did my first photoshoot as Harley Quinn a little while ago!

To be honest, I was veeeery nervous to wear her and join this group shoot. BUT I did it anyway and got some amazing pictures out of it. I mean look at these!!

I know I haven't posted art in a while (love that art block) so I thought, I would share some more of my cosplay adventures.

Hot on the heels of my Halloween cosplay post, here's another of my recent Harley Quinn pics 📷 This one's called ♦️♦️SHE AIMS TO TEASE♦️♦️ Its one of my faves, though as you can see, some of the fake tattoos on my thighs were starting to come off by this point. I was a tad peeved about this tbh 🙄 I didn't pay much for them, but I'd have expected them to last more than a few hours. If the makers ever happen to read this, I'm giving you a big 👎. Things I like about the shot are the pose and the way it showcases my costume, which as I've said before is kind of a work in progress. I've used the gun 🔫 for a couple of other characters, but it probably suits Harley best and you're definitely seeing it from a good angle here. As for the location, I was imagining a lair somewhere. You can't really see, but along with the bat and vodka, there's some mocked up plans for a bank heist on the table. Will everyone's favorite clown girl pull the heist off? Who, knows, but anyone who tries to stop her is gonna have their work cut out 🤼‍♂️ (including that holier than thou caped crusader 🦇). Hope y'all are liking these new pics. Lots more to come.

Happy Halloween!

My take on Harley Quinn from Batman: The Animated Series for my costume this year.

I’m really proud of how she came out- and that I managed to balance creating the outfit and prop with midterms! Definitely one of my favorite outfits I’ve made.

Materials and Process:

Completely hand stitched in my dorm room using two separate jumpsuits I attached together. The collar is made from a pillow case and styrofoam, the decals on the limbs are made of scraps from the original jumpsuits.

The hammer is made of Target trash cans, wood, and foam.

Wig is from Amazon, boots I already owned.

Overall cost was about $168, took about 20 hours total. I think if I used a sewing machine instead of hand stitching it could have been done in 10 hours, but that’s just me estimating.
