He jolts, abruptly tuning back into the world around him. “…okay?” Jun’ichiro is saying. “Kenji-kun?” “Mm?” Kenji hums. His brain is too fuzzy to voice any more than that. Jun’ichiro’s frown deepens. He presses the back of his hand to Kenji’s forehead. His cool touch is a relief, and Kenji’s eyes slip shut at the sensation. He really is so tired, like he’s just finished eating a big meal.
